4 stars because Im undecided if theyre great but theyre Good been coming here since I was 16 with a Buick Regal 😂😂😂 but its always a hit or miss some times the people are great, some times theyre just doing their job but the job is always done Fast and accurate no matter what and some guys will go above and Beyond and even tell you about other problems etc etc theyre really great on Main Street even the young ladies. (They hate the guy that helps you they yelled at him we only do oil changes!) 😂 older Jamaican guy he needs a promotion Im sure we all him! He get 5 stars!

All they do is waste time talking. They offer you all these services that you don’t need only to tamper with your car, so they can get the sale. Absolutely ridiculous .

Has anyone had their car come down with malfunctions after they visited this particular valvoline store?Please post it. I just want to see if it was accidental or otherwise. Also coupons don’t work here I have AAA and AARP membership BUT SOMEHOW THEY DON’t WORK WITH THEM ( and them only )!!!!!

The workers were friendly and professional. The told you what they were doing and showed you items the replaced. The price was high even with a discounted coupon.

The attendant was very nice and professional and handled all of our needs.

They ripped us off by scaring my spouse to add more services than what was necessary. We went in for a simple oil change, and they used scare tactics to scare my spouse into buying a new filter (when not necessary) and a new battery (when it was not necessary). This is not acceptable.

Best place to do maintenance on your vehicle. Very thorough, detailed and lets you know if theres any other concerns. And awesome customer service!!!

Went in for an oil change and was upsold a A/C recharge too, since my A/C wasnt working, I questioned the guy if that would fix it and if I would get cold air again. Well, that wasnt the case...no cold air coming out of it and 149$ less in my wallet 👎 I wont be coming back.

Very impressed with this particular Valvoline location. They do excellent work and are very professional and pleasant to deal with. I am a regular Valvoline customer for many years and can honestly say that this is the best location that I have visited. This business is managed and run very well.

The staff is concerned and helpful in every way. Overall it was a great experience that I would recommend.

I went there occasionally when i cannot reach my place of service, and they always does a good job doing their safety check, also giving you updated on everything that needs to be done good job guys.

Sat from 2:15-2:37 today, and the lines never moved. Plenty of employees in the bays but none of them seemed interested in working. Went to Splash on North Avenue and there was no wait for an oil change.

These gentleman took excellent care of me today. They took their time and did it right and caught things that others left undone at the last place I got my oil changed at. I was the last car of the evening before they closed and they still treated me with an excellent quality of service. I’m very pleased. I’ll come again and again.

Destroy not 1 but two cars costing thousands of dollars in oil leak repairs. To be honest not bad people but service quality was terrible. My cars were only service by the dealership two brand new cars thought I was saving more expensive and in the long run cost a lot more.Oil pan bottom of the car destroyed and zip tied do not bring your car there.

I was quoted $85 over the phone for synthetic oil change 2014 BMW X3, I usually take It to the BMW dealership, since I had a $15 off coupon I wanted to give Valvoline a try. When I got there I had to drive it inside myself, instructed me to do all this things such as left signal, right signal, step on brake while shifting to reverse, put on drive, park, turn on headlights, turn off...etc. Then told me it’s $110.00 ... I declined, and told them BMW dealership it’s $80.00... one of the guy was rude, and said I was cheap.BMW dealership are more professional. You leave them the car they do all the inspection for you. They have a lounge with HDTV, free snack, coffee, and soda while you wait. If you can not wait they offer a free BMW loaner car. In addition they wash your car free of charge. Valvoline have the nerve to call me cheap... no it’s the lack of service for $110.00 and lying that it’s $85.00 over the phone.

My car literally died right in front of the door waiting for service today. I pulled up because of a check engine light. While waiting oddly all of the lights began to go on and off. It was pretty weird then the car just died. The manager (Curtis) came out to have me move forward and I explained my problem. Without hesitation he asked me to wait a moment and within a minute he came around with his vehicle to try to get my car started. Turned out it was more than a battery issue so he calmly (even though I was blocking everyone in line) began to have other customers go to different doors and then an entire crew came out to push my vehicle into the bay. The entire staff were very friendly and understanding. Truly a great team. Once the car got in he offered to switch the battery but did state it may not be the ONLY problem. He also stated that if it wasnt the battery I would not have to pay for the battery. So he placed a new battery in but it turned out it was most likely the alternator. Being that I knew the battery was the original I kept the new battery and was able to get the car to a local garage. I regularly change my oil here and I have never had a problem. I applaud the entire staff for their professionalism and the great camaraderie amongst the crew. Headquarters should really be proud of Curtis and the staff.

Good service, and they check your lights and filters every time. The tech showed me my oil filter and said it was in good shape and should be fine till at least the next service. He showed me the air filter - which was disgusting looking - and suggested I change it. No pressure at all. I changed it, and replaced a couple of lights I hadnt known were out, as well as getting my oil service. Since it ran a good deal more than I was expecting to pay, the tech waved aside my coupon and entered a higher value coupon for me. Ill go back.OK - Two days later, I was back. Both of my headlights were out, which I thought must have just become disconnected when they did the other service. Sadly, it was not the case - both filaments were broken. I was BROKE as well, and the lights were $30 each. But you have to have headlights, right? So I agreed to replace them - but they only had one in stock. The very nice young man who waited on me told me that they were open until 7, and that if I could get a replacement light at one of the nearby auto parts stores, he would put it in for me free of charge. And he did. I thought that was very considerate of him.

I had a coupon for Valvoline and thought I’d be saving money with the coupon but I was very much wrong I ended up spending $30 more then any place I’ve been to get an oil change. The person that took my info never asked what oil I wanted I had to tell him and I’m sure he gave me the most expensive. Then they went on about all this stuff I need to get done that would be way over $500 and telling me that my car would break down if I didn’t get this done I am going to look into what he suggested but def somewhere else and this place will never have my business again

1 week ago I got an oil changed, and after a week my car started leaking oil, I took it back for them to take a look at the oil plug, maybe it need it to be tightened, but they said it was my oil pan and gasket. Before the oil changed I never had any leaks, now going to Valvoline quick oil change theres a leak.Will never go back, very disappointed.And its true about the rude people that works there, totally unprofessional vocabulary.

I went to this exact place about 1-2 years ago. Everything went well.Fast forward to July and August 2018. New crews in both July and August 2018. In July I changed engine oil for my sedan. A month later — check engine light popped up. UPDATE 9/2018: the check engine light has nothing to Valvoline.In August 2018, I changed my other car’s engine oil and coolant. A week after this, I realized that this car seems like it loses steam when turning. Turns out, they forgot to seal the air valve when they were changing the coolant. They also left a bunch of weird parts inside the hood of my car.

Stopped into this Valvoline a few years ago when I was in need of a quick oil change and have been a regular customer ever since. The guys are friendly, thorough and knowledgable. They patiently answer any questions I have and I never feel pressured to do any of the suggested services. They take their time explaining each step and I appreciate that. Happy to recommend!

I used to never ever go to this particular Valvoline because of the staff. About a year ago I was desperate for an oil change and couldnt make it to another place so I drove in. The new staff here is superb! Very professional, informative and quick!

They try to do a LOT of up selling. They take a HUGE advantage of women and even guys who dont know much about synthetic oil or even flushing transmissions & cooling and every other thing they try to sell you. Meanwhile they cant even put the valve stem caps back on the tires after the check the air pressure, this is why I wont let a high school dropout do anything more then change the oil and filter. And if you do get this stuff done, get it in writing that they will guarantee all the work and any damage they might cause because they wont put it in writing. Just go to the dealer. If this post sounds rude well they have tried to take advantage of every women I know who has gone to this place.

What a bunch of thieves. I am so angry. I just stopped to get an oil change on my sister’s car and the guy does the check that they do, asks me about some low fluids and then does the oil change without asking me what oil to use. He uses the most expensive one he can and then says that he asked me and I approved. I told him that he never mentioned oil type and he insisted he did. He told me I must not have been listening. When was the last time an oil change on a 14 year old car cost you $81? Well, I am horrified. I will never use them again and if you do, watch your six with these crooks.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! This place caused $500 worth of DAMAGES to my vehicle then refused to pay for it because I didnt take it to them before having the repairs done. Of course I didnt! You messed up my car! Why would I ever let you touch it again!? I asked for a reimbursement for the repairs done by the dealership and they refused! Do NOT take your car here!

I have been using the Bridgeport Main st Valvoline’s services since March of this year. No matter the issue big or small this team comes together and exemplifies the upmost reassurance and are adiment in providing a plausible solution in a very quick turn around time. My wife had her oil changed on December 2nd period after leaving there she knows the car was smoking. She thought they had just spilled some some oil on the engine when filling the oil. The car continued to smell like it was burning oil. I took the oil cap off to add oil because it was low. I noticed there was a hole in the back side of the valve cover where you put the oil in. It is a plastic cover when they put the oil filler in there they broke the cover. Causing oil to leak out . We took the vehicle back to show them the damage they had caused. They told us to come back on Monday and speak to a manager but the car was not safe to drive. They denied having cause that and said they would have to review video to determine if they caused that. We left with no resolution and were told to come back very unsatisfying.

Valvoline’s, located on main st in BPT,Ct is by far((in my opinion)) the best place to go if you want a great/fast oil change! The whole entire staff there, is GREAT! Comedians, if you ask me! Lol. They all know how to make you feel at ease when working on your car! They show you what your oil level was and where it’s at once they fill it up. They always check my tire pressure and signal’s as well! I’m always able to use a coupon from RETAILMENOT((if one is available))lol. Over all.....great ppl!!! Always smiling and getting the job done! The service was really quick. It wonders you whether they changed oil or not. Of course they do the checks for free also they will burst your tire for free. And keep saying that the tire valve is not good, nails on tire, etc,.

I like their service and the fact that they check tire pressure, filter etc. Im glad i can always get a groupon when need be. The workers are not the best when it comes to their computer system.

They get pissed off if you decline additional services. Or may be because I presented a Groupon ? The workers may be comped on up selling possibly, which might explain the attitude.
