WORST company I’ve ever dealt with in my life... giving one star is way too generous, should be in the negatives. I was sold a unit in January 2021 that was too small for my business in Delray Beach, the install manager assured me that it would be sufficient stating that he’s been in this business for years. Once the summer weather came around the AC was not cooling, keeping the building around 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit. I called the company to let them know, they sent technicians out to tell me the unit seems fine. Sure enough the next day it remained at the same temperature 80-85 degrees. Finally after a whole month of calling I was able to get an install manager to come out and check out the unit, he agreed that the unit was way too small for the building and that he would work on a solution. I called him everyday for a whole week and got no response from him until finally someone picked up and told me he was let go from the company. So again I reach out to Aspen Air’s direct line talking to customer support to try to get in contact with higher management, I expressed my frustrations and told them that they have shut my business down for over a whole month and that I need answers ASAP.... they assured me someone would reach out, but sure enough NO ONE AT ALL CALLS ME BACK. This is absolutely absurd what this company is doing me, they are putting my business underground and I have no income at all coming in.... while still paying monthly on a unit that does not work. These people are very unprofessional and that is not how you operate a business, you people should be a ashamed of yourselves. STAY AWAY FROM ASPEN AIR! If I do not receive any contact from you guys I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if nothing is resolved after that I will take further action from there.

Everything was great until the new unit that is 6 months old broke three times. I get it I am in the collision repair business. This time around our AC breaks on Fri evening tech comes out and is out from 11pm-1am. He then says I cant fix and leaves. Call again Saturday morning and they have no record of that visit. New tech comes out on Saturday and says we need to order a part. Now Tuesday comes around and part did not fix it. Keep in mind we are going on day 6 with no communication Aspen only has a call center and I have a wife that is being released from the hospital coming home to a house with no AC. Ive spent $1000 on portable AC units. This is absolutely ridiculous

Terrible Non-Service since Installation. They scheduled repair service for a 5pm to 7pm window on Friday, August, 20, 2021. It took 3 calls to be told they had to reschedule for Saturday between 10am and 1pm. Then they called again on Saturday to reschedule for 3pm to 5pm. Needless to say we cancelled the appointment. They only care about not Non-Warranty service calls so they can make money. Warranty service is not important to this company. Save Yourself and go with a different company that actually has a better rating. We bought our unit through Costco via their Lennox program and the unit is great. But try to get warranty service from Aspen Air and you will be angry dealing with their incompetent scheduling.

First scheduled appointment was a no call no show, sat at home waiting for the tech all day. Next day technician stated system running fine, coils slightly dirty but did not recommend immediate cleaning for $800. Charged $121 for diagnostics, what they advertise on their site is $59. 2 weeks later AC unit is not cooling again. Tried to call 4 times to understand why I was charged 2x what was advertised and told each time that accounting department would call...never received a call. Was also told that the cost of the diagnostic would be applied to any service but when I called to schedule the cleaning no one seemed to know about this, and again was told accounting would call to discuss, but I have still not received a call.

Worse experience ever !! I did buy an AC unit in February 2020. I got it through Costco thinking it was a responsible company since Costco allows them to sale through them. The installation was done so badly that Coconut Creek city inspector didnt close the permit and fined them. Almost a year and a half after beginning the unit installation and Im still calling to find out when are they coming to finish their job !! They couldnt be more unreliable because its impossible. The icing of the cake happened today when I had to call again just to see if finally after begging for more than a year they can repair the damage done when they didnt install the unit the way its expected . They told me i have to pay $100 for them to come to inspect. Thats a robbery . Having the guts to charge for problems you dont expect to face when buying brand new top of the line unit just because the company doesnt know how to install it !!

Aspen is the absolute worst there is. They came to my house 2 months ago and told me that they needed to order parts. I’ve called 6 times to follow up and customer service just takes my name and number and tells me someone will get back to me. Needless to say, no one from Aspen has called me back. I’ve seen so many negative reviews of Aspen on Google and Aspen responds to them asking the customer to call Jenny the Quality Assurance Manager. I called her this Friday and no call back. Its really so unprofessional and disappointing.UPDATE - I got a call back from the Quality Assurance manager the next business day (a Monday) and she assured me that she would find out what was going on and get back to me later that day. Four business days have gone by and still no call back. I really dont recommend Aspen Air. Good luck to anyone that uses them.

Arrived on time with a smile on his face. Started working immediately and continued at a brisk pace until all three AC units were inspected and one needing a replacement part was repaired. Helped reset the settings tracing me how to run the settings. Great service with fair prices and professional interaction.

They had a promotion at Home Depot for 19.99 they would service your air conditioner and at the same time give you a Google home unit so we had them come to do the maintenance and they actually installed a UV light and promised to send out a Google home and this was in February I am still waiting I have called numerous times with no response from anybody no callbacks no nothing very disappointed with the customer service in this company.This is an update to my complaint about Aspen. Jenny from quality control called the next day and was extremely nice and understanding. She assured me that I was correct and that she would have one delivered the next day. True to her word we did receive it the next day. Thank you Jenny for your help.

I generally try to avoid leaving any negative reviews on google, but hopefully this will get someones attention. Aspen installed my A/C in 2019, and by all accounts, everything went well with the installation and I have had no issues with the unit.Unfortunately, the permit that was opened as part of the installation charge was never closed out and has expired and Aspen has not responded after numerous calls to their main number and numerous messages.I paid for an all inclusive service for installation, permits, etc., but after nearly 2 years the permit is still unresolved.Hopefully, someone will read this and finally do something about it.

Omar is excellent! Ive been a customer of aspen for many years recently I’ve had two techs from aspen come out to diagnose my air conditioner. They made me purchase parts I didn’t need, finally Omar came out and showed me step by step what it is I needed. He explained everything very thoroughly, was patient and addressed all my questions. He restored my faith in aspen again will only be requesting him from now on.

Very disappointed with this company now. They installed my AC last year and did a passable job, meaning the AC works. The inspector came out and pointed out numerous gaps in the system. To be fair Aspen came out and fixed that and redid inspection at no cost. 3 months later the unit is leaking in my garage. Turns out they never cleaned out the AC drain pipe like they were supposed to during install. Took numerous visits to fix. I decided to give them another chance and ordered a maintenance contract to clean out the pipes, pans and keep the system in good working order. They never showed up for the 1st appointment, rescheduled for today and AGAIN they didnt show up or call. When I called to cancel the appointment and my contract they stated they didnt see a contract. AC companies are a dime a dozen in S. Florida and we have our choice of providers. Looks like its time to find a new one. Shame too as it USED to be a really good company and a institution in Boca.

They are very punctual and very professional company. They walk you through each step. I dont know if it is a industry norm for 1 capacitor to change out and 5 min worth of work literally was $275. I felt like I was ripped off for that easy repair. Tech arrived and was done within 5 minutes then sat in the truck for 30 min. I dont know if thats to justify the repair cost. Unfortunately I will shop around better next time.

The A/C technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained clearly everything he was doing and took photos of the roof A/C unit to show me . There was no “bait and switch” and no pressure to purchase more than the special I signed up for. I will certainly call them when the A/C needs replacement.

Horrible company. Paid $7471.00 in May of 2020 for new AC. Tried to get a service appt, finally got one for 06/01/2021. No show no call, after many attempts person who answered phone said they got backed up on the weekend, was also told by dispatcher Mandel, other customers were given priority. Rescheduled to 06/17/2021, promised that this was a definite appt. Once again no show no call. Tried to contact them, reached and service. No one returned call. They take your money and do not follow up. If you want to be treated poorly use this company.********06/18/2021 Update to my review of 06/17/21. The company has reached out to me. They listened and were proactive in a professional and courteous manner. Sent Tech today and completed the service. I am satisfied that the problem has been resolved. I would upgrade from one to four stars.

Never will I use this company when I have to replace unit. There is no service. Today is my fourth time being rescheduled.First time out after they left my ac was not cooling. It was working perfect before they performed 6 month maintenance . Then had to have someone out to fix from previous visit. Found system low on refrigerant. Now trying to have them back out a week later and first it was rescheduled because the tech they tried to send caused all the problems, then no show no call, then 3 rd day no show no call. And today it was supposed to be 8-12 and as of 11:00 into another 8-12 appointment no call and no show.

When they comeOut they say need a new compressorI wait 5 days and they still don’t call back so ICall another company and it’s just a contacter and the air works in 10 minutes.They don’t deserve any stars. Have used them for the past 5 years. The company has been sold twice. The current owners take your money for their yearly service plan and then do not show up or call that they will no be able to make it to the scheduled service. The service appointment that was made 2 weeks prior and they leave you waiting at home for a few hours for someone to show up. When you call to speak to a manager there is none and no one calls back from the manager when requested. When you call back to schedule your service appointment again, now they say that they are no longer doing any service appointments. I just paid $200 for another year, and they are no longer doing service appointments! Dont use this company. They may have been great at one time but not anymore.

Called this company and they came out next day, dealt with Kurt he solved all of our problems. He was extremely professional and clean! Arrived on time was very patient and helpful. I would 100 percent recommend him and this company! My ac is back up and running and I am extremely satisfied!

I have never been able to call and speak clearly about my account with anyone there... it is virtually impossible to reach a manager. This is an ongoing issue. When I speak to customer service persons they are rude and have in the past even hung up the phone on me SEVERAL times over the years. Every time I go to deal with them about anything its a huge ordeal. I cringe at the the thought of dealing with them. We purchased a very advanced and very expensive A/C unit from Aspen Air and supposedly their technicians would know how to do maintenance on it. Sometimes service people come out that dont even know how to work that specific unit even though we purchased the unit from them. Last time this happened and I had to wait all day for someone who had no idea about working with it. Then I waited for a second day and they cancelled the maintenance because they were too full... just like that. So they expected me to wait a third day when they cant even send someone qualified. Now this time I have been waiting since last Friday to speak to someone about the maintenance contract and to find out about transferability of the A/C unit warranty. There is only one single person in the entire office that can give me an answer (or rather I get different answer from each person I spoke to, typical that no one knows what they are talking about) and she is virtually impossible to reach and does not return calls it seems since it is now Wednesday and I am still waiting to hear from here since last Friday. I had to deal with rude and uninformed staff today AGAIN trying to reach her. I am so fed up with them and celebrate that we have sold the home and will shortly no longer ever have to deal with them since we are not under contract/warranty for that specific A/C unit anymore. I feel sorry for the new buyers if they choose to have the maintenance from the company that installed the unit that offers the warranty. It obliges one to keep a maintenance contract with people you dont want to deal with but feel trapped to go anywhere else because like many of their own technicians, many other companies may not know how to work with such an advanced unit. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ASPEN AIR. There are a few people that seemed nice and helpful over the years, but not worth the total mess and the lot of rude and incompetent staff they have. I can say with all honesty... this is the first time I have EVER in my entire LIFE written any kind public complaint about any company. I hope no one else has to go through what I have gone through with them.____I just re-edited this in order to respond to the answer below (seems I cant reply directly). Rather than giving me a phone number of someone to call... someone should call me as promised since Friday. I even completed the form on the website explaining I had been waiting since Friday to hear back. Surprisingly someone called back and promised that that person I needed to speak to would call me in an hour... That was at 3:50... it now the end of the day 6:10 and no one called.... It should not be up to me to call and make the complaint.. a company should call back their customers timely and as promised, and when someone explains the issues they have had, to take REAL note of it rather than seem annoyed that I am relaying the issues I have had and not even apologize for the failings in service. If I called now to explain the issues I have had over the years it would take me several hours to explain. I will spend my time to do this now that we have sold the home.It seems our maintenance contract was not renewed and someone is coming tomorrow morning. You will have wasted resources sending someone that I will not accept for service. Since no one was able to give me answers since Friday and the last person I spoke to earlier today hung up the phone on me (not from the website communication). I am not going to call back and waste my time to re-explain everything for the 4th time. Send your technician. Tomorrow I may finally get a call from you when he shows up and no one is there to receive him.

Run away!! This is the worst company I have ever encountered. Not only did they cancel and no show on me three times, but when my AC stops working the day they were suppose to come due to a clogged drain they try and charge after hours pricing on top of repairs. This never would have been needed if they would have shown up 2 months ago and did the service as scheduled. When we protested regarding the extra fees they were completely unapologetic. Their customer service is atrocious. Find yourself a company who actually wants to earn your business.

I would not recommend this company, if you need maintenance be ready to wait months to get it taken care of. For, although they give you a scheduled time to come out and have it done, you are not PRIORITY AS WORD FOR WORD FROM THE REPRESENTIVE TOLD ME. He, specifically said that todays workload had to many break downs and they become PRIORITY prior to maintenance customers. And then proceeded to cancel my appointment. It just seems to me if your going to have maintenance services. Then you should be well prepared for the tentative volume for a daily workload.. Very poor organization skills. Or possibly if this is how they want to do business they should let the customer know that one is placed on a TENTATIVE schedule. So in conclusion, if they are unable to organize some maintenance procedures what does this say about the rest of there company.. just saying.. Not professional and I would not recommend this company, because its like a pandoras box of surprises if you do so choose to pursue further down the journey of serious repairs with this company.. This is the worst company in the world. They scheduled me twice for an appointment slot from 12:00 to 5:00pm on Tuesday and Friday. They did not show up either time. Then we rescheduled for Saturday. They promised first appointment of the day. They said 8:00 AM is first 10:00 now and not here. Ive called 3 times and now they say they are prioritizing emergencies. DO NOT USE THEM.

My wife is 7 months pregnant and our house is 86 degrees inside. Aspen is causing a lot of unnecessary stress that could harm her and our unborn child. We called the day the A/C went down to schedule a repair as they were the original installer. They said that if we sign up for the PRO Plan they would send someone over that evening. They did not come out. We called the next day and they said they would be there that evening. They did not show. We called again the next morning, and they said that we were next in line and they would be here. Again no show.This company is very unprofessional and I would highly reccomend not hiring them for any service.

Bad experience. Asked for routine maintenance, found out that A/c was not cooling. Told me I needed an electrician. Asked him he was going to change filter snd he asked me for the filter. I said everyone else clears the drain . He said we do not do that. I said what do u do -he said check the gages. I called electrician and he said I had a blown fuse and needed electrician. Well that was 2 service calls without results.

In a word, unreliable. I scheduled an appointment for an AC tune up ~2 weeks ago. At 930am this morning I received a voicemail stating that my appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm. Unfortunately, I never received a request to confirm. I called back and the individual I spoke with stated that she “might” be able to fit me in today. I reminded her that I had an 8am-12pm window blocked for them. They never showed up and I booked another company.In response to the owners offer to make it right:I stand by the review above. There are a large number of HVAC companies in the area and you lost your opportunity to earn my business when you failed to show up.

I assigned one star in order to post, but it should have been zero. Run, dont walk, away from this company! This has been by far the worst installation debacle a person could ever experience. Last February 2020 I contacted Aspen to install a new A/C unit. I paid the down of over $2300 as requested. After the installation was completed, I was dissatisfied with the positioning of the outside condenser. They installed it sideways! While waiting for the first inspection out of 7, yes I said 7, I asked if the unit could be turned 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. A city inspector said it would pass either way. The company refused. But that was just the beginning of problems. The unit did not pass inspection due to numerous other issues. There were 6 or 7 issues from faulty wiring not to code, to an incorrect condensation pump to non-working heating unit, insulation/strapping issues and others. Serious infractions. While waiting for the failed issues to be fixed, I received a letter from the City of Boca Raton that a lien would be issued if I did not pay the rest of the balance. This is before the unit passed inspection!! The company had allowed the permit to expire and they had to file for another. I made numerous calls to their answering service, office personnel and the city of Boca. Still no final inspection. I then spoke with someone named MIKE from the local office. He told me if I did not pay the 90% he would put a lien on the property. Yet he did nothing to assist in the inspection process. He agreed to possibly turning the condenser, but I would have to sign a waiver releasing Aspen of any liability. The conversation ended with his advice for me to get a lawyer, its going to cost you. After paying the additional $ to meet the 90%, I waited again for a final inspection. At that point the company placed the account with a collection agency!I made the final payment 4/8 2021, I was asked if there was any thing else they could do. My request was for them to reposition the condenser, which they refused. The hot air blasting to the side is destroying my plantings.It took a full year for the unit to finally pass inspection!! No one should ever have to go through this. I contracted with this company with the expectation that a local company that had been in business for years would be proficient. Apparently the original owner had sold the business to a corporation. It was a horrible experience. I have submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Save yourself the aggravation and choose another company.

WARNING: SCATHING REVIEW!I have no idea how this business, A: is still in business and B: has a 3.8 rating. Yes, we had a new HAVC unit installed in June of 2020 and it still working, although in the 1st 30 days they did have to come out for a service call which was handled well. That said, that is the only good thing we will/can say about this company except for 2 others a little further into the review.From the sales rep and sales manager (both of whom are not there any longer), that sold us a Carrier condenser and air handler. The more obvious unit is the condenser which is the one outside with the Carrier logo on it, but installed a Rheem air handler which is in the very back of a closet and the logo or brand isnt visible, and was a seer less than what we were sold and, which is a considerable price point difference for a Rheem and for a seer at a lower number.When the city came for the final inspection, it failed as the paperwork submitted to the city didnt match what was installed. I called Aspen immediately, and they stated they would resubmit the paperwork and correct the situation. Admittedly, I wasnt tuned in to it for many months due to injury/illness however, when I received a call to schedule a final inspection after many months after the original install, I got a call from a woman who took the place of the person (2nd good thing about our experience) who was originally in that position.After speaking with her the 1st time on 3/18/21, she said she would look into it and get back to me. A week went went by so I called her back, she didnt have any information, and said she would research further and get back to me. Another week went by, I called back, no recollection of our conversation until I gave all the details again, and said she would call me back as she needed to speak with the manager. I asked to hold; she came back on the line, the file is lost. I was now on speaker phone with her and one of the managers, and was understandably EXTREMELY UPSET now, and admittedly was verbally abusive and LOUD.Finally, after send several follow up texts to the installation manager, they determined that they needed to replace the air handler, and did so on 4/9/21. At that time they were supposed to replace the 50 amp with a 60 amp breaker in my breaker box, and label it on the condenser. I was out of town, and my husband didnt realize they hadnt done it.It is now 4/28/21, and with extremely bad, near non existent follow up or retention of issues, and no attention to DETAIL, the final inspection is scheduled for tomorrow. I had to call, again, to advise the FIRST item on the attached failed final inspection in OCT 2020 (which I attached in a text message to the manager per his request on 3/23/21), I stated .I went to check to see if the 60 amp breaker was installed, and if the label was on the handler. NOPE! I called and advised Aspen of this. When I spoke to the permit person (who I will not name)I asked to have him call MY number; but she gave him the other number listed on the account, my husbands number who works from home, and who was on a call and couldnt take the call. In fairness, the guy sent to take care of it, was not part of the install team, but was told to call 30 min prior to arriving. He was given the wrong number of the 2 on the account, and it went to voice mail...but didnt bother to go just a quick easy extra step to call the office and ask if there is an alternate number OR call his manager for the number, or advice, and to whom I also spoke today about the situation said he was with the guy who would be coming out today.She has spoken to me more than enough times to know which number to have provided, AND with ALL the issues we have had, I told her, twice to have him call my number. When he came to the door, my for very loud barking dogs went crazy, and I became immediately upset. I COULD GO ON, but the character limit will not allow. Definitely will NOT recommend Aspen Air! NO WAY!

I am pleasantly surprised that Danny gave superb service. My wife reached out and mentioned they were kind from the initial call. From the moment he entered the door until the time he left his service was comparable to that of Chick Fil A service 👍🏽. Kind, knowledgeable and very professional, he ensured I was taken care of with reasonable sense in pricing. I will definitely and without hesitation request Aspen and Danny again!

I called the company and they sent a technition the same day. in walked aKurt a person who has truly restored my trust and integrity in people. not only was he the best tech guy but Kurt is a person who truly cares and has compassion for his customers. Had a window appt between 12 nd 5. At 430 ish. Called to see what was going on nd was told there running late. With no courtesy call from them I canceled the appointment..was going to wait any longer...have been a customer of theres for 11 yrs plus... have had trouble with customer service since they changed management.... Called Costco to have an estimate for a new air conditioner installed. A salesperson from Aspen came to my house to assess my needs and provide me with an estimate. After a hour and a half of a presentation and measurements, the salesperson was not able to answer questions about the system or my needs. Wanted me to decide on what system I wanted. When I did not give him a definitive answer, He called his manager to discuss our conversation to try make the sale. This company uses high pressure sales tactics and is not transparent as they do not answer questions about the equipment, the installation, or additional equipment that may be needed. What a waste of time. Disappointed with Costco for using this company.

Alejandro was supposed to give me a quote for a HVAC system and he never send any response after visiting my home. He doesn’t even bother to send me a text or call me back. Had a new unit installed in NOV 2019. I had a maintenance tech come out in Aug. He did nothing wouldnt even vacuum my drain line. Said he couldnt get to it. After he left my ac unit would not cool proper. I made 3 calls to Aspen for service and they would not come out. I finally called another company. The guy from Aspen apparently knocked off an attached vent. Attic air was flowing for almost 3 weeks in to my house. Aspen is not the family owned company they used to be. I made a huge mistake having this place in stall my new AC....as the tech from PREFERRED SERVICE inspected all equipment. There was also a vent/duct that was installed backward. I have made a complaint to CARRIER CORPORATION. This place that used to be ASPEN should not be in business. They are branched off from a company in Georgia ...They are just the worst company. Believe me dont use this place. The good reviews you see here about a tech named Stanley is prob not real, as they have no good men. The maintenance tech that came out to my house could not even speak English. YOU ARE SO SORRY ASPEN.YOU are GOING DOWN. I have a super sensitive unit that at least once per week I have to drain water from the valve or the nest gives a error message and the system shuts down. I have made now FOURRRRR appointments where no one comes. No one in management comes to the phone to answering to the terrible service, they constantly tell you there is no notes or record of the appointment, and they magically find one they have the wrong issue you called about. Technician had no idea what he was supposed to do, I told him it was an inspection offer from someone at Home Depot. I asked if they did any duct cleaning and he kept saying no we don’t even after explaining that it was ok and it was just a question. I asked him if he knew what he was supposed to do then he literally turned his back on me and walked out without saying anything and left. I would give negative stars if possible!

The technician that came out to diagnose the issue almost broke the inside unit. He started prying on the unit that was sealed. I had to stop him. He then proceed to evaluate the coils. It was cleared. Then he started on the outside unit. Not sure how he short circuit the breakers. I had never had such nonsense. He took a hose to supposedly cool the unit down. He didn’t bother to open the unit to check the compressor. He said there was a leak and couldn’t detect where. Really...The supervisor back up his work. I got a 2nd opinion. There was no leak whatsoever. STAY AWAY FROM SHADY ASPEN!!!!!!

Got their contact from COSTCO. but these guys are total scammers. called them to have a minor fix in the AC and they wanted to sell new AC and not fix the issue. called them another time for another minor fix by bad luck and they kept us hanging for two days. we were without AC due to these scammers. they wanted to change us for their scam estimate of $2000. i have reported them to COSTCO customer service also. i DONOT recommend these scammers.

Had new Trane unit put in 9/2019, bought 10 year parts and labor warranty . Oct 2020 unit failed, told coil box leaking, needs replacing. Without air for 3 weeks because they can’t get a drain pan ! joe does not return calls- I’m told they are coming and I’m ON THE SCHEDULE, so wait all day and they NO SHOW! Been customer for 15 years NEVER had such horrible service!!!

$8,000 plus and after 13 months something blows up and I have no ac... their main concern is their $99 to come look... and they say “if electrical that’s not our responsibility” oh I see when you install you did not hook it up to the electrical system? Right... no concern for the damage not the possibility that this could have burned my house down... just their $99 for the visit.... never again.... think I’ll call ECM next time!!Wall next to compressor has a black burn 4 feet tall and the electrical junction box where the fire originated is melted along with the wires.. wish I could share a picture... but their main concern is $90 for the visit... wait for tech from 5pm to 11pm... nice...

I bought my townhome in 2013. The AC unit was installed when my townhome was built back in 2005 and was functioning well at the time. I believe it was either Rheem or American Standard. There was a sticker attached to my HVAC unit from Aspen, so naturally I engaged with them to service the unit. Between 2013 and early 2016 my HVAC unit was working phenomenally and I had virtually no issues with it.In early 2016 my HVAC unit was experiencing problems and naturally I called Aspen to come take a look at it. They recommended I replace the entire unit as the cost to fix the evaporator coils, blowers, capacitor, etc. they had identified were failing was going to cost a significant amount (around $3,000), and in the long run it would be cost effective to buy a new unit instead of replacing the parts. The new unit was going to cost around $5,000 to install. It was odd to me at first as the original HVAC unit was only 11 years old at the time and my parents AC unit was 20 years at the time and was still in tip top shape. Yet, as I dont know anything about HVAC units and Aspen are specialists in the HVAC area, I decided to listen to Aspen and install a top of the line Carrier unit which the technician raved about.The installation of the top of the line Carrier unit happened in March of 2016. Everything was working fine until the summer of 2018 when my evaporator coils went kaput. I called Aspen to assist and they were too busy to service my HVAC unit. As a result, I had to call another company to assist me considering the extreme heat in South Florida and the fact that at the time I had a one-year old toddler who could not withstand extreme temperatures. The other company I called came to my house right away (thank you ECM!).When ECM came to inspect my HVAC unit they said there was likely a refrigerant leak as the coils were frozen and I was low on refrigerant. The specialist mentioned he could run a leak test but that it was pointless as the leak test was expensive and wasnt going to solve the issue. Instead, it would likely prove what he suspected was happening (e.g. leak in evaporator coils). Accordingly, he recommended I install new evaporator coils at a cost of ~$1,200. Considering this, I decided to bypass the leak test and just replace the coils. Again, this was very odd to me considering that the top of the line Carrier unit was only two years old at the time, but trusted that what the ECM technician was saying was correct as I clearly saw the ice on my evaporator coils. I also took a look at the refrigerant reading (it was low) and the evaporator coils looked rusted. This led to me question why a unit so new would have such an issue. The ECM technician could only speculate that: (a) the unit may have been faulty to begin with, (b) the unit was installed with low refrigerant, (c) the coils were dirty and never cleaned between installation in 2016 and when they broke in 2018, or (d) the installation was faulty. Given that Aspen was servicing my unit during that period I could only fault them as they were responsible for inspecting my unit, ensuring it was properly installed and that the parts installed were in good shape and properly maintained considering I have a maintenance contract with them.In 2020 I continued having issues with the HVAC unit despite having it serviced by Aspen. They recommended I get a $300.00 UV light to clean the coils (which I did) and then they recommended I change the capacitor ($290), which was odd as my unit is only 4 years old and capacitors are supposed to last 20 years! All in all, this company and their recommended products have been terrible. Moreover, they dont keep to their scheduled appointments and I am constantly having to wait for them beyond their scheduled times. As a matter of fact, my HVAC unit is again having issues (loud rattling sound) and I was supposed to get an Aspen technician onsite between 8 and 12 p.m.. It is 4:32 p.m. and the technician is MIA. Do yourself a favor and never use this company.

After receiving 4 additional vendor quotes for a new AC, we decided to use Aspen thru Costco since we were members and were confident their work would be backed up by Costco. This was a mistake. First, the sales person played a good selling game making promises and unaware of his own companys service reliability. Installation was to happen at 9am, text came from sales rep at 12:30pm stating they were running behind and he was unaware the reason behind. This is the only AC company Ive experienced that doesnt text you or call you with this information. Other vendors are much more tech advanced. AC installation occurred 8 hours later, at approx 5pm-9pm. Installation team wasnt even aware a second return had to be installed .Lack of communication within Aspen organization. UV light was out of stock, so sales manager didnt educate himself on inventory before selling it. Installation team worked diligently so credit to them - Shodiac and Adolpre. Only complaint -gravel was left all over my driveway when the concrete slab was delivered. They also claimed my condensation drip was cleared. Not sure if this means just inside but the outside drip line was full of sludge. Second part of installation w second return occurred 2 days later. It is not working. After Aspen takes your $7500, they completely ignore you. Reached out to Trevor - Operations Manager and Mike Matthews - Service Manager regarding 2nd return not working and no response. They state it will take up to 48 hours for a response. One would think after a customer spends $7k, a company would do a follow-up QA phone call to see if customer is happy. This company doesnt. Shows how little they care about you. Sorry I have to remind Aspen to do this and finish the job they started. Aspen needs some retraining on customer service and professionalism. Learn to value your customers. I will be filing a complaint with Costco CEO regarding their relationship with this vendor and they shouldnt even put their Costco brand behind them. If Aspens QA manager reads this, just use this review as a reason to ask for further training for yourself and Aspen employees. I would be happy to do it. Buyer beware. Hopefully a phone call will come tomorrow, if not I will return the entire unit and refund my $7.5k. I will use another company that values their customers.

SCAM. Had them do an AC Tune up on a unit working fine. (I have it done yearly on several rentals). This unit has a single woman living there. The tech told her the coils were clogged and this was a major problem that needed to be taken care of in order to keep her bill down (a couple hundred dollars to clean the coils). I asked for a picture of the coils and he would not send it. The tenant took a pic of the coils- clean and not clogged- see the attached picture. The tech was not being honest. He also told her that the compressor on this 8 year old unit was not installed properly and needed to be worked on and that his office would notify her. THE TECHS MAKE COMMISSION ON WHAT THE SELL- EVEN DISHONESTLY TO AN UNSUSPECTING FEMALE.

Stay away, they seem very shady. I have been practically begging them for days to give me a quote to replace my entire A/C system. Nothing. I call and, after several minutes on hold, get a call center in Orlando. They will take my info and call me. Problem is Ive had multiple people take my info and promise to call/e-mail me to no avail. I mean, how much work do I have to do to spend thousands of dollars with your company? Its ludicrous to me that these guys wont even give me a simple quote. My initial salesman had a personal issue, which I totally understand, but after giving his manager my info and product requirements I have yet to receive a quote. Its really weird how they dont seem to want business. So Im buying a $7000 system from another company that is more than happy to have the business.

Had an appointment scheduled on Saturday from 12-4. At 4:15 I called because I hadn’t heard from anyone. The lady on the phone said my dispatcher will call you shortly with an ETA. I then realized when it hit 6:15 that no one was coming, and no was going to give me the decency to call and tell me. Not sure why they wouldn’t just call and tell me they were running late and needed to re-schedule. Taking my business elsewhere.

I had a service contract with them after they fixed my unit (under warranty by Lennox), since I purchased the unit at Costco, I was referred to Aspen since the old company was not working with Costco any longer. They serviced my unit Thursday and it started leaking water after they left. I called and they made an appointment for Saturday 12-4. At 2:30pm I called asking if the tech was still coming, I was assured they were. At 5pm I called and no one picked up the call. Wasted my Saturday waiting. Called today Monday early and I was given a window of 12-2pm. Guess what? They didn’t show up today either. Total disregard to a customer. Stay away! Very unprofessional!!!

STAY AWAY! Do not consider Aspen Air when purchasing a new unit. I am the property manager for a home owner who made the mistake of using ASPEN AIR to install the new air conditioner. A/C was purchased in NOVEMBER 2018. After months of trying to get the inspection completed the home owner went north in May and asked that I follow up on the final inspection. It is now JULY 2019 and they have still not been able to get a cleared inspection on this house. I have called and left message but ERICA (Im not sure there really IS an Erica) never returns phone calls. They blame all the problems on people they hired to schedule inspections that are no longer working there. Perhaps they should have installed the unit properly in the first place. The permit expired so they had to go back to the city to have it re-issued. Dont believe the hype they put in their ads!

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. After what was supposed to be a routine coil and fan cleaning our unit was FUBAR. Coolant was leaking into our home so we bought a carbon monoxide detector out of fear. Even worse than the incompetent techs who performed the cleaning was the senior tech, Shaun, who examined the unit after it stopped cooling.He claimed he couldnt hear what was an obvious whistling sound coming from the unit because he had tinnitus. After saying that the cleaning was done properly and we simply had old insulation, he asked us if we wanted a quote on a NEW system right after paying $800 dollars for the cleaning.Something was clearly wrong since the unit was working perfectly until they did the cleaning. 6+ plus days without proper air-conditioning in Florida during the summertime. Right before we took them to small-claims court, another tech was sent out. He was able to find the problem immediately and fixed the unit completely the next day after a part came in, all free.If you cant detect an obvious issue like this after 20+ years in the industry you should probably consider another profession or retirement.

I reported a problem with the outside condenser (the fan engine) on Friday (6/26/20) morning, Aspens technician arrives after 17:00, he confirmed the fault in the fan motor in the outside condenser, the part need to be replaced (my HVAC -Lennox- was installed by Aspen 3 years ago) but that replacement will be occurred until MONDAY!!! as simply as that... Aspen does not care about we will be 3 days without air conditioning in home during a heat spike in the area (we are had 100 degree inside the house)...Aspen advertising information is a lie, when they say we are available to support 24x7!!!..Aspen simply cant solve the problem on Friday and let me 3 days without air condition. Is hard to believe that a company like Aspen does not have access to spare parts belong to a very important manufacturer (Lennox), aspen need to stops to lie to their customers about the 24x7 service and solution. In addition and in spite of the delay (3 days) to solve the problem, Aspen charged me US$402 (this amount is insulting mainly after they took 3 days to provide the spare part that was apparently for free) to replace the fan motor which take 30 minutes which is a very simple task and just need to remove 12 screws (and apparently the spare part replacement was for free since my HVAC in under a 10 years of manufacturer warranty in parts)..this US$402 was for the labor (30 minutes to provide the diagnostic and other 30 minutes to replaces the motor) !!! totally insane!!! Finally, the second technician just arrive on Monday (6/29/20) at 17:20 to replace the motor, and by the way, was his first time to replace this component and I need to provide support to him during the motor replacement....totally unacceptable from the beginning! Definitely this is not what I expected when I bought to Aspen our very expensive Lennox HVAC three years ago.

My AC is not working after 1 year. The first time they come to fix it, they can’t figure out the problem. Just they added some air to my AC to cool my house down. Now after a month, my AC is not working again. The house is at 86 and above in a FLORIDA summer! We called the customer service and told that someone will call us back. No response!!! I can’t believe the new AC with this company is worse than my 10 year old AC at my another house. Now we can just pray someone can get back to us. The house is hot like hell!! I will not recommend this company.
