I loaded from Jacksonville Florida to Riviera Beach Florida.HAD A 9:00 A.M. APPOINTMENT FOR FRIDAY MORNING ARRIVED AT FIRST WAREHOUSE 8:24 A.M. WITH THE FREIGHT THAT DELIVERS TO THAT WAREHOUSE, BUT THEY WANTED ME TO TAKE IT TO THE MAIN WAREHOUSE THIS TIME.ARRIVED AT 2ND WAREHOUSE 8 52 A.M. ON TIME FOR DELIVERY.GAVE GUARD LOAD INFORMATION MY PHONE NUMBER & NAME & WAS TOLD THEY WILL CALL ME WHEN THEY WERE READY FOR ME.BEING THAT THERE IS NO PLACE TO PARK AT THIS RECEIVER LOCATION I WAS RAN AWAY FROM 3 PLACES I ATTEMPT TO PARK WHICH WAS VERY AGGRAVATING.ABOUT 2:30AM SATURDAY MORNING RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM SECURITY TO COME IN AND GET A DOOR,I WAS FINISHED UNLOADING AT 4:30 A.M. SATURDAY MORNING.19 HOURS LATER IM UNLOADED.I went through that long story to give you all my first time experience pulling for route transportation logistics that from the time I picked the my load up I was constantly receiving phone calls to check on my status as of how I was doing. It wasnt the type of phone calls that says are you going to be on time it was basically how are you doing.For the 19 hours that I was waiting to be unloaded they kept checking every 3 to 4 hours, when most brokers once you arrive to the receiver the phone calls stop cuz all they concerned about is that the freight got there to the receiver they still kept checking on me about my situation.I must say Dominic, I believe it was Rose, and Andrew more so Dominic really made me feel like they were concerned about me not getting unloaded by my appointment time especially when I was on time.I must say I was compensated for my layover, it doesnt cover a lost load but it also did not leave me unhappy 😝😝I wish all brokers could be like these guys and treat truck drivers fare especially when we did our part.Looking forward to do more business with route transportation. If you see that these guys are looking for trucks tried to book your load through them they have rates that were good and for the situation that I went through I was compensateSo my first time experience was a good one.

The company was cool to work with a little low on rate but they are willing to work with you. Everything was cool besides the fact the load coordinator was hounding the hell out of me. (LET US DRIVE) but once I understood that they have encountered a lot of people going off course I understand the hounding. Other than that nice solid people with clear communication I would love to work with these guys again.

Communications between employees in this company is terrible. Repeated emails and calls.Transportation is a business of communication. I could not get ahold of the broker I set the load up with so I called the receiver direct to set up a earlier delivery appointment.I was scolded by another rep at Route for calling the customer directly. They said the customer was not happy I did so which was a lie. Confirmed by my driver. They said that the time I requested was not available, which was a lie because I had already got the time from the destination.Do not treat me like I do not know what I am doing or that I want to steal your customer. If you have never been a fleet dispatcher or have driven a truck, do not act like you are 100% sure on how to broker loads to truck drivers that have TIME CONSTRAINTS.Other than this ignorance of this one broker, my experience was great.
