It was a great time.. Beautiful friends and delicious food..

My wife and I recently got married on The Odyssey and it was absolutely beautiful. The boat was beautiful, the food was fantastic, bartenders and servers were amazing and so friendly. Everyone on board made sure we had an amazing night. We didnt have the best weather, however the indoor ceremony was so beautiful! It actually blew away my expectations! Even though the weather wasnt the best, the boat ride was still so calm. No one got any sort of sickness or even felt the boat move. We had this wedding booked before the pandemic happened. This made some aspects of the wedding planning a little stressful, however we had Meghan who helped us with everything. She was so helpful, always gave us helpful information, and personally was there all day and night on our wedding day making sure everything was perfect. I saw her running around the entire night making sure our needs were met. I just thought that Meghan made sure this wedding was perfect and all of her hard work really paid off. We are very thankful she was able to help provide us the wedding of our dreams. Thank you to the entire staff and crew that made our wedding the greatest day of our lives. We cannot wait for our anniversary food so we can have all that food again :)

For the price me and my fiancé paid I was not impressed. We went on the Odyssey and we’re on the bottom floor due to two weddings on our boat. The first hour after boarding was great and then we started moving. As the boat began moving the engine was making a horrible loud noise and the floor was shaking. When we asked our waitress she said us was from the boat turning which can’t be right because we were not constantly turning for 3 hours. Overall we would have rather gone to a restaurant and spent less money for what we got than sit on a loud boat.

Surprised my mom today for mothers day, it was our very first time on the Odyssey, we absolutely loved the cruise but didnt like the service, we got sat down at our table waited for our waitress for about 30 minutes she wasnt on top of everything, i had to ask if we go up and serve ourselves or do we wait! there was an really nice waiter guy in a light blue uniform that came up to our table and told us that we could go up and also go up for dessert!

Horrible horrible customer service from Ivy. Very rude attitude when asked to confirm what selection we had for dinner. Response was, “well check your confirmation! Check your confirmation.” This is the second round of cancellations we’ve had for bogus reasoning. (Lack of turnout & a multi year project) We rescheduled only because my fiancé wants to go so bad and it was a birthday present to him. I’ll update my review if we have a good time and service on the cruise, but it’s not looking too promising😒

My wife and I booked a cruise months in advance. We were to be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. August 5th, 2021, at 7PM. We got an email approximately a week before that date, informing us that the cruise had been cancelled. When I attempted to contact them, I was told they didnt have enough customers booked to justify the cruise by someone at Viator. They told me someone from City Cruises would be contacting me. Im anxiously awaiting that call. A month later. Maybe they can make it up to me on my next 25th Anniversary.

We chose this cruise, Sat night dinner cruise to celebrate my birthday. It was relaxing but also fun. Our waitress was on the ball&travel agents, staff around the ship=> friendly, welcoming n helpful. Top notch service🥂The covid regulations are in effect, which changed the itinerary, still the sunset dinner cruise in Boston, was an incredible!Being working parents we rarely get out, esp during Covid times! But this was def exactly what we needed, a night to remember.

The cruise was great but unfortunately our Waitress was very slow it seemed like she had tables that she liked better than others when we got on the boat we were told where out table was it took our waitress about 30mins before she even came to our table there wear people who sat way after us who got served 1st and at the end of the cruise we was supposed to get complimentary glasses Which we did get but unfortunately we had to ask for them there was one real nice guy there who helped more then our waitress

This was our second year chartering the Boston Elite for a corporate event and the staff and crew once again did an awesome job! The food was great, the staff was attentive, and the Captain and crew very professional and courteous!

Unfortunately our dinner cruise on the Odyssey was cancelled. There was no one around to communicate with....that was my experience on Rowes Wharf....

I showed up a week early for our anniversary dinner cruise and was able to reschedule for 2 days later. The process was easy and I was able to use a onboard credit because my second reservation was slightly changed. All in all it was an amazing time regardless of the rain and we were able to celebrate the same weekend.

I try and go on the Odyssey cruise every year for my birthday. This year was the best, we got lucky with the gorgeous weather and the full moon. Our server was phenomenal!! She was not only our personal bartender but our personal photographer as well. She would check up on us no matter where we were on the ship, to take our pictures and freshen our drinks! The food was exceptional as always. Totally worth the money!!

I am so disappointed. I booked a cruise for 9/3. I received a call at the end of August informing me that they had to cancel all future cruises until Spring 2021. I was told a refund would appear in my account but it would take some time. Here is my problem. Not only have I not received an email to confirm the cruise was canceled and a refund would be issued but I emailed them it was undeliverable. What is REALLY going on?

We just had our wedding on the Odyssey this past Saturday 8/15! From the day we booked to the wedding day they truly tried to make it a stress free process. We worked closely with Meghan Simmons who answered all and every question we had. She was lovely to work with! Even with hurtles to jump due to the pandemic they were willing to work with us in any way to ensure our day was special! They supplied almost every single vendor we needed besides the florist and photographer which made wedding planning SO much easier, even in a pandemic LOL. From the DJ, Bartender, JOP, etc. everyone was so professional and on top of their game. My husband and I were very impressed with the level of service we got not just on Saturday, but leading up to the day as well. They followed CDC protocols accordingly without making it the main point of focus for the night and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves while feeling safe. It felt like a normal wedding! Highly recommend using the odyssey for any big event, they will live up to any and all expectations!

So amazing. We cannot say enough about Margaret and Maria. They made us feel so special. We had a wonderful night aboard the Odyssey celebrating our one year anniversary. The food was to die for, and the staff is so welcoming it felt as if we were celebrating with family. We hope to enjoy many more cruises aboard these great ships. We highly recommend them to everyone that asks. Thank you again for such an amazing and memorable evening.

Went for best package for new years 2018 and it was great! They could have just done a better job in the desserts and got a better Dj. Overall totally recommended.

Had a group birthday celebration on board the Odyssey and it was such a great experience. The food was fantastic the service was outstanding and the venue of course was beautiful. I got lucky with great weather as well. Very memorable experience!

If youre looking for a remarkable evening or even an office holiday party, the Odyssey is for you. The view was amazing, the food is top tier, and the hosts Pedro and Nick are incredible. The cocktails are also spectacular, thanks Phil. The Boston skyline is nothing until you see it from the Odyssey at night.

We had a wedding on the Odyssey this past weekend and it was a great time. The bar staff was on point with their drinks, the food was amazing and the DJ was killing it. Definitely a great venue to host any sort of event.

Could have been more clear that boarding begins at 6 meant that is your dinner hour and youll have the following 2 hours to enjoy the boat/dancing/experience. beautiful boat, great views, overall friendly staff (the hostess especially, 2nd floor 8/18/19 - shes a second-grade teacher, sorry I dont remember your name!) bartender was miserable and food was I guess what youd expect for a mass-produced meal.

We had a wonderful time sailing on the Odyssey. Our account manager, Elizabeth, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us (which it was). The food was fantastic and our waiter, Eddie, and the bar staff were great and made the night fabulous.

Our server Stacy was wonderful and super friendly and attentive. Thank you Stacy. The food was to die for, i recommend the salmon! The whole cruise is spectacular. The boat is beautiful. upper deck is very nice and great to hangout, relax enjoy your drink and watch the view.

Great atmosphere for both couples and families. They have in-house dance floor and the music is good. Good view of sunset. Just hope for a good sunny day for a clear view of sunset.

It is without any doubt an Excellent experience to live!It was my Birthdays gift from my husband and I couldnt be more pleased.Excellent food, excellent place. Excellent views of the Boston and nearest places coasts. Very romantic. The dinner was luxurious and the atmosphere and service too. You can walk around and go up to the boat deck and stand on the railing while you look at the coast You can also sit on comfortable sofas to enjoy the breeze under the light of the stars. After the dinner the lights got down and the dance music started and with it the real fun!!

If youve been on the Odyssey a while ago, this is a different ship. Great outdoor seating on the top deck. Fantastic views of the Boston Harbor. I went on a lunch time cruise that was a buffet and the food was exceptional! All the buffet stations were replenished as soon as they were empty, service was great! If you are thinking about it...go...you wont be disappointed!

The service staff was phenomenal! The food was delicious. The cocktails were great. I would have given it five stars but the boat itself needs some help. Wallpaper in the stairwells is peeling off. Wood trim features chipped, the stairway hand railings were sticky and the hand rail bases were caked with dirt. Many painted surfaces need to be repainted. We had an aft window table and the ceiling tiles over head were dirty and had black hand prints on them. This is not a cheap Harbor cruise! Brunch and dinner cruises are expensive, high end so to speak. Therefore the cleanliness and overall appearance of the boat should reflect that. Improvements on interior cleanliness and maintenance are much needed on The Odyssey.

We went on a Friday night dinner cruise for our anniversary. The food was very good, the signature cocktails were good...but the boat was very loud. The people inside were so loud I couldnt hear my husband talk. If youre looking for a peaceful dinner cruise with some chill light music this is not what you want. If youre looking for an upscale party boat its exactly what you want.

Planned a surprise birthday party for my wife. From planning to execution, the whole process was a breeze. Darrion and Margaret were on top of things and attended to the details so well that the process was effortless. That evening, Bruce took care of us and really made the evening even more special. Thanks to all!! Every member of the party had a wonderful time!

We had an amazing experience on the odyssey! My fiancé is in a wheelchair and the staff was super helpful getting him up and down the stairs. We couldn’t be more thankful! The only thing was that it rained so we were only able to go on top of the boat for a short period of time. I wish we could have gone when it was nice out and really got to experience it.

Fun experience on the cruise. Food is nothing to rave about, it was decent. Cruise has a full bar, dance floor, and a private room upstairs. Service on board is excellent.

Went here on a company outing. Only one working toilet for the men, the others were disabled or had puke. The food wasnt special and there werent non-alcoholic beverages anywhere.I wouldnt pay to go back. There are better cruises around Boston for the price.

We sailed on the Odyssey yesterday at 1:00 pm. The food was delicious & the staff very friendly. Weather was gorgeous! It was a perfect day!

Such a beautiful evening celebrating my husbands birthday everything was perfect from the service to the food our server gave a personalized card to him with very kind words and a quote. I would definitely suggest this cruise to everyone.

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary on the odyssey Boston. We had a pretty good time overall. However, the windows were all foggy. So there was no views at all unless you went outside on the upper deck which was nice but it was 20 degrees out so not ideal. The food was good. Nothing spectacular but good. We ended up dancing on the small dance floor after dinner which was fun. Overall, the price was not worth it for us since we had no views at our window seat.

My brother had his wedding on the Odyssey this weekend, and everything was great except that we never ended up leaving the dock. Mechanical issues, which after reading other reviews looks to be a pretty common occurrence for this vessel. The food was ok, staff were very nice. Just a heads up for other couples that are looking here for their venue - it was a beautiful day and I am very disappointed we couldnt actually cruise. If and when my brother and his wife get appropriately compensated for this issue I will update this post.Update: they did get well compensated so all is well.

Reserved the Boston Elite for a private party of 55 guests. From boarding to our return to Rowes Wharf, the service was outstanding. Marybeth, Nicholas, Captain Joe and the entire crew and staff were all extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. It was very nice to have the entire boat to ourselves. I would definitely recommend the Boston Elite for corporate and private events.

Don’t book with any of their cruises until 2021, I booked for July 9 my birthday 2020, they texted me today saying enough people didn’t sign up to go on the cruise that day, they can give me a new date or refund my money, and currently they are still handling refunds from April 2020! Are you friggin serious, they just taking people money now to keep the boat afloat and not telling customers that, enough customers are not taking the cruises currently

Had our wedding on the Odyssey, was absolutely perfect. Megan, Kaleigh setup everything, Kaleigh even was there the entire time, she worked her butt off, made sure everything was taken care of. The staff was excellent, bartender to the waiters, captain & crew. The ship was classy, clean, everything we wanted. Food was excellent too, so many compliments from our guests on the entire night. Highly recommend!

The band wasn’t that great, however as soon as the DJ came on things were so much better. The braised beef was okay, nothing special, got about a tablespoon of mashed potatoes though...? The lobster soup was absolutely delicious!!!!All the staff would dance around when the DJ was playing what a great environment!Bar tender Bruce was FANTASIC ! What a great personality and boy does he know how to make drinks !!! Macintosh Apple martini I would totally recommend ! He asked why we decided to go on the cruise we mentioned it was our anniversary and he gave us a gift bag with 2 wine classes, and flowers.Would totally go again!!

My girlfriend took me to celebrate my birthday on 6/23. The staff was friendly, hospitable, and so attentive from when we boarded to when we docked. Thank you Nehreida, Jess and the rest of the team. They even had warm sugar cookies waiting at the end of the ramp when we left. Five STARS in my book 😉

• Cozy cruise ship with decent drinks and pretty good food. You get to see Boston from the sea and pass under the path of the planes that land/take off from Logan, so it’s a fun experience. Unfortunately we went at the same time as a big class of high-schoolers, so it felt a bit crowded, but a fun company event.

We purchased their Mothers Day Harbor Cruise and had an experience that went above and beyond. Myself, my wife, and my two little daughters were basically escorted all the way to the third floor of the boat directly to our seats. We were then greeted by what ended up being the best part of the cruise in Bruce and Kara. They gave my wife a flower and got our drink order immediately. They were attentive and engaged the entire time, even getting to know all our names. Definitely made everything that much more special.From there, the breakfast was amazing, the cruise around the harbor was awesome, and the views were breathtaking. They also had activities for my two-year-old daughter including a man making balloon animals. Definitely a special occasion that well never forget.

I got married on the Odyssey of Boston last fall (09-05-15). The food was fantastic and every guest enjoyed it. It was a perfect day for sailing/cruising and we had a lovely time! The staff on the ship was great, the DJ was wonderful and the boat was lovely. We had 0 issues- smooth sailing all day with out 100 guest wedding!

Celebrated a special event on the Spirit of Boston. We had a marvelous time. The food, the staff, the photo group, the weather, were all perfect. Our event manager was very helpful.I would sail again just for the fun of it. No special event needed.

Great Boston harbor cruise!

Staff was helpful, food was excellent for a private party and the bartender was great. Only downside was the photo sales booth at the end which was overpriced and not very good.Excellent for a group event to get people together to have fun.

My husband and I did the brunch cruise today, the weather was fantastic. Thats really all it had going for it, besides the airplanes flying over head. THAT WAS COOL!The food was nothing special. All the breakfast meat and the strip steak were tough, chewy, and rubbery. Everything else was average expect it was cold. The desserts were definitely made in a factory somewhere and were not fresh.However, the staff were attentive and very nice.Lastly, I did as it was suggested and got my PARKING TICKET validated at the Rowes warf ticket booth and end up paying FULL PRICE FOR PARKING in the garage, which DID NOT MAKE ME HAPPY! Being a Sunday, there was no one in the garage to help so I paid and left!Not something I would do again!

My story:My girlfriend surprised me to a dinner cruise for my birthday. Everything proceeded smoothly at first. Firstly, the directions for locating the ticket station couldn’t have been easier and the staff were extremely welcoming upon boarding. Several of the crew members wished me a happy birthday, which caught me off guard (in a good way). The ship was aesthetically pleasing to the eye (e.g., dining room, dance floor, top deck, bottom deck, bar, restrooms) as the decor wasn’t too overbearing yet simple. Wish we had a heads up from the crew in advance that it may be beneficial to bring a jacket or wear long pants even though it was hot during the day. It was cold on the ship and on the viewing decks, ended up spending the latter part of the night inside by the bathroom which was the only “not freezing” part of the ship.My girlfriend’s perspective:I booked the tickets months in advance because I wasn’t sure how busy it was going to be due to it being the summer. I wanted my boyfriend’s birthday to be particularly special this year since he had accomplished so much recently in school and his career. We had gone on a dinner cruise before for Valentines day in a different city and he had enjoyed it so much that I thought this would be the perfect surprise. Booking was simple and the phone representatives were kind and patient. They told me that the Odyssey was a better cruise ship to board, due to the chef being able to accommodate my dietary restriction (vegan) in the 3-course meal, and the other cruise ship being buffet-style. I was concerned because I had taken a look at the menu in advance and there was literally nothing I could eat because all the choices contained dairy and/or meat. They again reassured me that a note would be going to be given to the chef to make a menu that was accommodating to me.Days leading up to the cruise, I called Odyssey again, just to make sure that they knew I was vegan and that I would be taken care of. The representative told me everything was being taken care of and that I would have appropriate dining choices. I sighed of relief and anxiously waited for the big day.Everything about the day went smoothly. Checking in was easy and the greeters were welcoming and friendly to all the guests. Several of the crew even wished my boyfriend a happy birthday, which was so nice. Most ladies were wearing a cocktail dress and many of the men were wearing shorts and a nice button down shirt. Upon seating at our table, my boyfriend and I immediately regretted not bringing a jacket to wear. So for those of you planning on coming, bring a coat with you because the ship is chilly and temperatures can drop! The ship was decorated nicely (table and all) and our waitress started taking our order. To my surprise, he was not aware that I was vegan and told me that all I could eat was the mushroom ravioli on the menu. Trying not to look too flustered in front of other guests and my boyfriend, I asked him if I could at least eat anything else on the 3-course menu. The waiter suggested that for the first course, out of two options (lobster cream soup and caesar salad) that I could get the salad with the dressing, cheese, and croutons removed from the salad. In my mind, I was thinking, “surely, it won’t just be lettuce”. Since the mushroom ravioli was the only dish I could eat for the main course, I had to order it which was also disappointing since I really don’t like mushrooms... Lastly, since all the desserts were dairy-based, he suggested a fruit cup. As I’m telling the story, please refer to the pictures we are posting. At this point, I was already utterly disappointed in my dinner order since I didn’t have a choice. Which is what the phone representative had assured me. It didn’t take long before my plate of LETTUCE (yes, plain lettuce) came out. The food runner asked me, “this looks pretty plain… would you like the chef to prepare an oil and vinaigrette?”. Extremely embarrassed and shocked, I whispered, “yes, that would be nice”. We waited for more than 10 minutes and no one came by with

The brunch buffet is OK. Obviously you go on this cruise for the sights and experience, not for the food. Its basic buffet food, like youd find at a standard hotel (not a 5-star hotel), but the upper deck is beautiful. Seats arent hard to come by and you can bring your drinks up there while enjoying the view. Oh, on the plus side, they have really good Bloody Marys during brunch (though they cost extra)

It was only fun because it was a work outing with an open bar. If i had paid to attend i would be so angry. The toilets were broken in the mens room. The food was about average. The bartenders didnt know how to make any mix drinks. I was happy to go home

We had a wonderful time aboard celebrating our 12th anniversary. The food was out of this world so so delicious, and the staff is very welcoming specially Steph and Higgins which are wonderful people.

We have been on this cruise before 2 years ago for our anniversary, and we would have given it 5 stars back then. This time it was a lot more disappointing. Last time it was a very nice buffet, but this time we were served from a limited menu, and they took forever to serve it. We found out later that we could have paid more for our ticket and got the buffet. I would recommend this as it is much nicer. The desserts left a lot to be desired. All in all very disappointing from what it used to be like.

The boat was great, the food was GREAT really 5 star, servers and staff were AWESOME, the champagne was great, the music, singers and DJ were GREAT. This cruise is worth every penny. Our waitress Ericka was very friendly, funny and never left us hanging, she was awesome, the bus boy Maurice was awesome as well, he checked on us every few mins and were never were in need of anything, Ericka and Maurice both did a GREAT job. The boat is beautiful, dinner is spectacular, the dancing was so much fun, Me and my fiance will be returning customers atleast once a year if not more for last nights experience. Great job Odyssey Boston!

Me and my wife planned our 5year anniversary dinner back in AugustTo find out the boat wasnt going out becuse of mechanical issues with this ship however we were told at the dock that the captain had called out.They did give us a refund however it was a huge inconvenience and did not find out until we were at the ship. Not a very comforting feeling not having people within a company that do not follow through. Here is why I felt this way: I looked into Odyssey (1 month ago) and spent time on the phone with 2 different people.1 for booking a corporate event for my company.2. for booking a wedding with them. After both phone calls & having great conversation, I never heard back from either person I spoke to.

Fiancés birthday dinner. Service was bad, waiter kept getting every order wrong but that ambiance was great. And when the order did come out, the food was good.
