First of all, Planet Fitness Bowie is a very clean business. This is most important. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Planet Fitness Bowie has a large variety of equipment to accommodate the constant numbers of customers. This business is located in a shopping center where people can complete their day by dining or other types of shopping. I definitely recommend Planet Fitness Bowie.

I love that the app tells you in real time how crowded the gym is. The staff have always been kind and helpful and I rarely have any issues with broken or worn out machinery. I also travel a lot for work and if my lodging doesnt have a gym, theres usually a Planet fitness within 20 minutes. The staff does regular cleaning/disinfecting throughout the day and most of the people exercising regularly wipe down the machines before and after use. Clean, affordable, accessible and kind are all I could ever ask for out of a gym :-)

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have multiple options for the machines so you’re not waiting around losing momentum. They attract a variety of people in all fitness levels so you never feel singled out.

Bowie Planet Fitness is a convenient and 24 hour fitness center. That is clean with a friendly and positive environment. The low monthly fee is also a bonus.

Gym in Bowie is always hot af in the weight lifting area. I tell the staff and nothing ever changes. They have huge fans over the cardio area but small dinky fans over the weights. They seem to not understand or care how hot people get working out. Plus I have a disorder where my body doesnt sweat so I cant cool off easily, so sometimes I cant even finish my workout in there. Stay away if you dont like hot a$$ uncomfortable workouts.

This Planet fitness does a good job of staying clean and covid safe or at least as best as possible. I have been twice since the pandemic and I havent had an issue with staff or members. Wipe down stations are easy to find and always have supplies

Its a very nice energy to working in. A group aclelclatic people from varies age groups. The front desk always speaks to you.comming in and going out very professional.That type of customer services goes a long way in a setrated gym market and trying recovery from the covid closing of a lot business.

The staff is very friendly, but not very helpful. The equipment is well maintained, but erases your workout summary as soon as you hit cool down so its harder to track. Hydro massage is awesome, the weird vibrating light box is confusing to operate but its surprisingly pleasant, especially when youre coming in right out of the cold. For the average person trying to just get in shape or stay in shape its great, and definitely get the black card membership, totally worth it.

Great place to workout, very spacious, just wish they had different weightlifting options and equipment. They also need more HIIT training equipment.

I would add this. While Ive never personally had any issues with staff, facilities, etc., I note that there are some members whose comments point to negative issues with staff members. The owners response seems to, uniformly, be that the member reach out to management with problems, issues, etc. (and by management, I would assume that hes referring to staff management there in the gym, not corporate management). However, if the problem IS a staff member, or members, wouldnt it make more sense for the owner to meet with either the gym member and/or the offending staff member(s) to really get to the bottom of any problem(s)?

Worst customer service experience I have had all my life!!!!! Employees pick up the phone and cracking jokes at the back about the issues I was raising. Very rude . Actually made me feel reluctant to gym instead of encouraging people to come often. Have not been able to get myself to go to the gym for two weeks now because of the incident.

Its clean, the staff is always friendly and its not overcrowded so I feel safely spaced out during my covid workouts.

I enjoy going to Planet Fitness. The staff at the Bowie, MD is great. The whole layout and design is spectacular. Only thing I would recommend is a health smoothie/protein shake station. Every so often you offer a free smoothie/protein shake to members when leaving the gym as a promotion. Who knows maybe a Vitamin shop and Planet Fitness can link up and they can over that in the near future.

The Covid-19 safety measures are impeccable!

My favorite part about PF Bowie is that it is EXTREMELY CLEAN! Staff are constantly wiping down and even dusting machines. It has a great layout. Equipment is well spaced. All of the staff are super nice and welcoming. Especially, Hunter, who is the best trainer ever!

I had the most pleasant visit at this Planet Fitness. I went in just to get some information for my sister about the Teen Summer Program for my sister. We were greeted by the wonderful, informative sales rep Christina. Shes amazing!!!! By the time showed us the gym we both ended up getting memberships. And the gym was super clean. I cant wait to start working out :)

We love this gym. We are there almost every morning, helping our young adult son who has autism get his exercise -- everyone is chill and we feel comfortable. It would great if the place had a Family Toilet, since that would allow easier assistance of an opposite gender person, without rocking the boat in the locker room! It would be great to have ONE TV screens showing PEACEFUL NATURE scenes! Not raunchy news and dumb TV shows.But we are still grateful to have it.

The Bowie location has always been welcoming and all the trainers are very uplifting and motivating! I have had a great experience until this evening unfortunately. I recently moved to an area that doesn’t have a Planet Fitness location, which is perfectly understandable. I am located in a very rural area now. I had called a few weeks ago acquiring about canceling my membership, the gentleman I spoke with informed me I had no cancellation fee seeing that I had been a member since 2016 and “to just come in to cancel and you won’t have to pay anything”. I was fine going in to cancel especially not having a cancellation fee, so I made the hour and a half drive to do so in person to be told I had a cancellation fee!! All I can say is that I was very disappointed, I was under the impression that Planet Fitness went above and beyond for their members. Had I been informed Correctly I wouldn’t have made the drive to cancel. Hoping someone will correct tia issue, but from how it was this evening I highly doubt it. Happy Holidays!

I love this Planet Fitness!!! The equipment is organized exactly how I need it to be for whatever Im doing. Its always clean and well stocked. The staff is pleasant, helpful and very attentive to your needs. The people are respectful of your space but willing to help if they feel you need it. There are a lot of elderly people and a few handicap people that come at the same time as I and Ive seen not only the staff assist them but people working out as well.

Love the choice of weights and emptiness of it as well. Golds is always crowded and half the people wear their masks incorrectly.

I like this gym and been coming here for years. In this current environment, I would like to see staff enforce the mask rule with those walking around. It makes me uncomfortable each time where I am reconsidering at this time to continue visiting.

The Bowie location is awesome. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Since I joined the club in August 2018, I have lost 4 dress sizes. Craig, Sam Josh and Hunter encourage me every time I walk through the doors. The gym is always clean especially the bathrooms. I have never seen a broken machine. Everything I need is here and some. Make the switch. Planet Fitness in Bowie is it!!!!!

The best, most comfortable gym in the area. Has everything you would need.

Going on two months without a mens bathroom/locker room. Been closed for renovations for too long, its pathetic. Every week I ask and the scripted answer is two weeks. Front desk employees rarely smile. Only a select few. Equipment is fine, usually dont have to wait to use a machine or bench. Low key atmosphere. No quality complaints other than the renovations. They are obviously laying one tile per day.

I go to this facility about twice a week. I have been a member for at least a year and a half.Its always very clean. I regularly see staff going around and making sure the equipment is in working order and clean. The staff are also friendly and efficient.They are currently going through a remodeling and have done everything they can to make sure the gym is still usable.The social environment is very calm, too. Everyone takes to heart the belief that none of this is a competition and the no judgement zone mentality.

I’ve been to several PF locations through Florida, Texas, and Maryland and the Bowie location is my favorite by far! It looks brand new! The entire gym was very clean. The front desk is always super nice. Josh is my favorite! He is always happy and positive! I will continue to use this location!

I came to this location to sign up and I waited at the front desk for a few minutes. There was only one staff member at the front desk, he looked overwhelmed. When finally he had a minute for me, he told me that he can not give me a tour, that I had to come back later and he gave me a package. I am really disappointed because I visited PF at the Silver Spring South location and they have great staff and customer service. I was expecting the same here in Bowie. I am thinking twice about coming back.

The staff here are nice. The only drawback for me is that for Black Card members such as I, when I have a guest I’d like for them to be able to enjoy the massage rooms with me. What PF fails to realize that of my guests enjoy this amenity they may sign up to be BC members on their own if they are able to at least try it. Marketing 101...😏

Planet Fitness in Bowie is on of theee best facility I have been to. Alex and the staff are amazing always smiling and courteous. Hunter is a phenomenal trainer. I have been to several location across the states and Canada, and I have extremely enjoyed coming this location.

I swear by gym... definitely my favorite of all the Planet Fitness in my area. Always clean, great customer service and personal training services, tons of machines so you never really have to wait for anything. But best of all is the people and strong sense of community that the members have. They are courteous, friendly and take pride in their gym.

The group fitness classes at PF in Bowie are really good! Nicole and Kyle have different styles, and the variety keeps the week challenging and fun. The staff is always very nice and accommodating and the place is always clean. Quite the bang for your buck!

I have multiple gym memberships but spend more time at Planet Fitness than anywhere else. The staff is friendly, the gym is kept clean and they are open 24x7. I wish the gym was bigger and had more free weights but those aren’t complaints just suggestions. They provide an excellent workout environment, with doors always open and friendly staff. I highly recommend it to family and friends.

The staff are attentive and ready to help with any concerns. The facility is welcoming and clean. All of their equipment is running properly and they offer everything for every fitness junkie. I would highly recommend this location to others looking for a gym in the Bowie area.

I love the fact you are everywhere I travel!! I do wish you would add a punching bag stands for kickboxing classes & scales so that we can track or progress. It would be nice if we could weigh ourselves!!!

Love this place! Cant beat the price! Stay way from the bagels and pizza. My friend has lost 20 pounds in 3 months by walking 2 miles per day on the treadmill. Shes able to go after work without worrying it closing. highly recommend and price cant be beat!

I came to the Bowie Planet Fitness today. Everyone was friendly and had great positive energy! The Manager, Craig was helpful and the other staff greeted everyone with smiles! In addition, the bathroom was clean and very well kept. Definitely would recommend, Planet Fitness of Bowie, MD!

It’s ok, good gym. It would just be nice if there was a sauna or a pool, not having both is fine but one or the other would be nice. They could also use more equipment but other than that I have had nothing but good service there.

N0 Bagels or coffee on 12/10 . Membership agreement states this will be offered on the second Tuesday of each month. Employees acted like so, we just dont have them today. Not even an apology or explanation.
