I got a fill here and all of my nails started lifting a few days later. The tech cut me during the service, but that happens and wasnt a huge deal. However another finger got infected and is extremely swollen and painful

My Personal Experience: This medium sized nail salon is located in the beautiful downtown of Boca Raton. It is right off the main street in downtown located adjacent to apartments, restaurants, and main venues. Not only is it a nail salon but a one stop shop for eye lashes, eyebrows, nails, and facials.As you enter into the salon, it has a nice clear white modern decor that gives you a sense of elegance and great vibes. You feel amazing walking in and know that you are about to get top quality service and pampered. They have the regular chairs and tables as well as the amazing massage chairs to relax and unwind. The owner Ms. Penny is so nice and welcoming you feel relaxed as soon as your there.I love coming here to get my nails done. I always get a manicure and pedicure and two of my pinky nails on my hands gel nails and with nail art on them. I have to tell you that quality and professionalism is seen here! My nail always come out fresh, on point, and even people ask me where did I do them as they always get attention when I am out and about. I feel great with the amazing service that is offered here. The staff and owner is always willing to work with you, accommodate you, and make you happy. They also have a restroom in the back and FREE parking in the garage behind the salon which is a plus! If you are looking for a one stop shop for nails, eyelashes, eyebrows, and facials you need to know that Nail Ocean Spa is the place to be! I hope this helps anyone in the area!

I’m not one to go off and write a review on a business but HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! 2/10. Took an hour and a half for a gel fill (which usually takes about 45 at a normal place).I did not ask for a design or anything just plain white nails. With in 24 hours one nail started to fall off. I went to get it fixed... within the SAME DAY the nail broke AGAIN. Within 2 days from my first appointment yet another nail fell off. Prior to coming to this salon all ten nails stayed on for 3 whole weeks with no issues. I am beyond disappointed that I paid $55 for nails that would so easily rip off in a day. If you are looking for a gel fill save yourself the money and DO NOT come here.

So I got a full set and pedicure with gel. The man who did my pedicure was amazing the paint still looks fresh on my toes. My nails however are awful. Within 3 days of getting them done the paint started to chip and I went back and they painted them over for free which I appreciated but the same thing happed again AND one nail just popped right off. Not happy won’t recommend. Also my total was $88. Money WASTED

My sister and her best friend went for a pedicure and manicure and they were the worst!!! They were unprofessional and my sisters best friend had an incident with the lady. She “accidentally did a small cut on her toe” and my sister ves friend jumped and said ow. The manager just mocked her and the other girl Laughed. They were also criticizing them the whole time never go here !

Decided to try Ocean Nails Spa to get my nails done. Glad I did. Johnny did a fantastic job.He was so nice and very friendly. If you are looking for a great place to go either for nails or a pedicure that’s relaxing with experienced people then Ocean Nails Spa is the place for you. Make sure you ask for Johnny.

Cheap nail polish and price to high for rushed service.

When booking an appointment and receiving a time ask them to be honest unless you’ll be just like me with your feet soaking in water pretty much prune for 40 minutes while continuously being told 5 minutes. NEVER AGAIN WILL I WASTE MY TIME. Ocean nails is the correct name according to my soaking feet

The ONLY reason Im giving this salon AT MOST 2 stars is because Penny is a very talented nail technician and I wont take that away from her. But if you want to sit around in a salon for 3 hours waiting to be seen EVEN IF you have an appointment this is the perfect place for you!Ive been here a couple of times and this always happened but yesterday was the final straw. I had an appointment scheduled for 5:30 and I arrived on time. My nails werent soaking until 6 and I wasnt seen until 7 because she was doing two other peoples nails. Mind you the SALON CLOSES AT 7. So Penny took her precious time on everyone else and I was rushed because she wanted to go home. Extremely poor customer service, I had to pay for parking and keep going out to add more money to the meter. Ocean nails needs to learn what APPOINTMENTS mean and how to book and time correctly. Will never spend my hard earned money here again.

Best nail salon in Boca. Super friendly, they have all the latest trends. I received so many compliments on my nails on a regular basis - thats how exceptional. They also do amazing lashes and microblading of brows. Ive done both and LOVE my results.

I was really disappointed!! I got a gel manicure and polish change on my toes. Less than 2 days after, 2 of my gel nails had fell right off. I called them to get a refund because I live far. They said no they would redo them. So I was able to get back up there a couple days later and by that time several more had completely lifted and my toes had began to chip!! Ive never in my life had my toes chip before 2 weeks after the polish was applied. Anyway, instead of removing the whole manicure and redoing it they pulled the lifted nails off only (didnt soak them off because they were just falling right off), and only repainted the ones that were lifted. So, I tipped again because it was a different girl. I wake up the next morning and 3 of the ones she left alone had completely lifted off. In less than a week from the original manicure date I had 2 nails left and some chipped up toe nails!!

This place so nice, services done right, friendly and no rush.

I Used a gift card given to me and i was treated with the same respect as a paying customer. I went and had a medi pedi done and the service was amazing. It’s been 3 weeks and my toes still look great.

I had an appointment at 10:30 and didn’t leave until 1:00! All I got was a nexgen set with no designs. Sat there for over an hour with nail polish remover on my fingers, while the tech who was doing my nails went to work on another client who already had someone else doing her nails. No one spoke to me and they acted like I wasn’t there throughout the 3 hours I was in the salon. After waiting forever, younger girl sat down to do my nails. I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and I highly doubt I’ll ever go back. Terrible service!

My wife went to Micheal he actually takes his time and does it right and Im just watching. Quality over quantity

Not the best place for lashes. Got nails done a few times and they were well but bad experience for lashes. You hear everything in that room, not comfortable & when I went home I realized the lashes were incorrectly glued to my actual eye lid not my individual lash line, they’re crooked and left bald spots...

Booked a 4:00 manicure after waiting 45 minutes decided to just leave.

I called and asked if they had the brand SNS for dip, and the lovely receptionist told me that they did and to come on by.When I arrived I was sat down, and the nail tech just sat down and started to file my nails with the drill.She hurt me so much I yelled OUCH! Of course I got no reaction from her.I told her I needed my nails really short, and she didn’t care at all. I had to tell her more than 3 times to shorten them.When she started the dipping process, she used the Nexgen glue and activator. That annoyed me so much, because I specifically asked for the SNS. (I did get the SNS dip, but I didn’t want it to be mixed with the other brand.)Of course they told me it doesn’t matter, that it’s all the same thing, but I was very specific about not wanting that, and no one seemed to care.I kept telling her I wanted my cuticles cleaned and by that time she was more annoyed with me than I was with her. So, another tech came in, and finished the job. She still didn’t clean my cuticles and was going to put my hand in the UV light. The whole reason why i get dip is not to use that light!!!! So that’s when I told her, “no; I’m not putting my hand under there!”She put on a clear coat and told me I was finished. My nails looked horrible!!! They looked like when you’ve had your dip on your nails for 2 weeks! The cuticles were sticking out! So sloppy and ugly!! Not to mention that they hurt me so much, that 2 days later and my nails STILL hurt from being filed down so hard!So the manager or owner had to practically redo my nails. By that time I was frustrated, and in pain. She tells me, next time you come make an appointment with me or with the other girl. (She points to another tech). She tells me, she’s really good too.Seriously?!? Then why give me a bad nail tech if they know they don’t know how to do the job?!Another detail, she said some things to the receptionist in front of everyone that I didn’t think was appropriate. She told her very loudly, I always have to triple check your work!! I felt so embarrassed for the girl!!When I went to pay, the tech was standing near by waiting for me to hand her a tip. I am a huge believer in giving tips, but there was no way I was going to give her a tip for a terrible job!I was so happy to have finally found a nail salon that used that specific brand. If they would’ve done a good job, they would’ve had a customer for life. But, they lost one. Might not make a big difference to them, but oh well.

The guy that works there is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. My friend likes her nails long and they all kept looking at her weird and talking about how long her nails were asking if she was sure she wanted them that long. They get mad when you tell them what YOU want. Their customer service is disgusting.

Worst Place EVERRRR !! never come here. Horrible customer service the guy told my friend to leave because he didn’t have enough time to do her nails and her nail broke the next day after she got it done. They are so rude to there customers

We made an appointment for 2:00. My friend and I waited in the chairs as my younger sister had to wait 20 minutes to get her nails done. A guy there turned on the water for me, and left for another thirty minutes. (The hot water got cold.) By the time he returned, my friend already finished her nails with a horrible design. My sister got hers done in the meantime too. Durning my wait, a walk-in client asked if she could get a mani and pedi. He asked if she could wait and she said no. So he left me, treating the walk-in as if my appointment meant nothing. It took them fourty minutes to simply paint my nails. One coat, no design. As the man was painting my toes, he was scrolling and texting on his phone the whole time (he placed his phone beside my foot). The same thing happened with my nails. Trust the bad reviews and take my advice. You can skip this place. Here’s a small side story. Another client walked in, asking how long is the wait. They responded, “Pick a color.” Another ten minutes passed and the woman apologized, saying she couldn’t stay and left the spa. The man who was painting my toes literally got up and chased her, saying he would do her now. Long story... well, long, she couldn’t stay. First and last time I’ll be visiting this spa.

Love this place, I never make an appointment but they always get me right in and do a great job. I like their sense of urgency and team work to be sure everyone is happy. Doesnt matter who does my manis / Pedis or eybrows I am always happy! super affordable as well!
