Very nice people. Gave me a list of items that needed attention and told me what could wait and what needed to be done asap. My problem was the mark up on the prices of the parts and the hours used to calculate labor. I dont mind 20% parts mark up but the prices in this case were marked up 125% from what I could buy them for at a local parts place. I was able to buy those 3 parts for $100 and they wanted $280.00. The book called for 2.5 hours labor too and I had it done in about an hour and a half in a parking lot. My guess is that an actual mechanic would have had it done in about 15 minutes. I realize that the price of everything was being calculated in their system but a serpentine belt, tensioner and pulley should not cost $600. A human should have looked at that quote and adjusted it down by about half.

After moving to Cincinnati I know longer had my “go-to” auto shop for my car. I drive a Volkswagen which, little did realize, is very expensive to fix and tend to have a lot of issues. After reading reviews and looking only for a locally owned shop, I went to Don’s for my first auto repair and I can’t begin to say how much I LOVE this place!! The employees and so nice and informative and continue to impress me each time I return. There prices are beyond reasonable for my foreign car and they have my car done before the expected time. They also provide free rental cars if needed! I appreciate them personally texting me and checking in on my car and the hand written note they sent. Seriously look no further...go to Don’s!!

Great customer service! Communication was excellent. I was texted a report on my cars inspection that even included pictures. They were able to replace my break pads and rotors same day and also found a wheel bearing that had been causing a lot of noise while driving. Would definitely recommend!

Don’s Auto really does a good job. I was thoroughly impressed with the work they did. I have an Audi and had them replace the brakes and wheel bearings and they fixed it no problem. They also ran a diagnosis on my vehicle to make sure everything else was working properly. One time I got my oil changed here and they even gave me a car to use while my car was getting fixed. They also sent me a coupon for being a first time customer. I’d highly recommend Don’s. It’s definitely some of the best vehicle service I’ve experienced in the Cincinnati area.

I just moved to this area recently and was recommend to Don’s. It’s not super close to where I live but I will definitely be returning for all of my future automotive needs. Don’s is fantastic, they took great care of me. Found my electrical gremlin on my ‘85 and fixed it. They’re going to be my go to from here on out with any car problems I’m not able to do at home.

I loved the online inspection report and the pictures of any issues. This helped me believe that they were being honest with me. Showing me in great detail with photos what was wrong with my vehicle. I needed the starter replaced and also an oil change. This was I believe at 11 am this past Monday. Brought my car in for a new engine, they were very communicative with the entire process from start to finish and got the entire engine swapped in a matter of a month tops! And the vehicle runs just as good(if not better) than it did before my engine gave out. Definitely recommend this shop!

They just acquired a shop on the Eastside, Columbia Tusculum area. Decided to check them out for an oil change. They were friendly, shop was clean, chatted about the new location and service was done, I was in and out in no time. Its a full-service shop so Ill be sure to check them out when in need of something more than an oil change.

I have had both my cars serviced here and had a great experience both times. Casey and his team are courteous, professional and give you the right advice. The prices are not the cheapest but for the quality of service and care you get, its a no-brainer to go to Dons. Ever since moving Cincinnati, Ive been bringing my car is here. They are trustworthy, communicative, and best of all, dont try to oversell you and services. When you drop a car off here, theyll call you and say heres the things that we found, these need to be done, these are optional, and these can be postponed. I had driven by this place a bunch, but for some reason never thought to use them. I just bought a new car, and Im selling my 2003 Miata to my neighbor. The Miata is great, but I noticed 2 days ago that the AC couldnt keep up with the 90+ degree heat, so I needed to get that fixed before I sell the car. So I search google for independent import car service, Dons popped up, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. And theyre only a couple miles from my house. I called them yesterday, and Casey scheduled me for today. Dropped the car off at 9:00, and a couple hours later I got the call- car was done. Very friendly folks, I will use them again!

Highly trained, experienced, knowledgeable staff, they take care of what you need, and do not try to sell you something you do not need. Never have to return for a re-do, they do great work and help you plan for what you may need next. Friendly, courteous staff. I wont go anywhere else.

I had a GREAT experience here. I called in the morning and they were able to take my car immediately. Casey kept me up to date of exactly what was happening with me car and the timeline of the repairs. I took my 2005 Civic to Honda and asked for a safety inspection. They told me the car was fine. I didnt trust them so I took it to Dons. It was far from fine. I was provided a complete online report with pictures. In person they gave me recommendations and options as to what needed repairs most importantly for safety. I TRUST DONS AUTO!

First time taking my car there and I was very impressed! They not only diagnosed my car’s issue right away, but they were able to make the repair quickly and it cost what they estimated. I can’t attest to their work but I can to their honesty. They could have taken advantage and charged me for an extremely expensive repair. Instead, they informed me I should take it to my dealership and that my repair may be covered under a factory warranty. On top of that they charged me nothing for the time spent. For this I would recommend Don’s and certainly intend to visit when I’m in need of any repair again.P.S. When I first took my vehicle to Dons Id had nothing but bad experiences with a couple of mechanics who had done major repairs on my car and had really done more damage than repairs. My car was still not working properly and of course I didnt know what to expect from Dons. However taking my car to Dons has been the best experience Ive eve had with any repair shop ever. They are honest and will get the job done as quickly as possible. They undid all of the bad thats been done. When you leave the shop you feel confident that the job is done and is done right. I am not afraid that when I drive a way that something is going to fall apart or I am going to call them as soon as I get home or have to turn to take my cadillac immediately back for servicing. To anyone reading this if you want peace of mind with your vehicle please stop by Dons and get your vehicle done right the first time! Ive taken my 2006 Dodge RAM to Dons Auto a few times for some hard to find but mechanically devastating issues. Don and his crew were able to find and resolve the issues, and in a timely manner.
