He called the station and they quickly responded with YES they can see my car. They gave me a loaner and I was on my way in no time. This was towards end of day on Thursday. They promptly responded Friday morning with a diagnosis and cost estimate. They repaired my car quickly and I picked up my car on Friday afternoon.I can say they were very reasonable very friendly and helpful. Note: I do most of my own work on my cars and Im pickier than most.Bills auto service did a good job and did the work right. I took 2 stars off because their prices are way too high. I got an intake manifold replaced on a 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 for ~$950, and the fuel filter replaced/fuel line repaired on a Toyota RAV4 for over $1000.Whatever price you see for the part at AutoZone/OReillys, their price is double. Plus they charge ~$100/hour for labor. Thats way to high.The pricing at Firestone on Fields Ertel seems pretty fair. Youll pay half as much for the same quality work over there.

Bills has wonderful impressive customer service! I had to have my suv towed back in July and Bills did the towing and the repair on my ac compressor. They had it fixed in about a day. Cant say much on repair pricing since I dont have to have my car worked on often but the person who called me to tell me why my car wouldnt start was very informative and really took the time to walk me through what was wrong, what happened and the process it get the car fixed. They were very friendly on the phone and when I picked the car up. They even texted me a week later to make sure everything was still good and if I had any issues. What really impressed me is that it is now September, about 2 months later, and they (Will) texted me again to reach out and make sure everything was still good! I find that very impressive and great customer service. I would defiantly recommend Bills to anyone and if I even need work on my car again I will be calling them!

Bills Auto is outstanding! I have trusted Bills with our family vehicles for 15 years and had excellent experiences in every circumstance. The shop charges a fair price for quality work; the mechanics are honest when stating what your car needs and whether or not they would recommend the repairs based on cost vs. remaining life of the car. As an example, our Honda Accord was burning oil recently at a high rate (> 1 Qt/1000 miles). Rather than charging us to fix the problem, Bill called Hondas mechanics and found an unpublicized warranty extension/recall on faulty piston rings. The repair would likely have cost $2,000-$2500 through Bills, but Bill suggested we call Honda and see if they would honor the warranty extension. Honda initially denied the extension/recall, but changed their tune when I shared that Bill had talked to their mechanics.The phone call to Honda that Bill suggested saved us (and cost Bill) $1500 as Honda covered 75% of the repair cost. Bill never even considered the lost revenue for his shop; he was just happy that he was able to help! This is just one example. I will continue to go to Bills Auto and recommend it to others for as long as I own a vehicle!

Being super pressed for time, I took my car to a shop against my better judgment, and turns out I was right. Bills tried charging me $800 to put a radiator in my 2006 grand prix. I kindly passed and did it myself in my driveway within 3 1/2 hours for $160. Buyer beware.

I would recommend Bills too a reasonable owner. U had my 13 Volkswagen Jetta TDI, but Im thankful that he was able to let me leave my car there for a few months and I didnt get any complaint for doing so. He took owned that it was his fault.him towing to the shop to see the problem was too much of his time he would be putting into fixing the problem.and in turn I was shocked to not be changed anything at all. I just moved here from Minneapolis and one of my cars wouldnt start on Sunday. I asked Siri closest towing service and it provided me Bills Towing. I called and provided my infomation and when the driver arrived he was very friendly. He provided a jump and stay around to ensure the car would start after it was running for several minutes. He was personable and provided me the information for service on the car. I now have a car service repair shop I trust and will be using!

My 2010 Hyundai Elantra was making a horrible grinding noise. Not only did they do a full FREE inspection on my car they told me exactly what the issue was. Didnt try to sell me on other repairs. Shane was so kind and went over every issue with me and told me what needed to be done. Turns out it was the rear brakes and rotor. I got an estimate from Shane and called a few other places who were going to charge me way more. This will now be the place I use for any kind of car repair. I am already telling family, friends, and co-workers about how great they are.

The people at Bills are honest, theyre reliable, theyre efficient and cost-effective. And theyre not pushy, either! Ive been going there for years, and certainly plan on continuing.

Any kind of car trouble is frustrating and being broke down in traffic is the worst. Bill’s towing took very good care of me and my truck. Showed up quick, loaded my truck very professionally, and got me to their auto repair shop. Since this was a break down rather than an accident, there wasn’t any insurance involved to help me pay for it, so luckily their prices are very fair.

Was having an oil leak, had 0 idea why as I had recently gotten an oil change and the car had just gone through a used car inspection. These guys were kind enough to lift my car up to see what the issue was even though they were swamped. They found the issue, prior mechanic had damaged the filter causing the leak. Then to go even further they fit me into their busy day to fix the issue. Saved me a huge headache, gave me good advice on other items on my car and were all around extremely helpful, professional, and courteous.

Bills has worked on my car for probably a year now and I just had to sell it but they did a wonderful wonderful job I cant say anything bad about that place I had nothing but great results everyone was very kind and quite knowledgeable about their job

The folks at Bills are experts. They know cars. Simply an excellent team of people who know their stuff and are doing work they want to do. They arent trying to be a big name company. They use quality parts so their costs are a big higher than you might expect. But if you want the work done well, for someone to be accountable, its a great place.

Monday we had appointment to have some things done we wanted them to do only. as always all went well. I have always had trust in them. prices are fair and work is excellent. ron has always been great to work with.

I took my car in for an estimate because it was acting up and was told that my car needed $2000 worth of service. I was skeptical that so much work was necessary so I only had them fix the major issue that I knew I had. Afterwards, I took the car to my usual mechanic and he said there was nothing wrong with my car at all. Additionally, they sent me pictures of broken parts that I believe werent from my car. Buyer beware.

Bills is the best. I have been going there since 1981. There have been several times when I have taken a vehicle there thinking it was a major problem requiring a costly fix only to find out that it was minor or not a problem at all. They could have soaked me but never did. A good honest shop.

*PLEASE READ EVERYONE* Had my truck towed by bills towing the driver didnt strap up my driveshaft and unloaded my truck with driveshaft hanging down led to getting the driveshaft stuck on bed of the tow truck and driver tried getting it unstuck leading to bending my carrier bearing bracket and pull out my whole driveshaft. Driver called owner and he said hes not paying for the damage that the driver did while it was on the flatbed. Then the owner made a comment about the mileage on the truck then I showed the driver all the mantance recordereds where its been maintance by every service intervals.

I would give this no stars worst company ever.My son was in an accident they refused payment from the insurance company and demanded cash. Basically stealing his car.To top this all pff they kept his car key never deal with them they are thieves

Bill was the only mechanic I had ever met who was honest and treated me with respect, and was afforable on my limited budget. Too often when a woman takes her car for repairs she is treated like an idiot and an easy mark.Dealing with an honest businessman that keeps your car on the road was a win-win!

This is the same review I left on yelp. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE, heres why:We had a 1998 Honda Accord towed there after it wouldnt start. Just kept cranking but not turning over. We got it towed from the intersection of Reed Hartman Hwy and Williamson Rd. Cost of tow was approximately $65. (This was about a mile away from their shop).After getting to the shop we gave them specific details to lead to a quicker diagnosis. We told them what to look for. The car wasnt generating spark. We knew this. Why? Because one of the spark plug were fully broken off and after we tested the ignition coil, we werent getting a response. So we already knew the issue. But they insisted on charging us to look at the car anyway. Im not a mechanic, so we agreed that we would pay the diagnostic fee and have them confirm the issue for us. They made a good sales pitch by saying that they would charge a rate to look at the car and then once diagnosed they would apply that money paid for the diagnostic to the overall repair.At this point everything sounded great. Looked like we needed a tune up and would be out of there for about $250 after parts and labor--- or so we thought.This location gave us an estimate this estimate was a total of $552 to complete the job. Being skeptical, I took a look at the estimate and found that they were charging $79 for spark plug wires, $128 (est. I dont have the invoice with me at the moment) for a distributor cap, and other far overpriced parts. So I brought this up to them. I explained that spark plug wires shouldnt cost any more than $30 on a 1998 4 cylinder Honda Civic Ex. They gave me this answer:Its NAPA, its the best of the best! Thats what they charge.Really? Thats what Napa charges for spark plug wires? Mind blowing. I went to NAPAs website and selected the local store (reading rd) so that I would get the pricing and availabilities from the area. NAPA doesnt sell $80 spark plug wires for that vehicle unless they are special ordered. The same spark plug wires Bills was charging me $80 for, were actually $35. The same distributor cap the were charging $128 for was roughly $75. Overall, they had over $300 in parts while NAPA said they would charge roughly $180-$210 FOR THE SAME PARTS. On top of that, they were charging $200 for an hour and a half of labor on a job that would take 30-45 minutes TOPS. (So I would expect an hours worth of labor to be charged).When I showed the people there all of my pricing finds on NAPA, they refused to even look or back up the pricing. Further more, they even came back with the dealership would charge you more. Youre a self made business with no indication of having ASE certified or specialized mechanics and youre going to try to compare yourself to a specialized dealership. Uncalled for.They did manage to argue with me by saying theres an upcharge on parts. This is to be expected. But $80 on a part thats about half that? Thats ridiculous.All in all, I proposed them doing the work for $300. That will be $200 in parts and $100 in labor. Figuring that they would make an attempt to redeem themselves from clearly trying to take advantage of someone in a rough situation. They shot it down and suggested that we get the car fixed somewhere else--- their parking lot.This is the first time I have ever went to this shop. It will definitely be the last time aswell. We are going to Autozone today to pick up the whole list of parts they gave us for $170. Then we are going to fix our own car on their lot FOR FREE with a Phillips head screw driver and a 10mm wrench.Morale of the story, ALWAYS look up what youre being charged for. Maybe these people will learn from their mistakes and stop trying to double part prices. I will update this with invoice scans and receipts after the work is fully done.I would not recommend this place to anyone that has a brain.
