Ive been to Aces barber shop a few times since Ive moved here about a year and a half ago, and tried a half a dozen other places trying to find the right barber add the pandemic to that and its been a bit of a challenge.I decided to revisit Aces since cutting my own hair and trimming the beard had me looking weird, think cave man on meth🤯 weird.I got Evan as my barber, and Im glad I did hes a talented barber and a bright well spoken young man, Im a detail oriented type of guy so I can appreciate that Evan takes the time to attend to the small details, like getting the stay nose and ear hair as well as making sure all your lines are on point.I highly recommend Evan for all your grooming needs, youll walk out fresh and clean, and your significant other will appreciate this, so thanks Evan and the crew at Aces barber co for a easy and pleasant experience and for transforming me from a caveman back into a human being. 😁

George is the best great atmosphere reasonably priced really good-looking shop and they actually take appointments a lot of barber shops arent doing that anymore and you end up waiting hours at the barber its a great place to go

Delayed review but after my last exp at another barbershop I needed to write it. Staff is BEYOND friendly and super organized! I came in a couple months back due to my normal barbers schedule and quite frankly I’ll be coming in going forward (including today 😂)

I was on vacation and needed a haircut. I walked in and there was no line and they immediately directed all their attention to the customer (me). I got my cut from George and he was perfect. He made sure that every element of my head was to my likeing and before he cut anything he confirmed. The vibe in the shop is a layer back calm vibe. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Just had my hair cut here with Christian. I called and was able to get an appointment easily. I had been growing my hair out and decided to go with a trendy new European style cut. Its hard to find places that stay on trend. Christian did a fantastic job. I am so happy with the my cut and will be coming back to see him. The shop is super clean and has a really good vibe. I would highly recommend.

We took our one year old to get his hair cut with Shawnna at first he was hysterical and the receptionist gave him a lollipop to help calm him down which helped tremendously. Shawnna was so patient and good with him he stayed still the entire time. She did such an amazing job I will definitely be coming back. The shop is super clean and everybody is very nice and welcoming.

Amazing haircut and hot shave! Highly recommend Bella, she really knows what shes doing! My only complaint/suggestion is that you guys NEED NEW TOWELS! Every single towel they used on me (about 4) was old, worn out, riddled with holes, and smelled like feet!! Pretty gross when those are going on your face. All towel-related issues aside, it was great!

Rich did a perfect crop on my kindergartener! Exactly what I asked for, perfectly carried out, clean lines, blended perfectly. My kiddo caught every mirror from Publix to Chuck e Cheese and every grandparents compliments on the way! Hes looking forward to having the best cut in school.... we will be back!

Cool shop good people. But the quality in my cut is trash for 30 dollars they charge. Not the best. And I was rushed through my cut. Step it up for 30 dollars they need to take their time and pay attention to detail. Not pleased. Will not go back.

Im from out of town, but this was the best haircut I have ever gotten. Seriously.

Asked for a specific cut, gave them a pic, girl working said itd be fine. At the end looks like a mop instead of the shorter cut, literally could not have been further from what I wanted. When I politely pointed this out, she said it wasnt styled yet, said she would do so. After barely trying she gave up and sent me out. Didnt even ask if I wanted something else. Still tipped, since I always do, but I will /never/ return and highly suggest you keep looking if you want a remotely good cut.

Guy didnt even out any effort into cutting my hair and he looked like he didnt even work there. He looked like he wanted to quit the job. And when I asked for a specific hair cut he had no idea how to do it. How are you gonna be a barber and not know how to cut a specific haircut. I thought they should of known the styles of hair. Last barber I went to I asked for the same specific haircut, he knew exactly what u was talking about. I had to go to this barber shop because I didnt make an appointment for the other ones and the other better places were booked. I showed the guy the picture of the haircut multiple times and asked if he needed to see it for a reference but he said he got it and completely messed up my hair. Place is just like supercuts. Old people and little kids.

About 3 times asked for something and got a completely different haircut. Asked for a mid skin fade got a flat 2 on the sides, said take a inch off the top took of about 2. Bad cutters.

I used to go to mojos in mission bay for the longest time but the guys over there seem too comfortable with their jobs and dont do the best work they could. I love aces its always clean and every Barber is equally as talented

1 star so I can rate. The owner is probably the rudest most unprofessional business owner I’ve met. I followed his crew from “Mojo’s” out of loyalty & brought him new customers, yet he literally treated me as if he was doing me a favor by taking me in. Very nasty attitude. Cash only business or use his atm. He lost loyal customers from me and embarrassed me after recommending others there & treating them nasty. The cuts are inconsistent & depend on the mood of the barber& if they’re more interested in your hair or their conversations amongst themselves

Took my son there looking for a cut that hes been wanting. Been to others in town but they also seem to mess his hair up! First time at Aces we walked out with a perfect cut!!👍👍Get job ... Very nice atmosphere ! Friendly!!

They are legit! Get my hair washed after each cut. Good location and clean. They got sofas with XBOX and big screens to keep the kiddos entertained. Highly recommended, if you didnt know, now you know.

Nice shop. When Mojos closed, Aces got all of their barbers. I would reccomend Gianni or Morgan. I used Aj for my last cut. The cut was okay, but lacked the overall attention to detail that you get from Morgan or Gianni.

When I walked in, only one guy was cutting someones hair, got ignored for 15 minutes before another lady, comming from a back room told me That I have to wait for Jay.Long story short told, Jay didnt show up until 10:00 and I walked out.The other barber was sitting there, talking about how he cant take other barbers customers.
