G&C Towing and Recovery. In my case recovery was the operative word. I sunk a 50,000 lb piece of equipment in a mud hole up to the floor and the surrounding ground was saturated. Prior to speaking with Chris, I was told would probably need a dozer or excavator to get it out, on top of that would have to wait for the ground to dry. I could go on and on but the point is he came in with one of his trucks and a couple guys (Brian and Steve) and pulled it out with ease, “Unreal”! (DJ) This young man bent over into my wrecked car and moved stuff around and helped me find my belongings in the car.. there was glass and metal and all kinds of broken stuff and he still managed to get my stuff out of my car.Thank you again DJ.EVERYONE who worked there including the office staff was very, very nice and professional.I didnt have an appointment.. I have used G&C several (approx. 4) times in the past to tow my classic 1969 Corvette. This last time the car would not start, so I called for a tow. Upon arrival the driver attempted to jump the car to no avail, so I had it towed to my mechanic, explaining to G&C that I would call to pay later that night. Of course life happens and I forgot to call. What happened next I did not expect. The next morning, the owner Chris called me irate questioning my character, saying I was not a man of my word etc.etc. Of course I proceeded to pay when I called the receptionist back within the hour. The situation was a categoric insult to me as a repeat customer whom has always payed ALL my bills. Additionally, my mechanic jumpstarted the car with a jump box first try. This, of course caused be to question the integrity of G&C. Needles to say I would steer clear of this company.

They are great, fair priced and quick. Anytime I have a tire issue, I make the trek to Bonita from Fort Myers because I trust them so much. If possible, they will plug your tire instead of trying to upsell you a brand new one. I always trust their judgment and love their fairness towards their customers. 10/10.

You know those times when you pay less than what you had expected? This will not be one of them. I had my compressor on trailer towed by G & C after an accident. They were professional at the site and got it done. It went downhill after that. The receptionist is very good at answering the phone and telling how much you owe. I could not, however, get anyone to simply go in the lot to measure my trailer. I also was not able to look at my itemized bill until all $954 was paid. Huh??? The storage fee was $40 per day for an item 1/3 the size of a car. They charge holidays and weekends. They’ll tow you then but won’t let you get it out. I give the receptionist credit for stating the owner’s policies with a straight face. There’s a job waiting for her in politics if she wants a change. She would never give me a straight answer whether I would get the help to load it. So, before I paid, I wanted to speak to the manager. He was not happy and I saw a side of him painted in the other reviews. They did help me load my equipment and gave me some advice on tying it down. So, if you are compliant and willing to pay whatever price, then you do well with them. You may also live in a penthouse on the beach. I don’t know. If you have questions or maybe challenge a thing of two, then don’t expect a fun time. My tow was good but the storage fee was excessive.

While traveling out of state, the last thing you want is to have to find a mechanic you do not know. Had car issues 1k miles from home and was directed here. A simple fix and we are back on the road! Honest, quick and friendly. Wish these guys were closer to home!

Our truck broke down and we had it towed to G&C. We thought it was the fuel pump. We even bought the pump and were having them install it for us. After 3 hours of work it turned out to be our key. The guys here were very helpful and actually went out of the way to make sure we had the truck fixed right. They were not able to do what was needed but set us up with the people who could and we were up and running quickly after.

After being in a terrifying accident, which was my first one ever; the crew of G&C were so understanding and accepting that I did not have my original title to my car I needed help scraping. With not having any idea what to do I was completely out of my element and honestly, filled with so much stress of not knowing what to do.... but with the help and guidance of Chris Jordan and Roger (along with their second party dispatcher victor) I was given enough time to pay the dues needed to be payed and within 24 hrs I was able to handle my old car and the issues it came with. This company truly helps with people so well and to the best of their abilities in regards to a persons circumstance; by helping you learn as you go when life throws you into a mess like this. Had my alignment done not too long ago on my CTS and had no issues and also they were best priced in town. Ive known the owner for years since I worked in that building when it was a gas station as a young adult and he has always been pretty cool, more straight forward with things.

Always treated well! My wife and I both service our vehicles here, and my in laws do as well. They provide us with high quality service, and we are always given the red carpet treatment. They also use BG Products, which means I get to keep my protection plan through BG. As someone who knows a lot about working on cars, I am a huge fan of BG. All in all, always a GREAT experience here. Great place to take your car or truck for service, I recommend them to anyone!

What a scam! Over $250 for a new battery! Dont let this happen to you. The tow truck driver, Chris, advised that I have my dead Suburban dropped off at G and C instead of the Chevy dealer where I wanted it towed because I could save a lot of money.Wrong.I caved in. Big mistake.The rude manager hiding behind the glass doors had the mechanic put the battery on a charger. I had already done this at home and knew I needed a new battery not a charge.He also wanted me nowhere around watching what they were doing.I demanded that they remove the charger, but was still charged over $100 for this diagnosis.Be careful if you have BP Amoco as your motor club as this is the tow company they use.No more G (gouge) and C (con) for me.

Went back to them to have some service done on the car and they were more than reasonable on the price and the service was fast and well done.. Hard to find good places like this. Trailer plug on my Dodge Ram 2017 was not working. Cause was more than likely a fuse. G&C said they tested and there was nothing wrong with my trailer plug. I went home plugged it in to my trailer and still did not work. I called them back and they said there is nothing they can do. I took to another shop and they diagnosed a blown fuse, replaced it, and it now works. G&C charged me $56.00 for nothing. Not sure if they are lazy or incompetent. Very disappointing. I want to support small local business whenever possible. Customer service at front desk & when speaking to the mechanic was poor...felt like I was imposing on them. I dont recommend using them.

Would highly recommend G&A Automotive and Towing - we were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, advice and responsiveness from Brian Buckler, Melodee Purtee and the owner after our parents’ vehicle was rear-ended. Brian provided us with good advice on clearing the car contents, ensuring the license plates were kept for us, and clearly explaining the fees for car storage until the insurance company dealt with the car. Melodee assisted with paperwork, was readily available and responsive to our questions and was always friendly, and supportive. When we had to revisit their site, the owner came out to meet us, pleasantly describing his business and giving us advice on how to keep costs down. And, we felt the car had been safely secured - confidential documents, wallets and personal items were all intact (save for items damaged in the collision). We were pleasantly surprised, given the terrible accident, to have this part of the situation go so well. Thank you to the team at G&C!

My vehicle won’t lock the doors if the keys are still in it. However, I am using a different SUV and so when I slammed the door shut, all the doors locked—with the keys inside. It’s been a long time since I’ve done this.I had just attended another inspiring worship service at the Spring’s Church in the park and I phoned to find a AAA tow truck service, but I couldn’t. One company I called told me they no longer affiliate with AAA, but I should call G & C as he has heard they often help people in the area I was in. Sure enough, I called them and was cheerfully told they would be there in 5 minutes.They were able to unlock within a few minutes. I was happy already. Then, I couldn’t believe what I had heard when they told me they are members of the church and there would be no charge. I tried to insist they take at least part of their regular rates, but they would not.She told me, “Thanks for worshipping at the Springs, say hello next Sunday.”What can I say? What an act of kindness. I will pass it on!

Owner should work on his people skills. EXTREMELY RUDE to customers. Witnessed him yelling at a customer. He may be right but there is no need to talk to customers that way. If only his attitude was as clean as his trucks.

If you are told something make sure to get it in writing. The owner is not trustworthy and does not keep his word. Hell tell you to take a couple of days to think about his offer and then charges you double in storage for taking the 2 days. When you try to talk to him he hides in back and youre told he has meetings all day. Definitely the type of person to kick you when youre down.

Great shop. Its hard to find a place with good service and friendly staff but this shop has both. Very happy with them.

By far the least professional, rudest people in the auto industry Ive ever come into contact with. Turns every convetsation into an argument and is quick to anger with little to no provocation. Save yourself the headache of dealing with these folks.

I had rented a car yesterday and today the warning light for low tire pressure for 1 tire appeared. I drove into G and C and despite nobody waiting for service, the front desk person told me there was only 1 man and he had no time to help me or he would get backed up in his work. I know that it’s takes less than 5 mins to do this task. As I turned to leave, another car pulled in and an elderly woman hobbled out of her car with a boot cast on her foot. She had the same issue, 1 tire needed air and she could not manage to do it. The man working there was so rude and told her in a not such a nice tone that he had no time to help her. I could not believe that someone could be so callous! I would never return to this business.

I was vacationing in Fort Myers Beach when the key fob of my rental car went missing at the Coconut Point Mall. Brian and Bobbie Jo arrived in a pounding thunderstorm, opened the car and towed it to Alamo at the airport and dropped it and me off. Brian and Bobbie Jo showed tremendous consideration, patience, professionalism and good humour throughout, for which Im very grateful.

Tow truck driver was very nice at scene of the accident, presumably called by Lee County sheriffs office. When I wanted the car dealer to pick up my car to have it repaired, the woman at G& C towing. On Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs Florida, I was told I had to come in and sign a release. I explained I did not have a car, she insisted and long story made short I signed a blank piece of paper… how unprofessional. The woman at G & C Towing was very unprofessional, definitely not customer service oriented.A few days later I had another opportunity to have my car towed back to the dealer, I did not use G & C Towing. I used Xtreme towing located on old 41 and Bonita Springs Florida, who gave me excellent service was a very nice driver. Totally pleasant experience. Shame on G & C Towing....

My newly restored 1969 Corvette experienced a fuel pump (new) failure on the side of I-75 between Bonita Springs and Naples. Called G&C towing and Steve was there in only 30 mins. Steve treated my Vette like it was one of his own. Very polite, professional and courteous. His tow vehicle was spotless even though it was over two years old. Arriving at my home, Steve unloaded the car then helped my push it up the driveway. Cost was very reasonable for the excellent service I received!

Very raciat horrible company, because I questioned his prices he got really rude and loud with me, mind you Im 9 months pregnant. Had to call the cops to get my vehicle. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY (WARNING) I was quoted 197.00 over the phone when the cops showed he decided to raise the amount yo 297.00 . He’s a very dishonest, disloyal businessman. My lawyer’s filing a complaint with the state and writing a letter to the police department, the cops had our car towed to this location. Keep reporting him if he does this to anyone else .

THEIR PRICING IS OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH. They charged me $885.23 for a REAR brake job, and a tow that was less than 4 miles. After asking for them to review the bill with me, and after questioning the bill (because obviously my brakes must of been made out of solid gold), the manager of the back area proceeded to start yelling at his front desk woman about there being absolutely no negotiatons on price, loud enough for me to hear in the next room. My family has been into automotives for generations and to know that I got charge almost triple what this job would normally cost, is very disappointing, especially coming from a place that was very well recommended by Lee County Sheriffs Office. If youre trying to build loyal clientel, you are doing it wrong. 15000000/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE.

They towed a car that I had traded in and was not the owner of or in possession of. Whoever owned it at the time did not pay for the towing as they should. This tow company came after me even though I was not the owner and had proof of this. In addition, they put a lien on my license plates so that I was not able to initially renew the plates on my current car. They were trying to get about $500 from me- so a substantial amount. When I went in to get a release - along with my sales paper showing that I clearly had traded the car in and was not in possession of it at the time they towed it - the woman at the desk would not even look at my papers. I explained to her that I did not own the car and they were going after the wrong person who had nothing to do with it. She would do nothing. She would not even look at my paperwork and said she had other things to do. I told her we could call the dealership and she said she was not going to talk to them. I told her I would and she could listen to them verify that I, in fact, had traded the car in since she would not look at my paperwork. She kicked me out of the office. I did eventually get the DMV to remove the lien so that I could legally renew my plates and I was able to obtain a copy of the law stating that my paperwork that I had taken in to the towing place was sufficient in order for the lien to be removed. The woman at the DMV stated that it clearly showed in their records that the car had been transferred from my name on the day I traded it and that she was not sure why the lien ever even would have been on there. I worry that this is happening to other people. It is too bad that whoever the new owner was had problems with the car and they should have paid the towing company - however, to have them not only come after me, but refuse to even look at my legal paperwork and then throw me out of the office is completely unacceptable. Based upon this, I would never call this company as I now feel they are not a company that can be depended on to act in a professional or reputable manner. There are lots of other tow companies in town.

Terrible, Dishonest. While deployed overseas my son had my car at college and broke a motor mount. They installed a used part that failed in less than a week. My son had to drive 8 hours round trip back to shop in order to get warranty work done. Warranty part looked like it was another used mount just spray painted black. It failed again in a week. I am home now and replaced it myself...it is definitely a used part, mount in sheared in two.
