They always are on time and communicate with you. Friendly staff and will come back if you have a problem. We have them every 3 months and have had no problems.

Moved into home that was protected by Hughes for preceding 7+ years. Home had to be tented. Hughes made excuse of protecting against subterranean termites, not ones in attics. Guess what? During a demolition for remodeling this weekend, there was a ton of subterranean termite damage, too. Dont waste your money!

Hughes has been very responsive to issues that have come up, and the reports provided after every visit are very detailed. Our previous lawn and pest care provider failed to do the job, but it was hard for us to see what was going on because the reports were so brief and lacked detail. But when these applications were applied...NONE...ZERO...ZILTZ....We can go out ANYTIME of day and enjoy our yard without being eaten alive....I cannot believe it... And it did not get rid of the good guys...I still see our little geckos all over the place.... So that was good also....So would I recommended them... You betcha!!... Very Knowledgeable in Wildlife removal! Reasonably priced.

I scheduled an appointment to have someone come out and assess my property and was excited to hear some professional advice. They never showed up, but rather left a voicemail to say all prices could be quoted on the phone. I was looking forward to using this company as they are affiliated with Naders and I used them in Jacksonville beach, FL. Hughes doesnt value the same customer service as Naders.

This company has been outstanding from the first call. They were very concerned and willing to get help out right away. They sent Gary out immediately to help get rid of my fire ant infestation inside the house. He was ready to work and was very thorough in his search to find the source. These folks want to turn killing a few rats into rocket science and charge accordingly. After being paid $300 for the bare minimum, they let me know their standard charge is $850 and they would knock off the $300 to complete the job. (After posting this review I was contacted by Kyle, the General Manager. He was very pleasant and professional in assuaging my concerns and in explaining what their charges encompass. I have since been in contact with their technician Ron who was very professional and helpful in addressing my problem. I would highly recommend this company.)

I live in Venture Rentals in Bradenton and I had a TERRIBLE roach problem so Venture sent Hughes in to take care of my problem and boy did they ever. It took a month or so but they did the big job then returned every week to make sure things were dying! I remember Kyle, Victoria, Mike and another man who were all so nice and understanding when I acted like an idiot telling them how much I appreciated them and their caring about my chagrin over these creatures. Your company is awesome in my book!

I cant say enough good things about these guys. They are very flexible and readily available. Also the prices are so reasonable!! I couldnt believe it. I signed up for the yearly plan and they come out every few months to make sure my home is pest free.I was suffering from ghost ants and I tried everything to get rid of them with no luck. The guy came in and within one day I never saw a single ant again! He also did a look around the house and noticed some bee nests that I never saw. He took care of it all. I am so greatful for them!

Terrible service! I have been a long time customer using their lawn service, pest control, wildlife exclusion and termite package. I basically have all their services for many years. For past 6 years i have been dealing with a rat infestation which they have never cleared up. After trying a few years ago and having a guy come every 3 days to check the traps for about a month without catching anything, i gave up and tried on my own although I kept the service.Fast forward to now, I decided to give them another chance to catch the rats. I called and they send an inspector to the home to seek out any possible entry ways where the rats can enter. RJ goes around the entire house and writes down all the possible entry ways that need addressing and tells me that someone will come in 4 days to close up all the possible entries. 4 days later, 2 guys come and they are here for maybe 30 minutes and tell me they are finished. I surprised them by pulling out the receipt from RJ which lists all the fixes that need to be completed and found out they only did about 1/3 of the suggested fixes. The guys go on to tell me that RJ is just a salesman and he is incorrect and everything is good how they did it. I say fine, to me it makes no difference because if rats are still present you will still need to come and get rid of them so more work for you guys.An appointment is set up to check the traps 3 days later, and another guy comes and immediately asks if he can use my bathroom. I thought this was rather unprofessional. He could have stopped at a mcdonalds or elsewhere just prior to use the bathroom but whatever. They check the traps and lay additional traps. They dont come with the traps that are needed for the inside of the home despite me showing them droppings around the inside of my house. They tell me they will come 3 days later and gave me a 2 hour window. I take off half a day of work to be there for them and they do not show. I call the office the next day and advise them that nobody came to check the traps. The lady was apologetic and told me she will call her supervisor and call me back with another appointment date. She calls back an hour later and tells me that someone will be there on Saturday between 9AM-11AM. I cancel my breakfast plans with friends to be home for them. I wait all morning till noon and again no show. I called the office again to find out why nobody showed for a 2nd time. I receive the answering service and they tell me that the local office is closed on Saturdays and someone will call me back on Monday.In a nutshell, I gave up 1/2 day at work on Wednesday for no reason and gave up plans with friends on Saturday for no reason. I think i will be taking all my hughes business elsewhere!

Horribly unprofessional!!! The worst experience Ive had with a business in a very long time!!! I made an appointment with Hughes at 9 am the next day to treat a bug issue. The technician failed to show up and no one called to let me know.I spoke to the supervisor Kyle T who was very disrespectful and condescending. After I hung up this young man called me back and told me that I was mentally unstable and needed help. Needless to say I would recommend any other company before Hughes!!!!! I give them -5⭐

Termite Inspection was professional and thorough and the report was exactly what we were looking for. Kudos to Hughes! However, there was quite a bit of salesmanship afterwards for extended termite and pest services. The extended services felt unwarranted and unjustified even after lengthy explanations that fell short of logic.

They provide regular pest control of my apartment complex which is infested with roaches, bed bugs and fleas. Their idea of regular pest control of an infested complex is once every three months. I was told they guarantee their work, however they have come out once since I moved in 31 days ago even after being told about the infestations and at that time sprayed very sparsely around the apartment. No special treatment was done and my son (who is 18) even overheard the exterminator talking to the landlord while exiting my apartment saying he didnt see any evidence of bugs and that I was overreacting. Well the photos on my phone of roach carcasses and feces as well as the bed bug bites on my body tell a different story!!!!!! I would not recommend these guys.
