I had the good fortune to use Dr. Barr as my dentist years ago when I lived in Palm Beach County. Upon my recent return, I once again visited Dr. Barrs office for my dental care. The whole experience of going to the dentist is very enjoyable with Dr. Barr and his staff. Joann, his receptionist couldnt be more welcoming and she even remembered me upon my recent return after 14 years! You are always welcomed in the warmest way. I was fortunate to have Kim, the hygienist clean my teeth yesterday and I felt like Id had the BEST cleaning Ive had in years from any hygienist. Dr. Barr himself is a pleasure to speak to and listens to your concerns and needs besides being the finest dental artist in doing restoration work. Sandy, his assistant is the perfect complement to Dr. Barrs with her years of experience and friendly nature and completes this excellent team of professionals. I wholeheartedly recommend Palm Beach Smiles to everyone. They will make you overcome any hesitation about visiting a dentists office. I feel as if I was welcomed home upon my return!

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Barr took his time to thoroughly explain everything throughout the visit. My first visit was a great experience and I definitely plan to use this office for my dentistry needs in the future.

I am a new patient at PBS. I very much appreciate the friendly atmosphere and considerate treatment. I am also very satisfied with the quality of care I have received for the two replacement crowns and bonding repair. Im now getting a new bite guard--Im hoping it will be one Ill actually wear. Dr. Barr takes his time to get the job done right, and he explains everything he is doing and why he is doing it. The office is attractive without looking like a boutique. I like being treated as though my business is appreciated rather than being treated as though the office is doing me a favor by having me come there. So far, a great experience!

My husband and I are new patients here as of today, and I have to say, this has been the best experience Ive ever had at a dentist office!The receptionist was a ball of sunshine on the phone, in email, and in person.My husband was still chit chatting with Dr. Barr while my appointment was supposed to start, and instead of cutting them off or just making me waiting the lobby until they finished, the dental assistant took me in and took care of all the x-rays.They are all so thoughtful, personable, and knowledgeable.

Dr. Barr is an excellent dentist. He stays up to date on the latest dental technologies, equipment and procedures. Dr. Barr truly enjoys dentistry and it is obvious in his knowledge base and eagerness to discuss procedures in depth with you.His staff Is very warm, professional and accommodating to help with your scheduling needs.Dr. Barr’s attention to detail is outstanding and greatly appreciated in the end result.

Excellent Doctor and staff. I was able to book an appointment online on a Sunday for an emergency visit. It gave me piece of mind that I would be seen the following day. Dr. Barr was thorough and kind, he took the time to help me understand my dental issues and offered solutions that would work for me. The office was very clean. 5 Stars!

I normally don’t write reviews but i feel I must today. I have seen numerous dentist in the past and I have a big fear of going. My wife told me to go to her dentist so I did and I’m so glad I did. I though for sure I was going to lose more teeth or need at least a few root canals. When dr Barr told me he can save all my teeth without a root canal I was shocked. Dr Barr loves what he dose and you can tell. Not once today way I in any discomfort or pain. Even getting the shots of anesthetic Was painless. If you have any fear at all of dentist go here.

Dr. Barr is without a doubt, hands down, the very BEST dentist Ive encountered in my 60 years of life. He genuinely cares about his patients and does all he can for them. As for the staff, you couldnt ask for more friendly and likeable people in the world. I will recommend him to anyone I know. Lets put it this way: There is not enough good that I can say about Dr. Barr and his office. Ive already gone through being totally dissatisfied with Sage Dental. He is the antithesis of what they are not; honest, funny, does great work, and is as human as they get. Palm Beach Smiles was great! Everyone in the office was professional and it seemed like they all really enjoyed what they do and who they do it for. They take great care of their patients, from refreshments in the waiting room, appointment reminders, and their communication to their service and and explanations of what happens next. I highly recommend you check them out!

I have been a patient of Dr. Barrs for about six months and within those six months he has completely renewed my teeth and my smile and made my teeth look beautiful! I have always had severe dental anxiety, but Dr. Barr and his amazing staff have made me comfortable and relaxed at every appointment. Dr Barr is an expert in his field (and I never use that word lightly) and the results are there: my teeth were re-aligned in 5 months. I like that he is truly passionate about his art, very approachable, and everyone in his practice is friendly and supportive. I did enjoy all my visits there, I actually was looking forward to go to the dentist! The fees are reasonable, and it is just another reflection of the no BS, no arrogance, caring atmosphere at Palm Beach Smiles. I very rarely endorse anyone publicly, but Dr Barr rocks!

I am a RN with over 40 years experience in the healthcare realm and I highly recommend this team. After moving to this area and leaving my dentist of 20 years I was nervous to say the least and I admit, I tried two other dentist before finding this awesome team. I am so grateful I found Dr. Barr and the team at Palm Beach Smiles. I cant say enough about how professional, compassionate and wonderful this group is. Totally painless and so very easy to work with.

I would give this DR zero stars if i had the option. Made an appointment for my husband who wanted one specific tooth looked at. After maybe one minute of the DR looking at his teeth my husband respectfully said its just one tooth i want looked at This DR slammed his equipment on the table and yelled i cant do this is am i the dentist or are you!? Then went to his office and slammed the door like a child! My husband and even the assistants in the room were extremely confused! We were not sure what happened. Mind you we were only there for a couple minutes!!! And he was literally with the Dr for maybe one minute! I recommend never wasting your time or money here. This man is extremely rude. He Does not know how to speak to people and will walk out on a appointment if he doesnt like you. Please do not be fooled by all these friendly reviews this man is not worth the effort (we made) to go see him. We do not live close at all, we took off work and made an early appointment, for him to just slam his equipment down and leave?

Dr. Barr and his staff are friendly and thoughtful. They provided excellent service in my emergency situation (as a new patient) after the hurricane when much of Florida did not have power. They fixed me up on the spot and I was on my way knowing I have a new dentist after having just relocated from Canada.

Unlike my many previous experiences with dentistry, Dr. Barr really did get me numb before drilling and the resulting work is just beautiful. I NOW am happy to go to his office instead of needing 5 martinis. His staff is efficient and friendly.

My wife went to see Dr. Barr with an ongoing issue that was causing her pain. The tooth in question had been root canaled multiple times and Dr. Barr told her there was something more serious going on than a simple root canal. He made an appointment, for her to see an endodontist he highly recommended, the next day. That doctor, Dr. Silberman was completely detached and did not care that he was inflicting additional pain on my wife. He also said that the problem was a simple, unfinished root canal. My wife left that office in tears and went back to Dr. Barr to discuss the issue. The assistant in Dr. Barrs office wouldnt let her talk to the doctor, despite her offering to wait as long as necessary. A few hours later, Dr. Barrs assistant called to let my wife know that he agrees with everything Dr. Silberman said.!!! I sent her to Dr. Barr because of the great reviews about how caring and involved he is, and he proved to be neither of those things. Anyone going to see him, should not be influenced by his reviews, and should not go out of their way (like we did) for his services.
