As everyone else states, you’re better off picking up your bag from the airport. They told me it would arrive the next evening so yesterday I waited up late to keep an eye out for the bag because I told them they could leave it on the front porch but was still concerned with rain and valuables inside. At 9:45 PM I called and spoke to an agent who told me it was out for delivery and would arrive at 11 PM. I stayed up despite being exhausted and having a final exam this morning but after reading all the reviews for the company I was on surprised when I receive the phone call at 3:45 AM to request more information about where my apartment is located. When my bag came the lock was cut off despite all of my name tags easily identifying at the bag is mine. At this time I don’t believe any belongings are missing but the entire situation was extremely poor and suspicious and absolutely inconvenient.

Unlike most of the other reviews my bag came when promised. A good guy named John called me twice and delivered the bag exactly when he said. I returned from the Ukraine after taking 3 planes and security hassles to find my bag lost when arriving in Boston. The next day it was at my house so I give DDS 5 stars and Thank You Very Much.

Actually it is the most disrupted and disfunctual company I have ever worked for.Im a hard working consciences caring worker,as my close friends are,but it partially due to the fact that we deliver lost luggage from Logan Airport to customers in New England,and has been very slow,because we depend on bad weather/delays.The advantage for me is the company is in East Boston,where I also live.I do the best I can accomadating our customers.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Did not deliver on-time, and extremely, extremely disrespectful. Called for customer service, was not answering my questions directly and cut off my call out of anger without clarifying my questions. I called UA to reschedule for a delivery through this company, waited for the entire day but the luggage was still not here. I then called UA again and they told me I was never scheduled for a delivery somehow. Very unprofessional.

If I could I give 0 stars. It was the most intolerant and racist interaction in my life... It was not for the time to delivery at all, My problem was with the person who delivered my bag because he was really rude.

I hope that United Airlines gets the message and decides to hold this company accountable or gets rid of them. The most unprofessional and rude people Ive ever encountered in a service industry. The person who answers the phone at DDS is nice enough but will tell you he will call you back and then wont. Then he will tell you that your bag got returned to the airport and doesnt know why.The delivery driver, now hes a doozy. He called us, we spoke and set up a delivery window between 2-5. We agreed and waited at our home for him but he didnt arrive. He did try to call us but the phone was on silent and we missed the call. He alleges he knocked on our door and rang our doorbell but that is a flat out lie. We were home and never saw him. Additionally we have two dogs who bark like crazy if anyone breathes near our door never mind rings the doorbell. He never came.We called United Airlines and they directed us to call the driver to try and find our bag. We called the driver several times only to get a few words out each time before being hung up on.A day later DDS says the bag was returned to the airport but the airport says they dont have it. I can only wonder what the delivery guy has done to our bag.Where is the accountability? Customer service? Level headed associate to help us? There is none. How can United do business with this company?

One of the worst companies to deal with. I can completely understand how frustrating it can be dealing with people whose luggage has been lost. AT THE SAME TIME, it is the industry you chose to get into. As a successful business owner, one must be organized, professional and HONEST. This company lacks all three attributes. It has already been 24+ hours and they said they called for delivery. I provided TWO numbers to contact for delivery. They sweared they called and that each number missed the call. TWO PHONES MISSED THE SAME CALL? There were no missed calls. The service based business lacks service....

Was called by Southwest at 5:30pm and was told my luggage had arrived. Was told I would receive it within a few 2-4 hours, no luggage. Called DDS and spoke with someone 12:30am and was told I will be receiving my luggage between 2-4am but still no luggage. Called at 6am and spoke with Jason who told me he would get the driver to call me, no call from anyone. Call back at 6:15am, spoke with Jason again and was told that he was waiting for the driver to return his call. Called back again at 6:30am and was told by Jason that my luggage would be here in 15minutes. Recieved my luggage at 6:50am, and have to leave for a funeral at 9am.

Extremely unacceptable behavior! Its been over 24hrs since British Airways lost my bag and when I called the courier I was hung up over 3x times and greeted by a rude person named Dan... I am hoping Ill get my bag soon. Not sure why airlines do business with DDS airline services when they have such horrible reviews and other similarly horrible experiences!!!

I agree completely with all the complaints I see posted already about DDS Airline Services. On the telephone we were treated very rudely and told wild stories about fictitious drivers who never call and never show. One employee threated to file a report on me for harassment because I was calling for information about the likely hour of delivery of the bags and and was repeatedly given false information. Our bags arrived, with their contents damp, about 30 hours beyond what was supposed to be the latest hour of delivery. I have filed a complaint with Delta about this company and I hope that Delta will find another baggage delivery service.

Its a shame companies like Delta continue using this mediocre service. The employees lie shamelessly and procrastinate on delivering the luggage as much as they can. Despite numerous phone calls and promises to deliver my luggage on time, Ive actually had the pleasure of going to pick up my luggage myself. It was impossible to find where this company was located as it has no signs on Bennington St. Its located under a highway behind a bottle deposit facility. Hundreds of suitcases are actually stored in a couple of open garages and are practically unattended. This was definitely the sketchiest place Ive ever visited in Boston. Never flying Delta again!

All of you are complaining about a service that no other company provides. You arent the only passenger waiting on luggage. I used to work there and know that they do everythi g they can to get everyones luggage delivered on a timely manner. Also the airlines have no idea when the bags are delivered. Just because they receive the bag doesnt mean it will be delivered, D.D.S has to pick it up first. Your bags are sent out as soon as they are picked up and inventoried. They are under video surveillance at all times in the warehouse and truck. So please if your reading these reviews understand that these passengers are all babies and have 0 patience. And they keep wondering why the airlines keep using them. Its because there ate no other companies out there willing to deal woth the verbal abuse from customers.

They are the rudest and most irresponsible people I have ever dealt with. I am speechless. To check the status of my missing bag I called the DDS. A man picked up the phone, who had a very condescending tone. I was asked to verify my address, which I did, then I complained that I havent received a phone call from their driver yet, and I asked when I can expect my bag. He said he does not know, and I complained about misinformation and lack of information regarding my bags whereabouts. Then he scolded me for complaining and for not giving the airline name and my name. He asked me my address, not my name or the name of the airline!!! He hung up the phone while I was talking (while I was talking to him I feared for my personal safety or for the safety of my bag). I had to stay home because I was previously informed by Air Canada that my bag would be delivered between 3 and 5 PM. I was told that my missing bag wouldnt be delivered until midnight or later. At 12:05, no calls. I called them again, and finally received a call from the driver that my bag will be delivered in half an hour. My only hope is that my bag is delivered undamaged. The baggage service at Air Canada was bad, but this DDS is far beyond anyones imagination.

Rating this horrible company a 1 is pushing it. This place sucks (excuse me but it does)and united and the other airlines that use this company should be ashamed of themselves. The damn guy that was supposed to deliver my luggage 2 days ago got into a car OUI accident and I was told that a different guy the following day had an adult temper tantrum about delivering outside the Boston area. These people are the ABSOLUTE WORST to deal with.

They are irresponsible and untrustworthy. We were waiting for our parcel for a whole day just to give us a window of 8-11pm while they said around 2pm. Also the personell is rude and they dont cooperate at all. British airways is using this company. So you understand how unreliable British airways also is.

US Airways should be ashamed of themselves for contracting this company as a delivery service. Not sure whether it was the airline or the delivery service, but first they deliver my bag to another person on the flight. Fortunately be refused it. Then they lose my bag. Then the dispatcher has a breakdown on the phone with me. Theyll only deliver my bag between midnight and 4am, they call me at 11:00pm. The driver then calls me, asks me if Im at a location Ive never been affiliated with, when I tell him he has the wrong address, he proceeds to tell me to f*** myself. These are just the things I remember.

My luggage was delayed from Dallas to Boston, arrived in Boston at noon the day after my arrival. American airlines uses them for delivery, unfortunately. This company picked it up and I received 3phone calls from 3 different Boston nbrs, all saying it was on the way. The last was at 7pm and he said he could not give me an estimate of when it would be delivered. I called DDS directly to ask, when I said I had received 3 phone calls from 3 diff Boston nbrs he called me a liar. Shocked, I said Id report it to American and he said hed have it returned to Boston airport and hung up on me. I reported it to AA and hope they sever ties with this unprofessional business. In hindsight I wish Id taken AAs offer of paying for cabfair to get my luggage directly from the airport rather than entrusting it to these unprofessional clowns with piss poor customer service.

This company doesnt even deserve one star! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, rude and disorganized company in my life. First I was told my bag was in Miami and I wouldnt get it until 5pm the next day. Then I was told it actually arrived on my flight that same night, but I wouldnt receive it until 7-10 the following night. I followed up at 10:10pm only to find out that the delivery was delayed ANOTHER hour! An hour later I called and the driver himself told me I would have to wait until 1:15am. I took a nap and woke up at 2:10am and called. Guess what he said, he woudlnt be getting there until 3:05am! As a result, I was furious and couldnt get back to sleep. FINALLY, the guy, Walter, showed up at 3:15am with my bag.I withold the following words only for specific times when I truly mean it, but I despise this company and I am honestly surprised they are still in business! I cant believe American Airlines or any other company does business with them. I have never felt so mislead and lied to by a company ever before. You would think after several reviews, each labeled as 1 star and complaining about the same thing, a company like this would be well out of business by now. My recommendation, sell all of your customers to FedEx or UPS. This is outrageous making a person stay up so late, especially on a work night! By the way, I was not going to bed and leaving my pack outside in the freezing cold temperatures with all of my valuables in there, so theres no option to go to bed, even if you could get to sleep.I forgot to mention, I found the contents of my bag altered and in different places than I left them and there was no TSA tag identifying that anyone went through it. Fortunately, nothing was missing, but this is beyond sheisty. I could find better business from a sketchy down a dark alley in the ghettos of NY or some third world country and still feel safer and more at ease with that transaction than I did with this one.

Absolute crap! They tried to deliver my bag at 4AM when I was asleep, then said they would deliver it again on subsequent days, but didnt. When I called to locate it, they said my bag couldnt be found. These guys suck and are impossible to reach by phone. When I do get through, they are unhelpful and even hang up on me.

Deputy Delivery Service is poorly managed and unorganized. DDS picked my bags up from American Airlines on a Saturday night with instructions to deliver them the next morning. I called them on Sunday at noon when the bags hadnt arrived yet, and they said that they were trying to find someone to come in and deliver them. More calls that same day received the same response, so I told them to deliver the bags on Monday after 4:00 p.m. when someone would be home. When I called at 6:30 p.m. the next day, they said that the bags were in a drivers van, but that he had left for the day with his van to go to his other job. I told them to take the bags off of the van when the driver came in the next morning so that I could go pick them up. I called on Tuesday morning to confirm that the bags were taken off of the truck, and I was informed that three unsuccessful attempts were made (despite receiving 0 phone calls and hearing the buzzer ring 0 times) and the bags were returned to AA. Not only would I not recommend this company to anyone, I also wont let them deliver any more delayed luggage. Ill just pick it up from the airport myself, since thats what I have to do now anyway.

This people have been keeping my bags for more than 4 days sitting in their warehouse.I can not pick them up because that will distract them and they can not send my bags back to the airport. To make it worst their is not form to communicate with them, not even the personal of American Airlines is able to contact them. Their is no form to leave a message and they do no contact their clients. Is a shame that American Airlines is using their system
