This place is absolutely amazing. The service is so nice and had a ton of drinks to choose from, and it gets better with the actual hair cut. I’ve never had such good treatment. If you choose somewhere else your crazy. Also the manager Melanie is super nice and is great at cutting hair. And to top it off they took me in 15 mins early!

Appointment for 1130, got in the chair at 1150 and was done by 1205. $45.00 for 15 minutes of work. Obviously got screwed up with my appointment and rushed me through. Haircut just ok.

$70 for a an undercut I didn’t ask for.Even showed Pam a photo of how I wanted my mop cut and she still gave me an undercut. I’ll blame myself for ineffective communication since it was my first time there. She was pleasant to chat with and friendly but smelled like stale cigarettes which isn’t a wonderful scent to put up with for 30 minutes.For the cost of the cut I expected way better quality. If I return be using a different barber.

Melanie has been cutting my hair now for years and gets it right every single time! She always listens to exactly what style/length I want, checks with me to make sure the length is correct throughout the appointment, and even teaches me different ways to style my hair when the haircut is complete! Hands-down my favorite place I’ve ever gotten a haircut.

I never write reviews, but this kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I purchased the 12 month executive membership at the beginning of last year, but since the end of the year I have been gone for military services. I sent in a request to talk with corporate via the boardroom website well over a month ago in order to request a refund for the remaining months of my membership. Under normal circumstances I would just request a hold, but upon my return I will no longer be in a location with these services. I have not received a single response from corporate since. I have had nothing but great experiences from Janelle at the Brentwood, TN location and would highly recommend them, but my experience (or lack of) with corporate has been useless and put me off of using the company. I would not recommend purchasing packages if you are a service member.

Kambi has cut my hair at least 5 times and is fantastic. My hair is super straight and hard to cut. Kambi sticks to the scissors and cleans things up so I look professional! She also has an outgoing personality and keeps things lively during my visits. I would recommend her to anyone.

When I first came here I was taken aback by Terrie’s sassy personality. Took me a good 15-20 minutes to really understand her, and once we clicked she understood the style I wanted for my hair. I have come back here twice and don’t feel the need to search elsewhere for a professionally done groom. Great job Terrie - love the cut!

My husband visited your business in the afternoon on October 19. He was very excited because he had never had an experience like this. He paid the $60 for a beard shaping and head shave and product. His beard didnt look much different at all when he got home and his head had stubble on it when he wanted it smooth. On top of that, you all charged him twice when he was paying. The second charge was refunded but the very next day we were charged again. Very unprofessional and did not deliver services requested. He will not be back nor will any of my friends.

I have been to the Brentwood Boardroom 2-3 times. Janell has been great and has been the only one to cut my hair so far. Janell was on vacation this week. I set up an appointment with Tori. My time was 4:45-5:30 as I was having a beard trim also. I arrived at 4:25. The receptionist told me that she was glad I got there early, but those were the last words spoken to me for the next 40 minutes. As I waited in the lobby, I couldn’t understand why there was clumps of hair on the floor in front of the receptionist’s stand. I waited until 5:05 without as much as anyone saying “we are sorry, we will be right with you?” Nothing. So, at 5:05 I got up and told the receptionist to cancel my appointments. She looked up from the computer she had been on and said: “are you sure? Well, alright.” IWon’t be back. It was pretty obvious to me that with Janell on vacation “the cat was away, so the mice did play”.

This place is great. .. Torie ALWAYS have my haircut on point no mistakes my fade is always faded my beard is always sharp and detailed and so is my hair my stylists is amazing.. she pays attention to all details my ears my ear hair my eyebrows etc.. The benchmark is wonderful as soon as I leave I feel like Im on cloud 9 I cant wait to put on my shades and leave knowing that Im looking great.. Taurus personality is overwhelming shes a beautiful person inside and I love the way she cuts my hair is so does my wife if you book online her name is at the bottom of the list. ... Enjoy

I wrote a review about nine months ago and I wanted to take another opportunity to share my experiences at the Boardroom Salon For Men since that time. Every single time I schedule an appointment I make sure to request Melanie G. She does an absolutely fantastic job at cutting my hair. She remembers exactly how I like my haircut but also genuinely cares about whats new in my life and we have fun conversations during every appointment.At one point during one of our conversations she mentioned the benefits of signing up for one of their memberships. At the time I wasnt ready to make that kind of investment. Instead of being pushy she just accepted my response and kept on working. There is really nothing worse than a pushy sales pitch when all you want to do is get a haircut. Over the next couple months as I would come in to get my haircut, she mentioned one or two benefits of the membership but never got pushy. This non-pushy, informational sales approach is extremely hard to master but Melanie G. has it down. I learned about the program over time but never felt there was pressure to sign up quick.Because of Melanie Gs excellent service and non-pushy approach to the membership, I went ahead and signed up for the executive membership today. I know this review is primarily about Melanie G. but I also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff. They are always extremely welcoming and very helpful. The process to sign up for the membership was quick and easy.I am really looking forward to utilizing this membership in the coming weeks and months. First timer to a nicer place. Im a usual local barber type of guy. This was a very pleasant change. It was more money but I feel it was well worth it.Sydney was wonderful; she picked up on the fact I was quiet and didnt push conversation. I gave her some general I want this and this and told her to run with it. She gave me something wonderful. Its nice to give professionals leeway and be impressed with the results. I might have just become a regular.

The Boardroom Salon For Men was an unforgetable experience! I got their popular benchmark service and it was incredible. The staff were so polite, the hand/arm massage was relaxing, and everyone worked promptly, but not stressful so the whole atmosphere was relaxing, but not stressful at all. The stylist kept polite conversation with me the whole time and made me feel comfortable and in charge of my own haircut. She performed exactly the way I wanted and expected. The staff also recommended some products that have been miraculous for me. Altogether my experience at the Boardroom Salon for Men was amazing and I will definitely be going back.

This mens hair salon caters to men and aims to put them at ease about taking care of their grooming and appearance. Its full service hair, shave and skin treatments, and you get a free soda or beer while you get your hair cut. I followed one of the stylists here from a different salon because she cut my hair so well (keep up the great work Miranda!), and she has done a great job as manager at turning this Boardroom salon into a place I look forward to getting my hair cut at. The pricing is a bit high if youre used to a $12 haircut at a barber, but you get the level of service and attention you pay for. Ill be trying their barber for a straight razor shave soon. The location is convenient with other great shopping and food options just next door.

I just moved to Brentwood from Northern Virginia and Im very particular about my hair being done the same way, every time. Ive had 2 barbers/stylists in the last 12 years. I even brought pictures of my haircut from my previous stylist for reference. I scheduled an appointment with Kayla shortly after moving here and will now be going back to her every 2-3 weeks without question. She did an amazing job and actually listened to what my needs were, instead of other stylists Ive encountered who make you feel like you are just another haircut. I will now be bringing my 3 sons to Kayla for haircuts at least every 6 weeks. Treating customers like they have treated me is how you grow your customer base. Well done!

I have never seen the business model of Boardroom Salon until now. I saw a sign in the window that attracted me to have a conversation with the manager, Miranda. I can get unlimited haircuts for a year for one price. That blew my mind! I signed up for that real quick! Since then I have put it on my calendar to go back every 10 days...I may go back every 8 or 9, well see. It doesnt cost any extra, thats for sure!I also learned they have a billiards table. I have played a game or two of 8-ball while I wait my turn. They even hook you up with a nice beverage to enhance the experience.And if you can commit to it, I would highly recommend the Benchmark service. It is a great opportunity to take a little time out of your day and get a face massage, arm and hand massage, and a paraffin wax treatment on the hands. The Benchmark is where its at in my opinion!I look forward to trying some of their other services soon, but until then, I will be using the Benchmark as my benchmark for the next 10 days so that I can feel my best and look my best for my business ventures.

Maybe I went here on a bad day or had a bad stylist, but I did not enjoy my experience. My stylist was friendly, but she talked about things you would never expect to hear in a boardroom. The haircut was sub-par for the price. Something I would expect to get at SportsClips, not for a premium price.

So I have been here 3 times and not had a good haircut yet. So Ive wasted 120 dollars here. Im about 99% positive the person who cut my hair today was high. Now I have to spend more money to correct this. This place is convenient to where I live but the convenience of the area is trumped by the awful service I received. Boardroom Salon is by far my favorite place to get a haircut. It feels more like a spa at times than a barbershop. I get the Benchmark package each time and love it. I usually book with Miranda, and she does an awesome job with my hair and beard.

Between the awesome staff, staff and services it creates an atmosphere that you can relax in after work. Plus, who can turn down a beer while you wait? Jen has been cutting my hair each find and I will let no one else touch my hair. Jen is a superior stylist with cutting edge techniques in the industry. She is very professional, polite, and fun to interact with. You can tell people and hair are her passiona and it shows in her work. I always leave feeling confident and clean cut afterwards. Let her do your next Benchmark service. You wont find a better stylist. I hope to stay in Nashville just to never find another one.

If you’re an average man looking for an average, no frills, zero style haircut that you have to clean up yourself when you get home, this place is for you. My hairdresser didn’t know what a fade was, which is absurd for a place that charges $43 for a basic haircut and single wash that’s done in 20 mins. Make no mistake, this is just a Supercuts dressed up with wood paneled walls and a billiard table (that you can’t play with) that charges triple the price for the pleasure of looking at said decorations during the time you’re left waiting past your scheduled appointment time. The competition for hairdressers in Brentwood must be pretty abysmal for this place to get a 4.6 rating. My trust in Google reviews really took a hit after this experience...

I went for my first time and I had a specific haircut in mind. I loved how they washed and dried it twice but the stylist seemed a little lazy with my hair. I came home to my girlfriend and family laughing and telling me my hair was uneven on each side. I looked in the mirror and noticed that one side of my head was very much shorter than the other and my hair style was sitting on ones side of my head rather than on top. I was turned away from the mirror during the whole cut unable to see what she was doing. I guess I paid for not asking to watch. I dont feel satisfied with the job they did. I hope to all you people with longer hair make sure you watch them carefully because I felt like they did the minimum to the cut I wanted.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!! Having super thick, curly, and wavy hair Im as picky about my hair as its hard to cut. So, REALLY PICKY. I spent days trying to find a decisive awnser to who gives the best mens haircuts, so let me just save you the time THIS IS THE BEST HAIRCUT AROUND!!!! Ask for Melanie, she could work anywhere, but I am so glad shes here!

Won’t be back. Arrived 20 mins early and waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. They had open seats for days. Not to mention the girl who was supposed to cut my hair played on the computer while I sat there.For a $45 hair cut. You would think you wouldn’t have to deal with that.

It takes a lot to get me to write a review. I am so disappointed in my experience that I feel compelled.Im new to the area and was looking for a professional-style haircut. Ive been going to a standard old man barber for 15 years or so, and while I love the conversation and atmosphere, most haircuts are fairly bland. I decided Id spend a little more to see a stylist who could help me step my game up a little and look like I got a nice haircut. I looked around online and saw a lot of the higher end barber shops and had a hard time deciding. The Boardroom was close to my house and had appointments available, so I decided to try them. I also brought my 2 year old son with me for a trim.They did a great job with my sons cut. He wasnt very cooperative but they did a good job getting it done quickly. The ladies did a good job of interacting with him and he got a decent haircut. So kudos to them for that.Then came my haircut. My personal consultation involved me discussing how I usually maintain my hair but that I was looking for a more professional cut and style. The end of my consultation was Ok so basically trim it up. I didnt feel like I got a consultation at all, just a typical conversation you can have with any barber.The haircut itself was an absolutely standard haircut. What really disappointed me was that there was no neck shave. Ive been paying $15-20 for 15 years at barber shops and they always include a straight razor neck shave. This just seems absolutely standard for a barber shop and Ive come to expect it. Well, they didnt shave here. I got the buzzer to the neck. The last time someone took a buzzer to my neck was at Fantastic Sams or SuperCuts when I was in high school. A previous reviewer said this was a dressed up SuperCuts -- this is 100% how I felt when I left. I was incredibly disappointed.Maybe my expectations were off. They had fancy decor, higher prices than Ive ever paid, and description of their services like I could expect someone who was going to do something a little special with my hair. Instead I got a very uninspired, expensive trim in a nice seat.Needless to say, for my next haircut Im going to try a different barber shop in town where I can hopefully find someone who can help me with my style and, at the very least, give a good neck shave.

Theee times. Ive been over there three times - twice with a reservation and once as a walk-in. Both times with the reservation, I was told there wasnt an actual reservation for me and there would not be space for several hours. The time I walked in (which they advertise on the door), the wait was over 2 hours. I sure did want to spend my hard earned money with them, but it wont ever happen at this location.Id rank them as a Zero but cant do so and still post a review. No idea how their actual services are but their front door customer interaction is less than stellar.

Ive been a Boardroom member (Express membership) for 2 months now and it is absolutely worth it! The service is ALWAYS TOP NOTCH and impressive. Ive worked with a few of their stylists and all of them are professional and approachable. They stylist I see the most is Miranda and she always makes me feel welcomed...very easy to talk to and offers great styling advice when needed. Ive been an avid user of Aveda products for a long time but Miranda showed me Bumble and Bumble...Ive been hooked ever since!Overall the entire staff is great. The facility has a great location in Brentwood. Even though the area is very busy (lots of restaurants and office complexes) Ive never had to wait more than five minutes if that. You can tell that Miranda and her staff are excited to be there by the way they carry the energy in the place.I highly recommend Boardroom in Brentwood as they will exceed your expectations in three areas: People, Service and Professionalism.
