Jared, the owner, spent the first five minutes educating me on hair density and growth patterns and how the shape of my head will contribute to the look that I want. He suggested a slightly altered look to what I described based on these factors and the outcome was the best haircut Ive had in years. My first haircut here and I will be back. This is my new place for amazing cuts. Jared is very skilled. He’s a polite professional young man. When Jared asked me what he could do for me today he listened I could tell he was listening to what I wanted in a haircut and he did exactly that. I was also very impressed with the COVID-19 precautions after he finished with the customer before me he spent several minutes wiping down and disinfecting the entire station the chair the instruments. He also used one of those sanitizing light wands to disinfect everything else I’ve never seen another shop do this. The price of a haircut at this location is well worth it The interior of the shop is really nice too big leather sofas giant screen TVs a very comfortable welcoming atmosphere. Two thumbs up for Jared and haircuts at this location. Turns out we had mutual acquaintances from the North end of Boston we talked about family ties there and it was nice brought back some good memories of my uncle Sonny he was the muffin king of Boston.

I had my haircut for the first time there with Jared today. This guy is a sculptor. His lines are straight and clean. He asks questions, explains what’s he’s going to do, and does his best to give you exactly what you want. His attention to detail results in a haircut that makes you feel like a billion bucks. Jared’s a master barber who is skilled with both clippers and scissors. Just moved to Boston for work and needed to get cleaned up before seeing some new clients. Jared was patient with my request and was also taking Covid-19 precautions seriously, being sure to deep clean the chair, etc. and ensuring social distancing. My son and I have been going to Jared @ District Barbers for 4 months now...his services are beyond exceptional! He takes his time to really make sure your cut looks great and my15 yr old son really appreciates that he knows the styles that appeal to teens as well! Making appointments..and their business hours that include Mondays..are super easy on their website. I would highly recommend both Jared and District Barbers!

The man who did the service made sure it was fine. He began shaving my hair, and then he kept staring at my beard and kept making changes just to make it fine. His attention to detail was very much appreciated. He doesnt make you feel under any pressure. Im really pleased with the service.

Jared and Chris are both amazing barbers who are very highly skilled. I have personally had my hair cut by both of them and I can say without a doubt, whether they are your full time barber or you may just be dropping in during a trip to Boston, that they will cut your hair perfectly every time.I often give them a some input on what I’m looking for and they are both very honest with their opinions on what they think will work and won’t work for my own personal look and I appreciate that. Often barbers just cut to what you ask for and not what your head shape, hair and facial features call for. And I think it’s the true sign of a superb barber if they can blend your ask with what actually works for you and they have the courage to tell you this. You’d take the advice of your mechanic/plumber/personal trainer, so why not your barber, it’s their profession?

Best haircut I have had in Boston. Financial district is tough for quality barber shops. Enter the new District Barbers Boston.Large new facility downstairs on High Street, just off Atlantic Avenue. In the same building as Mikes Cafe. Saw a barber pole attached to the building and investigated.Making an appointment was a breeze on the website. Large, freshly redone facility felt quit high end.Full service shop, including straight razor shaves. I had been looking for a shop with beard related services to help me maintain my full beard. Well, I found it with Chris Millis. He did a great job on both my hair cut and my beard.Heavily thinning hair like I have can be a challenge, but not for this Master Barber. Straight razor shave edging left me lined up and looking good.Even recommended them to my 69 year old partner, now that his long time barber has retired. The next day when I complemented him on the hair cut, he told me that he loved his cut and had a great experience.5 Stars, cant wait to go back soon.

You can always count on Jarrid or Chris making you look 10 fold better leaving than when you walked in the door. Their website makes it easy to schedule appts that works for your desired level of service or barber selection to prevent any long waits (time is money). If you do catch yourself waiting for a few minutes there will always be solid playlist and two flat screens to keep you entertained. It’s essentially a Beantown version of Lebron’s HBO series “The Shop”. Jarrid is a true professional and talented entrepreneur. It won’t be long before this place blows up on the scene. BEST SHOP IN BOSTON.. hands down.
