Bill I think was the dock master, awesome guy who lives aboard in the marina. Dock hands super friendly & helpful, along with lots of nice liveaboards in the marina. Easy & interesting walk to downtown Boston as U cross the locks or bridge over the Charles River I believe. Much better protection than the downtown Wharf marina we had stayed in previously...

What a fun experience!! We were so surprised that this Marina had B & B Rooms on board boats! After selling our large boat earlier this summer, we wanted to stay in Boston and trailer our 20 center console down to play in the harbor. Impossible to find a place to park the truck and trailer - until we discovered the Constitution Marina. We were able to get parking, a boat slip for our boat and a room with the perfect view right at the Marina. Access to delicious breakfast which was included and use of their pool and barbecue area which had the best view and was great fun. They were great to deal with and it was a great experience. Highly recommend if you visit Boston with a small boat to go through the locks to the Charles River at night. Locks are open 24/7 and lights were fantastic (with so many city and bridge lights - easy to see!)

During this very difficult time this privately owned marina and its owners are doing their best to protect our health by requiring masks as the Governor and common sense have required us to do. Most people live here year round, most are complying. A very small number are not, and this is disrespectful to me, my family, my parents and my few friends that are willing to visit. With the asymptomatic aspect of this pandemic, there is no way to look at someone and know if theyre positive or not. Id prefer to be safe than sorry! The marina has clearly posted signs at all gates indicating that masks are REQUIRED on the docks (not on your own boat). The docks are NOT wide enough to pass while social distancing. Please - be considerate of others and mask on the dock. On your own boat, sure... whatever.

In addition to the great location (walking distance to Boston downtown, North End restaurants, Charlestown Navy Yard, North Station subway and commuter rail, multiple grocery stores ...), Constitution Marina has excellent staff who enable carefree live-aboard and transient experiences during both summer and winter seasons. The marina hosts a mix of year-round live-aboard, seasonal and transient boaters who form an extraordinary community - welcoming and friendly. Lastly, the marina is maintained immaculately, and boasts very clean laundry, bathrooms and picnic facilities, including a pool. Constitution Marina is a place we are proud to call home.

I spent two summers and two winters at Constitution Marina and I dont think there are enough words to say how great my experience was.The marina is very conveniently located near the city (and that is a very good perk), but the most attractive part of the marina is the service they provide. The dock master (Sebastian) and all the crew (Billy, Will, & others) were readily available for whatever I needed (sometimes even off hours) on the dock. As well, the backend support (Melissa and Amy) had always responded to all my inquiries extremely quickly. The docks are always in great shape, and everything is tidy. The slip fingers are flawless. The office facilities (bathroom, shower, mailroom, laundry) are amazingly clean, and usually available. The community is very welcoming to the new boaters, and I made some good friends there.I would recommend Constitution Marina to anybody who wants to have a boat of any type with great access to the Boston harbor.

Run down, docks broke multiple times over the last 2 years, boats squeezed too close to each other. For the same price, or less, there are better choices close by. Check out Charlestown Marina, right around the corner. Professionally run, about the same price, beautiful new docks, the gold standard in Charlestown.

Lovely marina with very helpful staff. I see a 1 star review was left by a woman who was asked to wear a mask. Thank god! I am so grateful to live in a safe marina that mandates mask use as my daughter is high risk. Viral particles do in fact travel further than 6 feet sometimes and Im very glad that the marina keeps my family safe.

I have been a customer since 1990, and I cant say enough good things about the place and the people. The staff is helpful, our neighbors are friendly, and the location and the views are simply spectacular. We just brought our new boat here in November, and moved aboard in the spring. What we like best (besides the great fishing right off our boat) is the strong sense of community. Whenever there is a storm, or I need a hand with my boat, people pull together and go out of their way to help each other out.During trying and uncertain times like these, it is great to be a part of a community of people who care about each other and the sea.Like everyone, we cant wait for this pandemic to pass so we can safely socialize on the docks and the deck for cookouts and pool parties. In the meantime, there is simply no safer, more welcoming place to ride out the storm than on our boat at Constitution Marina.

Simply a wonderful experience. I particularly admire Sebastians astonishing wide range of abilities as a dock master. Your boat is safe and secure, no matter what. The amenities are first class and the location is well, they say location, location, location and this is all of that. The pedestrian bridge to the North End is right at the marina. The 16 most significant locations to the history of the United States are a mere walk away or a short ride. Plus worth mentioning are the Green Dragon of 1654 and other ancient public establishments where Paul Revere, George Washington and many other founding fathers found food and refreshment. Find your fine vessels home at the Constitution Marina.

Good location to walk to the North End. Otherwise not impressed. Sort of like a trailer park on the water. Actually, there are some pull behind camping trailers on what appear to be home made platforms. Lots of run down boats, and even some home made looking boats made out of wood. People weren’t friendly. Didn’t feel like a marina. Not going back.

MARINA MEMBERS HARASSING FOR NOT WEARING A MASK. I was verbally assaulted by another marina member while not wearing a mask for medical reasons. I was at all times socially distancing to protect others. The member yelled at me to wear a mask!!! I informed the marina management and have had no response in over 24 hours! The marina has enforced a customer mandatory mask on the dock rule which is above and beyond the executive order where it is required if you are not able to socially distance. This has created a very hostile environment. Other local marinas do not have this mask requirement and are following the maintain social distancing recommendations.

A great, clean, marina with plenty of amenities. The staff have been doing a fantastic job balancing the requirements due to COVID with the needs of boaters.Constitution Marina has a great community that is always willing to lend a hand or that one tool that you forgot! The staff are top notch, and can often be found on the docks chatting with all of us, and passing along their knowledge.I highly recommend going to check the place out, although be warned: After spending some time there, you might want to give up on land life and join the largest liveaboard community in New England.

I’ve had the privilege of keeping a boat here at Constitution Marina for 23 years, starting on A dock, then E and now on G. Sure, I stay for the sheltered and beautiful location but more importantly for the staff and community. The staff has always been responsive and respectful. It’s one of my favorite places to be. This year is unique with COVID-19, economic and political strife and no fireworks for the 4th! Despite it all, we’re down for the holidayAnd once again this is a sanctuary. Thank you Sebastian and the entire team. Looking forward to the next 23 years.

The noise from the bridge construction next to the marina is non-stop, day and night. The pool is closed. The clubhouse and bathrooms are closed. But they still want top dollar? And as others have said, watch out for loose boards on the docks. Husband said they used drywall screws which are meant for inside use which is why they rusted and boards are loose. Not good for our kids.

New here this summer, and like others have said, the docks arent that great, but the location is great. Its a nice walk into town, and the shipyard is next door too, plus the parking is great. I would have given them more stars if it wasnt for the rude heavier couple on Crazy Moments that police the docks. They constantly yell at us for not having our masks on when we dock, but they dont always have their masks on. I dont know if they own the marina or what, but we might ask the office to move us away from them if possible. If not, I think were going to move over to Charlestown Marina before the end of the summer. Very rude people at this marina. Oh, and the pool and the clubhouse is closed, but like others have said, theres no reduction in our dock fees. When we checked with Charlestown Marina, they told us that their facilities are open, unlike Constitution. As for the bridge noise, sure, theres some, but we come here on weekends and then go right out, so were not on the docks for long, so it doesnt bother us.

Dont forget your mask, else you get yelled at by people. Even though the Governors order only requires a mask when you are inside a business or outside when you cant be 6 feet apart, the marina makes you wear a mask if youre on the dock and nobody else is around. And it appears that they have people looking out for offenders. The marina claims that theyre following the governors order, but it sounds like they didnt actually read the order because theres no requirement for people wearing a mask if they can maintain 6 feet from strangers outside. Idiots.

It sounded like a great idea, visiting the marina. The staff were ok, not too friendly. Some of the boaters near us were nice, but most weren’t. It’s the city, so it’s to be expected. The docks are wobbly and overall in rundown condition. Won’t be back.

I have been to the marina many times over last 10 years. Always friendly helpful staff (like returning your cart for you). Also have been very conscience of other people’s safety by enforcing a mask rule on the docks. You can’t physically be 6 feet from someone passing on a dock! Some people have been whining about wearing a a mask, but I love it. Also recently some obnoxious boats pulled in toting their Trump flags (yes the stereotype is true) partying all night, and threatening to sue anyone that asks them to keep it down. Many of my friends keep their boats here and these out of towners do not represent my fellow boaters. They’ve left some 1 star reviews on here harassing other vessels and making false claims. They are just angry they aren’t welcome. Almost feel sorry for them how pathetic their lives must be to take the time to make up fake names and bully some of the nicest people I know. Anyway, love this place and I was a Charlestown Marina customer for years!

New to the marina this year. Was on our boat talking to our neighbors when this woman from the blue hulled sailboat named Bluefin on the dock across the fairway yelled at us for not having masks on while on our boat. Mind you, she about 50 yards away from us. So rude! This woman needs to learn how to read what the CDC says. If she thinks she can catch covid from 50 yards away, with a strong wind, then shes a special kind of stupid. Also, watch out for splinters and loose boards on the docks. Were going back to Charlestown Marina next year. Much better docks, about the same price, and people are much friendlier.

I would give them a minus 5 star rating if possible. We left Portland, Maine for this marina, sailing into 25 knots for a day only to receive a call from the marina as we arrived in Boston Harbor that they gave our dock away. They did bill us $1382 and as of this writing we have not been credited. Low life operation.
