I did gel a few days ago with a butterfly design. My nails are gorgeous! They were done by Henry who was amazing and neat with his work. When my nail broke, I came back in and they fixed it for me with no charge.

I will never be going back to this nail salon the lady that owns it is so rude. She can’t even do a French tip and when you tell her that’s not the way you want it she gets with an attitude. So then I did a basic with powder white color got them done Tuesday. Within three days they turned basically dark brown which is disgusting come back for them to fix it they give me attitude accusing me that I died my hair which I didn’t.Their products are expired stay away because if the nail polish is turning color to a completely different color it’s because your product is expired. I will never go to the nail salon ever again it’s disgusting and it’s disgusting how they treat their paying customers do not come here!!!

My first visit and it the manicure and pedicure were like spa treatments! The nail polish is amazing. Then had my hair cut and styled by Regina. She was also amazing. Can’t wait to go back

Had a gift card and was really excited to treat myself to a mani/pedi, however they apparently have new owners and will not honor my gift card, though it clearly states the salons name. Just unprofessional in my opinion and I will not come back.

After being vaccinated, we (my mom and I) finally decided to go back to getting our nails done at Rio Nails. We had been going to Rio for years before Covid and even purchased gift cards in the beginning of the pandemic to help them out as so many people were urged to do since small businesses were struggling. Upon entering the place was clean and friendly. I had my pedicure -which was ok. The prep, cutting of nails and massage were good, the polish was a bit messy, but ok. My mom go a manicure and it was done very well. The reason for my 1 star is that upon checking out, they would not take my gift card. I had purchased over $200 in gift cards before Rio Nails was shut down for covid. They would not accept a single cent! I was and am completely appalled! I urge you to stay away from this unethical business. They are theives and do not deserve your business.

This place has it all! Massage, Next-gen, regular manicures and spa pedicure. Theres also hair stylists cut, color, blow dry - even keratin treatments. My non- negotiable is clean and this place has an autoclave and use liners in massage pedicure chairs. You can either make an appointment or just walk in. I had the spa pedicure and manicure. They have a huge selection of nail polish types regular, gel and nex-gen. Its loud. crazy busy and always something going on. The music is pumping and everyone is having fun. A great place to meet and get primped.

I went to Rio for my toes yesterday, I wanted polka dots on both of my big toes. The lady did not speak much English at all.😕 When I asked for polka dots she didn’t fully understand what I was talking about, so I showed her a picture of polka dots. I thought the polka dots she did on my toes looked sloppy and they weren’t spaced properly! I will not come back here!

Get my nail done here. Yayou did it for me. She did a good job and is very friendly too and I love it 😘😘. Have nice nail for christmas now 🥰🥰

Nice and clean

Heard that this place was under new management from quite a few customers, so I took a group of my artist in to get pampered. I was kinda skeptical at first because of previous reviews but man was I wrong! This place rocked! My group was greeted by the manager and front desk staff and given superb treatment. The manicures and pedicures were outstanding! The girls loved that it was a one stop shop and the fellas enjoyed being pampered. My hat is off to the entire staff. Thank you to management for such wonderful service. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Best gel manicure and pedicure in Boca!

I made an appointment for a pedicure and a gel manicure on their online reservation system. I got a great pedicure with Rodney but when it was time for my french gel manicure, I heard nothing but complaining from the back, while I sat there waiting and waiting. Finally, I got up and paid for my pedicure and left. Not the 1st time, I have heard complaining from the staff here when it is closing time but do not make appointments if you cannot honor them, the ironic part was their reservation software was making appointments for even later than the time this occured. The complaining from their employee was too much and the manager on duty, did not even apologize. Their management is poor

Felicia is unprofessional as a manger, Call yesterday and ask for Michelle who do all my nails care for an appointment at 11am, the girl who run the recipient desk check and said ok that Michelle have an available at 11am. I walk in today and the girl aka the girl who work the recipient desk and also do nails who is Feliciatold me that Michelle is not here and that she going to be 35-40 minutes late! Why not call your customers first to see if they can reschedule or come another day. She don’t even bother to call you if you going to shop at the Ross near by or come back for your appointment unprofessional AF Felicia! I would give Michelle another chance but seriously Felicia need to act better as a manager

Rio Nails is an experience like no other. Best prices in town!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND setting up an appointment with either Karla or Stephanie at the salon. Next day after gel manicure they started popping off went the day after and they fix the one nail that have fallen to my surprise the rest will just pop off within 2-3 days not enough people and then they just rush thru for what to loose clients this is not the first time I do gel it usually las 3 weeks not 3 days and I have do it at these place before by some one this time the owner told me only she does gel not true and horrible

I always get my gel manicure and regular pedicure here! I love it! Duke does an amazing job and I always leave feeling clean and happy about my nails. And they last a long time! Definitely recommend this to everyone.

Gave them another shot when I head management changed. It took over 3 hours to get a manicure and pedicure with an appointment. I got a SNS/Nexgen powder manicure and the top clear coat began cracking in under a week. Management is not very friendly and unapproachable when asking questions. Too many nail salons in Boca to waste my time going back.

Really just not good. Dug into my cuticles too hard to make me bleed, barely shaped my nails, was heavy on the nail polish and applied the top coat so unevenly. I could’ve done my nails better. Do not go.

Stephanie is the reason and only reason I go to Rio Nails. She gives the best spa pedicure. She is very professional, takes her time and gives the best massage. Rio is very fortunate to have Stephanie and her daughter Karla.

I have gone to this place for quite a while. I try my best to give places a chance.1st, I never got a chance to pay the price thats advertised outside the shop.( I use Acrylic ).$ 60 bucks was what it cost me every time.I have taken all of my nails off because EVERY time I got them done, inevitably that @ least 2 or more nails popped off.

One star is too much for this salon . Very bad experience . I have been here before always charged 25 for a blow dry with numerous different people today yet again a new stylist kit who by the way can’t speak very much English at all so that’s already an issue . When came to pay he said his prices differ from others and he was charging me more .I took this up with reception who confirmed this salon is now under new management and every stylist has their own price which is not advertised anywhere so I find this very misleading . No manager present to help or clarify and left me miserable dissatisfied and somewhat misinformed . Was considering becoming a vip member and coming twice a week but not a chance now . When I questioned the receptionist what each stylist charged then for a blow dry just a blank stare and I don’t know well If she does ever know how am I to know . Furthermore very rude wash lady there who when taken to get hair washed abruptly told the stylist she can’t wash my hair she’s as she’s busy . How rude and made me feel very unwelcome .STAY AWAY from this salon it’s a shambles in my opinion. Oh in big writing advertised each customer thaty gives a good review to get an instant 10 percent off so I wouldent believe any recent reviews either save yourself money and time.

I came in here the other day to get acrylics around 6:15 thinking there wouldnt be a problem since their hours say they close at 8:00. It was horrible. She didnt bother to trim my nails or to even completely remove the nail polish I had prior... The finished product shows the black nail polish residue. She was also very rough and managed to break the skin around my nails. On one of my ring nails she didnt press down the tip well enough and she just left it raised. I know she noticed because she tried to put more glue but when it didnt work she just moved on.Toward the end when she painted my nails she didnt cover the nails completely and managed to get black fibers on two of nails... So it got to be 7:20 and she rushed me to dry my nails and as soon as I sat down she grabbed her stuff and left. Ten minutes later the other one that stayed finally told me your nails are dry. And basically escorted me to leave. She then grabbed her sign and locked the doors and left. Bad just bad.

I walked in for a basic manicure and was taken right away by Yolanda. I cannot say enough about the beautiful job she did on my nails. Ive had other maincures at double the price that were awful. The place was clean and nicely decorated. I would have given 5 stars but Ill reserve that for when get a pedi. Cant wait.

I do not like rio nails because I went there last week and got my nails done long coffin shape and it was great until 3 days later is where my nails started breaking and the on the 6th day 5/10 of my nails fell off so I went over there to tell them and they said it’s bc my nails were to short and I am to energetic and that I don’t know how to take care of my nails but I went to Walmart and got my nails done there and the same shape and I kept them for a long time so yea I will never go there again😒😒

The worst place!!!!!! I just moved here and was recommended by a friend. I have been having my nails done for many years and never have I had such a worst experience. First, I called to see what their prices were for a fill in. I was told $15 to $20. I got my nails done and he charges me $25. I questioned him and told him that I was told on the phone between 15 and $20 and he told me its because my nails are long and my nails are not long!!!!! They are thin, uneven, the clear gel coating not evenly put on, has air pockets, black specs underneath. I asked him not to go to the cuticle and he did. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! THIS PLACE MAY LOOK NICE BUT THEY SUCK!!!!

My nail tech Rachel was extremely rude. She also refused to do my cuticles and made all my acrylic nails not only crooked, but also wide like duck feet and didn’t paint the acrylic nail entirely. I got a pedicure with her too and she even filed my nails crooked... how bad can you be to file toenails wrong? Never had such a bad experience, never coming back here. The entire time all Rachel did was talk bad about other employees and clients to the receptionist.

I never write bad reviews- but this place is the worst. I have been there twice with no incident, but this last time will be my last. Rachel convinced me to get the Chrome (I usually get gel). After day one the polish is peeling off on both hands in multiple places. I went back when they opened and was told that Rachel wont get in until 3:30, and everyone else who was just sitting there did not know how to remove gel/chrome. What?!? I work and dont have time to go back there another time. I refuse to walk around with my nails looking hideous. They had a new customer but now I will never go again or recommend this place to anyone.

My first couple times here were very nice. i got my eyebrows done and they did a good job. And so i came back and asked them to do my eyebrows again and they were like come back at 4 It was 1:40. i told the lady that and she said were busy now. 3pm then Um no youre supposed to help a customer so they will come back again. I received a gift card to this place for my birthday, and decided to use it before New Years. I walk into a cluttered, hectic, and ugly salon. I am taken back to get a pedicure and the nail technician is extremely rude. The towel he was using under my feet had red nail clippings on it, and I had Grey polish on my toes. My big toes were cut crooked, but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t realize until I sat down for my manicure. He had me pay for my services before I began the manicure, but wouldn’t except the gift card my friend gave me, even though the receipt was in the envelope. It was a horrible manicure, he shaped my nails horribly and filed them down in a way that my nails were sharp and I actually cut myself afterward and refilled my nails myself. I am not one to complain but I would have never went to that salon if I didn’t have a gift card, WHICH I COULDNT EVEN USE. The salon was dirty, ugly, filled with stuff, and everyone who worked there was rude and could care less about their customers. Everything was Low end and trashy, and I was extremely disappointed in the services I received. When I went to dry my nails it was just a fan clipped to the wall above my nails. I accidentally chipped one of my nails and the technician refused to fix my nail AFTER I PAID AND TIPED HIM (against my better judgment). DO NOT GO HERE, STAY AWAY!!!

Since I did this review a month ago a Ive gotten NO feedback or any apology at all from the saloon I ll NOT RECOMMEND IT AGAIN. Ive been doing the Brazilian Keratin for over 15 years and I have never had such a bad treatment like I had in this saloon. The technique they use its very low quality . The lady ( Regina) it was such in a hurry and did not divide my hair well and I was wondering if the rush would work well in my hair and I was right. I took extra care to prevent any mark and ater 3 days I washed my hair and the results were bad. My new baby hair its still curly and the volume and frizz remains. I paid 85,00 for that and honestly Im really disappointed. I just wasted my money and my time . Im Brazilian and Ive done this sever times with different people and I never had such a bad service. Regina its a nice person but as a keratin professional she is way behind it. Very dissapointed

This is the worst manicure and pedicure of my entire life!!!!!! He was very rude, he didnt paint my nails completely, he left paint outside my nails and its pilled after the first 2 minutes.....oh not to mention it took him almost 2 hours....the least they could have done is give me my money back...but instead they were mean and rude.... Im never again coming back...literally this is the WORST PLACE

Initially happy with tech and nails but 2 days later, a nail broke. I stopped in at 6:15 (close at 8) and asked for a repair. I was denied service even though there were 3 nail techs in sight...one doing nothing! I stupidly came back 2 days later with yet another broken nail, this time earlier, 5:30 PM and was told no one was available all night to do a repair.Do NOT waste your time. Rude and unacceptable service. Many, many nail salons in South Florida. Find one that appreciates their customers.

1st time here and I chose it on a whim. I always go to Cute q nails in lantana, but my girl T was on vacation and I was desperate. My gym is near so I found rio nails open on a Sunday. I went in for a pedicure and Ricardo did my pedicure. What a horrible job! All he did was remove old polish, trim and file the toe nails. He applied new polish with a horrible paint job. I do not recommend going here for a pedicure not even worth the 18.00!

Staff is very rude. Nails chipped the next day. Two people were there the same day I was to complain and they had an argument with the ladies at the front. While I was getting my nails done the lady doing them left twice to do something, left me waiting for 10 minutes. The same thing happened to my mom. I bumped two nails on something and the lady went ballistic she basically yelled at me, while she did my feet I put my feet in the basin thing before she told me to do and was very rude and said something in their language to the guy next to her. Seriously awful place. 10/10 DONT recommend. Do yourself a favor and dont go there. Theres plenty nail places in Boca to go to.

The staff her were so nasty! I went in there on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing and they refused to see me. I wouldnt recommend this place. The staff hate working there and they are cold as ice! I would go anywhere before going here. Learn to treat pple kindly and then you can open a salon!

Ill never spend another dime in this salon NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!! Especially the one who did my half ass pedicure. She didn’t open her mouth she was signaling me like I was a damn animal. I’ll never ever go back... I would add her name, she doesn’t even deserve that much attention. #livid

They tempt you with a big sign, showing a very reasonable price for a blow-dry. You call and you ask if the price is good for long hair, the answer is: it is a uniform price for any kind of hair. But when you gothere, the haggling begins. And if you insist to pay as advertised, the retaliation becomes overwhelming. Your hair is washed without rinsing. The blow-drying involves a few burns on your scalp,however, the roots stay wrinkly. The job gets done ASAP. And you are expected to leave right away.You cant object or comment, otherwise you get sneered at and humiliated. And if you complain to the owners, they totally ignore you.
