I responded to an ad on Facebook Marketplace and Gabriella from Mark Roos got in touch. Gabriella was super responsive, professional, and gave me an array of options to choose from that all fit my criteria. I feel like a lot of agents will stretch your criteria and offer you places 100-200 above your budget, but Gabriella never did that. She was able to set up a series of tours for me so I could see a bunch of places all in a single afternoon. I ended up applying later that night (tonight) and shes continued to assist me through the application process. I definitely recommend Gabriella if you contact this agency directly. Shes great!

We had the best experience with finding apartment with the broker Andy Chao here! He showed us the apartments exactly suited for our needs and the only concern we had is which of the suggested to choose since both seemed extremely attractive for us and competitive. As for timeline: on Saturday we at first saw the apartments, on Sunday we started an application process in office, on Tuesday we were approved, next day we signed lease agreement and finally received keys on Sunday, so it took 8 days for the whole process of obtaining apartments. Stay away from this dishonest company unless you like to be yelled and cheated. Their agent, Catherine Park, teaches me a big lesson: once you have signed the lease and paid the one-month deposit to them, they can do whatever they want to you. People wont bother to hire a lawyer to sue them for a few hundred dollars. The unscrupulous agents know this very well and try to take full advantage of it.Mrs Park is not only irresponsible and bossy but also dishonest. During my term of lease, she enjoyed to tell us what to do by threatening with deducting our deposit. In addition, she basically ignored ALL my requests for maintenance and unblushingly told me the issue is not a life-threatening matter. What is even more ridiculous is she deducted my deposit for the item she did not fix. As we had disagreement with her, she yelled at me like a psycho. And she promised us some benefits before signing the lease but broke it at the end... Anyway, learn from my lesson and keep away from this company and the agent.

This realty company just listed my property as theirs on zillow and didnt ask my permission. How are they going to show it? Ive called and no one answers. I sent a request through zillow. Andy Chao is the best! He is very honest and attentive, and will try to get you the best price for the apartment you’re looking for! A couple of hours before our first apartment showing, he texted me (a complete stranger) to tell me truthfully how small the apartment is after he saw it for the first time himself. After that showing, he listened to what my roommate and I were looking for in an apartment and our price range. The next day, he emailed me a four different listings. Then he followed through with my request to see all of the viewings in one day. When my roommate and I saw the apartment we liked, he offered to help us get a lower price for the place. Andy always has your best interests at heart, he’s great!

Marc Roos Realty helped my colleague find a room in one of their own properties (they are both landlord as well as broker) for a three month stay. At the end of the stay the property did not return my colleagues security deposit, claiming that my friend didnt give sufficient notice before her move out date. The lease was a fixed term 3 month lease, the move out date had been known from the beginning. So this claim was bogus and a (successful) attempt to con my colleague out of the security deposit. My colleague is on her flight back to her country and I cannot take Marc Roos to small claim court because it is not my case, brilliant!I have tried to reach help my colleague to receive her deposit back. The office at MRR just tells me that Marc is the boss, he is not in the office, I dont know when he gets back, please give me your information and he will call you back. There is nothing I can do for you. Of course, Marc didnt call.

Worked specifically with Linda R. She was unprofessional, unorganized, confrontational and made claims that she could get deals when she actually ended up costing us more. The process was long and confusing and annoying. Very happy we were able to pull out of our rental application with her and the company. With the plethora of agents available in Boston, would stay away from this one.Edit in response to their response to me:lindas apartment listing had the price at 3500$. We told her upfront we had three people potentially moving in and she said they wanted to move it fast so shed get it to us for $3400. She was unable to get that discount and in fact came back to us that it was going to be 100$ more a month than what was listed and what we initially signed paperwork for. We repeatedly woke up to emails in ALL CAPS from linda, who was unable to comprehend that Zelle was not an acceptable delivery of funds through our respective banks. Your response perfectly embodies how poor your customer service is as a group.Your copy of my email response, which I believe you thought was a GOTCHA! moment is futile. yes, I did not provide you with the appropriate documentation, which allowed us to not have to do further business with you.

While I didnt find a place with Marc Roos Realty (though it was a very close call), I can say they were extremely professional and the realtor I worked with, Andy, was determined to find a new place for my friend and I. Andy stayed in close contact about new places and was sensitive to our needs the entire time; he maintained a flexible schedule and was the best realtor Ive worked with so far.

My brother was trying to get an apartment and this company took our $1700 deposit and then denied his application after we already sent them the money. Seeing all the bad reviewe they have all online I can see it being really tough to get our money back.

No one like surprise fees. this is what I got upon me when I was told that if a payment done in a particular way, it would have no extra charge. I came in the next day and they charged me $50 extra. And I couldnt get the check until I paid that amount.Wow.
