This turned out to be the worst experience ever I called Stanley steamer in Bully Maryland I was d with $294 for 3 bedrooms an additional room stairs living room and then when the 2 gentlemen arrived they were wonderful Mike was his name and his partner knowledgeable friendly is Lil friendly however the information they received from the call center was incorrect then they told me I should call the main number but when I went to the actual Stanley steamer and bowie it still had the call center number I also spoke with Joshua the manager of buoy and he was very rude he offered no compensation is station and although I start although I thought with the 2 gentlemen who were treating me fair and I then decided that I would go ahead and get grout work done in my kitchen along with air duct on another occasion because they were so professional however I now have to go someplace else because they tagged on so many prices for rooms that they didnt even add on to my original order and Joshua was no help dimissoves a 0 for me and Im very disappointed its a sham and its unfortunate during these times I will never use them again and I will let everyone know bowie location

We use Stanley streamer pretty often and have yet to have a less than satisfying experience. However, this will be our last time using this service as I am no longer comfortable with the staff in my home. I needed a quick service to be performed as a mom of two I wanted to keep the house clean but no time to deep clean. The reps that came to my home were not efficient, constantly asked me question s and sales pitched me on so many items I cant remember, finally the rooms I had cleaned were so wet it took two whole days to dry completely. My carpet does not look clean and there is now a mildewy odor. I dont write reviews but Im sad to say I will be looking for another cleaning coming for my next service.

Michael and Shawn did a fantastic job cleaning the carpets in my wholehouse. Carpet is old, original with the house 1995. they made the carpetlook clean and brighter. They were very careful moving my furniture. Both men were professional, explaining how they cleaned the carpet, included the deodorizer and carpet protection shield, and how they cleaned the sofa. My bill was reasonable for the big job done. I recommend Michael and Shawn, a good team.Diane

I highly recommend Stanley Streamer of Bowie. These guys do THE VERY BEST JOB. Ladies, they move every piece of furniture, so that every nook and cranny is clean. They lift and move your draperies to expose the baseboards. Your home is so clean when they are done. I am a self professed clean freak, and I am telling you, my home has never been cleaner. The young men who cleaned my rugs did a good job. Their arrival was well within the time frame given, they were very professional and took the time to explain what they were going to do and the products they use. Of course they did the sales pitch of other services offered. But that was ok. I was concerned about them using too much water and the rugs would be too wet, but they werent at all. I would use them again for rug cleaning and plan to use them for my furniture cleaning.

Steve Sagnani came out this morning and cleaned my living room furniture. I bought it in 2006 and have taken very good care of it, but, WOW, I absolutely could not believe it. It looks nearly as good as the day I bought it 16 years ago! I had been thinking about giving it to my kids for their LR but I think Ill keep it a few more years. Great work. Steve was very professional and polite, and he also wore a mask to be safe. Many, many thanks for a great job.

I initially contracted to have upholstery cleaned then added carpet cleaning. When the technician inspected the furniture to be cleaned he said that he could not clean it because it could possibly be damaged. I truly appreciated his honesty. The carpet was cleaned beyond my expectations (high traffic area and pets). Thank you for a job well done!

I have used Stanley Steemer’s in the past and have always had a great experience, this time not so much. They were more than an hour late, but I did receive a call that they were delayed on another job. As instructed, I removed all breakable items from tables, etc. to allow them to move furniture for cleaning. They did not move the sofa in the setting area of my bedroom, nor the console table and night stands. I was as already charged double for the basement in the estimate(the technician over the phone said he’d rather price high at the time of ordering then to have to add on the day of service). Well when the cleaning technicians arrived they wanted to charge me an extra $25 for the room. Therefore I had to reduce the area for them to clean to stay within the high price already quoted. The areas of carpet that they did clean were not thoroughly cleaned. I did manage to point out a couple of things before they left. However within a week of their cleaning, the carpets appeared not fully cleaned. I have only been in my newly constructed home a little shy of two years. The carpets were not close to filthy. I just wanted to have the. Professional cleaned to ensure better air quality removing dust, light soil, etc. Wow… I simply think they just dumped water onto the carpet and sucked it up. This is the worst experience I have had with ANY carpet cleaning service. …and not to move basic small furniture….

I definitely thought my carpets would look cleaner than what it turned out to be. Guy said unfortunately he cant do anything about the dark spots. My house is not a run down home at all but I just needed to clean a little deeper. But I didnt get what I was looking for, could have done it for myself.

Jon and Brandon were very professional, absolutely did a fantastic job! Everything we requested was completely done in a very clean, professional manner. We even added our kitchen tile to be cleaned, and that turned out like it was just put down. Grout is back to bright white! Thank you guys!!

Overall great experience. Did 2 sets of stairs and a hallway in less than an hour. Will be using their services again!

Overall, the service was satisfactory; however, the problem was with the senior technician. Early on, my husband had to remind him to don his face mask around me which did, but only after my husband mentioned that his company, Stanley Steemer, insisted we wear masks as the cleaning team would be fully masked up.Secondly, the senior tech starting pitching added services before he even started the job. My husband responded that we just wanted what we had scheduled which was carpet cleaning. After the senior tech began cleaning the carpet in the master bedroom, he approached me to try and sell me additional services to which I also responded that we didnt want anything additional other than what was scheduled.Once the senior tech finished the master bedroom, he literally left the cleaning machine in a guest bedroom and walked off. His partner took over and cleaned the guest bedroom, the hallway, two staircases, the landing and the great room area.Apparently, after my husband left the room, the senior tech took it upon himself to approach me while I was sitting out on the deck to pitch wood floor cleaning services with the offer of a demo and 50.00 discount.It appeared that the senior tech felt comfortable enough to by-pass my husband to accost me in area where he should not have been. His actions were both incredibly offensive and disrespectful to us as the home owners. He seemingly treated our home with a sense of familiarity that he was not entitled to. By the end of the day, my husband chose to deal with the second tech and refused to allow the senior tech back into our home.

I have used Stanley Steemer for years and have even used them to clean my Parents home carpet. Although this locations Techs have never serviced my carpet cleaning, I was very much disappointed in the work. The Tech seemed to be more concerned with making a sale to me for the products he was offering for purchase than how he was doing the job. When told I was not pleased with the cleaning he talked about high traffic area and the carpet did not have a lot of high traffic areas. I even pointed out to him the difference where no traffic walked in comparison. He had no response and so I said I will see what happens when it dries. His response was yeah! see when it dries. I will possibly try some other company for fear of getting this same person again and paying for a job that was not worth the price of the cleaning.

Canceled upon arrival after I waited all morning for them to arrive. They assumed there was damage from a storm as opposed to asking if something had been spilled. I was washing the windows and some water slipped in through the screens, wish they would have been more professional and did a little more research. I assume she since it was a holiday weekend they were trying to finish up as quick as possible by any means necessary despite how inconvenienced the customer would be in the long run. Will never use nor recommend again.

The SS techs were nice and professional. I would not recommend cleaning linen upholstery, it doesn’t come clean with Stanley’s techniques. Area rug came clean.

Absolutely fantastic service. I was Dog sitting a little Yorky and he Peed all over my dining room living room floor. Being a property manager for over 25 years I knew what to expect from a good carpet cleaning and what they provide is not it. First, all of their services are al a carte which gives them a lot of room to charge more for services such as deodorizing. They have no treatment at all for red stains. While I know its no guarantee to be able to remove red stains, most companies have something that they use to get them better at least.Quality: After the initial cleaning I had to call them back because several stains remained. I noticed how quickly the tech cleaned the stairs and after drying I saw why. They looked the same and the stair risers had not been touched at all. They didnt hesitate to come back out to reclean however, after the second clean we began to smell a horrible odor as if too much water was used. I was not thrilled about having to call them back again. I explained to the general manager that I had guests coming and wasnt happy that they had to come back a 3rd time. They came out and treated with an enzyme treatment for the odor which helped. They also left two carpet fans to ensure the carpet dried quickly and sufficiently. Unfortunately due to the carpet having to dry a 3rd time I had to find somewhere else for my guests to stay for a night.Customer Service: All of the techs were nice and personable. I appreciated their kindness. The woman that answers the phone for the office was no comfort or knowledgeable at all when I had to call back for the 3rd time. So much so I had to request to speak with the general manager who was helpful. Not one person even apologized for my inconvenience. I also dont appreciate is having to call back 3 times, use my electricity for the carpet fans, having to relocate my guests and I not be offered any kind of compensation for my inconvenience.I know for sure there are other companies out there that do way better jobs than I received and Im sure for less money. I paid almost $300 and had the worst experience ever. Use Stanley Steemer with caution.

I have a background in commercial cleaning services (including carpet cleaning) and from that background I am confident in saying that they did as good a job as I thought was possible. A few spots did not come up, but I didn’t expect them to; on the flip side, overall they did work miracles on the majority of the carpet — better than I expected, better than another company that I had used several times in previous years. I’ll definitely use them again!

Such a great experience! Stanley steamer called me the day before to confirm my apt and gave me 8-1 arrival time. They called On way( as they said they would ) as well the day of apt. They showed up at about 9 am. Jason and his helper did an amazing job. Quick and easy. They got right to work. They also wore their masks the entire visit and were Very friendly and super hardworking. Made me very comfortable and respected in my home. After purchasing a house, I needed my airducts cleaned badly. There was dust and dog hair EVERYWHERE. Two techs came on time explained the process and got to work. My issue is, although they cleaned off the back of the return vent, I still needed to go back and clean my registers. I happened to look down at one a few days later and there was still dog hair and dust on it. Im not talking about a start hair or two, but the amount that people may dind in the corner after their dog had been running around. They were in and out in anout an hour. Which shocked me since the service representative said it should rake two to three hours. Never the less, it was better than before but it makes me question, what the service would have been like if I had hired them to clean my carpets, knowing there were pets previously in the house. Because they showed ke partvof thr ducts, I trusted everything was good to go. Lesson learned, spot check as they go.

I called to have my rental house cleaned after tenants moved out. 2 bedrooms (plus walk in closet), hall and stairs. They did a great job and it took about 1 hour.

Had Stanley steemer come out to clean a three-piece living room set.For the foremost they did a good job.But I was not happy with some of the areas that did not come clean.I was told that those areas are what they call worn spots. And they dont come clean.The spots did not look worn to me the spots was dirty. I believe if the technician that came out would have used other chemicals then just a spot remover spray bottle and a brush that these areas would have came clean.I had the technician clean the areas a couple of timesWhen I showed My unhappiness with those areas all I was told is that this is normal.I was not offered a discount or even offered an option for a deeper cleaning.I am on defense if I will consider using the service again.

I do not feel that they did a good job. Either its their workers or their product. The corners in the room and the transition areas from one room to another still look dirty and the high traffic areas look the same. Im very disappointed.

The technician was up front with me. He told me that because I had waxed/polished my Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, his cleaning would only remove the surface stains and dirt but COULD NOT remove the wax/polish previously applied.

I also like the fact that they use furniture protectors under your furniture to keep your furniture from getting wet during the drying period!

Not happy at all! We were scheduled to have carpets cleaned in three rooms, kitchen floor steam cleaned and upholstery cleaned on sectional and chair. A crew of ONE person arrived at 4:30 and was done at 6:30. Don’t think quality of work could have been or was as good as it should have been based on time it took. Based on this experience, would not recommend Stanley Steemer to anybody. Will have to consider whether we use them again. Also, had a coupon that we received by email but was told that he could not accept it because it was a “corporate” coupon and they are a franchise. Gave one star, only because 0 stars was not an option

The technicians did a fantastic job cleaning every carpet in my home that is being sold. The scheduler should have gotten the technicians there earlier in the day because the house was empty which meant some rooms did not have a light source and it got dark before they could finish. Plus we had to sit in an empty house all day waiting for them.

I had my carpet cleaned for the first time with Stanley Steemer yesterday which was 09/01/20. Although the technician was extremely friendly and professional I would not use this service again. I got the basic $129.00 package to clean my bedroom and living room. Most stains were left in the carpet. Even though the stains are certainly lighter they are still very visible. I have had my carpet cleaned before by smaller companies and they did a much better job. Stanley Steemer was just mediocre. Lastly the technician tried to upsell me the entire time. I know this is a part of his job but other companies have not done that. All in all I got what I paid for.

I arranged a window of 2-6pm. They called at 12:30pm to advise they would like to head to my house immediately. When I advised I was not sure if we could accomodate, the person on the phone seemed very frustrating that I may not be able to accomodate. When they arrived they advised that the area cleaned was more than quoted and tried to upcharge approx $100. That would have been fine except both the technician at the house, and the person on the phone who called to move the appt time up were extremely rude, as if they were doing us a favor. No thanks - we will find someone else.

Was told we didnt need to vacuum that they would handle. The paper that was on the floor before I left was there when I returned home. Carpet still looks dirty. I called with dissatisfaction and rep rescheduled a follow for Monday.

Ron and Brian from Stanely Steemer just cleaned the carpet of several rooms, an area rug, staircase, hallway and also cleaned bathroom tile. They did an amazing job and were able to get out some pretty tough pet stains. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them!

The crew was professional however they scratched all of my freshly painted walls with their equipment. Not to mention they knocked down a painting that was hanging in my hallway. Now my husband and I have to go room to room to repaint the walls.
