I was really hoping I had found a good shop close to home. I even had a coupon and was going to go to the dealership, but decided to support a local small business instead as it was only a little bit more. I was given a price down to the cent for some maintenance including tax, but when my wife picked up the car they charged us $40 more than what I was quoted because they used more fluid than the computer said it would take. I went back and told them I had been quoted a lower price by the owner but make it right. They lost a customer over $40. ONE star for lousy customer service.

I went to Hammers today for an oil change. They did an incredible job they checked filters and were able to get things taken care of at a fantastic price. Their customer service was top notch. I have been in the customer service industry before, and they were professional and very friendly and upfront and honest. I recommend them to all they are fantastic.

I needed something done asap and they helped me out. And did the job quickly and a decent price. I appreciate what they did. Highly recommend these guys. Ill be going back when needed.

I was looking at buying new car down in the bountiful area, and off of the Google reviews and the Cartalk mechanic files decided on Hammers and so glad that I did. The car ended up being a bust, meaning that at any normal shop my new wife and I would have been out 50 bucks, which, for those of you who have forgotten your college days, is food for 2 weeks. Since it was a bit of a shady deal, or we just had nice faces (she does at least) he was kind enough to do the inspection for free. They both spent nearly half hour going over everything.The entire time he and his crew were going over the car they were keeping us updated on what was going on. They seemed very sincere and honest about the whole process. They walked us through everything that happened. He was very kind in letting my hopes down about a deal I thought that I had found.While we were there, two or three other customers came into the shop. All of them seemed to have total confidence in what Tod (who I believe is the owner) was saying. They had a personal relationship going, he knew their cars, and greeted them by name.I wish that I could use him more. I was very impressed and pleased with the experience that I had there.

First time at Hammers Automotive today! Was very impressed with the service I received. Inspected my vehicle for free and was honest about what needed work and how long I had to replace it. Gave me a very fair quote because I asked but was honest and said it did not need replaced today. When it it time to replace, I will definitely be back there to have the work done!

Hammers is one of those shops that you hesitate to tell your friends about, much less strangers, lest it get too busy and it gets hard to schedule our needs. Honest, fair, and polite. Great people there.Take your car there, but dont tell anyone else ;-)

I have been so impressed with Hammers Automotive. Ive taken my car there a few times for various reasons and every time theyve been more than fair and taken very good care of me. Its very hard to find an honest and reliable mechanic but I wont be taking my vehicles anywhere else.

Best place to go for any car issues. Prices are very fair and they are honest mechanics here. Also local. You could go to Jiffy Lube and get a half synthetic oil change for $90 or you can go here and get on for $40. They got an airfilter for my car and did an oil changed within 15 minutes and they are good about calling you back to let you know whats going on.

My 2000 Expedition started to puke out coolant from the bottom of the radiator. I needed a mechanic closer to home than my previous garage as I wasnt sure I could get there without any trouble. Todd and his techs were able to look at it that day, and get it fixed the next. He also found a couple of other issues and presented them to me as optional fixes. His prices were more than fair, and he and his guys were great to deal with. I am glad I now have a mechanic close to my house.

My relationship with Hammers Automotive began when a man came to my door selling coupons for oil changes. Since I am a sucker for a solicitor, I bought them. Turns out to be one of the best automotive related decisions I have made.I dont want to sound like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, I just want to express how helpful and honest and courteous they are.They have never tried to sell us anything that was not needed. We recently took in our Trailblazer because we were experiencing some hesitation when gassing it hard to merge on the highway. I was expecting to have to get new plugs and wires at the minimum. They told us that was not necessary, all we needed was some high grade fuel injector cleaner and to try changing to a higher quality fuel.In all my years dealing with automotive garages and the like, I have always felt like they were trying to pull something on me, get more money from me. I may be suspicious, but I know I am not the only one. Give these guys a try, they are a great group of guys who will do whatever they can to help you out.

Our tour van was acting up and we stopped in to have them take a look at it. They gave us a diagnosis and the problem was the alternator that was installed incorrectly by Firestone. These guys recommended we take it to Firestone since it would be under warranty. They also repaired some electrical components and connections to the battery - they did the diagnosis and repaired these parts FREE of charge. They were also super friendly and helpful! Go here next time you need a mechanic!

Got recommended to Hammers from a guy at a local tire shop. I had a great experience. Tod was extremely helpful, the waiting area was very clean, and, most importantly, I got a great price on my break job. I will definitely be going there again!

Took my car here, couldnt figure what the problem was. Tod figured out the problem and fixed it for a good price and was fast. I was satisfied with the prices and customer service. Will definitely be taking my car to Hammers from now on.

Hammer is nice, although hard to get in touch with. I feel like hes honest and does a good job on my vehicles.

Never steered me wrong and there alignments are far better then others. Id had my truck aligned twice by other shops and still had problems till they performed there magic and made my lifted truck drive like it was a new stock truck fresh off the lot

Replaced my engine mounts and general tune ups. Nothing was done with out talking to me. I thought they gave reasonable recommendations and good prices. I would come back.

The ball joints went out on my pickup. Todd replaced them, suggested at the time I go with the part with a lifetime replacement. Sure enough, six months later they went out again. He replaced the ball joints at no charge. I mean FREE -- no parts, no labor. Saved me $900. Best shop in town, probably the state.
