I started here a few months ago and it is truly beyond what I expected. The coaches are amazing. The people who work out here are great too, I felt welcomed from my very first class. It’s definitely the best gym I’ve gone to. The workouts are challenging and fun. I always leave with a sense of accomplishment. The coaches are encouraging and really helpful and super genuine people. I would 10/10 recommend this gym to absolutely anyone. All workouts can be scaled to work with abilities and everyone encourages you to be your best. There is never any judgment here which I love considering I am super new to this type of workout. Very very happy that I made the decision to try this gym out. I truly don’t have a single negative thing to say about this establishment.
Where to start... this place, the owner, the coaches, everything is top tier! Joel, the owner, is easily one the best programmers in the game as the WOD’s are challenging, but fun and entertaining. He is extremely passionate about fitness. He does a great job of uplifting everyone and making it so effortless to feel comfortable there or “fit in”. Everyone who comes here is very welcoming. As far as the gym itself goes, it is as clean a gym you could want! All equipment is thoroughly wiped down after each and every use, the floors are swept and mopped nightly and the two bathrooms are immaculate. So happy to see what Joel has accomplished with this place!
I quit my other gym to come here! 😂 Joel and Denis have been great - patient with me and providing feedback & modifications when needed. Overall, its an inviting and fun place to go. 10/10 for sure.
This is the finest group of people to work out with ever. My trainer is playful, fun, funny, and so connected. We laugh and we cry together. We get strong in mind, body, and heart. Grateful for this amazing community.

Definitely, one of the best gym experiences Ive had. The trainers are more concerned with you being able to do the workout, with correct form and thats was the most important thing to me. Joel and his crew is super nice and very knowledgable. The gym is always kept in pristine condition. The clientele is friendly and welcoming, and you feel like you are part of a great community.
Joel is the most encouraging and knowledgeable coach that Ive come across! I started with no lifting experience and in three months so far, I have gained muscle and strength, but most of all, so much confidence in my ability to learn new movements! I am determined to continue to challenge myself in such a supportive gym!

Checked out several gyms in the area having just moved here from CA and my sister and I decided to go with this one because- it seems to be a great community. Everyone has been really friendly and nice, and the instructors are great about explaining things for noobs like us (weve never done CrossFit before!)- also major plus, there are about the same number of women (or sometimes, even MORE) as men attending classes which is super inspiring and makes us feel comfortable.- overall fitness level of people at gym is super high which is very inspiring and pushes us a lot- nice, clean and well organized.Were doing a competition to get back into shape so decided to do unlimited classes and weekly training. Well report back in a couple months on progress made. So far, 3 weeks in already feel a lot stronger and better. E.g. Im already able to deadlift 23% more weight (from 60 -> 75 kg)

The armory is amazing! We have been going since for about 6 months now and have loved every session. Joel and all of the other coaches are so nice and helpful, they really help you to make sure your form is the best it could be. Gym is very clean and all members make an effort to sanitize everything after working out.
Classes are a great workout and rewarding! Definitely feel stronger and wanting to come back for more. Works for all fitness levels and modifiers are easy to set up. Trainers and Coaches are very attentive and helpful. Has a great schedule/set up. Highly recommend!
I am a complete gym newbie but have been working on my overall health so I figured I’d start adding some fitness into my routine. That is when I found The Armory. It has been such an amazing experience so far!! I knew next to nothing when I walked in, but felt like I’ve learned so much already. I’ve done both personal training and the group classes. Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. I’m definitely happy I decided on this gym!

So happy to find this place. Working with a trainer to hit some fitness goals that were derailed due to COVID. She put together a great program and got me on track. Classes are also fun. Gym is clean, spacious, and has plenty of cleaning supplies. Coaches are friendly, knowledgable and motivating.
Joel and his team at The Armory are great. They are able to tune their classes to all skill levels including beginners whove never lifted a weight before. Theres no pressure from the coaches or the other gym members, its very inclusive and very fun. Highly recommend.
Came home to visit family for the holidays and decided to drop in here for a workout. Joel was very welcoming and they offer lots of open gym times along with well-taught classes and stellar programming! All the equipment is new, they have everything from oly platforms to air runners and ski ergs. And the vibe was what kept me coming back every day during my trip. Everyone was friendly and challenged me to push myself in all my workouts. Cant wait to come back next time I visit!

I started here not knowing much, but all of the coaches and other people in the class were so welcoming, and cheered me on no matter how small my improvements were. I ended up bringing my whole family in and we all love the environment and truly look forward to going. Best. Gym. EVER!

I love The Armory! The owner, Joel, has created an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away and the other members are friendly and quick to introduce themselves to new people.The facility is amazing, hands down the nicest CrossFit gym Ive ever been to. The way the gym is arranged allows for a large class to work out together without feeling crowded. The equipment is top quality and its all all kept clean and in great condition. There is even an indoor turf area for stretching, sprinting, sled pulls, etc. There is plenty of parking and it is never an issue, even during the busier times of day.Most importantly, the programming and coaching is excellent. The coaches do a great job of demonstrating and explaining the workouts at the beginning of each class. I really appreciate the way they explain what the objective of the days workout is and how it fits into the larger long term picture. They also do a really good job of encouraging realistic scaling options to help tailor each movement to each individual member. Youll feel right at home here whether youre a competitive athlete or brand new to working out. Im so happy to have found The Armory and I look forward to the gym every day!
I just completed the free trial pass and I thoroughly enjoyed each training session. The Armory is a clean and fully equipped gym with updated equipment and all the crossfit essentials. The coaching was excellent and each movement was fully explained and never rushed, which I always appreciate no matter how many times Ive done a movement. I also really enjoyed the programming, which was well balanced with strength and conditioning aspects and also a lot of fun. The atmosphere was not intimidating at all, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
This gym is amazing! Joel and Anna are so welcoming and inclusive. Its like walking into Cheers. They keep a watchful eye and are great at helping you with form and modifications as needed. They are also into keeping a clean gym which is hard to find. This is the best gym around!
The thought of joining a gym has always been intimidating for me, but I have never regretted coming to The Armory. I came knowing nothing about crossfit and yet all the coaches have been extremely helpful, patient, knowledgable and encouraging the entire time.Amazing people, welcoming atmosphere and great programming. This place has quickly become something I look forward to everyday!!
The Armory is welcoming to first timers or long timers in fitness- if you are just starting out or are well on your way, a very welcoming, family type atmosphere. The Trainers are attentive to each person and where they are in their fitness level, if you need modification because you’re just starting out, they definitely meet you where you are. I have been to Saturday sweat, Sunday lifting and evening weekdays, I have always left feeling like I gained strength, mobility and had so much fun.
The Weightlifting program/ CrossFit programming is amazing!! I’ve attended the Sunday weightlifting and there is a lot of structure, great coaching, and nice equipment!I really appreciate the accessory that follows the strength portion to help with my weaknesses and compliments my lifts. Already feeling stronger.Looking forward to this cycle/progression!!Highly recommend this gym.
Joel has been my trainer for about 6 months. I am now in the best shape of my life. His workouts are addicting and I would highly recommend him to anyone that’s trying to improve their life. The dread of going to the gym no longer exists for me. Joel has turned “working out” into one of the highlights of my day. His classes are fun and effective and I give him 5+ stars. Trust.

I met Joel when I was at my heaviest and was just looking to make a change. Joel was one of the best trainers Ive had to date and basically taught me all of my form foundations and always challenged me to try a harder weight when I wasnt confident I could do it. I couldnt do a squat when we first met, but he helped me modify until I improved. To this day, I always start my weights in the heavy side and taper off (after warming up, of course). In even got complimented on my form by an OG trainer in my boot camp class the other week!Thanks for everything, Joel! I knew nothing when I started your class and I finished that year feeling knowledgeable and confident in my abilities. 🙏
I attended a Saturday sweat session for the first time this past week and it was one of the best classes Ive taken. I went with the impression that I wasnt going to know how to do anything and was super intimidated. It was completely opposite! Joel and a couple other trainers there made me feel so welcomed and explained how to do the different workouts very clearly. Everyone there had high energy and were so encouraging. I will definitely be back!
Ive been doing CF for about 5 years and The Armory opened up just down the street from our house so I gave it a visit. The programing is great, mixing lots of barbell movements into the workouts, as well as cardio. The equipment is all new, the gym is kept very clean, and the coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. If youre in the area and looking for a new gym give The Armory a try, you wont be sorry.
Ive been attending workouts at The Armory since Aug, and I must say that this place is really special! To start, the gym is well-equipped, clean and conveniently located in the heart of Mill Creek. The workouts are always a great mix between weightlifting and conditioning. Although Ive only been a member for a short while, this place has whipped me into shape quicker than any other fitness establishment (eg: Pilates, Fit Body Bootcamp and L.A Fitness). The trainers, Joel and Nick have been super supportive, knowledgeable and humble every time Ive trained with them. Overall, the community in this gym is remarkable. Truly feels like a big family. Glad to have found this place!
So happy that The Armory opened up. In April my old crossfit gym closed down and I haven’t really found a place that felt like home until I came here. This place is beautiful all top of the line equipment, programming is amazing and the community & coaches are wonderful. All fitness levels are welcomed. They also work with you if you have any sort of injury or need scaling options. If you’re looking for a new place to get fit check out the Armory. 🙌🙌

Noticed this Gym opened across the street from my office so I thought I would go in and check to see what its all about. I was greeted by Joel & Nick who made me feel very welcomed (Normally I hesitate looking at new gyms due to the high pressure sales tactics). This was not the case, Joel talked with me about what my goals are and what my boundaries are and we set up a no cost assessment for him to get a sense of my fitness capabilities. I went in for the first assessment where we focused on stability and some of the basics, he then had me track my nutrition for the next week until our 2nd assessment. At the next assessment we did some warm up and then he worked with me on the principle lifts getting my form right which is important to me due to a injury from dead lifting a year ago. He caught on quick to what I needed to adjust and worked through what I need to do improve on my lifts. Again all of this at no cost which tells me these guys are dedicated to making sure their clients dont get hurt and have a positive experience before signing up for a membership! We wrapped up the 2nd assessment and he sat down with me and thoroughly went through my nutrition and basic movements I need to work on. I feel blessed this place opened up so close and to have trainers that care about the clientele. I signed up on the spot and look forward to getting my SWOLE ON at The Armory!!! Thanks Joel & Nick.
I’ve worked with Joel for a few years now and I have a love hate relationship when it comes to training with Joel. I love how much I’ve progressed, how much I’ve learned, and how much Joel pushes me to reach my goals. I hate how much he calls me out when I’m making excuses or not sticking to the plan or when he yells at me when I start to get sloppy and lift with bad form (even when he’s not around I can hear his “what are you doing?!” Or when I get frustrated and angry I hear “take a lap and then do it again.” Cause you can never end your lift on a bad note). I guess those things I hate are also why I’m where I’m at now. This last year with Joel alone I dropped over 25 lbs which is great, but more importantly I’ve hit PRs in my lift, I’m the fittest I’ve ever been (until I recently got injured but I’m rehabbing through that, which he also has been super helpful and knowledgeable in things you can do to work around injuries and to regain strength), and I’ve developed the tools to be able to keep growing in my fitness journey. I basically have a little Joel sitting on my shoulder coaching me while I’m in the gym or at home food prepping. Making good choices isn’t always easy to do but it’s easier when you’ve got the basics down and have an understanding on how things work. Sure, you can see any trainer and they can push you until you’re sore and can’t walk for days, but that’ll only get you so far. I’ve had that before and yes I saw some immediate results and progress, but then you plateau and you find yourself stuck in the same place for far too long. Anyone can put a bunch of exercises together, but not everyone can put it together in a way where years later you’re still building and improving. You’re still seeing those little muscles you never knew you had popping out of nowhere. You find yourself adding more weight to your barbell or busting out a few pull-ups when you didn’t even know you could do one. Another big thing Ive noticed is that unfortunately not all trainers/coaches also spend so much time on form and stress the importance of constantly working on your technique. You know Joel is passionate about fitness and it makes you want to succeed as well. This is why he’s also able to push you without yelling at you like a drill sergeant and knows the right to time to quietly tell you you’re doing great when you’re not sure you’re going to get that last round in. It’s also why he’s able to easily build communities with people who otherwise would not know each other outside of working out together, which isn’t something that automatically happens just because you’re taking a class together. You see this with Joel both in the class settings as well as just lifting with another person or two. The person I was four years ago, two years ago, or even since the beginning of the year isn’t the person I am now. When I started my fitness journey I was basically a walking blob. No real strength and basically zero endurance. Working out also just meant running and a lot of cardio machines. Now I’m the fittest, strongest, and happiest I’ve ever been and I’ve found a love of lifting and being active. I’ve had quite the journey and Joel has played a HUGE role in these changes and for that I will always be grateful.
