When my car had mechanical trouble the day I was scheduled to leave on vacation, Gilbert took pity and fixed my car promptly. The service was great, the price was a little lower than his already-reasonable estimate, and I was very grateful for the care he took with my car and me.

This is most reliable, honest, and skilled auto repair shop around. I have been to bad shops and dealerships that you just cant trust. Gilbert is honest and fair with prices for service. They can look at your car in a reasonable time frame too. Very accommodating.

I have only lived in Bristol for just over a year, and have brought my vehicle in to Gils a few times. Each time I have been impressed with the quality of service. I was upset when my regular mechanic moved to FL because I know good, honest ones are few and far between. A co-worker recommended Gilberts once I moved to town from Somerset and I am so glad he did.

Needed a flat tire fixed. Already had it off the car, so figured Id drop it off to be fixed and come back later. Brought it in, the guy wheeled it into the shop, came back 5 minutes later with it fixed and then put it on my car, replacing the spare, jack, etc back in the storage area. In and out in 15 minutes. Thanks, Gilberts! You have a customer for life.

Gils the best! The first time I went there I had a rusty muffler that Midas wanted to replace for $1400. Gil replaced a few rusty bolts and said it still had a few years of life left.

Gil has been there for my family since I was a baby. He works hard to cut costs without cutting quality and passes the savings onto the customer. He saved me a ton of money when an oil change shop tried to tell me I had leaks in my oil pan and wanted to charge me hundreds to fix it. Five minutes, one quick glance and Gil told me I was all set even though he could have taken me for a ride, too. Its nice to be able to bring my car to someone I can trust!
