Got in & out quickly without an appointment. They had recommendations, but were not pushy. Great value with coupon.

Great service and value! All 3 bays were filled and had lines of 2 vehicles outside. They did everything possible to get people thru quickly. They sent a team member to check those in line outside the bays and discussed what services were needed and then did the basic auto checks outside such as lights and wipers. Everyone was professional, efficient, and pleasant. The price was also reasonable .

I’m a long time Valvoline customer. I was headed home a few months ago and my car had gone about 500 miles over its scheduled oil change. I decided to stop by this location and get that done.They offered a myriad of services, but my car only needed an oil change. I’m on top of its maintenance and everything except the air filter looked ok. So I had them replace the air filter too.Five weeks later, my car gives me an alert that the oil life was at 10%. That can’t be. I remember them telling me to reset the sensor five weeks earlier after the oil change. I check the oil and it was indeed overdue. I got underneath the car, and the filter had the date from its previous service, about 6 months earlier. They didn’t perform either service, but charged me over $70 for it. I checked the air filter, just in case. At least they did replace that.I will never stop by here again.

I always enjoy bringing my baby here for service. Today, I witnessed a treat. New staff in training. The lead did such a through job explaining the process to the new staff, I purchased additional services. Keep up the great job young men.

Terrance and his team was quick, polite and professional. A+ for military discount. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. You stay in your car with their service. Kinda blew me away to be honest. Oil changes have come a long way. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Stopped by this place for an oil change. Chose this one over others in the area, because it had a high rating. Service was great. They dont have a line, but they keep track of cars as they come in, so you dont need to worry about your place in line. I was in and out quickly. And they didnt try to upsell me, which I appreciate. Great staff that worked together as a team. 10/10 recommend ☺️

The guy that attended to me gave me a big discount and didnt shy away from telling me what my car needed and telling me what they cant do. When he realized her couldnt rotate my tires because of a swollen he took it off my bill which is very much appreciate it. This is not a place that will try to charge you secretly for something that wasnt done, and they do not upcharge women - the proof is on the computer as they put everything in and you can see what they are doing!

Took my Impala in 8/10/21, just for an oil change. First time there. Everything went fine, but next day, for the first time since I have owned my car, the check oil level soon came up on my dash. Never saw it before with any oil change prior to this place. Hoping its just because I need to top up. But whatever their process was, ended up with this light coming on. Will not use this service again.

They did a great fast oil change today

I took my Cadillac XT5 to the Valvoline instant oil change location in Bowie MD for an oil change a few weeks ago. Over the weekend I noticed oil accumulating in my garage. I took my vehicle back to Valvoline and informed the mechanic of the leak, she had one of her coworkers check underneath the car for the leak. In a matter of two minutes she informed me the leak was from the cars frame, which I found hard to believe. I took my car to the Cadillac dealership in Annapolis MD and they informed me the oil filter wasnt installed correctly. I called the Valvoline office and informed them that the oil filter wasnt installed properly, the representative I spoke to took my information and put me on hold. After a few minutes a guy came on the line and asked me to explain the situation again, 30 seconds later the call dropped. Although Valvoline has all of my info in their system, I didnt receive a call back from them. I wont be going back to Valvoline for any more service.

The guys are great, work well together, got me in and out quickly and did a excellent job, Ill come back again.

They always do a great job. Although my complaint this day was that they did not honor my coupons. I guess they forgot.I hope this does not happen again. Otherwise they always have fantastic service.

The staff was very nice and friendly they had a lot of good information the young lady was super kind and motivated me to get the air filter she was very thoughtful and even showed me my old air filter for a comparison . Super awesome my new oil place.

I absolutely love this place. I bought a new car in 2020 and let the dealer do the first oil change which turned out to be a mistake ! The dealer over filled the oil. Fast forward to my next oil change and I chose this place based off someone else’s experience. They were the best, fast and efficient. The guy showed me where the oil was on the dip stick, asked if I had any questions and was super professional. I believe his name was ERIC. I definitely recommend !!!

Listen, I don’t know what those ladies and gentlemen at Valvoline did to my car, but when I tell y’all they got me vehicle RIGHT? I mean they got me Right! Not only did they give me a discount for my services but somehow they ended up solving a trimmer I’ve had in my tire and steering wheel for over a year. I’m sure my car just needed basic maintenance but when I realized my car wasn’t shaking anymore I literally screemed! They also put on a new lugnut on one of my tires! The experience was just all around amazing and I’m so happy that my car runs smoother!

I went there a couple months ago to get an oil change and we drove back home and parked it on a level surface to check the oil and it was very low so i had to buy another quart to top it off. They stripped some of my skid plate bolts and I also discovered an oil filter wrench they left sitting on the skid plate. I had driven about 250 miles before discovering it. I do not trust them at all but the service was pretty good I just think they have absolutely no idea what they are doing

Bad Experience! It was my turn to enter the bay but i was told to wait until the vehicle next to me was able to go first because they arrived before me. I informed The Location Manager that this was not true as the person entered the parking lot BEHIND ME. The Location Manager did not apologize for being wrong, however instead told me that I could either leave and come back another time or just wait my turn. I further explained to her that it wasnt fair as I saw 2 other cars that entered after me receiving service prior to myself, at which point she again did not acknowledge me. I have this incident on video because I was in fear that something could happen to my vehicle due to her demeanor towards me. Ive used this location for not only my vehicles in the past, but my wifes vehicle, and my mothers vehicle from time to time. This was extremely disappointing and TERRIBLE management qualities by this Location Manager, as she deemed herself.

I went here to this location a few months back because I needed my headlights replaced. I got there right when they opened on a Saturday, they were super friendly, fast and professional. I had never heard of this place but would definitely return if I needed something quick and reasonably priced. ***Just a tip - this place is first come, first served and they stay packed so if you need something done and dont want to wait, then be there as close to opening time as possible. Its not their fault that they stay busy, its a sign of good business!!***

Amazing place! Come here, do not go to Jiffy Lube down the road! I started there first and left after a 20 min wait watching three employees just standing around. The Valvoline employees are so friendly and fast while still being thorough and not making the job feel rushed. I pulled in to a line of 3 cars and within 8 min I was in. Very clean place!!

As a first time customer I did not feel Welcomed from the moment I pulled up and received terrible customer service! Do not go to this location.I came to the Bowie location and one of the employees told me to pull in to the far left garage. Upon pulling in Ayanna started to display an attitude and says “so we just...” and stopped her sentence and kind of flapped her hands up because I pulled in but one of the other employees on the outside told me to which is what I told her and she says “come on” as she directed me further into the garage. She asked a series of questions but I can feel people’s energy and I can tell she was not happy performing her job. After she told me the total I told her the card I had at the time didn’t have enough and I will be back this weekend. She just looked at me and didn’t say anything else, not okay, have a good day nothing ..just an attitude for no apparent reason. I left.I then come back on the weekend and there was a car in the far left garage and noticed no one was in her lane so I pulled up to her lane but she points to the far left lane and rolls her eyes as if I really did something to her. So I pulled in to the lane she points to. As I’m pulling in Cahlyl is yelling saying you can’t do that. I ask what did I do & as he’s telling me I can’t just pull in (after Ayanna pointed to lane to pull into) Ayanna is mumbling under her breath to him as she’s looking at me so I asked “what did you say?” She says “see” talking to Cahlyl. So I’m a little upset now because I don’t know what the girl had against me but I didn’t like the energy.Once I further pulled In Cahlyl was trying to keep talking about me pulling in but I was in a rush so I told him I understood the first time and proceeded to tell them my information and what service I needed to expedite the process when Takesha, the manager comes. I tell her I don’t want to have a conversation I just want my oil change & I won’t be back and she tries to force the conversation which created more tension as I’m telling her I don’t have the time.My car door was slightly open and Cahlyl asked me to shut my door so as I’m trying to shut it takesha tries to close it. Because I tried to shut my door at the same it prevented her from closing so Cahlyl says “ma’am I’m going to ask you one last time to calm down” I say “ I’m not even doing anything “ I was literally silent in my car at this point ...she then tried to deny service because I was speaking firmly. She said I was being hostile but i said I didn’t curse, yell, threaten anyone, or got out my car. I was expressing I’m in a rush, didn’t want to talk, and that I need an oil change. Once I state I need a oil change, Cahlyl repeatedly says “we already said we weren’t doing your oil change”. I told takesha briefly why I was upset And she says that’s why she wanted to talk but my whole thing is you can’t be mad if someone doesn’t want to talk. She then storms off snatched something off my car and said she will do the oil change and she was reporting my case. After she leaves Ayanna starts laughing . I state That is the reason I’m upset ..Cahlyl is ready for payment but says he can’t honor my coupon I tell him he can and that I stated in the beginning I have a coupon. He takes payment oil change is complete so I begin to pull off he says “you’re doing it again” not sure what but I was simply just pulling off.The staff was unprofessional and I will never come back there and will never recommend Valvoline. To anyone, ever.

Stopped here hoping to get a quick oil change on my way home from work. The staff was extremely friendly and respectful. They also seemed to get along with one another and worked really well as a team. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes!

The technician was very professional and attentive. Did not have me to wait two hours as some places. Just drove up and you could see them check you fluids and also tell you a diagnosis about your car.

I missed my appointment at the dealership for a full synthetic oil change and so I decided to give this place a try. Very friendly and professional staff, definitely will be coming back. They got me in and out within 30 minutes.

Got an oil change on June 5th. I noticed they had trouble removing a bolt to the under carriage protector, because I was seating in the truck while the did the oil change. The service person also told me about what was happening because I asked, when I noticed they took too long. There were like three people that jumped in to help and it took longer then expected. I noticed something was wrong, but after a couple of minutes they finish the oil change and didnt even mention what had happened or why it took too long. I had to ask and the male said they had problems with a bolt but it was all good. I guess my mistake was trusting them and I regret not checking under the truck before leaving. I was visiting my son who is in the military and I actually live 1800 miles away in South Texas. When I got home I heard a rattling sound and when I took it to the dealership they told me that one of the bolds to the under carriage had been stripped and the warranty would not cover it. I cant believe they were not honest with me and let me drive back to Texas like that. Its not the damage to the bolt, but the principle behind it. I hope their lack of honestly is not a reflection of their leadership.

Ive been going here for about a year. Staff tells me it really matters when you arrive, but I have not found the right time. The wait is always a half hour or more. Sometimes they can do a tire rotation, but expect to wait for that too. Sometimes you cant. Not sure why.The staff are polite and dont try to hard to upsell. Shop around, but if you cant find a better location, these folks will do.

I stopped in on my way to a family members home. I work a lot of long hours and this was the only way I could figure out how I could work in an oil change over the next several weeks. All 4 bays were open and all 4 bays had cars in them and cars waiting behind them. So I randomly picked a bay like all the other cars. When it was my turn after waiting in the line, the person tells me to back up to allow another car 2 bays over to go. So I left without an oil change.This happens to everyone including myself at stores where you pick a line and sometimes the one you pick is the slow one... but I have never been told to get out of line to allow someone else to get their turn in. If this is how the company prefers to run things then they should have cars form a single file line where they wait for the staff to guide them to the next open bay. I sat and waited my turn for nothing because of this. Either set up some cones and form a single file line for cars so everyone is taken in the order they arrived OR allow each bay to just run through the line they have in front of them. But to rearrange cars and have people waiting thinking they are next only to be moved down the line is ridiculous.I will find somewhere else for my oil change.

Great service, not congested like Jiffy Lube. They close at 8 pm which I love. Be warned, and definitely cautious when entering and exiting. The traffic is in close proximity to the highway. Great staff too. Kudos to Kofi and Meme.

I enjoy the convenience of not having to leave my car especially since I have issues walking. The manager ( Ebony ) is very professional and takes pride in their work but more importantly, she makes sure her customers are satisfied. I love how they demonstrate teamwork. And they actually seems to like what they do, and when you enjoy your work, you are usually pretty darn good at it! KUDOS to Bowie Valvoline team for outstanding customer service and excellent work!

This staff is fantastic! First time here and they were polite and friendly, patient with my questions. I love how well they communicate with each other and their banter (still very professional, but you could see the good chemistry within the team).Sivenson answered my questions patiently, while Kevin and Robert worked efficiently on my car. He explained what services are recommended based on mileage and what is recommended in my situation and also helped me understand what the services meant. I felt like he offered me suggestions without pressuring an upsell. Ive had terrible experiences elsewhere as I felt talked down to or pressured. But not here! Phenomenal customer service.I will absolutely return. Any place can change your oil but the staff is what determines where I go and I definitely enjoyed my brief time there! Great job!

Absolutely amazing service here, everyone was so helpful. We recently acquired a rental and soon after the oil change light came on, we took it over to Valvoline and explained the situation.After running through the oil options they happily talked us though and stated that a oil change may not be needed and that the oil light just needed resetting, after checking with the rental company the oil change wasn’t necessary.They happily helped us through resetting the light and we were on our way, they were confident and helpful and never once did we feel pressured that the oil change was needed.

Understaffed the morning I went in. A gentleman named Steve who appeared to be a manager explained the situation and helped change my oil and two other folks. While it did take longer than usual, the customer service was fantastic. I have been here before under normal staffing circumstances and they do make true to the 15 minute promise. Thank you, Steve!

The service is always friendly and quick. The price is a bit expensive, and the coupons are usually $7-$10 dollars off, coupons are on their website for anyone to access. They always check your washer fluid, tire pressure, and overall car functioning. I recommend going to a Valvoline and especially this one I have yet to have a problem with the staff or my car.

I love the concept of a drive thru oil change! No need to put off an oil change when you dont have child care lined up. Stop at the nearby restaurant get the kiddos a meal and go right to Valvoline. While they eat, the staff takes care of the oil change or most any other routine scheduled maintenance items you want. Where have you been all my life? Im not sure, but Im glad Ive got you now.

I went to the Bowie location yesterday and the service was remarkable! I arrived around 730 which is close to closing time. These men were exceptionally professional and explained detail by detail every step of the way.I wish I got the name of my technician because he was phenomenal. Kudos to whomever runs this site because this place is the Chick Fil A of Oil Change 🙂This was my first time have service with Valvoline and I will definitely be a returning customer!

For a 1st time, it has been a disappointment. I am going back and forth to the place since my 1st visit to that shop.1st it was missing screws that hold the critical engine item they didnt put back in and after noticing weird engine noise for a couple of days, i drove all the way back to the shop for them to put in the missing screws. Sadly that day, the item got damaged and i am still expecting the replacement from the shop. A quick oil change I thought it was going to be but.....

Fast, friendly folks. Explained everything before performing service. Before you go I recommend calling to check the price and in the process you should be asked if you would like a $15 off coupon. Every little bit helps right! In and out in less than 15 minutes and I would recommend the to anyone who asks!

Valvoline is great and always very thorough when I take my truck in to get the oil changed. I like the coupons they send me to keep me coming back and occasionally they provide veterans like myself with free oil changes on specified dates. Thanks.
