When a transmission issue became more pronounced after driving it off the lot, I started calling around a number of shops to see what could be done the week before Christmas and a planned road trip. The positive reviews on the web brought me here and I was not disappointed. The communication was consistent and they provided me with all the options, along with prices, lead times, advantages and disadvantages for each option.I ended up going with a new transmission. The price was fair and they even worked with the third party warranty (they were more knowledgeable than the dealership who provided it to me). 7k miles later and no problems. Would do business with them again.

Had a problem with my 4WD transfer box. The mechanic called me and gave me an honest estimate for labor costs. When I asked him what the price range would be for material cost he gave be a best case and worse case scenario. Good transparency, communication, and customer service. Turn around time was good too.

The owner seemed aloof when it came to car knowladge. Pro Tip: Use a shop where the person in charge is an actual mechinic or a service writter thats been around.I was in the car industry for 15 years, Im aware things happen and sometimes it may take longer. You keep them informed and yano, return calls and dont hang up on them. Can I be a pain, yes, when Im not in the loop otherwise, Im very easy. Ill go out of my way to make things easier on people if they commuicate with me. I was promised my car would be on a lift within a half hour after 5 days. I drove up there, and after it was well over an hour. You just dont toss the keys and say here, you try to make it right.

The owner seems like he just bought a business and he knows nothing about cars,He had my car 4 days longer than what he said he would and the problem wasnt fixed I feel like I paid an Insane price and the day after I got my car my alternator mysteriously burned out safe to say Im never going back!! They only got one star because the lady at the front was nice and she was trying her best

I just recently took my car to AAMCO Transmissions and the service was amazing! Ahmad and the mechanics was very helpful and let you know right away whats wrong with your car. They also help you with financing as well. Very poliet and humble guys.. They just gained another loyal customer!!

My husband tried going there twice (trying to give the benefit of the doubt), in both cases they didnt know when they would be able to diagnose the issue. The last incident last week, they kept our car for 4 working days and still didnt fix the car. They kept pushing my husband off when he would call and ask for a status update. I finally called them and asked for an update before COB that day and they called my husband 10 minutes before they closed stating that they still didnt know what was wrong with the car. Cost us a week in rental fees after we took it to some place else that was able to fix it in 24 hours!

AAMCO of Broomall, PA provided me with exceptional and timely service! My Chevy Impalas transmission gave out. Any and everyone that knows about cars know that is not a good feeling at all! Every shop I contacted before them gave me an insane price tag for a new transmission without even asking me what was wrong or diagnosing the problem! On top of that I had to figure out how I was gonna get my car to these places!Then, I came across AAMCO in Broomall, PA. Off the first phone call, they were very professional, considerate, and assured me that they would work with me on a good deal to get my vehicle up and running again.After I told them what the situation was with the vehicle, they provided me with excellent and timely towing service from my home to their shop! Given my financial situation with the pandemic, Ahmad was very considerate and provided me with a very reasonable price along with great financing options to rebuild my transmission.The transaction was smooth and he was able to get me back on the road in less than a week! When I went to pick my car up, the crew was very kind and professional and double checked to make sure I was satisfied with my vehicle before heading back on the road.Before leaving the shop, I noticed I was low on oil. I planned on getting an oil change later on in the day after leaving the shop.However, the team at AAMCO saw my concern, told me to pull the car back into the shop. My experience with this Aamco was horrible. I came to the shop on 1/31/20 I told them I had issue with my car. They said I can leave the car. The girl at the front desk put my infomation and gave my warranty infomation. Later that day I called them they said there 9 things wrong with the car and I have to wait next Friday to Monday call back about the car. I called my warranty and asked if they received a call from aamco they said no called back on 2/7/20, Im talking the owner hes yelling at me saying no have not fix your car that you have to Monday and he claim I never gave him the warranty number. So I called cooperate they called him they saying I have to wait another week to fix my car and they never called my warranty. Remind u I have to drive to work and for a week I had no car and if they have called my warranty I would have got a rental for work. The cooperate guy told me to get my car out of the shop because the owner is out of his mind. Saturday I came to get car out the shop they blocked my car and I have to wait 20 minutes because the owner could not find the other car keys. PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU ARE A BLACK WOMEN OR MAN DONT GO THERE THEY ARE RACIST AND SEXIST. OWNER IS CRAZY AND ONLY SERVE WHITE PEOPLE.

BEWARE! AAMCO in Broomall is making customers pay cash for vehicle repairs and not putting the work into company system so they can pocket the money. They are not doing the work properly and refusing to honor warrantys because said repair is not in their system after they took receipt out of the glovebox when veh was brought back the next day due to transmission not working properly. Then 9 months later we were back for same issues and was forced to pay MORE money as well as cash again because they could not find the original service in their!! The manager / owner is a thief

I would give this shop ZERO stars if I could! I had the absolute worst experience here. First off I had a 9am drop off time and the store manager was 30 mins late opening up the shop, then it was only supposed to take 3-4 days for a new transmission, I just picked my car up today after leaving it there from Tues 2/4-today 2/10 and it was never touched! This shop needs some serious management training! NEVER GOING BACK!

Exceptional Service!!! Extremely courteous and professional staff. Best price for a remanufactured transmission w/ 3Yr WARRANTY accepted at any AAMCO nationwide. Very accommodating.... Facility closed at 5pm, but after informing Mitch that I couldnt get there until 6pm and also sharing my concern about being without a vehicle while mine was being serviced, Mitch quickly conferred with the owner (Ahmed) who agreed to stay late and provide me with a rental car. Yup, they provided me with a rental while servicing my vehicle! Mitch also kept me updated on the repairs and most importantly did not try to force me to have unwanted repairs done. Upon picking up my vehicle he informed me of a missing lug nut and that my rotors were warped causing a minor vibration. I was told to bring the car back for a 10 day inspection just to ensure everything was okay and that I was completely satisfied. I intend to get those rotors changed and new brakes at that appt. Overall, I was very impressed with the level of service! I Would definitely recommend Mitch and Aamco for all your service repair needs! Just tell Mitch your needs and he will take care of you and your vehicle.My New Car Care Facility!!!
