Like many people, we were bummed Covid prevented us from international travel this summer, so we decided instead to explore Yellowstone and rent through Hatch. Hands down, one of the best vacations ever! Flying in from out of town, it was so nice the only thing we needed to bring was sleeping bags (Although they will rent them to you as well!) The booking process with Alisa was easy and flexible. Picking up the Jeep, John, helped us map out our whole adventure-we went in with nothing planned! They had everything supplied, down to the toilet paper and playing cards! All their supplies were clean and in great working order. The Jeep was so fun to drive all over the park, and the tent took two easy seconds to setup. Everyone thought we were real professional campers which is far from the truth. Id recommend Hatch to anyone and we are looking forward to using their services again!

Awesome experience. My wife and I rented the Tacoma set up from Hatch for a few days in June 2019. Owners John and Stephan were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable.This was our first time to Yellowstone and the Tetons and can’t imagine doing it any other way.Having the accessibility of camping and transportation in one package enabled us to be sporadic and adventurous. We drove through the national parks to see the sites and camped in the national forests surrounding the parks. We saw a ton of wildlife because we were not tied down to specific hotels and times. This also allowed us to stay clear of the crowds when it was time to eat. Pulled over where we wanted, got out the camp stove, cooked some grub and then were on our way again. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Hatch Adventures saved my vacation!My truck broke down while my wife and I were on a property hunting & ski vacation. Stephan and Alisa, Jake, and John and were unbelievably accommodating and the Jeep Rubicon was outfitted with ski racks and studded snow tires - exactly what we needed to enjoy the storm on the slopes and get to the properties we wanted to see afterward.

Hatch provided the perfect set up for our family’s Yellowstone trip. My wife and I had visited the park before and wanted to take our two kids for the sights and the fishing. The Tacoma with the awning tent gave us plenty of room, but more importantly gave us flexibility. Pulling off the road and having an impromptu picnic while watching bison in the Lamar valley or finding a good piece of water to fish with kids at a moments notice was made possible with this truck. Along with all the amenities included, Alisa and the team took great care of us in all aspects of our trip. We were talking about “the next” time we rent from hatch on the way to drop off the truck at the end of the trip.

We had an amazing time on an overnight float of the Missouri River. The raft was easy to row for a first timer, simple to load and unload, and carried all our food and glamping gear. It was high style.Also, really appreciated the trip advice from Hatch. Would love to come back and do some day floats concentrated on fishing!

We rented two fishing rafts for our Smith River float in October. Both rafts were in great condition and all equipment provided worked perfectly. Hatch also helped us plan out trip logistics and were happy to work with our changing schedule. We look forward to renting the full package next year.

Renting with Hatch Adventures was a great all around experience. The owner, Stephan was easy to communicate with, personable and very informative. My flight was delayed and he went above and beyond getting me the truck without hassle later that night. He loves what he does and it shows. I was lucky to find this gem.I rented the Toyota Tacoma during winter for a ski trip. I felt very safe with the snow tires, 4 wheel drive and winter driving advice from John. From the included Ski/Snowboard racks, Go Fast Camper platform, battery booster and spacious cabin for all my gear I was thoroughly prepared for my ski trip. I highly recommend Hatch Adventures!

We rented a jeep for two weeks and could not be happier with this company. The car was great, the camping equipment (stove etc) was well thought out and had exactly what we needed and nothing that we did not, saving space in the car. It was quite comfortable sleeping up on top with plenty of space for two people. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was clear they know their stuff! Thanks!

Great customer service! The vehicles are top notch, newer models and very well maintained. The 4x4 truck did very well in the weather and on the snow. I highly recommend them for reliable and fun outdoor adventures.

Truly great. Found out WAY too late that the big car rental places cant guarantee a 4WD vehicle (even when an SUV), which would not have worked for a trip to Big Sky. Found Hatch Adventures online, they got right back, found us two great cars that seemed brand new, and got us on our way. BONUS: the owner drove us the 10 miles from the office to the airport, when we dropped the car off.Would recommend this place to anyone....and in the summer they do a big adventure/camping rental business.

Hatch made it super easy to do a river trip. The raft set-up is great- theres a cooler, a big dry bag, and all of the raft-related safety equipment that you need. Its perfect for fishing, too. I had never done a raft trip before, and Hatch made it easy and accessible for me. I absolutely loved it and will be renting again in the future!

Stephan and crew of Hatch Adventures are absolutely top notch! My family of 4 rented a Wrangler with the J30 this summer and did a few days in and around Yellowstone. First off we came from the east coast and the airlines gave us a heck of a time, Stephan went above and beyond in working with us when the airlines totally screwed up our flights (Thanks again!!! Stephan)Once we got settled in we had a blast! They think of everything and the Jeep was fully stocked. Wife and daughter slept upstairs me and the boy slept downstairs, it was the best trip we have taken as a family! Seriously amazing trip. Great people and beautiful amazing places to visit, we loved it so much a Jeep Wrangler and a Ursa Minor J30 are in our future! Gonna get it installed with Hatch Adventures!!

Theyre awesome! We rented one of their Tacoma pickups for a ski road trip and it was perfect. The vehicle was top notch, in great condition and perfectly equipped with snow tires that got us through hundreds of miles on snowy roads without any issues. In the summer they usually have it setup with a tent in the back of the truck. Cant wait to try that!Overall an amazing experience with them, you will not regret it. Stephan is a super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating person. We forgot a cell phone and he was kind enough to get it for us and overnight it!

Absolutely incredible experience. We rented a raft for a day and took the family on a float down the Madison. The rental/return process was a breeze and the customer service was above and beyond what we could have expected. Thank you guys for working with us through the self induced hiccups we had with the trailer and we will be back soon to do it again!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a better option than classic car camping while in the Tetons this summer. We had a comfortable ride in the Jeep Wrangler and envious friends when we had our tent setup in under 60 seconds. The all inclusive kit that is provided made logistics that much easier too!Great crew of owners too. Youll be treated right! Hard to find these days.

We rented the Tacoma for 7 nights and did a family camping/fishing trip across Montana/ Wyoming. It was perfect and they included everything you need to camp. Top notch equipment!

The Jeep and pop-up camper were a total blast to have on our trip to the Tetons for the weekend! Not only did we feel like true adventurers, setting up camp in less than 60 seconds was pretty wonderful. The icing on the cake was the all-inclusive cooler/camp chair/table/grill/dishes/the-list-could-go-on equipment already packed in the rig. Needed a raft for an overnight trip. Their online reservation system was a breeze. Received an email confirmation in less than 12 hours, and even let me pick up early to accommodate my schedule. Only place I will go to when I need to rent a raft. A+++

I was looking for a 4 wheel drive vehicle in Bozeman but nobody would guarantee me a 4 wheel drive. I came across Hatch and the experience was great. They made sure that I was getting exactly what I needed because their vehicles come with different options from camping gear and ski racks. They were so easy to deal with and the product was top notch. They even met me 2 hours before they normally open and got us to the airport. If you are looking for a great vehicle with all type of sporting options and great customer service I highly recommend Hatch Adventures.

Rented a raft from Hatch back in September, great experience. Raft was provided ready to go on a trailer and fully equipped with NRS fishing frame etc. everything we needed for a long day on the Yellowstone. Stephan and John were very friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended if you need a rental raft.

I rented one of their Tacomas for a week up to Big Sky in the winter. Car was immaculate and handled well in one of their best snow storms of the 2018-19 season. I cant wait to come back in the summer and rent one to camp out in! On top of that, excellent customer service and communication w/ Stephan throughout the transaction. The price was pretty comparable to the Big Brand rental agencies (who also cant guarantee a 4wd car in winter, at least through their websites).10/10 would do business w/ these guys again.

Hatch is great for Families!This review is a long ways coming: My partner and I were headed out to Bozeman with our 6 month old to visit family and decided to take a trip up to Glacier while we were in town. We had initially booked stays at hotels when we came across Hatch Adventures. We decided to change our plans completely and were glad we did!We didnt know how or if it would be possible with our newborn to go on a camping trip but we made it an adventure. Stephan was great helping make us comfortable and he and his wife really thought of everything in their camping setup. You wont want for anything. You can literally arrive, buy some food at the local market and take off for the mountains. Its a no hassle experience. There was even salt and pepper... and chopsticks! in the kit.The jeep is great with the Ursa Minor tent. The tent can easily accommodate our young family and we set up a travel crib in the back of the truck for our newborn to take naps during the day which worked surprisingly well. The tent is high above the average camper at a national park and no one in our busy campsite complained or reported about our screaming child at 4am. It was a revelation.The only complaint is that I wish that they offered insurance as an option. It was simple enough to ask our insurance company, but the jeep falls into a weird sort of gray area with many insurance companies and getting insurance verification is a little bit of a hassle...especially wrangling a newborn. Its a small nitpick, but sometimes Id rather just pay for the peace of mind.In any case: Its awesome. Do it.

Hatch is excellent. We made plans to be in Jackson hole/big sky between Xmas and new year and every rental car location in and around Bozeman only had small sedans with no 4WD available, but were still charging almost $1000 for a week rental. Luckily we found Hatch and even though we weren’t using the pop up camper function, the Jeep we rented performed above and beyond what we were hoping to find at that point (for a fraction of the cost). We did get some weather and a decent amount of snow during our trip so any regular car we may have rented would have been an issue for us for certain stretches of the drive. Stephan, the owner, even gave us a ride to the airport after we dropped the car back off so we wouldn’t have to catch a Lyft or cab. It’s definitely a cool operation he has going and if we can make it back out there again, we will be booking with Hatch as our first option. Thanks Stephan!

My friend and I rented a truck from a major car rental company thinking it would have a hitch we could tow a drift boat with. it did not and the major rental companies dont allow you to tow anything anyway.Stephan and Hatch adventures saved our bacon by not only having a very well equipped Wrangler Jeep available but it could tow our rented drift boat.Stephan and Jake couldnt have been nicer and they saved our yearly Montana fishing trip. They even offered to give me a ride back to my rental when we found out how exorbitant Uber prices are in the area. This company is LEGIT! Do you need a bad A$$ Tacoma with a tent on the roof to protect you from grizzlies in snow storms?! No problem, they have that. You need a totally outfitted NRS boat for some epic float on the SAME river that Clark & Lewis bombed down 200 years ago with Brad Pitt in a River Runs Through it?! No problem, got it all. Ok, sorry... a River Runs Throigh it was filmed in the 90’s on the Blackfoot River (mostly)... but good news! Rent the boat and go float that in Missoula too!Ok, so we took out a boat on the Yellowstone for an epic day in the late Spring of this year. We caught 1 fish, but I can’t blame Hatch nor the boat, it was our own fault. We were having too much fun drinking cold dranks, goofin’ off, and doing other hood rat thangs.All in all, you gotta rent from this company cause they’re just simply the best of what they do! Can’t beat their setups, friendly people, and all of what they include!

We rented Hatchs Tacoma with the GFC camper to try it before we buy our own GFC. We had a really good experience with Hatch. They made booking easy, followed-up before our arrival, the vehicle was clean and in excellent condition, and we loved the GFC platform. Hatch also recommended a route for us that worked out perfectly for our goals on this trip.
