There’s no other agency in the area I would even consider renting from!

Every person here was exceptionally kind and went out of their way to make the rental process a pleasure. They even shuttled me home after I dropped the car off.

I rented a standard full size SUV from the Enterprise located on Veterans Memorial Highway in Bohemia, NY. Upon arrival (7:30am) my rental was sanitized & already warmed up & defrosted. My online reservation allowed me to upload my license & payment info so all I had to do was show them my license & form of payment & I was on my way, however, I spied a luxury full size SUV in the lot & expressed interest in stepping up my standard rental. With a snap of a finger & for just $10 more it was mine! And definitely a more comfortable ride for our long trip. The staff is incredibly pleasant & accommodating. The office was clean & prepared for covid safety. Awesome rates! I highly recommend this location.

Never wrote a review like this before and I hope I never have to again.I was always a trusting person and did not read the documents at time of rental. Told the sales person multiple times while I was driving back from the body shop that I did not want the insurance. He than INSTRUCTED me where to sign and initial when I was completing the contract. Well I was duped and told to sign to accept the standard loss protection. Apparently bundling car rental with insurance is an acceptable practice here.BUYER BEWARE THEY WILL TRY TO TRICK YOU INTO PURCHASING STANDARD LOSS PROTECTION. EVEN WHEN YOU SPECIFICALLY DECLINE IT MULTIPLE TIMES

I ranted hundreds of time from Enterprise since 2001 and always had 5 star experience. Not this time....I call at 8:30 In the morning to check if in the current situation (COVID-19) they still provide pick up from home and was told: your rental is at 1PM, call us at 12:45 and we will send someone to pick you up - Never happen to me in any other branch. I asked my daughter to take me....Arrived to the branch at 12:55, the staff are very friendly and helpful, setting the contract took less than 3 min - Perfect!But, then...the car is not ready, they want to pick it up.Waited until 1:40 when the car arrived. The condition of the car was the worst I saw. It was pick up truck as I reserved, but it was full of debris in the bed of the car, asphalt and stones. Scratches and dents that I was asked to ignore as they minor. No gas what so ever in the car.Took the car and first thing had to fill up gas in order not to get stuck.Want home and inspect the car. All 4 tires are almost not safe to drive. Call back and asked to come in to check it.It was determined the 3 tires are at the min require for safety (I will assure you that if it was your car, you will change them immediately) and one tire need to be replaced.Had to wait another 90 min to get it fixed. Got the car back (tire was replaced, but the work was very sloppy - the front wall of the tire was put in the back :-) and the mechanic did not wear any musk or protection. I was then mad and disinfected the car (The team wanted to do it, but I was so mad that the safety of the customer and even the staff is not maintained. correctly).Sure enough, check engine turn on after few hundred miles, Viper fluid was out after 2 squeez....I must say that the staff is very friendly and helpful, but this did not help me to feel safe getting this car in this condition.Check out was perfect, checking the car, closing the contract was in timely manner.

Really nice people very accommodating especially due to covid. Pleasant experience all the way across the board. I even left something in the car they held it for me. Definitely well recommended I will be going there again soon.

My mom rented a car from here and it had cigarette burns all over the car, a cracked window, heavy smell of smoke throughout the car even when you opened the windows and when the a/c was turned on the car rattled horribly. and they tried to blame my mom when they gave her the car like that smfh. she won’t be coming back here to this location again

Dont have cars 40 a day or under. Dont pick you up. Try to up sell unnecessary insurance.

Horrible----rented an SUV--got a small car the size of a go cart that broke the first day----then was giving a car that stunk so bad of smoke I couldnt breathe--returned that for what was supposed to be an SUV and got all they had which was a mini van--during all this pandemonium of switching cars 3 times in less than 12 hours I forgot a small draw string back in back of the smoke saturated vehicle. Went back next morning and waited for them to open and was told car was already rented and they cleaned the car and didnt see my bag. This shows how little they clean their cars. I asked if they could call the new renter to check for my bag. I was told very rudely I would have to wait until she helped other customers first. Mind you I am frequent renter and just went thru what I did with them in past 12 hours. They made me wait 45 mins before another attendant came in. She called but couldnt get in touch with new renter. Took my number and said would call as soon as the new renter called back. 48 hours went by I got no call. Went back was told they would again call and email new renter. 48 hours go by---I get no call. I go to return mini-van and and said I never got a call about my bag---they said they never heard back from new renter and that the car had been returned. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE--WORST PEOPLE ---WILL NEVER RENY FROM ENTERPRISE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Only cuzs the car I was hoping for I couldnt taking a risk on it mainly with the checking engine light was on. So I had to get a small vehicle. Other then that all was wondering

The enterprise in bohemia has great staff. I was in a rental for an extended period. No issues with service or maintenance. I remained in constant contact with Julia to keep the bill squared away. Will repeat service. The vehicle was a brand new 2019 ram 1500 and was a dream rental car.

Big disappointment, traveled all the way from manhattan after speaking on the phone with rep & making a reservation already. She told me come in the next day just to pay total but when I get here, I didnt grab the front desk lady name, but she wasnt working with me at all. She didnt understand I came this far to be stranded. Simply because they didnt want to rent to me. I had a major Key bank debit card & no utility bill. Im only 22 what major utility Bills am I paying in my name. So they just had no reason to not override the small problem and allow me a vehicle to continue with covid business. Please dont rely on them if you are missing one item you may be left stranded.

I cannot say enough about the staff at the Bohemia location. Everyone was upbeat and energetic about the rental process and the vehicles available. I wish more service oriented businesses fostered this type of environment. Great vehicles, great employees, and great prices. My only complaint was the exterior and windshield needed cleaning but i am certain that they would have happily taken care of this if I went back before leaving town.

I had a little issue at the beginning with needing paperwork because I was going to be using a debit card for the hold. I was able to resolve it though and the rest of the process was extremely smooth. Everyone was really nice and I got into the rental quickly. Returning it was also a quick process and I got the deposit back in a day. If I ever need a rental car again, I will definitely be coming back to this Enterprise!

After 3 conversations w Enterprise, I took a cab to get my rental car. Once I got there they told me they need a utility bill to rent the car. I do not carry my bills w me. When I fussed at the three women there, one threw my license at me and told me they will not rent to me bc I got mad. They didnt try to help n cost me $25 for the cab there n $25 back to the hotel.All of them were horrible unprofessional people. Dont use this unsteady company.

From the employee who picked me up to the one who handled my transaction, everyone was great. Their level of customer service is outstanding and Enterprise should be proud of the individuals who work for them. I highly recommend the Bohemia location for all of your rental car needs. Excellent friendly service with an offer to drive me back to my car at the dealer. I am always happy with Enterprise, they never try to pull any fast ones and will politely ask about upgrades and coverage but if your not interested they do not hassle you.

I rented a 12 passenger for my sons FDNY graduation. First off the outside of it was filthy. We had no choice but to take it because it was the only one they had. As we headed to the ceremony (van full) from Holbrook to Brooklyn - stink bugs started coming out of rear door panel. Needless to say, every time we saw one we had to pull over (in traffic) to get rid of it because you can not kill them. Same experience coming home. I called to tell them we were returning the van 5 hours early because of what was happening. I was told the van would be inspected upon the return. The girl came out, looked at it and because SHE didnt see any bugs it was completely disregarded!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!

Friendly, very busy, did not offer a free upgrade when the class of car I requested was not available. However, they offered to split the upgrade price with them. It was $15 to upgrade and they offered me $7 per day. I was in a hurry and did not have time to argue my point. Although in my opinion the upgrade should have been free, to their credit, they do a great job there.

Very Pleased with the quality of their vehicle. The quality of the cars they rent short term and their overall attitude is very refreshing. They work to satisfy each customer- I am very pleased! VERY PLEASED- VERY SATISFIED!

Dean in Bohemia couldnt be more polite and helpful. Offered to pick me up at home. Upgraded me from a 2wd SUV to a 4wd SUV because were in the middle of and ice storm and roads are horrible. Very happy with Enterprise.

I called to check the status on the return of my deposit. I was told “hang on one minute while I check the status of your file”. 1/2 hour later someone picks up the phone, simply to ask “can I help you?” I pleaded with her to not put me on hold again as I had been on hold 1/2 hour already, to which she responded “I’ve only been working here 3 days”. Eventually the line disconnected.I called back and explained that I had been on hold a ridiculously long time and that they should call me back when they were available rather than wasting my time on hold. I gave them my number, and as expected they never bothered to call back.I am disputing my deposit with a credit card, because it is easier than having to deal with this horrible establishment. This is completely unacceptable customer service.TLDR: If you want to be treated like garbage, and waste your time getting your deposit back, rent a car here.

One of the worst car rental experiences in my entire life. I reserved a Nissan Armada and showed up at the arranged time. Upon arriving, The manager gave me a Mazda CX-3, which was not the car I reserved. They also was told that I couldnt drive the car, as I am 15. Now I have to call my dad to drive me home which is 40 minutes away. The worker was extremely helpful in trying to search for an alternative. I will not go back to this Enterprise ever again.

The Chevy Tahoe was very roomy and gave a solid ride. The cost of the trip was very reasonable. The only qualm was a message to Service 4WD, which caused me to switch the transmission from auto to 2WD for the whole trip. Luckily the weather was great and there was no need for 4 wheel drive. I give our experience 4.5 stars.

Renting the car was quick and easy

I had an accident November 30, 2017 and my insurance company instructed me to pick up a rental from Enterprise. I selected the Bohemia branch and my experience with them was nothing short of a disaster. I had an SUV that was involved in an accident and Julie told me to pick up a Toyota 4 Runner as that was compatible to the car that I had. I asked that my insurance company has only allocated a certain amount of money & would that cover the cost of this rental. I was told not to worry as they would subrogate the difference from the other vehicles insurance company and if there was any problem with the surogation I would be notified in a day and I could exchange the rental to something that fit within the allocated budget from the insurance company. Before signing on the contract I asked at least 3 times if there is any problem I will take the other rental and I was repeatedly assured that it will all be fine. I did not receive any call from Julie or any staff members about the car in a day and I thought everything was okay. I returned the rental after 30 days and to my surprise I was told that I would have to pay a difference of $768.00 on top of what my insurance company paid. I was flabbergasted and told Julie about our conversation before I signed the contract and she outright told me that she does not recall having any such conversation. My credit card was charged the $768.00 and now I have to fight with the other insurance company to get my money back. I feel that I was led into an upsell by the staff at the Bohemia location. I called the corporate office to complain and they noted down all the information and I was told that someone would get back to me to help me resolve this issue but as of today I have not heard from anyone from Corporate. I have heard great things about Enterprise and I know a lot of people have had positive experiences but this one definitely left a sour taste in my mouth with a loss of $768.00 which I hope that I can recover. Julie & the staff definitely lied to me and according to them they said that they did try to talk with someone from the other insurance company but to no avail. I will surely not go back to this location. Just upset over the whole thing

The Good: The employees were very courteous, nice and helpful!The Bad: The rental car (2015 Mustang Convertible) was disgusting, it hadnt been cleaned in a very very long time. It stunk like cigarette smoke and there was a very thick film on the inside of the windshield that was so bad it impaired my vision. Also I found a dirty old baseball cap in the convertible boot area. The New York State inspection was over due by 3 months! And the front right turn signal bulb was out. They must really neglect their cars to not notice the inspection was overdue by 3 months, thats just not acceptable. Luckily for me, an insurance company was paying the entire bill. So they tried to make it up by giving a one-day free rental which is nice but I dont plan to rent a car from then ever again.

Extremely friendly people would deff come back

The staff here is friendly and professional and the rental process was smooth and quick. When I returned my car near closing time, multiple staff members offered to drive me to my destination or to hang back until my ride showed up.

This was one of the worst rental experience I have had. It took three cars before they got me in one that was acceptable and let me explain. The first car was extremely dirty both insidea and out, drivers seat was covered something I could not identify. The second car had no gas and did not have a NYS inspection, I noted this not the staff of enterprise. My largest complaint is the hard sell and fear game played with taking extra insurance which I did not need. When I complained about the hard sell they offered to refund the fee but that still has not happened the rental was on 12/21 to 12/23/15. I would recommend what others have stated video tape the car walk around prior to raking car and point ever defect. I personally will not rent from enterprise in the future.

Had a great experience w/ Brooke and other staff at this location. Car picked us up on time and the car we received was fine other than the AC wasnt so good. Went back and told them the car wasnt cooling so well.......BOOM.....another car appeared IMMEDIATELY with perfect AC. S*** happens......I dont blame the staff for small glitches like that. Decent people, weird selection of cars.

On October 6th of this year; I was struck by a commercial truck backing up into my vehicle just outside my office in Bohemia, NY. I needed a rental car as a result of this accident. I contacted the Bohemia Enterprise location (closest one to my office) to alert them I was in need of a vehicle comparable to what I drove normally due to the line of business I am in as a professional. They had exactly what I needed; and I was happy that they accommodated my request to proceed with rental details & provide them with my information while still at the site of my accident as time was of the essence. When I finally arrived at the Bohemia location the employees were friendly, courteous and asked me if I was ok. They also had everything ready for me as per my request; and I was in & out of there in 10 minutes. The level of service I received from these following individuals; Adrian, Caitlyn &Amanda - was exceptional! I highly recommend this Enterprise location for your rental needs!Regards,Maria DeGennaro

We had to turn down the first car due to a mixed pair of radial tires. That should never been offered. However the second car performed well and the service at the start as well as the end was just fine.

Record the car you get. When I returned the loaner, enterprise said I got a dent on the back bumper. I showed them on my camera that it was there when I got the car. They couldnt see it on the camera, so I took the sales person out to the car. I pointed to the dent as I did on the recording.. Oh, now she sees it. I was told that dents are allowed if it is a certain size. When I told them that they said bumpers are different. . When you record the car point to EVERY dent and scratch.. and ask questions while recording. If I did not have this recorded I would be in court with them soon. I will be reporting them to the FTC. Enterprise tried this scam with my girlfriend and she had pictures to prove it .

Horrible customer service. My elderly relative rented a car here and they total took advantage of her. I called to complain and they stonewalled. Although my fight is not yet finished, please avoid this place like the plague.
