I would recommend this service to others. Although I didn’t go forward with the data recovery, the diagnostics and email communications have all been very quick. Jonathan was a great rep: very helpful, efficient, and explained things well.

Secure Data recovered critical data from a laptop hard drive that was unresponsive to all normal communications. Highly recommend using Secure Data Recovery. After my cheap promo flash drive turned unreadable with some important work documents, I brought to local repair shop only to get the run-around for over a week with no results. As soon as I called Secure Data I knew I should have from the beginning. Eli Robinson was great to work with. Excellent customer service and quick response to any emails. He kept me informed at every step of the process and presented all of my options. Unfortunately my drive wasnt able to be recovered but Eli offered suggestions and advise on how to avoid this situation in the future. I worked with Mitchell on my recovery project. Mitch was helpful and patient in first explaining the process to me and later in answering all my questions about the more technical details. Unfortunately, my disk was severely damaged and would have required several weeks and a couple of grand to recover so I chose not to proceed. Had the data been more important to me I certainly would have as I feel comfortable working with Mitch and Secure Data Recovery Services. Hopefully, I will not ever need them in the future but if I do, I will not hesitate. In the meantime I have downloaded their backup service and will be more proactive in the future!

Good experience and easy process. However some of the images recovered are not opening in Windows 10 because possibly they are in a .jpg format and not .jpeg. The harddrive the data was taken out of was old. I have been breaking my head all week trying to find a way to open them. Im not sure if the file is corrupted or misformatted but I wish I was able to open these images because I have a feeling these are images that I really wanted to recover and would have appreciated if they were in a format that would make them visible. The cost to recover was over $760. I was expecting more in the $299 range or something like that but it was over $760. There was one place data recovery place that quoted me $1,750 .. So I guess this is not as bad. Overall, service is great as mentioned and the process is easy...Lets just say the cost and possible outcome is not as great as the service and process.
