I went in on 2 separate occasions and was helped by June and Leah. Let me just say these ladies go above and beyond with customer service! They are both very compassionate, kind and hardworking women! I would highly recommend this location! Thank you ladies for everything!
A female staff was quick to sell me a ring for which I paid several hundred dollars, while addressing me with pet names rather than business address. She said the jewelry would be in, in appx 1 month. Six weeks later, store staff appeared to be hanging up when the store was called. Other staff said staff are not to hang up, but do take the phone off the hook. After contacting corporate, I was told the ring had arrived more than a week prior and staff made no contact. Having said that, a European male staff used very professional business communication and assisted me to get my pre-paid ring. Probably, I wouldnt use this store again. I had been shopping at Kay Jewelers for decades, at other locations where I had resided.

I went to have my ringer cleaned and was told that I wasnt in their system. But Carl took care of the situation immediately. It kept me calm and assured me everything would be fine. It took a few minutes for him to find my info from another Kay.I am very satisfied!!

Leah went above and beyond for me to make things right! I had issues with a piece of jewelry that was not getting resolved by other employees and even other locations. She was understanding even through my frustrating moments and took care of it, making things right like it should have been done in the beginning. I had I known about her from the start I wouldnt have dealt with anyone else! I cant thank her enough!
Forgot to get the guys name who took care of us as I plan on getting it today when I pick up my order. He was very ignorant and sarcastic and instead of making us feel welcomed and happy about our ceremonies to come he criticized us on ordering online and made a comment and said oh we dont go in the store anymore we order stuff from online now and at first we chuckled and I stated to him that we didnt see anything we liked at their store so we did find something online and we actually already knew our sizes ...he then just keeps making comments that had me walk away from giving him a few unpleasant words.... the environment that day on the whole store was just off and I usually never ever have a problem with the other staff they werent as pleasant as they should of been.
I went to Kays Jewelers today and was greeted professionally and safely by Carl. My goal (its been kind of a dream, actually) was to get my gold Figaro necklace fixed, then modified using another gold necklaces nameplate. Carl saw the Figaro necklace and explained it wasnt a difficult fix. I showed him the nameplate and explained what I wanted to do. Again, Carl said it was not a problem to accomplish my goal. Then Carl asked me an odd question: How sentimental are these necklaces to you? Surprised at his question, I told him they happen to be unbelievably sentimental to me, and I gave a brief explanation why. Carl then told me hed love to accomplish my goal however they send their jewelry repairs offsite and hed be devastated to have to look me in the eyes and tell me my precious necklaces were gone forever. Carl then gently packaged my broken Figaro up in a baggie for me and I put the nameplate necklace back on. Carl chose my feelings over commission and money for the company and what to him and everyone else is just necklaces. I will forever buy all of my jewelry and encourage others to purchase theirs at this location. Make sure to ask for Carl.
They have entrances blocked to help with social distancing, masks and gloves if touching personal jewelry. I had several pieces to clean and a repair. The woman took her time even though there were valentine gift customers making purchases. Best service I had had in a while. The other associates were very friendly.

Although they have a great selection on jewelry, the customer service is horrible. I have been calling them since 12-29-2020. It is now 01-05-2021 and I had to go to the store for an answer for my order I placed online on 12-08-2020. I would not order or visit this location again. I called customer service and was also informed me that she called and they didnt answer either. Customer service sucks. Highly disappointed.

I was a private in the Army when I asked my wife to marry me and we didn’t have much money to buy a ring. Over the years we saved and upgraded to a what we considered to be the perfect wedding set.My wife works and when she cleans the house she takes off her ring to protect it. While at work the ring would snag on her latex gloves so she would take the ring off. During one of these events she lost her wedding set and cried for days. We searched and searched to no avail.We eventually we went to Kay to see what we could do to try and replace what she had. We were very limited on funds and it was a very EMOTIONAL event. That is when we met Carl. Carl was so kind. He reminded us of what was important and took the time to speak with us and research what was possible. He went far beyond what is required and made every attempt to help us. He did manage to help us find a wedding set that fit into our budget. I had a really great experience thanks to Leah, the manager of the store. She was more than helpful and really took her time to help me the best she could. She was well informed and was able to answer all the questions I had. Leah let me take my time looking and asking questions and didnt rush me at all. She was very helpful in assisting me make my jewelry choice, and was honest in her opinions in the pieces I picked out. I would absolutely recommend going in to see Leah and her staff.

Please do not trust the people at this store. A friend of mine had a ring sent out to be sized and when her 2 carat solitaire came back her diamond had been switched. They denied that it had been but she had documentation of the quality of the stone. They did nothing.... Stay away!!

I go to this location, even though I live in Riverview, because the staff in Riverview are rude!Today it seemed like the Brandon location had a fill in manager and new employees. They were all very friendly and the manager did an awesome job of encouraging and praising the new male employee. It was very refreshing to see and hear.
We had the most blessed experience at Kay’s in Brandon. My original wedding band had been damaged and Kay’s stood by their name to completely replace my ring. Leah at Brandon Kay’s way so patient with me and helped me pick out the ring of my dreams. I arrived with four children in toe, yet Leah was so kind to help me in any way that she she. I came to this store before and it was terrible managing but today i visited and it was great, they had new faces and people with way more experience working there now and Leah the new manager was such a great help in helping me decide on some decisions i needed to make and if you didn’t want something she didn’t get upset having to show so many other items she was willing to make sure we went home with the item i wanted because she said it her self it’s my money being spent i have to like what i wear.

Ashley at the Brandon mall was the most AMAZING jewelry person I have ever seen! She treated my 8yr old daughter like she was spending a million dollars! The level of dedication and attention is beyond anything I wouldve expected.
I am giving this place one star because I can’t give it zero. Specifically because of Carl the manager. His employee lost a big diamond out of my engagement ring In front of him and his response was that he was going to lunch and would find the diamond after lunch, they told me I would have my ring back in 8 weeks But then corporate told me 90 days or more.... that was months ago and I didn’t even have my ring for my wedding and he refused to help, said he would keep in contact and never did. To this day all I got was an email AFTER my wedding saying my original ring was ready but still haven’t heard from him. He is incompetent and insensitive and does not deserve that job. The assistant manager June was very helpful though!
Dropped off a ring to have it resized. Was told we would get it back and it timely manner it took them over two weeks to get it back. Was quoted one Price charged doubled that price. and when I called to see if they had my ring in because they told me I would get a call and an email, which I got neither. They said they think its in the box somewhere they just dont know where right now. If I spend that kind of money on a ring I want it to be taken care of better than I dont know where it is. Not too happy with this location. Ring does fit great and looks pretty. But customer service was not on point.
Purchased a ring from this location, got what I thought was a great deal on it only to come find out it is not real gold as that is what was advertised. Tried selling the ring and was only offered $15 as I was charged almost $300 for it when I purchased it from Kay. They are overcharging for the jewelry that they have on display and it seems like it isn’t even real. Never buying jewelry from here again.
Tried to go here this week store was closed and didnt answer phones. They are servicing people by appointment only. Pathetic and inconvenient. Let people walk in, like other businesses are doing. People wear masks to help stop the spread.

Kay Jeweler has been our go to jeweler for years but my most recent experience with Leah has reinforced that they will remain our go to for years to come! Leah is very professional, carefully answered all my questions, offered input when I asked, and was so patient, not to mention that she has a plethora of knowledge with her time in the jeweler industry. When I had damaged one of the prongs on my engagement ring, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me get it resolved even though the ring is no longer made. She gave me several options to choose from including going to Neil Lane themselves to get a duplicate ring remade even though it was discontinued years ago. She absolutely will do everything to commit to her customers and make sure they are more than satisfied. Thank you Leah for making the impossible happen! I will forever return to Kay Jeweler due to the excellent customer service Ive always gotten, but particularly because of this recent experience with Leah!

Ive been shopping at Kays for years!!!! From birthday gift to items for special occasions. I felt the need to finally leave a review after I met June! I live in Lake Alfred and was shopping at the Kays closers to my house. I was getting the final band for my wifes Neil Lane wedding set for our anniversary. Long story short, the Kays I went to originally could not get the right band for my wifes ring. She was so excited to wear her complete set but for whatever reason each ring the ordered did not match her ring. (Went through 3 rings). The staff was extremely helpful and empathic so in no way do I want the perception that they did anything wrong. But it was a little frustrating having to go back and forth to the store to exchange rings. I went down to Tampa where I often buy pieces for my mom because they live down that way. June was my lifesaver. June to full ownership of hunting down my wifes ring, special ordered it and verified that I was the correct ring before having us drive all the way back just to find out the ring wouldnt work. This is the kind of service that keeps me loyal to Kays!!!!! The actual ring that matched my wifes band was more expensive than the multiple other that were purchased. June and her awesome store manager matched the price I paid for the last band. Customers service at its finest!!!!!! June will have a customer for life and all my friends and family will be referred to her and that Kays location.If I can make a suggestion to Kay as a company. The profiles that we have as customers. Have it save things like item #s receipt and additional items that would pair with items already owned. I feel if the employees had the right resources from the beginning my wife would have been able to enjoy the surprise of her ring!!! Just to have a picture of the items I purchased is a little pointless. But I really hope something special is done to recognize June and her store manager!!! They are the ones who saved this customer!!!!!
My fiance and I went in about a month ago to look for a bridal ring set and the sales associates, Maria and Sherri, gave me exceptional service! Today theyre having a sale and I got my set at a great discounted price! I plan to buy jewlery from here in the future! This Kay got a new manager about a year ago and staff has changed. Feels welcoming too!

I understand that the store has a new manager. Since she has been there Ive noticed a HUGE difference, I have never been happier with buying jewelry. Their staff is knowledgable, friendly, and they helped me find exactly what wanted! I didnt know it, but they showed me that they can even make custom pieces if I wanted something unique. I will definitely be going to this Kay for everything in the future.

I have a bracelet that I have had for many years now I have had it in for repair for the same thing several times now .The clasp is loose to the point were it will just fall off. Now I know the warranty does not cover if it gets lost . But when you have stated you fixed it more then 3 times something is wrong. Yesterday I went to pick it up again .The lady was so not helpful . She herself put it on and saw that it was loose . She spread it a little with her nail and then told me to listen to it snap close and that she made a small adjustment and could teach me . Teach me to repair a bracket that was just repaired. I said that what they just fixed . I then signed that I received my bracelet and was leaving with my copy she told me she needed it back to prove it was picked up .Hum why did I sign I picked it up if she wanted my copy back . I keep all my repairs for record to show how many times the same thing has been repaired because if I loose this bracelet because they are not doing the repair correctly . She then asked to see my license now I have never had to do that either. the only time the sales rep are nice is when they want to sell you something they sell the warranty but hate when you come in and only want to use it . I believe that they need to fix it correctly or replace it I should not have it in repair ever few months for the same thing

I purchase my wedding Ring at this place and a small dimond fall off, we went to get it replace and we ware inform that the warranty is only valid if we visit the location for inspection every 6 month to make sure all dimond s are solid attached to the ring, I guess a 4800.00 dollar ring I purchase has a low craftsmanship, for a large retailer like this is a shame they do this especially when they informed customers after they have the stone fall of, I dont go to my doctor 2 times a year unless I have a reason for, I guess if you buy there you are force to visit them every 6 month to make sure the jewelry dont fall apart.Advise buy elsewhere, where they are sure of what they sell.
Horrible customer service. I visited this store to get my ring inspected and to order my mom a pair of earrings. When I walked in the women behind the counter gave me a look that could kill. She said what do you want? Im like really? I said I need to have my ring inspected. She took my ring and said that I didnt purchase the ring from K. I said maam look up my husbands account this is only place we buy jewelery . She refused saying she knows her inventory. Obviously not. Any who I took my ring and left.This was the worst customer service ever.
DONT BUY FROM KAY!After buying an engagement ring in December, and being told it would be in 2 weeks later, I was finally able to get the ring in April. The new ring has a yellow tint and is no where near worth what I had paid. Looking to return the ring I am told it is past the 90 days I had purchased it. The day the ring arrives makes no difference and I am now stuck with it. If you think this is a one time thing look up the hundreds more horror stories online. Dont buy from kay.
I am more of an in hand cash kind of guy; so when it comes to buying something on line I can be a bit clueless as to the workings of some sites. Having difficulty makeing a purchase for sapphire earrings for my wife from Kays website useing my Kay card and credit card. I went back to the store to ask for advice and help to properly place my order. Maria at Westfield mall in Brandon helped me with the matter and completely filled out the information online and had some of the same issues I had but the order was completely taken care of and is on its way. Despite the hassle she went above and beyond my expectation to make sure all was taken care of on my order. I was very pleased with her service. This I why I shop at Kay. Thank you Maria.
I thought it was me! The saleswoman was cleaning her own watch and I asked if I could have my diamond wedding ring and band done. She said well I was only just cleaning mine but i guess. I told her I had purchased the rings from Kay. The reason I went in was to purchase the customer appreciation gifts as Christmas gifts for my friends and family. The condesending looks I got almost made me change my mind. I told her I had also received a $50 off coupon and would have to bring my husband back later. The fake smile, the dirty looks. .. I almost didnt come back but i really wanted the rose gold heart. My heart fell when I was again waited by the same rude lady. Corporate should really take a look this store and secret shop them to see how they are damaging Kay Jeweler reputation.
Maria at the Kay Jewlers in Brandon was amazing..she helped my fiancée and I pick out rings..helped with sending out the ring for sizing and engraving..called and kept us updated on the arrival and where in the process the ring was...the customer service we received was amazing...:)
