Probably the best, biggest and cleanest planet fitness. Two levels gives a nice open feeling. I was just passing though and only trained once but a very nice facility for a Planet Fitness.

Great local gym to start a work out . The trainer there Ben is a great (free) way to start if you’ve never worked out on a gym before. He’s great full of knowledge and always has a happy personality

Its a nice gym, but the machines are really close to each other

I have been a member there for many years. I went today to workout. Most of the other people there were wearing facial coverings properly. But many were not. The staff used to walk around the club regularly to remind members to wear masks properly. But not today and not for weeks. I saw several men today pull down their masks as they descended the staircase and non chalalantly walk out the front door . The staff said nothing except goodbye. Many people working out pull down their facial covering to talk to others or on the phone. Others simply pull it up when staff walks by then pull it down when they turn their back. Isnt it time to ensure that all of us working out are safe and not being exposed to covid?

Always clean. I dont like gyms that have customers trying to look good or show off their body. This gym is very respectful and customers are very friendly. Love going to Branford location.

The equipment is old and worn out.The place smells like old sweat.Dust is covering vents and returns, possibly mold too.Seems like the owners really dont care at all.

Biggest and shiniest location Ive been to so far. Multiples of everything.

They have a policy where all gym members are required to wear a facial covering. Over several weeks, each time I have gone there to workout, Ive seen 5-9 people not wearing a mask properly exposing their nose or mouth or both. I do not feel safe going there.

Probably one of the most popular gyms in the area. The gym was recently sold - and Mike the manager will be there for about 2 more years. I just hope the new management keeps it as clean and updated as Mike has done for years. The air circulation is good and you can always find a breeze while you work out.(The Guilford branch is smaller, and less clean. The air circulation is fair at best.)

A very good place for a decent work-out. Well kept up by a very competent and friendly crew. The hours on the week-ends are short though.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Its some of the people that gross me out they sweat all over and dont clean up their mess . Very rude. They dont wash their hands after using the toilet Ive seen it several times they leave chewing gum on machines and dont put the weights back when theyre done working out I guess they figure someone else to do it for them then again very rude. Other than that its a good club and you can get a total body workout I love it there.

I was able to work out at the Branford Planet Fitness when I was in Clinton this past summer and fall. I enjoyed the experience. I found the locker rooms clean, and the equipment well maintained. The staff was helpful and personable. I spend the cooler weather in the south, where I also work out at a PF. Id recommend joining..even if there wasnt yummy pizza on Monday nights :-). (1st Monday of the month)

Spacious place to workout

Planet Fitness has a very relaxing atmosphere. Ive only just started, but the staff is friendly and very helpful. Im looking forward to getting in shape for Spring and summer and know Ill feel much healthier in 2017! I would definitely recommend the club to friends and family.

Ive been a member since September 2016. The gym is very clean and the staff are friendly. I usually go on the weekends between noon - 3 pm. Its usually not super busy at that time. Even when Ive gone during the busy times (after work/Mondays), there are plenty of equipment and machines available. Great value for the price!

The facility is always clean and well kept which is important to me. Also, there is a lot of equipment and a wide variety. During my morning workouts I never have to wait for a machine. For my needs it is a perfect facility and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Clean and not crowded

Im a black card member, and this is among the best Planet Fitness locations that Ive used. Its large, has a wide range of equipment, and the cardio and weight machines are generally newer and in good condition.

Generally no t to crowded and very cheap. The locker rooms are much better than I expected for 10$ a month. Know that theres also an annual fee (around 40$).

Its really fun to work out here. The selection of music they also make it even more fun. That have the most sophisticated facilities to play with.

Your affordable gym. No programs like group sessions and training come with a membership. Tanning and massage chair comes with the premium (black) membership. You can get training and group sessions from the clinic inside the gym but they operate separately from the gym.

Great place to workout. Mike and the staff our very helpful and friendly without being overly solicitous. Jaennice is a patient Instructor who really knows her stuff. The equipment is clean and well maintained.

I have been a PF member for almost 7 years and I totally like PF, inexpensive and very affordable. It has everything I need, equipment, TV, WiFI, water, shower, ... to keep myself active and in shape. I especially like the results of my workout which make me feel good. Staff are very friendly

Ive been a member of planet fitness in Branford for six years. I really enjoy working out there. The facilities are kept very clean and they have a wide variety of machines available for use. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the clientele is varied in terms of sizes, ages, and physical condition. I highly recommend Branford planet fitness.

Joined online a few days ago. Visited today to get a quick workout in and was greeted by a very pleasant, polite and cheerful desk attendant named Anthony. He was the only one, I believe, that was working today and he made me feel very welcome at this gym. Not all PFs are created equal. Yes they are a chain but you can tell the ownership that is truly invested by the people that he or she hires. Anthony explained everything to me and what the facility had to offer. I usually just wave off these types of intros because you can tell that the employee really just needs to say it per policy. But Anthony really came across as if he wanted you to have a great experience. Whenever I happened to glance over at the desk he was either helping a member or surveying the facility. The facility was extremely clean and the locker room(Mens) was as well. The atmosphere is open and airy and does not leave you feeling like you do not have space to workout. This is a second gym for me for some general training and I will be here until I decide to move or when if ownership/management stops caring about the place. If you are looking for a PF with a great selection of equipment and dumbbells that go up to 80, this is the place. It is not selfie central and the clientele seems to be on the older side so it doesnt seem to have any riff-raff. Great service, a clean facility and a large selection of equipment make for a great gym and this place has it.

The Branford Planet Fitness is a hidden treasure in CT. The gym has an attractive appearance with its open floor plan and big beautiful windows when you walk in. The staff greets every member with a smile and will go out of their way to help you. The locker rooms have showers and private changing rooms. There are enough cardio machines so you never have to wait for one. I love this gym!

Aside from the hordes of people showing up to try a new year new me routine, this gym is very clean. The only gripe I have is the mats for core workouts can be replaced, but otherwise everything else is great!

Too crowded. A 45 min workout takes close to 3 hrs. Best bet is going in at 5 am.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Owner takes personal pride in this facility and is often seen on the floor cleaning up.

Would be nice if they offered wifi so we can follow workout app or videos while at the gym.
