A great company. They always let customers know if there is a date change for the holidays. They treat their employees like real people and not just a body to do the work. Their prices are very reasonable.

We used Foughts for both household garbage and recycling, as they are the only ones in Berwick that do residential recycling pickup. The first month, they forgot to pick up recycling. We called and they picked it up the next day. The second month, they forgot again. We were going on vacation, but they were unable to come out and get the recycling that day, so we had to drag it all back in the garage then back out again when we were back. After calling to remind them to get the recycling, I was incredibly disappointed to see that the garbage and recycling all went into the same garbage truck. 6 weeks of separating recycling was wasted, not to mention the additional refuse into the landfill. I canceled our subscription today.

Update: I’ve called the office on a weekly bases to express my issues and every time I ask to speak with the owner or manager I am advised they are “too busy” or “someone will call me back” and never do. You are right, this is America. I am allowed to voice my concerns via telephone or social media. But notice, I got a response by doing this vs me calling the office every week and getting nowhere.I have been a customer with this company for almost two years. The trash is never picked up on time. I get that a storm may happen or a truck may break down but every time? I pay my trash bill every month, put my garbage out the night before, and my trash is rarely gone on time. I’ve resorted to taking pictures of when the trash is out and having my ring camera record every movement because I was told, one time, they came six in the morning and my trash wasn’t out and that’s why they didn’t collect. It’s excuse after excuse. Then, when you call, you get attitude like it is your fault. It’s a real shame. And trust me, my name is in your database.

Did not pick up my recycling three times, which they only do monthly of course. With this pandemic nonsense my recycling centers are closed so I relied on this service and it was one star at best. Friendly on the phone, incredibly inconsistent services.

Signed up for service outside of Orangeville. This is now the third week in a row that I must call the company to have someone pick up my garbage the next day or two days after schedule day pick up. Always an excuse on why it wasn’t picked up. Not satisfied with this company.

Highly disappointed with this company. Trash hadnt been picked up in over a week, and yes bill was paid. No notification or any kind of letters to let customers know about the incovience or as to what had been going on. Apparently company had been going through financial issues and had cut employees pay. Heard employees werent getting paid, checks were bouncing. Im all about supporting small businesses but a business that can not take care of their employees or customers is not a business that should be supported

Ive have used Foughts Disposal Septic Pumping Service for the last 6 years and will be a customer for life! They always friendly, professional and I would highly recommend them.
