Beware of agent Ben Ornelas, do not get your taxes done by this agent. He made a huge mistake on my girlfriends 8962 tax form submitted to the irs and promised her a tax return of x amount of dollars and took her $99 payment. 4 months later of investigating and researching we figured out the mistake and he was very rude and has refused to provide her a copy of the amended return of his screw up. In all honestly i dont think he cared he showed no sympathy and i think he just wanted his $99 commision. If you want peace of mind knowing your taxes are being done properly and in a professional manor do not see Ben Ornerlas he is the most unresponsive tax agent i have ever encountered in my entire life!

Once they get youre money youre nothing to them not even a return phone call the excuse is shes with a client well Ive been patient am I not a client also or since my return is filed I no longer matter??

I have neverhad direct contact with this business. I had a couple come to me with a letter from the IRS stating they owed approximately 4000 dollars due to unreported income. That in itself is common. The problem came when they could not get a complete copy of the original return with supporting documents from this company.The return was completed incorrectly. The couple is married and have a son. She is on ss disability, he is employed w2 income only.The return has a filing status of HOH. The wife was added as the child care provider under her ssn which gave the tp a credit. The tp was also set up in a business giving him a loss of over 8000 totally bogus.With these figures the tp was eligible for eic as well as ctcThe preparer not only broke the law for not providing a complete copy of the return but several other findable offences.I have advised the couple to file a complaint to the IRS stating the reasons he should be fined as well as banned from tax preparring.i will eventually get this corrected for the couple but in the meantime, we wait.I would stay as far away from this preparer as possible.
