Nice place to bring the family. Several pavilions with seating, and charcoal grills as well. Sarasota bay is just south of the park.There is also a playground with slides, swings, a climbing wall, and a merry go round.Lots of shade provided by the massive banyan tree. And if its too hot, theres always the pool or the bay

Very nice small park. Has a pool, playground, meeting hall, covered patio and several stand alone shelters with tables and grills. The center can be rented.

Not a safe place for your boat and electronics! Security gate has obviously been pried open several times. Shady people hanging out in the parking lot and hopping gate and fence to fish docks. If your friends come they can’t park in secure area even though there’s tons of space…

Great! My daughter loves it, there is a lot to do, and its by the house. The homeless/vagrant population is a bit of a turn off during the day.

Newly renovated hall is for local clubs and other events. Part of the Bayshore Gardens Recreation district, along with pool, Marina and picnic area next to a beach area on the Bay.

Great place for a party or cookout. The marina is great, being renovated shortly. Should be outstanding. Cant wait!

They were having a neighborhood yard sale!! Lots of neat stuff! We love bringing our dog out here! We are always meeting great people too!

This place is freakin awesome.

Portable by the water is always pretty clean and had toilet paper. The park has enough covered areas and grills for multiple families. Always have a great time there.

I went there to cast my vote for the for the 2020 election. Didnt have a long wait

Would have given 5 stars but they changed the rules and now kids have to be 15 to swim with out parents. My kids used to be able to go themselves so I could get ready for work at night. Now they have less to do durning the day.

Finally getting the docks redone. New ramp is great. So wide now.

Excellent place for all activities, Recreation Hall under renovation at present but Park, Beach and Playground is still open .

Great little park and nice view of the water. Friendly staff and friendly people. No bathroom besides an outhouse. Very few people come out here. Very dated overhangs and power outlet access.

Its a nice local park that doesnt get a lot of traffic, which is a huge plus. Theres a marina, a baseball field, a place to store kayaks, a rec center and a playground. There is also access to Sarasota bay. You can see downtown Sarasota and the Ringling bridge from the park.

I wish they had a better space for seeing the 🌇

I was in the office at Bayshore trying to get my pool fob and was speaking with Gia when we were rudely interrupted by an older white haired lady who began asking questions to make sure Gia knew what she was talking about. Gia was very informative and knew exactly what she was talking about. The woman was very disrespectful and was belittling the office staff. EXTREMELY unprofessional. I have been in this office numerous times and have always had beyond exceptional customer service and am always treated great. I asked the office who she was and they said she was the Board Chairman. Pretty sad that this woman is your representation. She is rude and unprofessional. She needs to be replaced ASAP!

Cool little place for a the locals. Its a bit hidden away on a dead end street. You cannot access the dock if you are not a member or guest.

I take my granddaughter to the park there. She has fun playing there.

I love this place, even tho it has a smell on some days, its honestly never packed with people. Maybe 3-4 cars at the most and its right behind the community swimming pool.

Had a baby shower and apparently we filled out the contract with wrong hours. I found out day of my event the person in charge of place that would not cooperate with me even if paying more hours.I spend alooooooot of money and was expecting more people arriving and made us get out of their by 7pm. Spent $500.00 for place and and dont know if getting my security money. My baby shower was nightmare and disaster. Didnt had an understanding person to begin with. And I understand I made a mistake with timing. But their should more understanding staff in charge on weekend. Thanks Bayshore gardens for ruining my 1st childs baby shower. Would not recommend this place at all bad service ur beeing babysitt by the person in charge of hall through all event pretty nosy I would say. 3/30/19

Though lots of money was spent to upgrade the rec center the acoustics is still poor making it difficult for the hearing impaired to hear what is being said.

I really liked this placeOnly negative was i came with a party of 15 and we had one server who may have been overwhelmed but when i say that I mean it with the most respect!Zeek was AWESONE!Should have had some help with filling drinks and the little things that would help keep people happy! I was very happy but im not majority! THANKS Zeek!!!!!!!

It may be good for fishing but this place does not have a rest room, there was a disgusting portable one.

We were there for our Granddaughters swim meet. Beautiful pool area!

Actually I was visiting the park next to this and only own kayaks.

Its a nice park. Some of the benches and tables are broken and that could be a hazard for younger kids.

Not alot of shade, but seabreeze is lovely. Not crowded either.

Oh yeah this place is great except it needs a cover over the playground

This is a small well sheltered Marina with out a lot of difficult passages but not easy to sail into although it is a nice location for Sarasota
