What a wonderful company! From start to finish including helping me apply for financing. After contacting a few local a/c services in my area and they treated me as an inconvenience. Contacted Custom Services and from the start were great especially since they said I’m not in their service area. A service rep was sent out to analyze what i would need since it was replacing a 30 year old unit and within a few days of that everything was set up for the install. The installers showed up not only on time but a bit early for both days they were there. They were very polite and worked even through lunch on both days, being that this was in July and they were doing their best to get the a/c working. The cleanup was so remarkable, other than one little 1” piece of wire i found, you couldn’t have known they were ever there. The unit I had installed is also phenomenal. Highly recommend, the unit and the company. Only drawback is I wish my unit would’ve held out just a few more months so I could’ve gotten in on their vacation incentive they’re were offering with new unit installs 👀💁🏻‍♂️😂

Custom inspected our two A/C units, vital in our Tulsa area!They found one of the units, which had been serviced by a Home Maintenance agreement company, was not even properly bolted down after this other company fixed it. This could have led to the compressor motor completely breaking down. They also indicated this system was using a non-standard refrigerant (421a) which is nearly impossible to replace.The other A/C unit was cleared by their inspection, and they gave us a detailed reading of all figures on that A/C unit.The inspector spent much time educating me on the technical aspects of A/C units, including innovations in the last 5 years that have greatly increased their efficiency so as to lower cooling costs greatly. I really appreciated the time and efforts of this company to keep us informed and cool!

Brian from Custom just finished mid year scheduled HVAC maintenance at our house. He practically had to wade through mud to get to an outside condenser unit but he was not deterred and performed a major cleaning in spite of the muck and he was cheerful and professional throughout! I have had maintenace agreements with Custom for heating and air for 10 years and I have been very pleased with the service. Today my AC went out and it was hot. My technician was Omar, who was very professional, answered all my questions completely and with understandable detail. This young man went above and beyond. I asked if it would be a problem with the unit sitting a little canted (nothing drastic). Omar used rubber shims not only to level the unit but to eliminate any vibration AT NO CHARGE & without me asking. The invoice is very explanatory in format but also Omars description of what was done was very detailed and professional. Couldnt ask for anything more from the company or from the technician. This is the value of service that we enjoyed 20-30 years ago! Yes, Im old. But Im also very happy to have used Custom Services. Highly recommended!

They were very thorough and informed me of some repairs that are needed before cleaning the ducts. Some companies will not tell you about repairs and then have to come a 2nd time to clean them. I appreciate the honesty.

Oh my goodness! Night and day difference between Custom Air and a company I used in the past! Omar, my service professional, was polite, professional at all times, and explained every aspect of the service before I even had a chance to ask. He went above and beyond to attch my air freshener to the new filter when i asked. He was knowledgeable and offered information that will help me keep my unit running smoothly for a long time. For instance, did you know that closing off vents in rooms you dont use during the summer months is actually bad for a unit and is less cost effective than leaving them open? He was willing to close them back up for me if I wanted them to be shut, but with this new knowledge, why would I? There was no sales pitch, no pressure, no hassle. Thank you, Omar and Custom Air! Our A/C stopped working. When I contacted Custom via chat message they said they could have someone out the next day, but later called and said they had a cancellation and could make it out the same day. The tech was very nice and friendly. He got right to work and was efficient. He wore plastic booties so he wouldn’t track in dirt and he cleaned up after himself.

He sent me a report of what he found and would have been told if I would have needed something. This was my first time using Custom Service and will continue using them. Glad I changed.

We bought a new HVAC unit from them and had them installed. It was not cheap. After many errors and an unreasonable amount of time they got it done. They gave us two years of maintenance to make up for their terrible quality of work. At today’s service appointment the tech came out to service our perfectly fine working air conditioner, caught his tool on fire, fried the circuit board, then tells us they can’t fix it today. We will have to go without until their part comes in. Highly incompetent, unqualified technicians.

Our technician explained what is the reason for needed cooling fluid. He advised us if the small leak gets bigger Custom would have to return to refill cooling fluid. The technician, Omar, let us know of the new system the Custom was now installing. We let Omar know we will be contacting the Consultants for a sit down within a few months.

The service from my installers was great. They were on time, kept me updated on what they were doing, and were very profess. Jose and JD are the best!

My air conditioner quit after a power surge and I called custom services, who initially had installed my air conditioner at 6p.m. And Omar arrived apparently 1 hour later and was able to fix the problem so that I had a cool evening of sleep.

Custom Services was able to fit my elderly parents into their very busy schedule on the same day as I called. Their shower drain was backing up when kitchen sink was in use which was terribly inconvenient. The shower drain was fixed very quickly and customer service followed up with me the following day to make sure that my parents were satisfied with the job, which they most definitely were!

I appreciate the servicemen’s honestly and hard work to find the problem that could have cost thousands but turned out to be a simple warranty fix.

I had been with this company for 15 + years maintaining my heating and air. And have spent a significant amount of money with them. Recently I used their plumbing services and very, very much disappointed. They came out on a Tuesday to unclog a sewer clean out pipe. Unfortunately the following Saturday my drain started backing up again. Right away I called and explained that I needed them to come back because they did not resolve the issue completely. Keep in mind they offer emergency services. They told me they couldnt come back until the following Monday and on top of that wanted to charge me because it may require using a camera. I asked to speak to a Manager they refused to have one call me back until Monday. So to end my frustration I called Williams Plumbing and paid them after wasting my money with Custom. Im NOT going to spend another dime with Custom after my Heating and Air contract is over.Update to my review. A manager called me after left my 1 star and my comments. He paid a visit to my home to personally apologize for the poor customer service I received and reimbursed me for the cost of the service they performed. I very much appreciated the service recovery and I will continue to use their heating and air services. Also I will update my rating to a 4.

I do the yearly maintenance contract with them, which is awesome because they service my AC in the spring and my heater in the fall leaving me with no worries if my equipment is ready to go. Ricci and Jeremy were the techs who installed my new heat pumps this past week. They worked very hard, spending a great deal of time in the attic during our high summer temps. They were pleasant, timely, courteous and quite efficient. Considering the situation, I can certainly not fault them for not wearing masks. The job was done in the time frame given and without much of a hassle.

They‘ve improved our comfort in all three of the homes we’ve lived in over the years. We do subscribe to their PMA program, which gives a nice sense of security. Years ago, when our children were toddlers, our heater quit late into the evening on a very cold night. With one call made, Custom was there, at a reasonable rate. And because Custom honors and see the value of your requesting the same technician each time- Alan knew we had small children and how important heat was throughout the night, so we were made a priority.That’s our story, but I’m sure other clients have many similar stories to share. And by the same token, we’ve gladly given our appointment times to people who have had higher priority due to their needs. It’s just how this company works. Custom is a wonderful company which I can’t say enough nice things about. They’re a great group of people!

We bought a high efficiency Trane heating and air-conditioning unit from Custom Heat and Air 15 years ago. We have been very pleased with the units, and have kept them on their service contract for all these years. The service contract covers them cleaning and checking the units twice per year. On one service visit about 5 years ago the technician noticed that our air conditioner unit had a capacitor that was bulging and replaced it before it went out. Just recently our unit actually quit for the first time in 15 years. It turned out to be the furnace fan motor which the technician prepared us for the cost of $1200 for the motor. We were pleasantly surprised that Custom Heat and Air covered this repair even after 15 years as it is on their Lifetime Limited Warranty. It is great to find out you are dealing with a good company. So the moral to my story is buy good equipment from a reputable dealer and you will be happy for a long time.
