Ive been seeing Anna at Mira probably since 2013-2014 and she is wonderful. I love her down-to-earth personality and her gentle, conversational presence. But if youre in a quiet mood, she can roll with that, too! Her scalp massages are phenomenal and she is impressively skilled at cutting and styling. Shes the only person I could trust when I decided to go for a pixie cut back in 2016 and now shes helping me grow it out. Shes also done some coloring with my hair and its never been a bad experience.The shop itself is super clean and inviting with lots of natural light. The receptionists are all super friendly and professional as well. It feels like such a treat each time I visit! Seriously no better place in Bloomington!

Mira is wonderful. I just got balayage from Rebecca and she did an amazing job. I also get eyebrow waxing there and it always looks great. Overall the service is awesome & it’s such a cozy vibe. Would recommend!!!

I really loved my experience at Mira and will be back!! I got a hair cut and advise about how to grow, style, and care for my hair. I was shown some hair oils that have made a huge difference! I do wish the layers were more visible, so thats why I did 4 stars, but I will definitely be back!!

I’ve never had good experiences with hair cuts since I have curly hair and everywhere I’ve gone seems to have issues cutting it. But Rachel did an AMAZING job and I am so happy with my hair cut. She asked lots of questions and was careful and thorough and obviously knows what she is doing. She made sure I was comfortable with everything she did and of course gave me some product suggestions and tips on managing my hair well. Pretty sure she is the first person to ever cut my curls when they’re dry, which I think made a lot of difference. I don’t think I’ve ever been quite so happy with a hair cut. Everyone there was friendly and professional and it’s a really nice place. Highly recommend to anyone!

They were able to get me in the day after I called to make an appointment. I was unsure of what exactly I wanted besides getting bangs and Margaret gave me advice and suggestions. She was super sweet and did a super amazing job. This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back!

Im dropping it down to 3 stars after my bad waxing experiences. If you want a tailored experience (All hair is not the same) (my hair isnt growing in at different lengths, its breaking) go somewhere else. Customer service is a 5 though

Went in for a simple long angled bob, have gone here for years.... showed the girl a pic of what I wanted... left in tears with my hair cut in the “Rachel” from 1994. Salon didn’t charge me, but I would rather of paid and not had my head ruined. Won’t be back.

I have been a long time client along with my husband and 3 kids. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service they have provided for us! They are professional, kind, extremely clean, and almost always on time! If they are running a few minutes behind they call you and let you know! With the Covid restrictions in place they all wear masks, even before it was mandated, and just the 3 hours I was there I saw them clean multiple times! I am considered at high risk because of my health and I felt totally safe being there! I would definitely recommend them!!❤️

I have been to Mira Salon & Spa to see Erin for my hair and Sydney for skin care and they are both amazing! I love that they listen to what I would like to achieve during each appointment. Erin and Sydney are also very kind and professional in what they do. I highly recommend checking out Mira for your hair and skin care needs!

I cannot recommend this salon enough. First time getting waxed and I was welcomed, encouraged, and left feeling like a million bucks because of Sydney. Any first time jitters went away as soon as I stepped into the salon. I felt like I was at home! Treat yourself and get an appointment with her ASAP and you will NOT regret it!! Will definitely be returning for all my future waxes

Ive been going to Mira for several years. They are always pleasant and professional. My stylists, Morgan, worked with me to get the style that fits me. Also my husband is picky with his hair, normally after a hair cut comes home and cuts it more. However, since he has been at Mira and found him a stylists (not the same as min) he no longer cuts his hair afterwards.

Love this place! I’ve been looking for a place that does good quality of hair for awhile. I found it here at Mira Salon. I had Morgan cut my long hair to just under my shoulders and had color done. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!

Please never ever go to this salon. I have never left with my hair looking this bad. I got my hair dyed yesterday and there are brown lines all over my blonde hair. Would compare Mira to Great Clips quality but 10X as expensive.update- The second picture is when they tried to fix my hair. I was told it could be fixed, but obviously not...

Great experience with Allie, who did a fantastic job cutting off my long hair into a cute pixie cut. Unexpectedly reasonable prices for a slick salon, and great customer service. Id recommend to a friend, and Im looking forward to returning.

Had a very wonderful experience at Mira Salon. I received a hair trim and gloss from Maya (sp?), and she was very gentle with my fragile hair. Very nice atmosphere, clean, and they had a lil coffee bar :) Maya accidentally brushed at my earring, and she felt so bad that she paid for my haircut. I think this is wonderful customer service, and I dont think I would receive service like this elsewhere. Ten outta ten would recommend!

Heather & her team are AWESOME! Beautiful environment, great staff. I cant say enough about how AMAZING Sarah is for skin & facial services. Ive had many facials in Vegas & other high-end spas, but that will never happen again because of Sarah, as I will never go anywhere else! She treats you with such personal service & gives you every pennies worth in personal attention--a true pampering experience. Shes not easy to get in to, but definitely with the wait. ♥️♥️♥️

Honestly, I’ve been to plenty of salons and my aunt has been a hairdresser for 45+ years. I moved to the Bloomington area almost a week ago looking for a good stylist who could color correct my hair. Morgan was so sweet and talented, but unfortunately she told me the MOST my hair would be was $180, when I checked out they said I owed $255. I didn’t even get a styling like I had seen so many pictures on social media at Mira. I’d like to say I’ll be going back, but unfortunately I will not. Talented work, but will not be returning.

Mira is a warm and welcoming space that provides wonderful customer service and amazing hair and skin services. The stylists are very skilled and create fabulous looks for both our female and male wedding clients. We highly recommend them!

I have visited Mira Salon regularly for several months and leave satisfied every time.I generally wear my hair very short, and until I started going to Jessica Pate at Mira Salon, I had trouble consistently getting a hip, feminine short do. Jessica is very friendly and works hard to get me a great haircut every time. I love the products they use and sell as well.A few of my friends and family have been going to Jessica also and report that they really like both stylist and salon.

The salon is beautiful, modern and clean. It is centrally located and easy to see from the road. My stylist was extremely friendly and really went the extra mile to make sure I felt really lovely the whole time I was there. I took one star off because while the service was great and Im confident in the quality of the stylists, my cut wasnt astonishing. I asked for a Ramirez Tran style messy lob which is sort of what I already had so they barely touched the scissors to me. I left looking like I wanted to but they styled instead of cut.

Kind staff and great people! The two stylists Ive been to have no idea how to work with curly hair. One did a razor cut (it took 2 years to grow out) and theother cut it wet after using a comb. When I scheduled last time, I specifically asked for someone who could cut curly hair. After the first bad cut, I should not have given them another try. This one is on me, but curlies should avoid!

I have gone to Jenna for many massages over the past two years. She is one of the most talented and intuitive masseuses I have ever seen. She can quickly sense where problem areas are, even if Im not aware of them. Yes, sometimes it hurt and other times it did not, but thats what happens with deep tissue work. Most of the time a masseuse will follow a routine spending X minutes on one area, and Y on the next. Jenna may start out that way, but she ends up focusing healing attention where it is needed.

Loved that they use eco friendly products! I had a great haircut for a reasonable price and had an excellent experience here.

Ive been going to Tiffany OBrien for over two years now. Through that time Ive tried some experimental, edgy styles and some more professional ones. Tiffany is an amazing stylist who has always taken as much time as needed and listened to my ideas while offering her professional suggestions and opinions to keep my hair looking awesome. Ive never had a cut from her that I didnt love and I always look forward to getting to chat with her when Im in!

Love this salon so much that I drive down from the north side of Indy. Ali is amazing with cut and color. Im terrible at articulating what I want, but very picky with my fine hair. Ali asks the right questions to figure out exactly what I need. Highly recommend working with her!

Fantastic! My wife and Ive been going here for over 5 years and Ashley and Erin are AWESOME! I trust Ashley so much I just tell her to do whatever she thinks looks best, and it always turns out great. If you cant get Ashley or Erin, Im sure the other stylists are great too.

Beautiful modern upbeat salon with skilled stylists. My facials with Sarah are the very best Ive ever had (including top spas in US!) & feels like pampering!

We absolutely love going here and we have to go about every 4 weeks or so because, as wedding photogs we have to look good every month. :) We absolutely love working with Ashley and have NEVER had a bad cut. I dont know what these two bad reviews were talking about, as weve never had bad service EVER when going here. Its wonderful and so are the people!!

I have been getting my hair professionally dyed and cut for about 13 years. I have a 2 year old now, a new business, and broke a rule that we all know...Dont try and bleach/highlight your own hair. lol Lets just say a bleaching kit, painful hair pulling through a cap and a nice leopard spotted look on top of my head later I broke down and called Mira! They got me in THAT day. While I can easily laugh at myself and realize its just hair, I really felt I had messed up my pretty hair that Id been taking care of for so long. Erin is who did my hair and she wasnt hard on me about being lazy and stupid for doing that but even laughed with me. It ended up looking great and I was very happy to have such a great hair stylist to go to again. So, thanks Erin! You did a great job on my leopard spots! hahahaha

I am extremely hesitant about getting my hair cut after all the BAD haircuts Ive had here in Bloomington. Ive tried several places only to get the exact same hair cut that I came in with except an inch shorter, which is NOT what I asked for....so, I made an appointment at Mira and Ash cut my hair. I just have to say she is SO WONDERFUL! She was nice, funny and the hair stylist that Ive been looking for all my life! I didnt have any trouble getting an appointment and I didnt have to wait forever when I came in for my appointment. I would truely recommend that if you are having trouble figuring out what to do with your hair, let Ash tell you what she thinks and let her do what she wants. Shes an artist and you will not be disapointed.
