Haircut was sub par but nothing surprising considering its just a cheap haircut place. Service was good. Convenient location, decent size and well equipped.

They follow the COVID-19 policies in regulating safety which is great. Making an appointment over the phone was smooth. Reason for my not so high review is because of the actual haircut. For $25 ($21 with tips) I look pretty much the same as when I walked in. I asked for a comb-over which is very common for men and was told it wasnt achievable given my short hair which isnt true because I had done it before many times. I asked to blend my hair but ended up looking like a square. You get the point.

Fantastic service! My stylist (Jan Marie) was very professional. She did such a great job on my hair (she even trimmed my eyebrows), and her positive attitude made my day. The price was fantastic too, the whole experience cost less than 20 dollars! I will definitely return once I move back into town. I HIGHLY recommend this barber shop!

Love it. The guy who cut my hair - never had a haircut like it. I always get something simple, like a buzz cut, but he took the extra time to go over my head multiple times to make sure there were no extras or bits hanging out, and moreover hit the edges like a pro 🤙🏻 would totally recommend this shop.

Hi all you Helen fans! Yes, she has moved to this 101 Summer location. Formerly she was working at 829 Boylston Street. As you all know she is fabulous!!! She could open her own shop. If you havent had Helen cut (or whatever) your hair yet, well she treat yourself. Soon you will find you will be requesting her. Always a great cut, super friendly, personable, seeing Helen is a blessing.

This 5-star review is specifically for Helen. I would give the overall store about a 3, given that its small and cramped with little waiting space. Helen deserves a 5, however. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with your hair and is not afraid to tell you what would or wouldnt work best for you. I have not let anyone else touch my hair since I have been going to Helen for a little over 2 years now.

Short wait times even though the store was very busy. Louise was wonderful and managed to give a great cut despite me having difficult hair. She was personable, fast, and profoundly knowledgable.

I had a horrible experience here. I called in advance to make an appointment but after 5:00 pm they only take walk-ins. I explained to the lady on the phone that I would like highlights, wash, cut, and blow-dry. She said we can do that just come right in. I arrived at the location at 5:05 pm. The stylist stated in a rude way they can not do the highlights it is to late. I was okay with that and asked for just a wash, cut, and blow-dry. He said he cant do that either because they have a lot of appointments coming in. I stated that when I called to make an appointment they said I can that it is only walk ins, first come first service. I asked him what can he do, he said just a cut. I decided to take my business elsewhere to Leeba Salon. Best decision I made!!

I keep my hair basic to the extreme. Clean trim, neat and professional. This place does a consistently good job although there is noticeable difference in the skill level between various stylists. I can almost always get seated as a walk-in during their busy lunch hour, so turnover is fast.

I went to this Supercuts location after checking in online two hours before. Of course there was a line when I got there, I expected to wait a little. It was my turn next, but the gentleman who was going to cut my hair said “no it’s not”. The other stylists confirmed yes it is her turn she checked in online, but he said “no it doesn’t matter” and promptly ignored me. The whole interaction was rude and unpleasant and I left without a haircut. Don’t go to this place if you are a woman expecting to be treated fairly, this place appears to be for business men with short hair only.

Very hit or miss, got a great cut here by one person and one of the worst haircuts I have ever got in my life by another. If you find someone you like, stick with them!

Butchered my hair cut. I look bald in some spots and hairy in others, its extremely uneven. Honestly idk what I was expecting going into a super cuts but if you want a good hair cut go literally anywhere else.

Very careless, I tried showing a picture of what I wanted and the barber just shaved off so much more. Took about five minutes, which you think would be good, but it was just a quick and negligent process

Im a repeat customer for many years. I appreciate the efficiency of the business. Be sure to use the Supercuts app for advance check-in. This location is in the heart of the financial district. It can get really busy around lunch time. Be sure to ask for Sam. Hes been cutting my hair for 20 years! If hes not around, ask for Louise. Free WiFi is available. Always felt awkward and axious about going to a hair cuttery and not knowing how to explain the cut I wanted. Not only did I get the cut I wanted, the woman cutting my hair gave me an easy phrase to remember so Id always know what to say to get the cut in the future.

This location is a lot smaller than surrounding Supercuts. I havent had much experience with most staff as my go to is Helen. She has been cutting my hair since 2013 and always does a great job. Shes attentive, very skilled and extremely accomodating. With that being said, they dont get 5 stars as there is always a 15 minute wait even with appointments. Not the worst thing in the world as the cut is worth it, but if youre in a rush its good to keep in mind. You may have the option of other staff however.

Good value, and if you call ahead, you can cut your wait down significantly.

The service is ok at the Summer st branch. When you say you dont want a cut shorter than your chin line, they go short anyway then blow-dry it into an awkwardly short bob and try to upsell you on products that cost way more than the haircut.

Ive had great experiences with overall haircuts at super cuts but I went in for a bangs trim and it was terrible. I showed two pictures of my ideal bangs length and said not past my eyebrows and the lady twisted my bangs together and snipped with no follow up styling. My bangs are crazy short and uneven. I should have done them myself and am disappointed.

I had trouble finding the perfect stylist. No one got my hair the way I wanted it to be. Until I met Louise. She not only gives me the perfect haircut and style EVERY time, but she also talks to me and takes an interest. She is now the only stylist I let touch my hair. A+++

When you suck at giving military haircuts, dont do them. When you pay $67 for 2 kids and one adult in the military. Its just a rip off. All the cuts were bad. No military discount and nobody was taking their time even when it wasnt busy. Will not be going back here again.
