I have had the opportunity to use Ossies on several occasions with both of my cars. Ossie and his staff are professional and courteous. More importantly they give an honest assessment of your car and will not offer a service if they do not feel it is necessary. The work that they do perform is done correctly the first time. There have been no instances of a time when the costs rose astronomically as an add on. No work is ever done without a detailed report sent by email or text, with pictures included and all repairs are thoroughly explained. Great place rare to find honest mechanic

Ossies is great! My gfs family have been using them for a long time. Previously used them for oil change and tire replacement. This time had my brakes completely redone. Ossie is very detailed and informative in his estimates. Work is done in a timely matter. I will be using them again in the future.

Great local shop. They were able to take me as a walk-in to scan my check engine light and promptly informed me what the issue was. The quote for repairs was a lot higher than I was expecting, so I took the car to the dealer for a second opinion. The dealer surprisingly quoted me less, so I went with them. Ossie texted me later on to follow up, and after learning about the price difference, he offered to refund me the $150 diagnostics fee which I was very happy about! If I have any problems with my car in the future Ill probably go back to them since they were all great to work with and are very close to my job.

So it was a nice day, I decided to go home and review my options ( old truck, no payments) next day it was towed to Ossies. We all thought at the job it was the starter. Excellent and professional service! They give you a very detailed breakdown of problems and diagnostics and inform you of time and cost before completing work. They also provide helpful info about upcoming repairs but dont force you into having work done that is not yet necessary. They even send you a web link to a complete evaluation of your cars overall health broken down into multiple categories. So handy! I would highly recommend this place!

Mis diagnosed my car. Went in to get alternator checked and a sound coming from engine.. got a call back saying everything I asked was good but I should get tie rods fix .. me being dumb paid for the repair knowing I didn’t need it, then 2 days later after I got my car back my ac compressor broke, come to find out the noise from my engine was from the ac compressor which they said everything was good though. I wish I could get my money back from the service because I lost out on $300+tip and lost out on my car.

I do almost all my own auto repair, including multiple engine and transmission rebuilds, etc. But there is always the annual inspection to schedule. Being knowledgeable in automotive work, Ive almost always come away from auto shops feeling robbed and/or with the original problem still present. Ossies is different. I have always been able to verify the repairs they suggested were indeed needed. Theres never a hard sell. Scheduling is very flexible. Ive even given up the wrench on occasion due to being busy at work and let them do a few serious repairs. Price has been perfectly reasonable. Ive recommended this place to co-workers who also report a good experience.

Really good repair shop definitely run by professional. Went to get an oil change and was only there for about 30 mins which is incredible since Im use to waiting hours. Glad I was recommend to this shop because there work is top notch.

I get my inspection done with this same vendor . Later I went for repair for my sound problem and they quoted me $1200 for the fix, they mentioned that they have to change whole exaust.What the Hell? I went to other vendor the same issue I get it fixed for $250 and trust me everything working amazing.

Ossies Auto Repair is very friendly on the outside and extremely untrustworthy on the inside. Ossie saw my older car with Pennsylvania Plates and thought - money, money, money. I was on Long Island when my front axil cracked. About 45 days after the repair, I took my car for an annual PA Inspection. Ossies axil repair FAILED PA inspection miserably. Not only did they put the axil in incorrectly, they broke the ball joints. See photos for visual evidence. The car is now off the road. To properly fix Ossies repair, the ball joints and the axil (via the dealer), exceeds the value of the car. Ossies Auto Repair fulfills the stereotype of an untrusted buyer-beware garage shop.
