We would recommend Mise en Place for any home project. Jennifer was extremely flexible with ideas, able to explain to us why some things work and others dont We wanted to be very involved in the design process and she took our ideas, put them into drawings to show us what the end product would look like. She offered great expertise in the design and materials and there was always an open dialogue between all of us. She offered ideas that we had not thought of which in the end made the overall remodel just what we had hoped for. Her easy manner and her fabulous team were great to work with. She picked a general contractor she felt worked with our personalities; and they worked hand in hand on this with us. He and his workers were great, always cheerful and polite, always on time. Over the course of the project, there were design changes and issues that come up on all projects but they were handled in a professional manner to our satisfaction. They offered ideas for all kinds of things to make it special & uniqueWe remodeled our kitchen, master bath, closet, laundry, a new stair case, and an outdoor covered patio. One challenge was the return-to-work with COVID work restrictions after a 6 week work stoppage about mid-way through our project. The team implemented the necessary precautions and picked back up without missing a beat. Restart was also especially challenging due to counter-top and glass vendor scheduling and work which stacked other projects with ours and slowed completion a bit. Despite this the team continued to press towards completion. Their attention to detail and task re-prioritization when faced with vendor delays was impressive. We hired Mise en Place to design our kitchen remodel, and they took it from a standard builder style 90s honey oak to a white Shaker beauty! Totally rearranged appliances to make the space more efficient, amazing flooring, quartz countertops and high quality cabinets finished out the look. They took the time to listen to our wish list, and incorporated everything we asked for. There were some bumps along the way, but what project doesnt have them? Jennifer and her crew took care of everything to make things right, and in the end, we have our dream kitchen!
