UPDATE:Branden Parker (the GM) and the service manager took this as serious as I had hoped for. They came and picked up my car, gave me a loaner and fixed/checked everything that was on my list. Every company has a few bad apples but this past week Ive learned not to paint an entire company because of a few.I will continue to use Gray DanielsRefused to change my oil but put a new sticker on my windshield saying it was, got oil/grease all over my seats, scratched my dashboard, door panel has a gap now, water got inside when they washed it so it’s a wet inside, didn’t fix my tire pressure issue, oh and they drove my car around for 45 min smoking in my car. Never again will I go to this place.
My buying experience with GD was a great and simple one. Mr Levorn Daniels made everything easy and worked with me the entire step. I’m enjoying my 2022 Camry so far. The only issue I’ve had is not receiving all cords in the Connectivity package, but hopefully Mr Daniels or Mr Miller will get that too me ASAP!!!

I do not recommend Gray-Daniels Toyota at all. We bought a car from them in 2019 and have been coming to service appointments. Today after waiting 10 minutes in service area, the rudest lady came out and told us they didn’t do service appointments at 7:30am and with an attitude said to come back at 12. That they couldn’t fit us in until then. That could’ve been communicated in a much more professional manner. Needless to say if this is the how you treat your customers we will not be back. Don’t have 7:30 on your website if you don’t do service at that time.
People I dealt with were knowledgeable and pleasant. I didn’t feel pressured and I wasn’t made to feel like I was bothering them. I was able to look at all the models I was interested in. Lucky was my salesperson and she answered all of my questions about each vehicle and did not push one over the other so I made my own decision. I would recommend Gray Daniel’s to everyone. Had multiple general maintenance items to be completed. The Service Advisor, James, wrote my ticket up and put my vehicle in line for those services even though I was early. The Technician, Jacob and advisor, James kept me updated every step of the way. The work was completed efficiently and I would definitely recommend Gray Daniels Toyota to anyone.

Recently we bought a 4runner for my wife here, from Felix. He was extremely helpful in discussing the vehicle with her. She felt listened to about her concerns on comfort as she has had spinal surgery and the seats are a major concern. The dealership was straight forward and honest in their dealings and in general much better than our previous experience with our local Meridian, MS Toyota Dealer (who will remain un-named but a Google search is easy). Buy from these folks if you are in the market, even if you have to drive a bit as we did.

Most recently, Douglas Chambers has been my Service Rep for my last two trips. Hes been a great help, is very professional and does a good job communicating on the status of my repairs.
Outstanding customer service. I have been on a long journey searching for a Toyota Tundra 4x4. I went as far as Meridian to find one but no luck. I was interested in the Limited trim model but was open to 1794 and Platinum trims. When my family and I arrived to the lot, we drove around to see what Tundras were in the lot, we did not see any so we proceeded to walk to the entrance and was greeted immediately by a worker who was already headed to another customer to test drive a vehicle. I was forwarded to the next available staff member. She was very polite and courteous. I then mentioned that I had put in an inquiry via toyota.com and showed her the email from a Mr. William Willie Thornton, she proceeded to escort us to Mr. Willie and he took care of us. There was no Limited trims in stock in the lot but there was one 1794 trim. I fell in love with it instantly after I test drove it with Mr. Willie. He has been with Toyota for over 30 years, he recognized my father being a fellow veteran and I also informed him of me currently serving in the Army. We proceeded with the decision on what I wanted to purchase, added up the costs, discounts, and rebates. Any question we had he was very knowledgeable about the Tundra and other vehicles we inquired about the Supra, Tacoma, and 4 Runner. Mr. Willie was straight forward, no gimmicks, no tricks. He gave it to us straight and even went old school by writing out everything to show there were nothing hidden. Im sure there are other great salesmen there but Mr. Willie went above and beyond to make sure I was purchasing the right Tundra. Highly Recommend Mr. William Thornton.

Ive been looking to purchase a vehicle for a while now. My husband saw what I wanted here. We went out to look at the car and while other were looking as well. We could see two associates on a golf cart watching us view cars on our own but did not approach us. We decided to go into the building and find someone who would help after waiting almost 30-40 min to be acknowledged. When theassociates saw we were entering the building they then tried to assist us. I decided to go with the eager to help associate inside the building, Yolanda. She was amazing, new but amazing. The guy in finance was nice and informative as well. He was friendly and helped me feel as though we had made the right decision. Waited another hr and a half as they said the car was being detailed. This was a complete lie. The car was disgusting. Pedicure sandals, candy, markers, cards, old jewelry, crumbs of every kind were all over this car not to mention dog hair Ive been trying to get out for 2 weeks now. They even put down the plastic paper for your feet as though they had cleaned it. The vehicle was disgusting and for us to still be in the middle of a Pandemic I expected so much more from such a large name company. Touching the console was sticky. I mean the car was disgusting! I came home and began to clean my car on my own and as I stated Im still cleaning the mess from the previous owner now 2 weeks later. It took a little joy out of buying the new car. I would hate to feel as though we were treated less than because of who we are however I have never heard of Gray Daniels being this way. I still have sticky gummy candy stuck in the grooves of the car that Ill have to find a detail shop to remove. Disappointed to say the least! But I do love my new vehicle.
Bait and switch! I completed an inquiry online for a specific vehicle and got a call shortly after from Kourtney. She stated well, lets schedule a time for you to come in and see that vehicle. So we scheduled a time for the weekend. We had been talking on and off ALL week so of course we were under the impression this vehicle was available. Kourtney even asked me to complete a credit application for the vehicle, so the process would go more smoothly when we arrived, since we were coming over an hour away. My husband and I drove from Hattiesburg expecting to get this vehicle, or look at another. Well after the credit pull/HARD INQUIRY, she says, well we actually dont have any of the vehicles we discussed available. We dont have any of the inventory listed on the website. We may have some coming in, but we dont expect the one you were interested in any time soon. But you could put down a nonrefundable $1,000 deposit JUST IN CASE WE GET IT IN, so we can hold it. Maybe she gets commission if a customers credit is pulled, idk. I know car salesman can be shady but goodness, that was a very dirty thing to do. She not only knew how far we were coming but also had us doing a credit application on a vehicle that wasnt even there! So we drove that far for nothing, and walked away with nothing but two points down on our credit scores. I wont be doing business here and I wont be recommending anyone else to.

My car was damaged during a service, Gray Daniel agreed to fix it, but when I made arrangement to bring it in and get a rental: there was no rental nor did I get a call from the service advisor. I called him three times on that day to make sure everything was a go, I never got a return call, I asked to speak with a service manager, again no call returned. I drove 45 minutes to Brandon to talk to the James Allbritton face to face. I have been doing business with Gray Daniels for six years and this was the worse service I have ever received.
They are awesome. It was my birthday when I came. My very first financed car and they were able to get me rolling. Took their time with me while I contemplated decisions. I thank them for that!
I personally would not purchase a vehicle from them again. We picked our vehicle out online after researching it. Then we decided we wanted it after a test drive. Super easy sale. When we got to the financing, there were not a lot of things explained to us which leads me to believe that they do whatever they want to just get you to sign the papers. A $12,600 car turned into a $21,000 car and our interest rate isn’t even super high. I really feel like we were taken advantage of as first time buyers. A lot of things were presented to us in a dishonest way. It’s really difficult to get in touch with anyone there, much less a manager. They all put you off on “the next person” when they realize you have an issue. At this point, it’s too late. We do love the car. I just wish that we could have purchased this from a dealership with more integrity.

Service was fast, friendly & professional. I’ve never had a bad experience getting service at this location. The only thing negative I have to say, is they have no services that will give you an option to clean your vehicle as others in the area do. It would be nice if they partnered with a car wash (right down the road from them) for a coupon to compensate for the lack of cleaning services.

I had a great experience with the sales staff at Gray-Daniels Toyota. I went in without much hope of being able to find the Tacoma that I wanted at the right price. They had several trucks there that either didnt have the options that I wanted, or had more than I wanted at a price point that was more than I wanted to spend. Instead of trying to push a sale on a vehicle that they already had in stock, Robby took the time to figure out what I wanted in my new truck. He then found one that matched what I wanted perfectly. Just got an oil change and tire rotation. They did a great job. Ive tried those quick places, but they dont always have quality people and have damaged my vehicles. Sometimes theyre a little slow, but they do a good job.
For my last service I was assigned to L.T. I LOVED her, so when I scheduled my next appt . For Wed. 8/4/21, 9:00 a.m., I asked that she be my service coordinator. When I arrived, she was SUPER BUSY - ( understandable) and there were at least 6 cars if not more in front of me. All good. After at least 1 hour and 15 minutes, I noticed my car parked to the side. There were multiple customers ahead of me which was fine. HOWEVER after TWO HOURS, I finally just assumed they had not gotten to me - still not upset, NOT AT ALL….. !!! At that point I did not have any more time to spend there- so I went to the front desk and asked the girl to please check on the status. She said “ I have no idea, this is my 3rd day and she’s doing the best she can”. This was said in front of another customer ( last name Gibson) so I immediately went into the office of the gentleman that checked me in and politely asked if he could find out the status. He said that my car had been serviced ( had been sitting there for almost an hour with no notification) Fine. In the meantime he checked with L.T. - she said she had come and called my name twice, which was a lie - I was sitting with other customers RIGHT in front of the TV - and when any name was called we ALL turned and listened . I WAS NEVER CALLED. The gentleman ( NOT LARAVEN). Gave me my bill. 😡I won’t be back. I will get my 2021 Highlander serviced while I’m in Birmingham, from now on.Good for the gentleman that was helpful- he at least Ed waived the $89.95 charge for the tire balancing

I’ve serviced my 2020 camry here every time since I bought it last year, but only because of the convenience of the location. The customer service in this service department is HORRENDOUS. The only upside to this visit was I only waited a little over an hour. I think I’ll just drive on up to Herrin Gear from now on. :(

Purchased a 2015 Kia Optima from them on May 15, 2021. All the financing and stuff was handled through the bank. I had to call them a few times to get my title sent over to the bank. After getting that handled, I go to get my tag and I can’t because there is a title application open on the vehicle from January. So after contacting the sales rep (Ryan) over and over with no information, I asked to speak to a manager who sent me to the financing department. Justin in financing said they had to file a lost title and I should be situated by the next week. Well here we are, one month (almost two), and I still have not been able to purchase my tag. I have called numerous times and I still have not received a call back or any additional information from the dealership. I even called the DMV and they couldn’t assist because my information is not in the system associated with the vehicle. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from them. Once they have your money, they are no longer assisting you with your needs. A one star is being generous.

Very disappointed! Probably ok if you just want to pay with a major credit card but if you drive a car owned by a fleet company, go somewhere else. Service rep was not interested in learning how to use the Enterprise Maintenance card and opted to not give me the oil change even after I requested it at 6000 miles. Took the car, rotated the tires and called me to tell me the car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up said I didn’t need an oil change until 10,000 miles. Now I have to find another day to take my car in for the oil change.I also can’t get a formal quote to have a tow package installed. You would think that a dealership this big would know how to write out a formal quote.I was looking forward to having Gray-Daniels Toyota provide all of my service on this vehicle because it is in a great location for me. I will look elsewhere.

EDIT: NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. You can see the owners comments below saying someone would be in touch. It appears this attempt to smooth things over was entirely self-serving and only to give the impression to readers that this was an isolated incident.TL;DR: I got lied to about what was necessary, and paid for work I didnt actually need. Two expensive trips to Gray Daniels Toyota later, and my car still isnt fixed.First, the good. I found the account manager to be disarming and overall a decent person to work with. Also, the speed in which the shop performed the (supposed) repairs was second to none. I had my vehicle back in lightning fast times. Thats what earned them the extra star.And now that that is out of the way:I brought my used Prius to the service center because it has an overheating issue. We have replaced two parts ourselves, but suspected the water pump to be the issue. Our own cheap-o diagnostic tool pointed us in that direction.When I was dropping it off, I mentioned that the A/C was not working. The account manager (AM) called me very quickly to tell me good news! The check engine code is JUST the air conditioner! Only $635, and the codes are fixed AND I get A/C again? Yes, please!Oh, yeah, that was too good to be true. Despite the AMs assurances that the tech test drove the car (you bet I had to ask), The check engine light AND the red warning triangle were blaring at me by the time I finished my in-town errands. I checked the codes. Same code. Thats the ONLY code weve seen for weeks. We just dont have a $10,000 computer that can properly decipher it.So I guess it had nothing to do with the A/C condenser??As I was trying to explain to the AM that I really kind of spent most of my car repair budget, that I needed the car more than the A/C, and that I dont think the tech actually bothered to properly diagnose the code, they (politely) interrupted me to say to just bring it back in.Well now there were allegedly *two* codes (I guess one was hidden from my diagnostic tool?), and the A/C was throwing one of them, but hey, the water pump is totally the other one, and for just shy of $600 (after the AM got me a $50 discount), now my car wont overheat!So, they stuck a $600 water pump into my car. It still overheated (but they caught it themselves that time). They held it for two more days while they ordered an O-Ring. They called me today to say it was ready.Got it back this afternoon. The red warning triangle blared at me before I even got it home.So my hypothesis is that either the AM or the tech sensed that I would only spring for the necessary repairs first, so either the account manager lied to me, or the tech lied to her. They told me it was one problem just so I would end up paying for two really expensive parts.So, Gray Daniels Toyota. Great work on the A/C condenser. Your customer service level is great. Very fast. As I sit stranded in a parking lot at the end of a long hard day for the second day in a row, I figured this was a perfect time to click the link in a text from Gray-Daniels Toyota requesting a review of my experience. I have plenty of time now, as I sit here too pregnant to change the tire myself, waiting on my husband to drive all the way here to come help me.I initially went to GD Toyota to purchase this vehicle a year ago. I had a nice sales associate who was new, but the one we drove was making a funny noise. It was a hybrid but it seemed unusual even for a hybrid. Some manager came out and told us how they just do that. Well we went to Herrin-Gear Toyota instead, where we had a wonderful experience and, surprise, bought one that of course didn’t make that noise.When my tire had a slow leak I brought it yesterday to GD for service since they were closest to me. They were very busy and I had to wait 2 hours. I was told there was a screw in the tire and they patched it. Then I went to work for the rest of the day to come out at the end to an entirely deflated tire.I brought it back again today and was told they had to take the tire off the rim to patch it that time but it was fixed. That was at 5PM and here I sit at 9PM with, again, a completely deflated tire.3 strikes: you’re out. Based on my sales experience initially, I would not recommend Gray-Daniels Toyota Sales unless you like being told that new cars are supposed to make funny noises. Based on my service experience, if you can’t patch a screw hole in 2 tries, I certainly wouldn’t want you touching anything “important.”As for me, now it’s pouring down rain. These are hours of my life I’ll never get back, with more hours left to spend on this ordeal. Hopefully my review can save you some of yours.Edit to add that no one ever reached out to me as replied. I ended up taking the car to Mavis down the street, which patched the tire with no problem.

I’ve purchased a couple of vehicles from here, and I’ll probably buy another one from here in the future. From the sales to service and parts, I’ve always been treated well. As along with everything else, post Covid-19, things are a little different, and it’s not as good as it once was. Hopefully it’ll get better as things are starting to normalize a bit.

I bought a 2007 Highlander Hybrid, with several ABS and other lights on it. The Master Mechanic diagnosed and repaired it for a reasonable price.
First class in the way that they handled me. They were kind enough to deliver the vehicle to my work place over 2 hours away to facilitate the deal. I could not be happier with my vehicle. My only issue is that I do not have the title to the new vehicle and I live in Louisiana so I cannot register the vehicle in my state until I have this. Being that MS does not give extended temp tags, it kind of leaves me in a bind. This is not altogether the dealer’s fault, and they have done a great job keeping me aware of the issue. At the end of the day, I will buy another car from this location- my only wish is that I am not left with out a way to register the new vehicle in my state.

Got my vehicle serviced here and while the techs was servicing it, they wanted to rumble through my vehicle. Dont recommend using them.
Got a letter from the extended warranty provider that Gray-Daniels never finalized the paperwork with them and our warranty was going to be cancelled. We are now on week 3 of getting the run around from Gray-Daniels on getting this resolved. Weve been passed around the entire organization multiple times, have left messages with multiple people, and still have not had any progress. Doubtful well ever buy a vehicle from them again.

Living in a world full of technology, not being able to speak to a person on the phone to check on the status of our vehicle is inexcusable. I was stunned to learn that their computer system doesn’t allow someone in charge of making an appointment to also view the status of a car’s service appointment. We were told one time slot that our vehicle would be finished (we had left it overnight so that it would be one of the first cars serviced the next day), but since we couldn’t speak to anyone, we weren’t able to learn that they weren’t going to finish with our car until after 2PM.
Julian “JJ” Johnson was an outstanding salesman. He was a straight shooter that knows how to handle and conduct business. I would highly recommend him.
Ryan was so friendly, and no one seemed upset that they were staying a little longer after closing so I could come home with my desired vehicle. I’m 19 with hardly any credit. My mom co-signed with me, and, with her good credit, everyone was able to work with my budget on a new used car. I recommend coming here if you found a vehicle you like on their website!
