My 5 year old son attended summer camp during the summer of 2021. It was the best money Ive ever spent. My son went EVERYWHERE Id have taken him if I could have (working parent problems) and probably had more fun than I could have offered. He looked forward to attending each day. They offer flexible days and the staff is 5 stars in themselves. Always available for feed back, questions and concerns. Id enroll my kids again and again. So glad I found them!

I have visited several martial arts gyms; in the Bay area, South Florida, and a few others across the world when I was fortunate enough to travel.Kickin It Karates first impression is FAMILY oriented. And then you can observe other important factors you always want to see at Martial Arts academy: Discipline, good classes, great instructors, and a clean facility.Their kids program seems to be doing great, there were easily over 30 kids and all followed instruction well. Both Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes were run very well and the instructors clearly have years and years of experience in martial arts, and working with kids and families.When looking for a kids/family-oriented program, this is the place to call in the Bradenton area.As a disclaimer, it is fair to point out that I recently started supporting them with some marketing strategies; however, my review comes from the time I spent at the academy and saw them interacting with students/families; and then I got to train Jiu-Jitsu myself later in the evening. Had my experience or perception of the academy been differently, my review would be different as well.

This place is amazing. Great for getting in shape, staying in shape and learning self defense. Myself and 2 of kids go to the jiu jitsu class but they have karate class as well. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend this place to everyone

Kickin’ It Karate is not only a place to work out but a place you will call home. Becky and Josh push you to the limits they know your capable of. They make you feel like you can accomplish your goals and help you get there. When you join their gym your not a number but become a part of the entire family. Everyone is warm and welcoming and everyone helps you reach your goals. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for me and look forward to hitting more goals in 2020!

I have been coming here for years and this business is not just a business it’s a family. The owners are amazing people and treat everyone with respect and care. Their karate program is outstanding and is the best in the local area. The summer camp and after school programs are great for young kids to be in a safe environment and doing fun activities.

Kickin’it karate & fitness is a great martial arts/fitness school with amazing instructors that are constantly sharing their knowledge of the sport. The environment is very welcoming to all and takes you in as part of the family. Would recommend for anyone who is wanting to get a good workout in, learn how to defend themselves, or to one day step into the ring! Overall just a ton of awesome people all working together to help each and every person reach their goal.

Kickin It is awesome. Fun to watch the kids have fun and gives them something to look forward to. Josh and the instructors do a great job instilling discipline to build stronger and more confident minds in our youth. Summer camp is awesome too! Our kids love it!

Ive been with Josh and Becky for 6 years or more. They handle their students with the utmost care an respect. The children thrive here. Ive only know Eduardo for going on two years. Great instructors in a very clean facility. My family, 3 boys, my wife and I, all love the training. They are very welcoming to beginners and have a free 2 week trial period.

Great family atmosphere. The instructors will challenge you to be your best, no matter what shape you are in physically. Very affordable rates for the whole family. Facility is always very clean.

My 10 y/o daughter has been coming here to kickin it karate & fitness to learn Brazilian jujitsum for over a year. She loves it here! The owners are amazing! Not only do they do a great job of naturally cultivating a fun, positive, safe, family-team environment but I love the way they also share their huge passion for martial artist to the community by training, teaching, mentoring, empowering children and adults of all Sorts. The Professor & Sensei are great, engaging, instructors. We could not ask for a better experience.

My son has been at kickin it for about 2 years. Becky, Josh and the rest of the staff and members have been amazing. They treat each other like family, very fair with pricing, they stay in communication about progress of my son. I am the most nervous of people when it comes to my son being around people I dont know but from day 1 I just felt a sense of comfort that my son is protected, having fun and learning a lot. I have been attending one of the classes for just under a year. From the first day, Josh and Becky were super welcoming and friendly. Every time I walk in, it’s a warm hello. I was a newbie and quite out of shape when I started, and the other day, I did 10 actual pushups with Becky’s encouragement. They never once made me feel ashamed of my inabilities when I needed to do wall push ups or that I was too big to be trying things. Everybody in the class is so very encouraging. We do the exercises at our pace. I am so grateful for another member recommending this gym to me. AMAZING! POSITIVE! HONEST! FAMILY! CLEAN!SAFE! PROFESSIONAL! My 5 yr old son Mikey is on Team Mastery Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Professor Eduardo Martinez knowledge and leadership is top notch,. Mikey also attended a fantastic summer camp, Ms.Becky has the program on point, not only did I have the entire summer fieldtrip schedule @ sign up she also had activities scheduled daily with a staff that put the kids first on ALL LEVELS. Sensei Josh built the school out of pure love for Martial Arts, his years of experience in the sport, not only shows by the solid classes that he teaches, but the staff who are with him. I am thankful that Mikey and myself are apart of this FAMILY! Karate Classes, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Fitness class, Self Defense, private lessons, after school program, and Summer Camp all in one place!
