Went through the touch-free car wash. Price was different on the machine vs. the sign on the wall of the building, but no biggie. Picked the gold wash. The sensors seemed off and kept telling me to pull forward, stop, pull forward, stop, back up, pull forward...over and over before wash started. After wash, despite going through the dryer super slowly my car was still dripping wet. I got out to towel dry it myself and noticed the passenger side of the car was still covered in soap suds and the front end/bumper/lights and tires were still completely filthy. Would not recommend and will not return.

Went there this morning and paid 16.00 for the wash. Half way through the dryer came on when my car was covered with the colored foam. I had to pull out and go to the self serve and pay another 5.00 to wash off the foam. This car wash is not maintained and the wash has had issues in the past. I wouldnt suggest going to this wash I wont be in the future. Poorly maintained and your car could get damaged.

Typical 24hour car wash with 2 touch less, soft brush or self serve options for washing. They have vacuum bays to self detail as well. Always clean facility and well lit at night. I feel safe anytime i come here and and when I recently had a technical issue with soft wash bay, just email the one posted and the owner will respond immediately! I recommend this location hands down! When you need a quality self service car wash here’s your spot!

Ripped off. There was no foam or solvent of any kind. When I approached the attendant he threatened my life and called me every obscenity in the book telling me to get the hell out of I could make it out after initially lying to me. No refund just an attack of obscenities and threats

For the price I would expect a clean car and nothing left on the car after washing. I clean my truck weekly and the pressure from this wash did not seem to be enought.

Best car wash along the shoreline. We use touchless every time and the pressure and soap used makes the care one out perfectly! Highly recommended! For touchless they say 5 minutes per-car in case you find yourself looking at lines.

The touch-free car wash is fine. The so-called soft-touch wash ripped off my back windshield wiper apparatus which had to be completely replaced.

Make sure you use a card it just eats any money you put in. Theres no one to complain to.

I Googled a drive through carwash & this one came up. It was my 1st time using this car wash & the guys were really nice & moved it along very fast. Nice job.

Slow. One or more washing bays always broken. Come if you have 30 to 45 min to spare for a drive through car wash.

Stay far, far away from this car wash. I have been here many times but have finally had enough with this place and will NOT be returning. The touch-less car wash stopped working halfway through the wash and left my car covered in soap. The self-service bays credit card readers overcharge you even if the swipe appears to be unsuccessful. The car vacuums are ancient, dont work well, and eat your money. Lastly, the business does not respond to calls or emails and will not make any issues right. Dont waste your time and money here.

I usually always come to this car wash but I am so upset right now. My boyfriend has a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV and the “soft touch” car wash RIPPED HIS BACK WINDSHIELD WIPER OFF. We had to go back and get it, completely destroyed. We will have to replace it now. Waste of time, I am through with this car wash. Very upset

For a quick, reasonable priced exterior car wash this place is great. A few options but could use a little updating.

My daughter takes her car to this wash despite the fact that it is on the opposite side of town with several options in between. I personally was disappointed. I have a black car. I paid for the highest level but it did not leave my car remotely sparkling clean. I will gladly go back to Branford Car Wash.

I wash my car like once or twice a month. When I went last week the top spinner brush was not working so I contacted the owner by email. He got back to me promptly and gave me a rewash (upgraded) and all better. Just be sure to tell the type of car, plate number, and what was wrong with the wash.

Great touch less car wash

I am not one to write a bad a review, we all have off days. However, Ive had issues TWICE at this carwash that were unresolved and ignored. Not a single response from the owners via phone or email. One included a wiper being ripped off in the wash! The second was a wash that did not complete its cycle.

These guys do amazing detailing. Not cheap but its its worth. The interior was really messed up (two children in the back seats) and it was excellently cleaned. If you want detailing you should make an appointment bc it takes a while.

Overall it’s decent, but don’t expect to get a bargain for washing your own car. Although you can technically put in as little as $5 to get 8:20 of wash time, that amount of time flies by and even if you’re washing as fast as you can, I promise you’ll never finish that quickly. To make things worse, there is a good 20-30 second delay when you switch the controls from one function to the next (i.e. switching from soap to clean water). There are 11 function choices, and even if you use only some of those, the transitions eat up a lot of your time. The credit card reader is also very finicky. The part where you swipe your card is a weird curve, which I have never seen anywhere else. I’m assuming that’s why it only works 15% of the time and you have to keep swiping over and over until it works. Bottom line? I’d suggest spending your money at a full service wash - chances are, it will cost about the same. I will say that it can be fun to wash your own car, so if you enjoy that aspect, this will work nicely.

Worst possible construction of a drive thru parking lot. If you don’t know there is a line behind the building, you get stuck waiting for everyone to go through because you can’t back out with cars behind you and there is no “go around”. Ridiculous amount of time wasted because you can’t get out.

The touchless machine was out of oder when washing my car. It does not rinse after soaking yet I had paid cash $10.75 for it. No one was there to help. Then I used credit card & billed me $5.0 for just power wash water rinse off the soak. No dry air cleaning as the bills may go up and up. Very frustrating for first time car washing there. And my car is still dirty because only soaking and rinse off on my own. No brushing to clean it. Took me j10 mintues waiting and realized it was out of order...and rinse off making my clothing wet.

Been going few years. Owner is to friendly. I just pt debit card in. It started at 13 minutes and ended at 20! It charged me $12.25!!!! For only 7 minutes totally! Email for complaints doesn’t work! Never enough soup in the lines! Use to be a good car wash brand new few years back, but it’s gone down hill a lot! Very unhappy! I drive to the one in Westbrook! Excellent do it your self wash!

The top brush on the soft touch wash bay wasnt working and I couldnt find anyone to report it. This the wash job was poor

This place overcharges.You put your credit card in and despite you making sure you are under the time limit it charges you more that the listed price.

I go there for a contact free wash and it works great on a new car leaving it spotless. Had no problems with using credit card. Its fast and very convenient.

Vac Machines dont work well. Tried 2 different vacs and they wouldnt take my bills....went elsewhere in this visit. Ive been previously and the bays worked okay

Not a bad wash

Its a self service car wash with several bays, thats a Plus. And also has vacuums for interior cleaning . But the Cons: I find there have many times where its confusing to use the wash-it - yourself bays. Be sure to check the instructions carefully before you start since youre on a timer which goes by very quickly. I washed it in the Soft Touch bay a few days ago and the dryer stop working after 10 seconds. How do you find help? Very difficult.

Prices do not match the signs when you are paying for a service. I paid for the Platinum touch free wash and the machine did not do every step I paid for. The dryers also barely work at the end.

Good car wash, they always have good brushes on the wash, its not like others that have beat up ripped brushes that never been changed..

Everything works great! The foam brush seems to be made of soft natural fiber or animal hair. Rinse and air blower both have very strong pressure.

Clean, modern and lots of bays. Has DIY, brush and brushless. Missing the 5th star because it can often be a long line (not their fault) at the automated washes and the change machine is usually out of order (although most stations take bills & cc)... Im still a regular and would recommend.

I use this car wash atleasat 3 times a month and my last 2 visits were disappointing.One of the visit was very cold, so I was willing to give it a pass but just this evening 2 of the products didnt dispense. For a few more dollars, I can have it vacuumed wiped down inside and out and have my tires armoralled.I just dont like wait . Guess I will have to get used to waiting if this happens one more time.

Vaccuum ate my .75 so Ill be buying a car wash elsewhere! Website listed at location no longer exists. Gumball-machine level malfunction profits? I put .50 in and turned to get a 3rd quarter and it only recognized the last .25. I know its only .75 but come on.

The first bay took my credit card said approved but did not start up (no time was running) so I hit OFF just in case and went to bay 2. There it worked and I got charged $9.25. Now I check my credit card statement and they actually charged me $19.25. Probably from the not working bay?! Do not go there... but if you do only use cash!

Great spot to handwash your car or use the automatic car wash. prices for machines are fair. Could use a better carpet cleaning system. It overall a clean car wash to get your vehicle cleaned up.

Took my less than a week old Honda Pilot here for the platinum wash. Didnt really need it, and it was going to rain later in the week, but when you have a brand-new car....Well, I know its probably not physically possible, but the car came out dirtier than it went in. Didnt clean the rear tailgate at all. Didnt rinse after any of the cycles, at least it didnt remove it well. I suppose I should be grateful that the soap/clean cycle was watered down. Otherwise, Id have soap streaks. Never again.

One star only because it makes me. Worse car wash I have ever been to, they give you less minutes then you pay for (time it) and use the cheapest materials. I had issue with dings, owner slow/to no response and when I went there he told me not to worry about the dings I had other scratches. I have heard stories about this place but gave him a fair chance to prove the stories wrong and he did not. Too bad, this place will not last in Branford.

Horrible customer service. It was cold out and got car washed which froze completely. went back next day and owner said had sign posted which wasnt there when I went thru.Very smug.. wouldnt refund money or respond to any emails including previous ones I sent.I only regret that I swore at him when his son was around the corner but I am sure it wasnt anything the teenager hadnt heard before.I will try ANYWHERE else but here in the future.

DO NOT use your credit card at this place. For a 3 minute self service wash my card was charged over $14.00.. Strongly suggest you bring cash for the wash ($4.00) and quarters for the vacs as the those bill readers dont seem to work either.

Every time I come to this car wash there is always something broken wands spray u and u get soaked the bays are filty with filth u wash ur car it clean then u track mud in on ur clean floor last time I was here I put $7.00 in the machine to wash my car it never turned on asked the owner he said come back later never refunded my money customer service gets a 0 as well I advise if u want to go to get soaked track mud and pay double to wash ur car go here. Just go anywhere but here. BEWARE

Ive been here 3 times and will never go back. Auto wash worked poorly on my truck. The spray and wash barely puts out any soap. The last time I was there it charged me $14.25 instead of $4.25.Go elsewhere.
