I rarely leave reviews but this place is great I’ve gotten in best shape I’ve been in years, open 24 hours, not crowded, and staff is nice
This place is so great!! I have been working out here for about 1 year. I love the charms of this small gym. The 24 hour access is super convenient. It has all the equipment I need and a great vibe.
Its a great clean and well maintained gym. Mixed age and gender of people. Come on in and check it out. See you there!
This is our neighborhood gym and we love the accessibility. The gym has great equipment and is kept very clean by the owners and fellow members alike. We love the separate workout spaces and the gym floor doesnt often get crowded.
I love this gym. Its an independent gym, well maintained and super clean. The people who run it are kind and friendly.
If youre looking for an exclusive gym that discriminates people with health issues from attending or becoming members; this is it.I followed all state & health mandates in accordance to the law and was treated so poorly. To have members police you, glare at you and judge you and to have a gym owner that supports those attitudes is atrocious.I work out so that I may live a healthier life than my genetics allow. Its also crucial for my mental health. There is no excuse for bullying at the gym, let alone at 5 in the morning. If you value inclusiveness, kindness, and logical reason; this is not the gym for you.No refund was provided to me whatsoever for the inexcusable behavior. Its also only as clean as the members keep it, which is not consistent.I will never go back.
Awesome facility, always clean and safe. Very fair price and very accessible with plenty of workout space at any hour, and the owners and fellow members are friendly and very considerate of each other. Highly recommend!
I attended this gym for roughly a year, and I have to say it’s been my absolute favorite. It’s locally owned, and you’ll often see Scott around. There’s a lot more care shown (in comparison to large chain gyms) in equipment quality, cleanliness, and overall aesthetic. It’s a 24hour gym, which comes in handy for people like me with complicated schedules. The members that have been attending this gym for a long time are friendly, and I’ve been able to enter alone at any time day or night and still feel safe(they also have cameras and everything you need in case of emergency). This gym has been a Boulder gem.
Great gym. Super clean and nice equipment. Owned by two really nice people and the community is always very friendly. Met two of my dearest friends here years ago. Excited to get back!
I really like this gym! They have a great assortment of equipment that is clean, the staff is respectful and the different workout areas are well laid out. My only complaint is that they dont have a seated calf raise machine. It would be awesome if you guys got one!
Horrible gym. Horrible service. Accused me about lying about giving my notice to cancel my membership. Also chased me down several times in the locker room demanding to know my name because they didnt believe I could afford a membership. Horrible gym. Horrible people.
This is a great gym, my only complaint is that the weightlifting room is crowded and its hard to maneuver or set up for certain lifting styles if there are more than 2 people in there. BUT they never had an issue with my migrating weights/bars to another room where there was more room, which I appreciated greatly! Great cardio room, plyometrics area, and variety of free-weights and machines to get in a well-rounded work-out.The gym is very clean and accessible at all hours. All in all I enjoyed my time here and only left because I moved out of state.
This is a great local gym. They have pretty much everything and some nice spin bikes too. Parking has never been a problem and its never crowded either. Rates are reasonable.
Love working out here. The owners are great and the place is always super clean. A good atmosphere with the other members and very knowledgeable trainers work out of here.
Been going to this gym for years now. Owners are community are great. Has all the equipment youd need. Would recommend
If you are looking for a no hassle gym that you can just slip into and do your thing then take off. Then you have just found it. Its super simple to sign up, you can give them a call or an e-mail and they respond within the same day every time we did. We came in, got set up with a plan, and were working out in minutes. The real pleasure though is that its literally just as easy to cancel. I am heading to another state for a job. I gave a voicemail saying I needed to cancel, and that very same day I got a response in my e-mail saying its been cancelled and Im good to go. I didnt even need to return the FOBs they provided. (I will though anyway :) )The gym itself has a great range of equipment from machines to free weights. It also has a fantastic open room with a lot of interesting objects, blocks, balls, bands, etc to work out with as well. I worked out usually around 10AM and 10PM. I never had a problem finding equipment to use and never had to wait. At 10PM though it was dead quiet. Which is great. The owners are ultra responsive, if a piece of equipment failed or something wasnt right they are on it usually in that day. There is also a bowl of tootsie roll pops... who doesnt love those?I will miss this place greatly.
For a few months it was alright. It was mostly clean. The equipment moderately good condition, lacking in some regards, but in keeping with membership pricing. I, as a woman, found it sometimes unnerving to be the only person in the space, with my headphones on, with often only 1 or 2 male clients there, with no actual contact person on site. One trainer in particular liked to mansplain things to me. I have been a fitness instructor, and worked as a massage therapist in quite a few fitness centers in my 20 year career. The assumptions that I needed things explained without my asking felt awful and condescending. I have also been a client/member at numerous gyms the past 20+ years. Of any gym I have belonged to, this was by far the most impersonal, and poorly run from an administration standpoint. Communication with the owners often went ignored. I was billed twice one month for no reason and no communication back about it when I inquired. I wrote to let them know my bank had replaced the card I had on file and asked how to submit a new one. No reply. But the owner made a point to chase me down mid workout a week later telling me my card had expired. When I wrote asking what was involved in changing to a 1 month contract, I got zero explanation but my billing automatically changed by the owner with a short email telling me he went ahead and did it, with a clause copied and pasted at the bottom of the email (that to my fault I did not see/read when I got his response) with a cancellation clause that is specified nowhere in the written contract I had. When My worked changed, 10 months into my membership and I asked to cancel, assuming I would be charged a cancellation fee, they told me I could not cancel and would be billed the remainder of the 12 months. So BEWARE. If you get a 12 month membership, and have an emergency, have to move etc, unlike most gyms, they do NOT give you a cancellation fee to break the contract. They will charge you the whole year. Even if you are a month in and have an unexpected life change. And had that been disclosed clearly PRIOR to them signing me up for the 12 month plan, I would have never switched. They do NOT make this clear in their contract, which simply lumps month to month/6 month/12 month plans into one sentence only saying they are billed consecutively. Nothing about cancellation policy changes going from month to month to a loner contract. When I requested a copy of my contract again, as I was traveling and away from the copy I had at home, the original contact that was month to month now had 12 month membership circled. Which I never modified in person. I brought this to their attention and was told it was a mistake. I asked if I needed to return my swipe card. No response. But they did make sure to email me telling me I could renew my membership as it comes to a close. Oh and the fitness assessment they offer in their marketing, is really the other owners nutrition based package she is trying to sell at a not inexpensive price. Its not a real fitness assessment like you would get at any other gym. I got emails about that more than once, even though I was not interested, but they dropped the ball and with nearly every other important communication piece. It was overall a bad experience and I would NEVER recommend joining. I had referred many clients to their gym and to a few of their trainers. I will tell clients to go to Functional Fitness or many other Boulder gyms that I have had great experiences with over the years. The appeal of a 24 hour, low key, passcard operation seems nice at first, but pay more for a facility that actually has staff on hand full time to communicate with in person and to check in with when questions or safety concerns arise. The owners arent there enough to actually come through on the small size community vibe they sell people on. I really liked the cleaning staff. Thats the best thing I can say about this whole place.
Great small gym open 24 hours in North Boulder
Great gym, love the 24 hour access, owners very nice, all the equipment looks brand new, reasonable rates, convenient location. I see little room for improvement.
Low key place, reasonable price, stays clean, good equipment that they keep maintained.
