Terrible customer service. Paid them 300 dollars to do my taxes and then messed and had to do an amendment. Then because of covid, the IRS shut down supposedly in only the department that does paper amendments, talked the GM of the location. He was super unhelpful and told me there was no way they were going to give me a refund. My brother also went in this year and they were super rude and outwardly disrespectful because he couldnt recall some of his info. Terrible business. Do not go here. They are just in it to get your fee, not about providing a good service.

Everything was very streamlined and easy to follow, so there werent many lingering questions from my husband and I. Laura is very knowledgeable and helpful!

My taxes sat in office for almost 3 weeks. I called twice and no one had even started them much less looked at them. The second time I called I told them they had been there 2 days short of 3 weeks and I need them ASAP. I was put on hold and lady came back and said it showed I just brought taxes in 5 days ago. I said no, I know when I brought them in and it was the 26th of February. I told them they needed to be done by tomorrow (3-18-2021) or I was coming to get them. I was contacted by a very kind woman Laura and she got my taxes done promptly (10 min) . Theres not much to do on them.

THE GOOD: Betty White. She is incredibly kind and professional- definitely a 5! Everyone Im the office is. (If you have a question though, dont expect a call back from your tax professional- no one will call back from the office. Just keep bugging them until someone will help you- they are all capable and lovely to work with.THE BAD: OVER $600 to file a 1040 & 2 states (1 adult, 2 children). I was shocked (a bit appalled) to be charged extra for filing Child tax credits and the earned income credit. I highly recommend Betty, but the company is taking advantage of those with lower income by charging for filing each credit. $600 may not be much to most people, but to me- its HUGE! (Honestly, thats half a months wages for me working 40 hrs a week.) FILE ONLINE- BY YOURSELF, AT HOME IF YOU CAN! I went to the office because I couldnt get my AGI from 2018 so the IRS rejected my refund the first time I tried to file. I ended up spending about $500 more to have my taxes done in a 45 minute appointment.

The ease of getting into office with no appointment and having my taxes done was great. I really appreciated being helped though I came in at the end of the day before closing. Office staff was friendly and efficient. Everything was explained thoroughly. I never thought I’d use an H&R Block but I know nothing about taxes and was late filing. Everything was explained thoroughly and though I felt it cost a lot, I understand you have to pay overhead and employees and make a profit. I also had many jobs in 2 states and a retirement refund so extra time was needed for that.

I had a good experience, my taxes were really easy and my tax professional didnt judge me. He was very nice and answered all of the questions I had . Everyone in the office seemed happy. I really expected to walk in and think that it was a really sad place but it had a good energy. Overall I had a great experience.

They filed my taxes under someone else. Will never go back here.

I feel that the staff are very friendly and professional. I used to do my own taxes but after I turned 80 years i decided i better leave the task to pros. I have used the services of H&R Block for quite a few years now ... i just turned 90!
