I was a walk in. Visiting for a convention and needed a haircut. Based on Google reviews it was this place or a couple of others nearby. I choose one of the others but they never opened when they said they were supposed to so I came here. And boy Im glad I did! The attention to detail, the care for the customer, the professionalism is top notch. No rush job here, they make sure you get a great haircut. I especially love the old school details like the hot lather around the ears and neck cleaned up with a straight blade. Very Italian. And a decent price on top of all that! Seek this place out down the side hall of this office building, it is well worth it!

My company relocated to downtown crossing and I was looking for a good barbershop nearby. One of my coworkers tried out Di Salvos and recommended them so I gave it a try.The place is Great! I walked in during a busy time and still barely had to wait, the barber took his time and gave a great haircut. This is my new go to place, I was really impressed!

Worst Haircut Ive ever had. They cut my beard with scissors ! Like who does that, just take a razor... !!! And I asked for a skin fade and at the end I still had hair on the base of the fade.. like its called skin fade not for nothing. The person even asked me what clipper size I use for the fade.. like your the barber not me, get to know your things. And finally I had to pay 40$ for the worst haircut of my life. If you want to get out of the shop and look fresh, dont go there.

Only reason they didn’t get one start is because they keep the scissors sharp. He didn’t rip at my hair, but I asked 3 times 3 ways for a long cut and gave an exact length top and bottom. Didn’t listen and it got chopped short, not really even or well faded and there’s a dip on the side, and even shorter in front for some reason. Came in just 2 minutes late, but really because I was last of the day he just told me there was no time to shave, half the reason I go to that shop. Not a fair price for how it was done. Honestly, one star experience.

Tried this place out because I was working in town. Derek cut my hair and was wicked awesome. Gave me the cut that I wanted and made sure of it. I will definentley come back here again. Price was very reasonable for Beantown.

Came here a while back to get a haircut based on the good reviews. Dont make my mistake and make sure you know who will get as a barber which might be the reason I had such a bad experience.I got one of the worst haircuts that I had ever gotten from a barbershop (that includes the cheap ones like supercuts or great clips). It was that bad that I had to ask the barber to just give me a buzzcut. My barber (which was an older lady) seamed to lack basic skills of cutting hair, and even the buzzcut was bad. (It looked like that I had many cuts on my head because of it).

Really great for a haircut and nice;y priced for downtown. They are quick too

I didnt know it on my walk there, but going to DiSalvos Barber Shop was a very regrettable mistake. I get there and had the old lady mentioned in a previous review that seemed to have very little knowledge of what she was doing. I sat in the chair and got spun all around in different directions for 15-20 minutes as I dizzily watched all the other customers getting their haircut while calmly facing the mirror. Normally, the barber moves around the chair instead of spinning the customer continuously throughout. It was a straight number 2 buzzcut and I didnt end up with clean sharp edges (low quality). I mustve been in a good mood when I went because when I was charged $35 at the end !FOR A BUZZCUT! I somehow managed to fight back the urge of turning around and running out without paying a dime which I also deeply regret. Maybe the other barbers are more knowledgeable, but the management decision of even hiring this one is enough to make me recommend that nobody go there, unless of course $35 for a mediocre hatchet job is your cup of tea.
