They operate like a robot only looking at what is on the forms you submit and they do not read the letters attached. They did not question any additional information I stated in my letter and therefore my taxes were filed incorrectly in 2016 for my 2015 tax year. Now I have a letter from the IRS for an additional amount due with penalties. When I approached them about it they were rude and did not admit any error because they said I did not complete their form properly. I paid them a lot of money to figure my taxes. They should have read my letter and called me to discuss it but they did not. I was ignorant concerning the tax law and that is why I had a CPA helping me. Did they figure my taxes? Yes. Did they think to ask me questions concerning additional information given to them in a cover letter? No.

Was a customer of the IAA Auditing Association for many many years - 1989 ish? Paid more than twice the amount to have 2014 taxes done than 2013. Called to express my displeasure and was promised a call back the next day that I never received! I paid the bill but will not be returning. I am guessing the IAA Auditing Association customers did not mean a thing. I was told when I dropped my taxes off that I would no longer get the Farm Bureau Discount and that would be the only difference in fees. Guess I should have asked because I did not know my Farm Bureau discount nwas $220? But then I guess it looks like they charged me for making 2 phone calls to them to ask tax questions. Never was treated like that by the IAA Auditing Association.
