Horrible. Worst ever. Purchased a hot water heater with full replacement warranty fron Sears. It broke. Call Sears and was placed on hold several times for hours at a time. (One time over 7 hrs). They made promises to pay for all out of pocket expenses, then broke them, costing me over $700. Dont use Sears.

I have been waiting on a replacement part since October 2020. Two different repair companies have come to repair my microwave with no success. I am extremely disappointed with the service this time. I have been a customer of Sears for many many years. My parents were customers of Sears. I understand we are dealing with a Pandemic. However I have been dealing with incompetency. One rep told me the two other reps filled out the forms incorrectly which caused more delays. When will this nightmare end?

Very poor service. For 3 days me and my family were without hot water and they knew all along that they didnt carry hot water heaters anymore. We went down to Home Depot and purchased one and a family friend whos a plumber installed it. Sears isnt how they used to be. The long waits on the phone the shuffling around to different people. Will never recommend sears to anyone. Very poor service and sears has to pay for the inconvenience that me and my family faced. Their service has definately went downhill. Very poor service.

After service call technician ordered parts said that they would be received and install 2 wks later. After waiting another 28 days and no eta on last part needed to complete the work order I finally canceled order & bought a new unit. Returned part 21 days ago and still waiting on my refund less the service call Charge of $110. I make daily calls to get a confirmation or transaction # for credit their representatives say was credited back to me 13 days ago. Finally got an email address from a rep yesterday to inquire on this supposed credit to my visa and still waiting.....

Is it possible to leave no stars? I had a service appointment scheduled today between 1-5pm and no one showed, never even got a call to update me. Customers are expected to make the time, but Sears service techs cant be bothered to show up. Completely discourteous and unprofessional! TERRIBLE SERVICE and the escalation team also could not offer much of a resolution. When I called at 502pm, I was told that it was not yet 5 and I needed to wait. When asked how long, the service rep told me soon.

Sears service men are very professionals, courteous and skilled. They do their jobs very thoroughly to our satisfaction. They also make us knowledgeable if any appliance need any special care for better maintenance. We are using Sears Appliance maintenance service for about 35 years without a break. I recommend anyone to use their service.

The ice maker in my Jenn-Air refrigerator started to leak profusely, leaving puddles of water on my kitchen floor. Fortunately, I was at home and discovered the potential catastrophe within about ten minutes. The same thing happened two more times, but I was also lucky to be home on those two occasions.I called Sears, which sent out an amazingly competent repairman. He immediately sized up the situation and miraculously had in his truck two critical and very rare components that enabled him to fix the problem. Since he left my house the ice maker has been working perfectly.Your technician was professional, courteous, and kind. He even gave me some advice about what to do whenever I leave my house for a significant length of time: Shut off the ice maker, simply by moving an aluminum arm.Thank you for having on your staff someone as skillful as the man you sent to help me. Very professional and knowledgeable.I purchased my craftsman ltx 1000 riding mower used and did not get the manual and the model number had scratched off with age so I was in the dark as far as information on this mower. I scheduled the silver maintenance package and the tech that came out was nice enough to explain a few things to me while he worked on the mower. He cleaned up the mower and the driveway once he was done and the mower is working great. I could not have asked for a better experience. I feel it was well worth the expense.

I have been very satisfied with my service from Sears. The service men are prompt, polite and efficient. The scheduling seems to work out well every time. If there is a problem you are notified promptly and dont have to wait and wonder all day about where they are.

Terrible post repair response from Sears!! Initial schedule maintenance was great! Next day an odor of gas was detected! Called Sears and had a terrible customer service response! Tech said they could not return until 12-20, 12-29 and 1-3-18! They said they were having computer problems with scheduling appointments and could not return until 1-3-2018! Told us to shut off gas! Dryer was fine before checkup!!

Horrible experience with Sears repair for my samsung dishwasher which is under a warranty. Month long back order on parts. 3 service calls requiring missed work days. Wrong parts sent. No follow up. Customer service could not locate service order number when I called. Hours on phone. Using large amounts of hot water to clean dishes for rwo months. No offer of compensation or replacement. Have been a loyal Sears customer for 25 years but will now go elsewhere

An A&E technician came to my house, ran a diagnostic on my washing machine and told me I needed a new pump that had to be ordered. A second A&E technician came after the pump arrived to install it, but he determined that the first technician failed to recognize we needed the computer board replaced too. Consequently, he installed the pump but we had to wait a second time for the board to arrive. The second technician said the board would be sent overnight, which it wasnt, and I took a day off from work for nothing. I called and filed a complaint with customer service and I was refunded the cost for labor. The customer service representative told me that when the technician returned, I wouldnt have to pay for anything because I had already paid for the part. When the computer board finally arrived, the technician returned to install it. I wasnt at home, but I told my wife we werent supposed to pay when the technician completed the job. However, after he completed the job, he charged us $80. He told my wife it was for the part (that I had already paid for). When I called customer service again, I found out the charge was for running a diagnostic. Im angry because the first technician already ran a diagnostic and screwed up, so why am I paying for another diagnostic. Im still waiting to hear back from a manager. If I dont get my refund, Im filing a report with the Attorney General. I go without a washer for almost a month spending extra money in a laundromat because they dont know what they are doing. I swear Ill never deal with Sears and A&E again. If my washer breaks down again Ill call another repair company or take my clothes to a creek and beat them across the rocks. A&Es incompetence and lack of integrity is unparalleled. Use them at your own risk.

Sears personnel came and accessed my electric glasstop stove for maintenance, he answered our questions on how to keep the stove in well working condition. Overall, happy with the experience. He came before noon which was a plus.

I wouldve given 5 stars, as the technician was excellent at identifying and fixing the issue with my furnace, but he failed to check if my furnace was under a protection agreement (which it was and I didnt remember until the next day) so I was charged the full amount of the repair. Sears has since rectified the issue and I was given a full refund.

I scheduled an appointment for today between 10 and 2. I received a call from Steve at 0945 stating that he was 30-35 mins away. I closed my dog in a bedroom as suggested by their appI waited until 1115 without hearing anything further. Meanwhile I was checking my driveway every 5 mins for his arrival. I called the service dept and was told that they would send out a text message to Steve to get an update. At 1210, I received a call from the service dept staying that the technician had already been here and that no one was home. Meanwhile I have been up and down like a jack rabbit checking for his arrival. I was told that he had called but yet I have no messages on my phone. She stated that he would not be able to return today and that I would have to reschedule. The earliest appt available would be the 16th. This is totally unacceptable especially since I did everything right. Not sure who the technician wad calling, but it certainly wasnt me.Worst customer service ever!!!!! Will never do business with Sears again. No wonder most of their stores have closed. Shame on you Sears!!!

Repair man showed up to fix dishwasher. When explained the problem he simply hit the reset button and said it was fixed even though we explained that we had done that already and that it is not a fix.My husband had to really push him to actually check the machine and fix it.

Arc? didnt have to repair anything, just an m.a. check up BUT I asked him to clean the tape path ways in my vcr but he didnt want to expose the internal parts to my dusty enviroment & small area [Others Did in the past & the cleaning isnt complete without cleaning everything} and he left exposed wires with no reason why! He also rearranged 2 boxes after I asked him not to as Im handicapped and cant bend to put the boxes back to where they were. u should send Tung, he always cleaned the vcr the right way for the job wasnt done completely! the wiring is still in question [if i were still able to bend & twist, id do it myself!

First tech came out to do a PM, spent more time trying to sell me parts and service on my other appliances than on the PM. When he left, the dryer was broken, wouldnt heat up. I called right away to get someone back and the moron on the phone refused to acknowledge that the tech caused the problem, made me answer idiotic questions about my filter and vent, refused to schedule someone until I answered. Then, after wasting 10 minutes with his nonsense, scheduled someone for a week later. I had no dryer for over week spanning a family funeral and a Confirmation. The second tech shows up, fixes the dryer, then tells me that Sears doesnt care if the appliances are fixed they just want the techs selling, selling, selling. Sears will be out of business before the end of the year. Dont give them a cent of your money.

My fridge had not been working properly since I bought it, probably 20 years ago: vegetables always froze in the drawers. Other technicians who came out over the years told me I just had to live with it. Thought I would try one more time. This technician told me what the problem was (freezer and fridge too cold, broken dampers in the drawers). He didnt repair the drawers (said they always broke again), called a buddy of his who has my fridge model, and the buddy told him to use this special metallic tape to TAPER OVER THE AIR VENTS that bring cold air up from the freezer into the drawers. It worked perfectly. I couldnt believe I lived with it all those years because the other technicians didnt know what they were talking about. Really pisses me off, but I am so happy its finally fixed!

I had four different tech come out to fix my fridgeThe last one ordered partsThe parts arrived today damagedI have been on the phone for over an hour spoke to at least eight different people all of whom kept giving me the run around and kept transferring me aroundThey even transferred me to a technician only numberAll I needed was the part to be replaced in time for when the fifth technican comes outThis is more frustrating than anything elseSuch a simple problem but with the horrible customer service and unknowlegdeable associates this is turning out to be a horrific experience
