I always love the cuts I get here. Alex always gives my hair a clean look with good with great attention to detail. And he’ll also make sure it’s exactly how I want it. Unfortunately my current place is a bit too far, but I’m sure I’ll be back at some point!

Ive been going to Society for about a year now. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Both guys cut hair amazingly well and the cuts are always fresh. They have great conversation and the vibe is always chill. I normally have a good experience here but the barber I booked did not show and did not call to let me know when to expect him. No follow up to reschedule or try to remedy the situation. I was on a tight schedule and this threw off my whole day. Just seemed very unprofessional.

When I originally moved to Boston about a year ago I was bouncing around from shop to shop and never found a cut that I was happy with. Since then I have found Society Barbershop and have been going here religiously for a little over 6 months now. The cuts from Alex are always consistently excellent at very affordable rates. Every time I go in he knows exactly what I want, and I always leave happy. I highly recommend Society Barbershop especially if you were like me bouncing around from shop to shop.

He is very careful to make sure I am satisfied. Ive been to high-end stylists in the past and always left a little more stressed than when I came in. This place is the best! Quick and affordable haircut with excellent customer service. I asked for a fade and scissors on top and a shave. The haircut was great and the shave included hot towel service and cooling cream! It was awesome! Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Alex finally got his own shop! Easily one of the best barbers in all of Boston, and now better than every working on his own. Hell take the time to understand what kind f cut you want, and take even better time to make sure you are more than satisfied. He can do almost any haircut, and I do get a different hair design every time which he never fails with. 10/10 cant recommend enough!

Alex has been cutting my hair for 4 years-- even before this shop opened. Hes one of the most skillful barbers Ive had in my life. I stumbled upon this little shop just recently opened by Tremont street. It is ran by two very chill professionals. I ended up with Alex and he was exactly what I was looking for in a barber. Just arrived in Boston yesterday and found Alexs shop near where I was staying. He was very empathetic, when I told him what I wanted (to grow my hair out but tidy it up a little for the time being) he listened and asked follow up questions to be sure. Been going to Alex for the past 9 months, always awesome service. He always gives recommendations about what would look good and what wouldn’t; constant compliments from friends since I started going here. Love everything about it. The barber shop uses booksy, so it’s wicked easy to set up an appointment. Sometimes I forget and do a walk-in, but he’s always super accommodating, texting me if someone cancels their appointment day-of, or working after hours to give me a haircut when I had a wedding that weekend. Terrible experience. I got recommended by a friend of mine Madeline to go see a barber named Alex . She kept harassing me about my haircut and hairline and making fun of me. I didnt like that one bit, so i said you know what i might give this guy Alex a try. Once i got there i was greeted, seemed like every barber wanted to cut my hair. I told the guy i am here to see Alex. He seemed upset and pointed to me where Alex was cutting hair at. I waited about 3 hours for my haircut, and on top of that i asked him to cut my hair not too short and he cut it almost to the scalp. Terrible experience not coming here again. this Alex guy is not good.

Got a cut with Freddy, I usually don’t get a hair cut with any one except my own Baber but since moving to Boston it’s been harder for me to make it up to lowell on a regular basis to cut my hair and get a shape up. That said Freddy is complete profesional and put away all my “new baber anxieties” he listen to all the particulars of how I like my shape up and did a fantastic job.
