This place always does an amazing job! I brought in my project car for a performance exhaust job... Muffler delete resonator swap and a snazzy tip... They had me on the road in about an hour and the job they did was incredible... Very fair price for the high quality work... The welds on the pipe look beautiful... Also the shop is cool, I really like the metal sculpture art decorating the facility... I will always recommend their service! This is the second car Ive had them work on so show them some love and get some work done here youll be glad you did!

My 2004 Honda Pilot developed a problem with the front seat moving at the slightest breaking which would almost throw me into the back seat. I pulled the covers off the controls which revealed that plate holding the incline motor had fractured. It is riveted to the side which is geared and powered by the motor.I removed the motor and the bolt which held the bottom of the plate to a bar that rotates.I cut the rivet heads with my angle grinder and a bur. I took the plate to KM&B and they welded up the broken plate in less than 5 minutes.Told me No Charge. I ground down the weld on the mating surface, re-drilled the blown out hole on one side and bolted it back up after mounting the motor.It works perfect.Feeling guilty at not being charged for the fine work K.M. did I went back and gave the mechanic $10 for beer and thanked him again.

I have a double battery system that a tow truck driver dismantled for my wife, one rainy night. These folks hooked it all back up, just like it was, FOR FREE!! Asking only that I return for future muffler or repair work?! Dang Right, Ill be back!! And, Ill send everyone I know your way!! Jeep Dealership #4 wouldnt touch it!

This shop is legit. In and out in an hour and a half with a new exhaust system. Saved time AND money by not having to order the parts myself and saved me from having to replace the catalytic converts due to rust at the connecting joint.Use them. You won’t be disappointed!

I went in here knowing what my problem was and brought my own parts and ask them just to put them on for me and they were able to do it for barely a hundred bucks it was awesome they put on a new catalytic converter and replaced the O2 sensor. What more can you ask for but Ive also been there not knowing my problem and had them run a diagnostic on a check engine light and they were able to identify a bad O2 sensor on different vehicle I used to own and theyve always had great prices and their work has always been very nice highly recommend this place for exhaust work.

Sam at the front desk was absolutely wonderful.Sounds great. Price for a dual in single out Flowmaster was $230, thats just the muffler. Online its an $85 muffle.It doesnt say Flowmaster anywhere on it.Thanks everyone!

I was referred to Kitsap Muffler & Brakes by mechanics who worked on my car. Apparently I needed a new tailpipe. The small office was very efficient and social-distancing conscious. While my car was being inspected I was taken to an outdoor area with seating. The technician called me to the car and explained the cost and time (he estimated 45 minutes). I was back on the road almost exactly 45 minutes later for the price I was quoted. I was very impressed with everyone there.

Thought my muffler was broken, turns out a bar had just been rattling against it. They fixed the problem, free of charge!

They welded my new exhaust in place, instead of taking time and welding sections that aren’t accessible first, they welded up the “what they could reach”Of course it leaked. Brought it back and they were rude when I questioned how it was fixed.I got the feeling I was a inconvenience to them for wanting quality work and for that, I will not return.

Did not pull fully into their parking lot and was immediately jumped by a mechanic to move my vehicle. Hostile sentiment was immediately echoed by apparently disgruntled individual behind the desk. When I proceeded to oblige to the request they did not hold my place in line, so I left and went to the polite folks at MIDAS.

So I had my wife take my 2016 Nissan Alatma in for a oil change. The mechanic doing my oil change noticed a rattle. This has been driving me crazy for a while now due to Razor Road. They then took the time to do a quick weld job on my heat shield that was lose. I really want to thank these fine folks that work here, you guys went above and beyond on this job. Best part is they didnt even charge me any extra. 33.00 for a oil change and expect service. Would definitely recommend.

I was quoted $1200 for a brand new catalytic converter, when a stock universal one would cost me $89 plus labor. Would not recommend. I got better service at a shop in P.O. and they did what I wanted.

Poor customer service. Bryan, the manager, I assume, is amazing but he’s the manager and isn’t always available. The person you’re likely to talk to is a blonde female who is very rude and doesn’t seem interested in her job or providing superior customer service like Bryan did. My wife recommended me to this place but I’ll be going elsewhere. Two stars because I know they can do better.

They gave us a new cat converter at good quality and good price, but they totally messed up the diagnosis when we had problems down road, weren’t able to correctly diagnose the issue. Go here if you are already 100% sure of what your car needs.

These guys were great. We arranged to have a car set up for towing behind our RV. Short story - ended up trading the RV and it took us 10 months to get the new one in for the final connections. The staff were very helpful, patient and friendly. They explained how to hook everything up so that even I could understand it. The car towed so well we almost forgot it was there. Thank you.

I’ve had 2 bad experiences now. The first time I had to wait 2 hours for a simple oil change because they couldn’t “find” my filter.. the second time they did it quickly but still managed to not tighten my cap and oil leaked everywhere. Really unamused, rather go to jiffy lube..

I came in to have my exhaust adjusted. The previous owner had the exhaust installed incorrectly. The tailpipe was too close to the bumper and rear axle so it would hit. They adjusted it quickly and for a reasonable price. Fast, friendly, and would definitely recommend to others!

First time in, they did great work. Straight piped my Chevy S10, did exactly what i wanted, kool people to talk too. Not only that but the workmanship is really great. Didnt try and sell me anything! Worth the money.

They do a good job on trailer lights. Definitely my go-to place for that. Had Muffler work in the past and they did a great job on that as well. Friendly staff. I highly recommend.

My muffler came off & was quoted $69.99 for a new one which was the cheapest around town. I came in for a free estimate and only needed a weld. Called in to get an estimate for a LONG TUBE HEADER install. After the rep researched the service, he called back and gave me a quote for $360 to do the service. Showed up and was told I would have to pay $760+ tax, and potentially more for any other encounters they may run into.... Complete waste of my time. Gave me a price over the phone that was nowhere near the actual price when I arrived with the car... They are missing that, we can help you achieve your goals customer-friendly approach. Was told over the phone, for certain, that they do full long tube header installs; when I got there, they told me they only do factory manifold installs. What type of aftermarket professionals tell you they cant do aftermarket work? Recommend you take your business elsewhere if you expect to be given correct pricing, actual service and trustworthy customer care.

Im highly disappointed in this place for as long as they have been around I would have thought the work would have been better quality! I am a certified welder in multiple fields and the welds on my exhaust are some of the ugliest welds Ive ever seen! I normally take my rigs to a different exhaust shop but they were jammed packed and I needed some work done asap so I took it here what a waste of my money, I will never be back and will never recommend this place. To bad I cant give less then one star!

I was looking for a place to get my brakes done and Kitsap Muffler & Brakes was my first choice because I like supporting local businesses. I called for an estimate for new pads and rotors turned and they said they couldn’t give me an estimate unless I brought the truck in. Huh?? Seriously? I simply explained it was a routine job and I didn’t understand why I’d have to bring it in. The girl on the phone sounded like she had no idea what she was talking about with cars. Afterward I called 4 other places. Each of them was able to give me an estimate for a brake job within 30 seconds. Kitsap Muffler & Brakes just lost my business. It baffles me how a “Brake shop” can’t even give a simple estimate for a brake job over the phone.

I started using Kitsap Muffler in 1980 and anytime Im within a hundred miles of Kitsap Muffler I come here to do all my exhaust system work.They have worked on my Ford F-100 my Toyota Corolla Plymouth Reliant Cadillac Sedan DeVille Dodge Rally RV Mercury Colony Park this is just a short list of the vehicles that they have worked on for me over the past 37 years.They even customized an exhaust system for me so I could gain an extra 5% horsepower when I needed it. I cannot recommend them enough. If you smell exhaust or if its noisy go see Kitsap Muffler and Brake.

A family friend recommended me Kitsap Muffler.I called this morning, got an estimate on the phone $94 to weld on a catalytic converter that i bought this morning. They were busy, but got me in within 5 min. The price i paid was the same as the estimate. they have free wifi!! Great work guys!!! The only downside is the T.V its small and quiet, and only plays the same thing over and over it seems like. I would recommend everyone call there first and then call around and compare.

Great customer service and honesty! My truck was making a horrendous rattle, they and I both thought it needed a muffler. I told them if it was $200 or under to go ahead and replace it. When I got back to the shop, they said it just needed the tail pipe re-welded. He fixed it free of charge. They could have replaced the muffler and made $200, with me never the wiser. Ill definitely take any future muffler work to them.

Took truck in for a check engine light and hesitation when accelerating. I was quoted around $1300 to fix several things on it. This included a tuneup and a knock sensor that I was charged over $100 for. Found out later the part is less than $20 part. I get the phone call that my truck is done and I can come pick it up total cost $1400. So I go to pick it up and I’m Told the cadylatic converter is bad but it will cost me another $3600 to fix. Maybe I should consider trading it in. Now before I sunk $1400 into the truck maybe they should have mentioned the cadylatic converter before hand. At any rate I’m on my way home and honestly see no difference in the way it runs, an hour into my drive home the check engine light comes back on. I call them up and she asks if I can swing back by? I said “no” I’m almost home. Then proceeds to tell me he ran it for 2 hours. Well maybe if he would have got in the truck and actually drove it then he would have discovered it runs no different than when I took it in there!!!P.S. I’m writing this for my husband who is pretty ticked off right now.

Excellent service. I had made a few mistakes with getting exhaust problems fixed by backyard mechanics, then figured Id bite the bullet and pay for real mechanical work to be done. It turns out my biting the bullet was hiring the backyard mechanics because these guys fixed the problem in a matter of minutes and it cost less then what the backyard mechanic charged me.So in my opinion if you need any type of exhaust work done, dont hesitate and just bring it to these fine people.

I went in so they could check a small leak my transmission coolant line to the radiator they could not fix it but they did not charge me anything and referred me to another shop so I was pretty happy with

They have done several vehicles I have owned - they are always fast and reasonably priced. Starting with our 1988 BMW that needed new exhaust (saving us a bundle over the dealer). BUT here is really why I go there - they are the go to place for our collector cars. The latest one of mine is my 1958 F600 Firetruck; they installed all the pipe from 3 behind the manifold to the rear, including a huge muffler to quiet the 292 V8 (original engine). They have installed the exhaust systems on my sons 68 Mustang and 65 C10. I hate dealers and trust NO shops with my vehicles for any work; except these guys. They know how to weld and fit like no one else - the guys there always listen to my specific requests and do a great job. Our 63 C60 is next - or maybe a hitch for the F600 (I weld pretty good - these guys weld better)Thank you guys, again, for the great job on the firetruck in tucking up the exhaust and extra hangers!

We were going to take our car back for another issue it was having and they refused to give an estimate on a repair. While I fully understand that sometimes cost can vary due to unseen issues I asked for a quote for JUST the basic repair and parts so I would have a starting point since my family is on a really, really tight budget. He hemmed and hawed and talked his way around giving ANY price at all...he wouldnt even say the bare minimum price you could expect is...I have a family member out of state that is a mechanic. He told me that anyone that wont give a price on such a basic repair is shady and most likely looking for ways to rip you off. I will never do business there again. It is a shame there was a change in management since our first visit!

If i could give this place zero stars i would. I had my vehicle towed to this shop when it began billowing white smoke, my assumption was the head gasket was blown. They assured me block tested it and it was fine. My car overheated following this block test so i took it to another shop that confirmed the head gasket is blown. I called Kitsap break back and they proceeded to tell me that the head resealed and unsealed itself and that is went they did not detect the blown head. I felt as if that may be a load of bull, so i called the Chrysler jeep dealership and needless to say i was nearly laughed off the phone by kitsaps attempt to cover their poor diagnostics and work. Please think twice when selecting a shop to do your work.

Called and asked about a receiver hitch for my truck Brian quoted me 400+ dollars installed. Found the same exact hitch at Walmart for 139 dollars what a rip off.. I used to get all my muffler work done there ever since owners son took over princess have become way over inflated. You lost a 20 year loyal customer for life.........

Bought an exhaust part from them in a pinch. Ended up paying over three times more than I should of. If I had Done more research I would have known. My fault. That said Ill never recommend them to anyone.

I went in for an oil change which they did, they didnt check my air filter,it was dirty. I asked them to check my front brakes because I had heard a squeaky noise in the last few days. The mechanic looks through my tires and walked around my Rav 4 and told me I needed new front and rear brakes, new rotors, new calipers, and the cost would be $950. He wanted to make an appointment for the next day but I told him Id get back to him. I stopped by Heartland Toyota and got a brake check done. My rear brakes were fine, still with over 50 % life left. My front brakes were just getting to the point where they were going to need new brake pads. They had a special going on, so I paid $199. plus tax. I wont be going to Kitsap Muffler again, They have lost a customer.

The price was a decent quote, kind of on the high side but definitely not bad, the guy that I dealt with seemed nice enough and genuinely interested in performing his job and helping customers as a plus side.However thats not the case for most of their welders and other staff. Also their welding is not the greatest, I mean it looks like a kids work in spots then other spots look great and professional maybe different welders??The guys also like to visually point and laugh at cars or trucks they deem funny while most customers watch them do this, even if its not the customers vehicle its still very unprofessional.Ive also had welding done for me there several times and the welds never hold for very long so Ive moved to using a different welding service.In addition they also placed chrome tips on the pipes when I had asked for no chrome as Ive been attempting to get rid of the chrome on my truck, so Ill have to go back in just to have them weld different tips on hopefully they wont mind.UPDATE: So I did take the truck back, they fixed the tips and adjusted the tailpipe which was hitting a small mount for the Diff breather tube. Seemed to make the noise go away, however, when on trails its back which a vengeance and have yet to find time to take it back. I was going to increase the rating based on their reception of me and the fixes, however, since it is not fixed and I will have to go back in yet again I must leave the stars where they are.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Owner was very rude and cussed out my Dad. He kept interrupting what my dad was trying to say so my Dad simply tried to finish speaking and the owner told him to get out of his shop and cussed in his face, even with a teenage girl standing right there. This is absolute horrible customer service and don’t recommend anyone here.

Welded a straight pipe in my EVO 9. They are QUICK WITH QUALITY. Phenomenal job no exhaust leaks. Have had the exhaust for about 2 years and still holding strong. These guys also helped me with a bent intercooler pipe. Couldnt have asked for better. These guys are my guys to go to.

Got a muffler delete today, everything sounds great! Everyone there was really nice and honest about the pricing and it just felt like they wanted whats best for your car and for you as a customer.

I went hear with a friend who previously spent 890.00 on two mufflers 5 months ago and they said they would replace the entire exhaust system but they only patched the pipes witch came off.... My friend has been back 5 times for them to fix the problem and today I heard the manager tell him to leave the store ... Dont go hear!!!

77 Jeep CJ7, 304. 2 into 1 exhaust. A little more pricy than I was hoping for, but the product was worth it. Nice and tight, great welding, good hangers and a chrome tip to boot. Didnt really want the chrome tip, but it looks okay. I will continue to use Kitsap Muffler for the quality of their work.

Other muffler shops wanted to replace the entire exhaust for around $600. They just made a $50 repair in 30 minutes and I was on my way. Thanks for not trying to rip me off guys.

I own an 86 Chevy El Camino, and took it here, not knowing anything about these guys. New to the area, i didnt know where to go. Long story short, as a birthday present from my family, I took it to Kitsap Muffler. They provided great customer service, great prices and service. My mufflers were done in a very professional, pristine and noticable way. I am 100% pleased with the product and the service!! The flowmaster 40 series sound awesome thanks to Bryans Crew.

This place has turned to shiz in a hand basket and unfortunately the only way to give a review is a star. Well I take that star and give you a minus of 5 more for shite customer service review. Not only quoting 500 less than the sale, but then cut brake lines and said nothing. Quoted 150, paid 658. And cut the break lines without customer knowledge. Therefore this MINOR customer had to wait for the WORST FIX! Seriously, my 8 year old daughter has better customer service and brake line ability! I have the pics. They didnt even NOTICE the cut lines until my 16 year old son tried to leave. Unfortunately, he signed their paperwork. You live you learn. We learned that after 40+ years of living here, that the new owner is a douchewaffle. Who will screw people over for a few bucks. So yep, you lost the business of not one or two but many. Hope your dad is proud! SMDH
