Firestone couldnt fix my problem, I dropped mu vehicle off on Thursday evening and they fixed my engine and had it back to me the following week. The quoted price I got over the phone was more than what they charged me. I love being able to save money. I definitely will go back for any other repairs

Five stars across the board. This place nailed it when repairing my clapped out 2001 Mazda Miata. She runs like a top now and it was well worth the cost. If youre in the Shreveport/Bossier area and need a fix this is the place.It wont come cheap, but cheap work usually isnt good. They stand behind their work and will take care of you.

I’ve got an Infiniti g25 and the transmission went bad on it. I took my car to Benton road auto repair and they made sure they got me the best transmission to put in my car. My car now drives and operates a lot better with the new transmission they put in. I went to BRAR to have my brakes fixed, and I was very pleased with the quality of their service. They clearly communicated the issues with my car, the steps they would take to fix it, and how much parts and labor would cost. My total came in under the quote.When a separate issue emerged during the inspection process, I made them aware of it and they took care of it as well.When I picked up my car, it had been washed and polished up, so it looked as great as it drove.I will definitely use them again.

I called them to see if they could work on my 1991 Mustang GT. They couldn’t, but John was very helpful and referenced me to another place that could work on an old car. Asked me to call him back in case his reference didn’t work and wanted to make sure I got the help I needed, even if it wasn’t from his business. I can tell they care about people as people, not as customers.

I had work done here recently and found it to be a positive experience. Shop foreman is top notch and answered all my questions thoroughly. Front end staff were courteous. Shortly after dropping my vehicle off, I received a text indicating what problems they found and it corresponded exactly with what I suspected to be the problem(s), e.g. bad rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket and oil pressure sending unit. It took a while to get my vehicle back but I suspect they had a good number of customers before me. I saw ambulances and many business vehicles and knew this was a good sign...that this establishment was trusted locally. A couple days after receiving my vehicle, I received a follow-up text from the owner himself asking if I were satisfied with my experience. I appreciated that as it shows a genuine concern for their customers. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting reputable auto repair at fair price. ☺

Benton Road Automotives organization and efficiency impressed me from the moment I called them. They have dozens of vehicles on their lot for repair, which speaks to how good they are of course, but concerned me because I thought it could be days or weeks before they could get to me. My experience was nothing like that.I dropped my pickup off on a Wednesday, I had a warranty issue with a refurbished engine Id bought. They told me up front exactly how long it would take to diagnose the issue, deal with the manufacturer, get parts in, and complete the work. At least two weeks. On Friday I had a text with a link to a full diagnosis of my truck highlighting areas of urgent concern, general concern, and listing what was fine.On Monday afternoon I was contacted with exactly what my issue was with the engine. It would only take a day to repair. I asked them if they could overhaul my brakes while they had it (an area of urgent concern that I was already aware of) since I was already expecting to be without my truck for several days more. The big issue was that one of my calipers was leaking - easily several hundred dollars. They called me the next day and let me know that it wasnt the caliper but my axle seal - less than a $100 instead of several hundred.They also replaced my struts and shocks and were done by Thursday.There was a problem with my credit card that was an administrative issue and the office manager took the reigns and stayed on the phone with the company for almost an hour until it was reconciled. While waiting I watched the receptionist handle customer after customer, phone call after phone call, with a calm smile and professionalism without wasting a second, whether the customer was calm, panicky, talkative, impatient, or a complete jerk. It was amazing to watch.When all was done with my truck I asked if I could swap them my wifes car. Its a GMC Acadia and a low beam headlight was out. You cant change those yourself and the dealer wanted $475 to do it because you have to take the front assembly off. They said they could do it for around $350.I left it with them on Thursday afternoon, got the same diagnosis link as I had gotten for my truck on Friday. They scheduled the work for Monday. I got a call on Monday saying it was only going to cost $150 because they didnt have to take the entire front assembly off and it would be ready that afternoon.I was telling my Mother-in-law about my experience. I have never heard my Mother-in-law speak well of an auto repair shop. Never. She told me that Benton Road Automotive was the ONLY place that had ever made her happy and she wished she still lived in the area every time she had a car problem. THAT is high praise.Mandy, Jennifer, John, and Kenny took care of me and they will take care of you, too.

I was given a recommendation to try Benton Auto for our car needs. Boy am I glad I took their advice. I have never in my 57 years encountered a place like Benton Auto. Professional, friendly, quality service are just a few of their qualities. We received our cars back with a wash and vacuum(didn’t expect that) and a small gift bag in the drivers seat(really didn’t expect that) and of course the cars were fixed and ready for the road. This is the second time I took my vehicle to them expecting to be a serious expensive problem. This is the second time I was presently wrong. Both times I could have gotten taken. Not only the 1st time was less than half what I expected, the second time it was easily fixed and they did it free. Mandy and Jennifer in the office are outstanding and keep you informed about the status. The mechanic and owner review the work done. The service and ethics are beyond belief. Update.Truck is fixed and the operations manager called and talked to me. He explained what was going on and took full responsibility for the lack of communication. Basically it was an oversight but again he was apologetic and took responsibility. I can appreciate that!They never call with updates, even when they say they will. You will have to call them to get anything. We spent over 7K to get our truck fixed and then a few weeks later the engine light can on again. It was something they told me they fixed. Again its with them hopefully to get it right this time but again they don’t update. Its been three days and they haven’t even touched it even though they told us to drop it off on a Tuesday so they could work it the next day! Disappointed!

Most honest repair shop I’ve ever used. Never had an issue reoccur after a repair. Courteous and friendly staff. Their prices always end up beating the national average for a repair. I’m even using them for my oil changes; it may take longer than the “in and out” places but I know it will be done right. I wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else.

I sent my wife here to get the AC serviced because at full blast it barley knock the sweat off. It was practically useless. I dropped it off at 4 pm. They called me the next day around 11with a detailed description of the issue and a cost to repair. But 430 that evening they call and said my truck was done. We picked it up and the estimate they gave was what I paid. Also they washed it. How awesome is that?!?! But now for the upsetting part. As Im typing this I cant see through my glasses because they are icing up. Ugh. If not one thing is another. First world problems right? I digress. The team here is amazing! super friendly! I am 47 years old and have lived in Shreveport/Bossier area my entire life and I will tell you that it is almost impossible to find a good honest auto mechanic shop but after 47 years I have finally found one with Benton Road Auto! They could have easily done the work on my vehicle and made $1,000 but they were able to get Chrysler to warranty a bad fuel pump, get it towed to Chrysler and follow up with me to make sure the vehicle was repaired and on time. I promise you that no other shop would have done that. For them you could clearly tell that it wasn’t about making money, it was about helping people. Of course they have to make a profit to stay in business but they lost money by helping me out and getting Chrysler to warranty the part. It was the right thing to do, they knew it, and went above and beyond to do that for me. By them doing that I saved over $600. Everything they did proves two things, that they are honest and that they care. Because of that every vehicle I have that needs work will go to them for the rest of my life and I will recommend them to anyone I meet. But on top of the honest they actually know what they are doing. They are very professional, fast, friendly, clean, and have amazing technicians that know vehicles. Thank you to Jennifer and Mandy, the two ladies that work the front desk and help customers. It is very nice to go into a place a see a smiling friendly face there to greet you. My warranty company tried to send them 2 different used junk engines and this repair shop spent hours on the phone with the warranty company to get me a brand new engine instead of the junk engines the warranty company kept trying to send. Dependable, professional, and detailed communication throughout the process

I took in truck for air check, after having appointment, made three days in advance. They kept truck all day, after being told they would get to it, I arrived back at 4 and it had not been touched. I took truck home for weekend and told them we would be back Monday. On Mon, same thing. Dropped off at 8, told only three vehicles in front and it would be looked at. Around 1pm, called to check and told that it was about to have a technician look at it. At 4pm, stopped by to get vehicle and it again had not been looked at. Will not be recommending and taking vehicle somewhere else to get serviced. You do not make appointments if you know you do not have a tech that is going to be able to work on the vehicle. This is just poor customer service. If they had been honest up front and scheduled appointment out, it would have been completely different.

The staff at this facility is fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will definitely be back for my car needs!

Stopped by at almost 5 pm on a Friday. They came out to listen to the AC problem. They scheduled me for 7:30 am Monday. I’m very pleased with their work and professionalism, and recommend them 100%.

John and the crew did an amazing job on my truck! The said it would be done on Tuesday and I got it back the day before, all cleaned up too!! The replaced my transmission with a jasper one for a very reasonable price!

They were okay, neglected to do my work because of issues related a noise I wa hearing, I respect their decision, I think they thought that they couldnt rectify the issue the wat I wanted them too. They waived the diagnostic and I took my truck elsewhere.
