John is the best tax accountant in Bloomington/Normal. He has done my taxes the past two years and I will not go to anyone else. His expertise and pricing is great.

We have used John for at least a decade. He’s very knowledgeable and nice. We don’t really like using the software to do our own taxes & he is more affordable than national chain stores. I’d rather support a local business also. Once a long time ago at a national chain tax place I felt like I was explaining to the person how to file credits for money I had spent on college classes and thought ok if I know more about how to file my taxes then why am I here? They were going to not get me all the $/ credit - I had to convince them they were about it file incorrectly. I need someone who knows what they are doing. Sometimes they hire people without experience at those places. We live 30 minutes from Bloomington now that we aren’t college age but we still come here and my parents come here from Morton! Plus if there’s ever an issue when getting an audit I didn’t do my taxes so I can just say hey john can you figure this out? But we haven’t had any issues and we trust him.
