Why did this guy just essentially scream out his window to me for not tipping? Was a mistake as the machine was confusing but regardless it was a $6 taxi and be acted like I owe him $20 for a tip? Doesn’t make sense and was actually very rude.

Their attitude is nasty, how you a costumer service representative, but you have no skills. Worse service ever, I had to call 3 times to be able to get in contact with a representative but because they were busy or the line was. They just kept answering & hunging up, this is ridiculous NOT RECOMMEND @ ALL!!!!!!

I always use boston cab and called to schedule a van. The dispatcher told me no companies can schedule a van ever, than went into details about how that is not possible and why he could not do so. He also described to me their dispatching process (completely unneeded) and was very rude the entire time. I called Metro Cab and they were able to schedule me a van for whenever i wanted. Clearly metro cab is superior to this awful cab service!

I scheduled a pick up online. Waited and no one showed up. I called 2 minutes after pick up time and was told that the cab had already left my hotel? I was down there 10 minutes early and never saw a cab. The dispatcher said that the cab pulled up and someone got in, they just leave. Dont care who it is as long as its a fare. So I had to wait another hour for a Lyft

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They confirmed a pick up at 12:30 am for my daughter and then never showed up. She was left stranded alone in the middle of the night. Finally got an Uber to get safely home.They are also incredibly rude. They do not deserve your business.

Ive had several horror stories with this company. This is the latest one.Scheduled a ride. Got a text message saying a cab was dispatched. It never came. I find out later that the ride was canceled and no one notified me.Terrible service.

I called to get a cab for a mother and her child who were standing outside in the rain l.“Jay” the dispatcher on 5/5/2021 at 10:17amRefused to send a cab because he felt like it was “too difficult” and hung up on me.Then proceeded to call my phone back and leave a voice message threatening me after I told him I will be speaking to the owner. Will definitely be filling a police report.I left a message for the owner and am waiting to hear back.

Zero stars. Booked online, called to confirm that we were all set, cab never came and I was told when I called a second time that they dont do reservations despite their website allowing it and my confirming it. I was laughed at for letting them know I spoke to a woman earlier in the day (he said no women work there...). I missed my flight by an hour.At a time when ride shares are even harder to get, youd expect cab companies to try to up their game, or even have one in the first place.

I made a reservation for pickup at 4:30 am the day before pickup and gave them a call as well for confirmation. One of the staff members confirmed it through the phone. However the taxi did not show up even 15 minutes past the booking time. I gave them a call what was going on but the staff said no taxi driver was available and asked me if I wanted to keep waiting or cancel. I am very disappointed that they did not inform me about no availability prior to pick up time. Very poor service! I suggest to use either Uber or other quality taxi services in Boston.

If you like lousy service and drivers that do nothing but complain about no business then by all means give them a call. They are rarely on time, you will be told the driver is on there way but in the meantime they get another call and ditch the one you were waiting for.They have done this to me many times. Im always told 5-10 minutes for a cab an nothing. No one ever showed up or 30 minutes later the driver calls asking where you are. Really! I am expected to wait 30 minutes for a cab! Did I mention how the drivers complain about no business. Its because of them they have no business. They pick and chose there fares leaving the customer in a bind.For now on I will be strictly using either Uber or Lyft. They are much more reliable and there fares half of Boston Cab. I would honestly like to see Boston Cab either be sold to someone who cares or just go away!

Whie Visiting Boston and staying at expensive Embassy Suite Boston Logan airport, I got sick and needed to go to pharmacy to get Face Mask to hopefully prevent infecting others at hotel and on the airplane back home.So at the Hotel Mgr recommendation, I let him call me a cab since hotel shuttle wouldnt take me less than 3 miles away?Maybe my cab driver was having a bad morning at 5:30am, but then he told me to start my GPS on my phone. I thought that was odd but its dark and I dont know where Im going as a lady so I navigated us there to CVS pharmacy.I asked him to please wait for me to pick up items and take me back to hotel. He was in a hurry but he did wait for me as I hurried to pick up my items. Thank God for the helpful gentlemen worker in CVS 210 Border St.Cab driver talked on phone hands free while getting us out of the area. Back at hotel he ask me to hurry up and pay because he had to go.I wasnt going to give him a tip at all for the $15 dollar ride of 3 miles and rudeness but I did give him a 12% tip at $2.00 because God put compassion i. My heart and I was thankful to God for the safe passage in the darkness of the morning.I dont recommend this cab company.Also I was very surprised that my expensive hotel at Boston Logan Airport didnt provide shuttle service within 5 mile radius. Desk Mgr said only to Airport which is a 7 min walk of which during my stay I have walked several times during daytime to catch bus and trainSo beware and double check Hotel Shuttle service before you pay a lot of money for convenience only not to get it and average service along with it.Again Im thankful for safety and would have walked if it was daylight and I was feeling well.Kindly,Expected Boston Cab at airport to be better than this

Turned up at South Boston railway station after a long sojourn on plane and train from UK and New York. Once the driver found out it was a short journey (about 2 miles) that he was making to South /East Boston, he switched off the meter and told us that we better cough up 20 dollars in cash for the trouble of it being rush hour, twe were weighing his car down with heavy cases and that he could have made much more at this time of night! What a great welcome to Boston. Have made a note of his number and will report it (for what its worth)

I was able to help a gentleman who didn’t have a smart phone and couldn’t call Uber or a lift. They got a cab to us within five minutes and this man who had recently had a serious medical issue and couldn’t walk was perfectly cared for by this cab service it was a real answer to his need

Absolutely horrible service from Logan airport. I decided to take a taxi since their were more folks waiting for Uber and Lyft at the airport.The taxi driver was very rude and continued to make wrong turns driving to my destination. I finally just told him to stop and I got out. #477 I can’t believe the service is so poor now with competition.Good bye Boston Taxi there is absolutely no reason to use your service now that customers have a choice.

I literally ended up canceling because of reading these reviews and just how RUDE the man who answered the phone to book my cab was!! he was dismissive and cold, hung up while i was still talking and laughed at me when i told him i was going to need a 4am cab? i can’t wrap my brain around why someone trying to get business in a dying industry would be so overtly rude to a customer on the phone. don’t even bother calling boston cab dispatch.

I normally don’t write reviews but this cab company was terrible.I normally take Uber and riding in this taxi reminds me why. What should have been a 10 min ride was a 20 mins ride due to your driver trying to take advantage of someone visiting the city. I had my gps up from the time we left the airport until the time we got to our location and the driver ( I wish I wrote down his name) kept taking a longer route! Don’t worry I will dispute the charge due to his incompetence.

Never call them!Even if you book a cab in advance it will never arrive. We asked for a cab at 8.45AM business day. We phone at 8.55AM and the incompetent operator told us that the cab would have arrived within 4 min => it never arrived! We phoned again at 9.05AM...at the end we waved a cab passing by and we took it. We would have been still there waiting for a miracle!Don’t make our mistake!”

It was horrible. Im warning everyone to never ever order a taxi from this company. The gut in the phone is rude. I asked him how many minutes the taxi would take to get here and he said whenever. They took forever and never called me when the taxi showed up. I looked outside my house and I saw the taxi there. by before I walked outside to get in this taxi he left. The taxi never let me know that he was outside. Overall it was a horrible experience and I hope no one goes through that ever again!I seriously felt like I was getting punked. ....

Not excellent, but best alternative to others in Boston. MetroCab is especially atrocious. Boston Cab has always shown up (seems like a low baseline, but Ive been stood up so many times by Metro) and the drivers are quiet, which is the best one would hope for with drivers. The dispatch center is abrupt, but Im not calling them to make new friends, so its OK.

Good god we did not go farer than the booking by phone!The person on the phone was amazingly unhelpful and rude. I have never seen a service like this and I am convinced that to be so bad it has to be on purpose. Long story short, if you wish to have a phone call as pleasant as an enema, you know the phone number.

All I wanted was to reserve a cab for the morning, but I couldnt talk because she kept interrupting, and finally I had to hang up. Honestly, as long as shes answering the phones, youre really better off calling someone else.

This is the second time Ive waited over an hour for a cab, Im now late for work, and still waiting, the dispatchers dont know anything,theyre rude and disrespectful, they just keep saying no one has picked up my call yet?! Ive never reviewed anything online before but my experience with Boston Cab was so unnecessarily rude I just couldnt let it go. I tried to order a cab on the app, I couldnt get any notification that my order went through (my app just said it was processing and then would die) I then tried calling to figure out what was going on and the dispatcher refused to listen to me and when I told him I was outside a bar he told me well that explains it and hung up the phone. Ridiculously rude and completely unacceptable behavior. Id rather walk miles through the next Boston blizzard than give these people one cent. Find any other way to get home.

Terrible service, arranged for an 830 pickup 8 hours in advance, waited until 835 and they werent there. I called to make sure they were coming and was given a 6 minute wait time. 845 still no cab. Called back and was told my cab was out front. I met with a driver who said he was there for someone else and not us. At 9 I gave up and just ordered an uber. I was called back at 902 by a dispatcher telling me they had a cab in route and I told them to cancel. I will use uber over this company any day.

Horrific service. Would give zero stars if possible. Called a taxi at 10:45pm this past weekend, was told it would take 10-15 minutes. Called again 20 minutes later and they said they never told the driver to come to my destination, so they would do it right away. 45 minutes later I called back and they said hed be there shortly. Absolutely terrible. When booking for a pre-arranged time they dont show up but will send an invoice/receipt for a ride that was never taken. They dont wait the standard 5 mins courtesy for passengers. DO NOT use this service you will be sorry. Driver 5004 is a fraud. Tried to use them twice today, I was very disappointed. The other day when it was raining we decided to grab a cab right away instead of wait for Uber. MISTAKE! The driver was rude, a terrible driver, and tried to overcharge us. I refused to pay what he said was an extra fee because of the weather. When I asked for my change back he threw it at me. Next time Ill wait in the rain for an Uber or Lyft. No more cabs for us!

I asked for a taxi to be at our place at 6pm for a 7:30 flight (its a 15 min drive to the airport). They didnt dispatch a taxi until AFTER 6 and then said there was no cab in the area. It took until 6:30 for a cab to show up and I nearly missed my flight.I called to complain and they were very unapologetic. Poor customer service, very bad planning, and overall bad experience. Use any other company besides this one.

Worst ever thank God for Uber’s. This company is the worst. My son had surgery in children’s hospital in Waltham. First called for a cap and they send him to wrong location. No call no show. Then I called back and I was told it was a now show but didn’t even have the nerve to call me and ask. Horribly unsafe cab ride. Got in the van at the airport for family of 5, the bench in the back row did not latch back, was stuck in the folded position, open enough to sit on. One seatbelt didnt work and Cabbie said that he could drive safe. Driver was not staying in his lane. Horrible drive.

I took this cab home from the airport and when we arrived it only cost $21 total and the driver was like Uhh...this is not the total fee and he said theres a SUV fees and the airport toll fees. Ok! I get the airport toll fee but the SUV fee? Thats so bs, and I asked him so whats the total? He was estimating on top of his head, thats when I realized this cab driver is trying to rip me off. He entered manually the extra fees into the machine which is not legit. I was so pissed but I got luggage in the cab so I ended up paying the BS fees that he came up with. Everyone should never ever use this cab company service. No wonder cab company is losing business to Uber and other car services.
